Enrich Company

What it does

Enrich Company is a Claude skill: a folder with one SKILL.md that tells Claude which LeadOcean MCP tools to call, and in what order. You give it domains. It returns a table with name, industry, employees, HQ and funding, and a count of mailable people per company.

Contacts are optional. Ask for "3 VPs per company" and it adds them. Ask for nothing more and it stops at the company rows.

It never spends records you did not approve. It checks your balance first and states the cost before it starts.

How it works

1. Check the balance. get_account reads your plan and records left. Free, 0 records.
2. State the plan. Claude tells you "N companies, about N records" and stops if the list is larger than your balance.
3. Enrich each company. get_company runs once per domain. 1 record per company. A miss is marked "not found" and skipped.
4. Count the people. count_leads runs with the domain as the filter. Free, 0 records. By default it counts verified, catch_all_valid and catch_all addresses, so the number is mailable people.
5. Pull contacts, only if asked. search_leads runs with the domain, your title or job level, and a limit. 1 record per person returned.

The skill uses four of the 12 LeadOcean MCP tools. The server lives at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp and signs in with OAuth, so there is no key to paste.

How to use it

1. Download enrich-company.zip.
2. In Claude, open Settings, then Capabilities, then Skills, and upload the zip.
3. Add the LeadOcean MCP server with the URL above if you have not already. Create a free account first.
4. Ask: "Enrich these companies with the enrich-company skill: stripe.com, notion.so, linear.app".

To add contacts, say so in the same message: "Also give me 2 Directors per company".

Sample output

The free step of a run is the people count. We ran count_leads with domain: ["stripe.com"] on 2026-09-30.

That is 10,301 mailable people at stripe.com on 2026-09-30, for 0 records. The company row from get_company spends 1 record, so we have not pasted a real one here.

Output format (placeholder values)

The skill shows one table, one row per company, in the order you gave. Fields the response does not hold show as n/a.

If you ask for contacts, a second table follows. Emails and phones stay out unless you ask for them, and then they appear as an extra column such as jane@acme.com.

The run ends with three lines:

• Companies enriched: 1 of 1.
• Records spent: 2 (1 for companies, 1 for contacts).
• Records left: 998 (call get_account again).

Records per run

A run of 25 companies with no contacts costs 25 records. Add 3 contacts each and it costs up to 100. The free plan covers 1,000 records, one-off, with no card. Pro is $499 a month.
