Enrich Person

Give Claude a LinkedIn URL, a work email or a name and domain. It returns one person record for 1 record, and tells you what it spent.

What it does

Enrich Person is a Claude skill: a folder with a SKILL.md that tells Claude which LeadOcean MCP tools to call, and in what order. You ask "enrich Jane Doe at stripe.com" and Claude runs the steps.

It accepts a LinkedIn URL, a work email, a phone number or a name plus company domain. It returns name, current title, company, location, LinkedIn URL and email status. Email addresses and phone numbers come back only when you ask for them.

It enriches one person per run. For a list, use the Exports page in the LeadOcean app instead.

How it works

1. Resolve the key. A LinkedIn URL, email or phone goes straight to step 3. Nothing is spent.
2. Find the person from a name and domain. Claude calls leadocean_count_leads (free) to check the match exists. Then it calls leadocean_search_leads with limit: 5, at 1 record per person returned. It keeps the person_id of the matching row.
3. Enrich. Claude calls leadocean_get_lead with one key: linkedin_url, email, phone or person_id. It costs 1 record. With reveal_email: true it returns emails and phones at no extra record.
4. Phone only (optional). If you want a number and skipped the reveal, Claude calls leadocean_find_phone. It costs 1 record.
5. Company context (optional). Claude calls leadocean_get_company with the person's domain. It costs 1 record.

A person we hold nothing for is a 404, and Claude says so. A get_lead call that finds nobody costs nothing. Claude does not guess.

How to use it

1. Download the zip: Download enrich-person.zip.
2. In Claude, open Settings, then Skills, and upload the zip.
3. Connect the LeadOcean MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp. Sign in with OAuth. You paste no key.
4. Ask: "Enrich Jane Doe at stripe.com and reveal her email."

The connection needs a LeadOcean account. Start free: 1,000 records, one-off, no card.

Sample output

Claude sizes the match before it spends anything. On 30 September 2026 we ran leadocean_count_leads with domain: ["stripe.com"] and jobLevel: ["VP"]. It returned 26 people with a mailable email (verified, catch_all_valid or catch_all). The call was free.

The same filter with hasEmail: true and hasPhone: true returned 25 people. That count uses any email status, so the two numbers measure different things.

Output format (placeholder values). Claude prints this block for one person, then one line of cost:

A run with a LinkedIn URL and a reveal costs 1 record. The worst case, with every optional step, is 8.
