Claude Prompt: Build a Buying Committee for One Account

Give Claude one domain and what you sell. It returns the people most likely to sign, champion and block the deal. It works in any MCP client connected to https://api.leadocean.io/mcp. Setup is on the MCP page.

The prompt

Build a buying committee at acme.com for a payroll platform.
1. Call leadocean_count_leads with domain acme.com and jobLevel
   C-Team, VP, Director and Manager. Tell me the count first.
2. Call leadocean_search_leads with the same filters, limit 30.
3. Sort each person into one role: economic buyer (C-Team or VP of
   Finance or HR), champion (Director or Manager of HR), technical
   evaluator (IT or Operations), or blocker (Legal, Purchasing).
4. Show a table: role, title, country. No emails.
5. Name the first person to contact and the reason in one line.

What it resolves to

Roles are Claude's judgment from each title. LeadOcean holds titles and levels, not reporting lines or deal roles, so treat the table as a first draft.

How many match

16 mailable people matched on 1 October 2026. Filters: domain acme.com, jobLevel C-Team, VP, Director or Manager. Mailable means verified, catch_all_valid or catch_all, the count_leads default.

The count is free. Claude sorts all 16 into roles and you pick who to reach.

Variations

• Different product: replace "payroll platform" with "security tooling" and ask for the CISO and IT directors first.
• Wider net: add Staff to jobLevel and raise the limit to 100.
• Two accounts: paste two domains and ask for one table each.
