Name one product and Claude returns a sized list of buyers at companies whose website runs it. Connect https://api.leadocean.io/mcp first. Setup is on the MCP page. The example uses Zendesk as a stand-in for your competitor.

The prompt

text
Find customer service leaders at US companies whose website runs Zendesk.
1. Call leadocean_count_leads with technologies Zendesk, jobFunction
Customer/Client Service, jobLevel Director and VP, and country US.
2. Tell me the count and the exact filters you used.
3. Do not call leadocean_search_leads until I say go.

Swap Zendesk for the product you compete with. Keep step 3: it holds Claude at the free count, so nothing is spent until you approve the size and the filters. Run it in any MCP client, not only Claude.

What it resolves to

FilterValue
technologiesZendesk
jobFunctionCustomer/Client Service
jobLevelDirector, VP
countryUS

The technologies filter matches a technology detected on the company website. It is a free-text name, not a closed list, so no enum lookup is needed.

How many match

1,467 mailable people matched on 2 October 2026. Filters: technologies Zendesk, jobFunction Customer/Client Service, jobLevel Director or VP, country US.

Mailable means verified, catch_all_valid or catch_all, the count_leads default. The count is free. Detection covers about 7.8M crawled sites, so this is a floor. A product used only behind a login does not show up.

What you get back

Search rows carry the fields below. These are placeholder values, not real records.

  • Replace the product with two names and count both to see the combined pool.
  • Change jobFunction to Information Technology and jobLevel to C-Team to reach the owner of the tool.

Records it spends

leadocean_count_leads is free. leadocean_search_leads costs 1 record per person returned, so a limit of 25 costs 25 records. Free gives you 1,000 records one-off with no card. Pro is $499 a month. See pricing.
