6 Best B2B Databases for Hong Kong in 2026

Six databases ranked on one market, with a free Hong Kong count we ran, what each vendor prints, and the cost of 1M records a month.

Get your free API key →Free to start. No credit card. 1,000 records to spend whenever you like.

A B2B database for Hong Kong holds business contacts and companies based there, with enough titles, emails and phones to build a real list. Sales teams, agencies and data engineers who sell into Asia's financial gateway need one. Most global vendors print one worldwide total and say nothing about Hong Kong.

We checked. None of the six below prints a Hong Kong figure on the pages we read in October 2026. So we ran a free count on LeadOcean and show how to run the same test on the rest. Read each rival on its own page: ZoomInfo, Apollo, Lusha, ContactOut and Cognism.

What we evaluated

  • Hong Kong sizing: whether you can count Hong Kong people or companies before you pay, and whether the vendor prints its own figure.
  • Email and phone depth: whether a count means contacts with a usable email, or profiles of any kind.
  • Company coverage: whether you can filter Hong Kong headquarters, industry and headcount, since most Hong Kong firms are small.
  • API and MCP: whether a script or an agent can pull Hong Kong records directly.
  • Price at volume: flat, credits, seats or quote, and the cost of 1M records.

We ran our own counts on LeadOcean on 2026-10-21. We ran no query on the rivals, so we print no hit rates for them. Vendor figures are vendor claims.

What the free counts showed

These counts spend no records. All use country: HK, the person's location.

Filter (LeadOcean, 2026-10-21)People
Hong Kong, any email status1,680,647
Hong Kong, verified or catch-all email499,839
Hong Kong, a phone number held, any email status217,251
Hong Kong, C-Team, verified or catch-all email41,134

The 499,839 mailable people work at 30,144 distinct employers. Separately, count_companies found 44,947 companies headquartered in Hong Kong. Of those, 32,450 have 1 to 10 staff and 8,584 have 11 to 50. Only 31 are in the 10001+ band. Hong Kong is a small-company market, so check headcount filters on any tool you buy.

1. LeadOcean: best for API and agent buyers

LeadOcean holds 693M people and 67M companies. It has a country filter with 254 codes, so HK is one call. The numbers above came from the MCP count_leads tool, which is free however often you run it. The count above for people with a phone is labelled by what we filtered: phone held, any email status. It is not a mailable count.

Here is the weak point: Hong Kong is a small slice of the index. 499,839 mailable people is a good list for finance, trading and agency buyers, but it will not feed a big outbound team alone. Run the count with your own titles before you buy. The REST call below sizes an audience for free, with count=true as a query parameter.

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/search?count=true&limit=1" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"country": ["HK"], "jobLevel": ["C-Team"], "hasEmail": true}'

That count is people with an email of any status. Add emailStatus to narrow it. For companies, GET /v1/companies/count and the MCP tool leadocean_count_companies size a Hong Kong company list for free. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp exposes 13 tools and signs in with OAuth 2.1.

Pros

  • A free, exact count for Hong Kong people and companies, with email status and phone filters.
  • Agency is $497 a month flat, with 200 requests a second, 5 keys and no credit meter.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
  • One search pages to 10,000 rows, and bulk CSV export is on Solo and above.

Cons

  • No rep workspace, sequencer, dialer or CRM.
  • Hong Kong is about half a million mailable people, not millions.
  • v2 contact lookups cost a record even on a miss, and Free is 1,000 records for life.

Best for: engineers, agencies and agents that want Hong Kong finance, trade and service contacts at volume with a fixed bill.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records for life, no card. Solo is $97 a month, Agency $497 and Platform $1,997 (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).

2. ZoomInfo: best for an Asia mobile count and pay-per-record

ZoomInfo prints an Asia row, not a Hong Kong one. Its data page shows 4.8M+ companies, 68.3M+ contacts and 12.9M+ mobile numbers for Asia (ZoomInfo data page, October 2026). By its own figures, mobiles are about 19% of Asian contacts. There is no country table, so Hong Kong has to be sized inside the product.

Its pay-as-you-go product, GTM AI, sells data credits from $20: $0.45 a credit at 100 and $0.25 at 100,000. Search, lookup and find similar are free, and a record is charged once per 12 months (GTM AI pricing, September 2026; GTM AI docs, September 2026).

