A Claude skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file: instructions Claude loads when your request matches the skill's description. It can also carry scripts and reference files. Claude reads the folder on demand, so you do not repeat the workflow in every chat. (Anthropic docs, September 2026)
LeadOcean's skills are plain steps that call our hosted MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp. You sign in with OAuth. No API key is pasted into Claude.
The server exposes 12 tools. count_leads is free, so every skill sizes the audience before it spends a record. Searches, lookups and exports cost one record per person or company returned.
Every skill page lists the tools in call order, the records per run, and the output format. A page goes live only after its zip has run end to end.

How to install a skill
- Connect LeadOcean's MCP server in Claude with the URL
https://api.leadocean.io/mcpand sign in with OAuth. Start free if you have no account yet. - Download the skill zip: Download account-researcher.zip, Download csv-enricher.zip, Download enrich-company.zip or Download enrich-person.zip. Each skill page links the same file.
- Add the skill. In claude.ai, upload the zip under Settings, Features. In Claude Code, unzip it into
~/.claude/skills/(personal) or.claude/skills/(one project). Then run/skill-name.
Skills do not sync across Claude surfaces, so upload once per surface you use.

Do the skills cost anything?
The skills are free to download. The records they spend come from your LeadOcean plan. Free gives 1,000 records one-off with no card. Pro is $499 a month. See pricing.
Which skill should I start with?