Hong Kong test. GTM AI Free includes 1,000 data credits, no card. Because search is free, run a Hong Kong location filter first and spend credits only on rows you keep. ZoomInfo runs an official MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor (GTM AI docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • A published Asia figure for companies, contacts and mobiles.
  • Free search, with a record charged once a year.
  • Official MCP server and a free tier with API access.

Cons

  • The public slider stops at 100,000 credits, so 1M is a sales talk.
  • No Hong Kong or country figure on the data page.
  • Rate limits start at 5 requests a second on Builder.

Best for: teams that need mobile numbers in Asia and accept a sales call at volume.

Pricing: GTM AI pay as you go from $20, with 1,000 free data credits at signup (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).

3. Apollo: best for a free Hong Kong count plus sequences

apollo homepage

Apollo prints no Hong Kong figure. Its people search costs 0 credits and returns a total_entries count, so you can measure Hong Kong yourself (Apollo API docs, September 2026). Filter with person_locations[], which takes cities and countries, such as hong kong.

The search shows at most 50,000 records, 100 a page. An email costs 1 credit and a phone 8, and credits are per seat (Apollo API pricing, September 2026).

Hong Kong test. Apollo Free gives 75 credits a month and an API key. Count Hong Kong by location, split by title, then spend credits on your own 25 contacts. The MCP server is at mcp.apollo.io and works on any plan (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • A free, public way to count Hong Kong people by location.
  • Sequences, dialer and extensions on the same plan.
  • Official MCP server on every plan.

Cons

  • Credits are per seat, expire each cycle and do not roll over.
  • A phone costs 8 credits, and 1M emails means 250 to 400 seats.
  • The search display limit is 50,000 records.

Best for: reps who want a free Hong Kong count and a sequencer in one app.

Pricing: Free $0 (75 credits a month). Basic $65 per seat a month ($49 billed yearly). Professional $99 ($79). Organization $149 ($119) (Apollo pricing, September 2026). 1M work emails is $24,750 a month at list on monthly billing, from 250 Professional seats.

4. Lusha: best for small-batch Hong Kong lookups

lusha homepage

Lusha's data page shows global totals only: 515M+ contacts and 29M+ companies, with 165M+ verified emails (Lusha data page, October 2026). It prints no country table that we could read, so Hong Kong is untested until you try it. An email costs 1 credit and a phone 5 (Lusha API docs, September 2026).

Every user gets an API key, Free included, with 40 requests a minute and 100 a day on Free and Starter. The MCP server has 50 tools and shares the API credit pool (Lusha MCP docs, September 2026).

Hong Kong test. Lusha Free gives 40 credits a month. Look up 25 Hong Kong contacts you know and read the hit rate. At 100 requests a day on Free, the test fits in one sitting.

Pros

  • Chrome extension and workspace on the same account as the API.
  • An API key on every plan, Free included.
  • MCP server with 50 tools.

Cons

  • Credits end at a small plan: 1M work emails by bulk API is 1,040,000 credits.
  • No public 1M price, and Scale is custom.
  • No Hong Kong figure or email and phone split.

Best for: small teams that look up Hong Kong decision makers one at a time.

Pricing: Free $0 for 40 credits a month. Starter $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly). Pro $69.90 ($52.45). Premium $399.90 ($299.95) (Lusha pricing, September 2026).

5. ContactOut: best for cheap profile-led lookups

contactout homepage

ContactOut prints no Hong Kong figure either. It sells a regional plan for contacts outside the US. Regional Email is $25 a month ($19 billed yearly) and Regional Email + Phone is $49 ($39). Global plans cost $49 and $99 (ContactOut pricing, September 2026).

That regional price is why it ranks here. For a one-person team looking up Hong Kong profiles, it is the cheapest paid plan on this page. It is not a bulk source: self-serve fair use is 2,000 emails and 1,000 phones per account a month, with one user per company (ContactOut terms, September 2026).

Hong Kong test. ContactOut Free gives 5 emails, 5 phones and 5 exports a day. Run five of your own Hong Kong contacts a day and note the hit rate. API keys come from a sales meeting (ContactOut API, September 2026). The MCP page shows 15 tools (ContactOut MCP, September 2026).

Pros

  • Regional plans start at $25 a month ($19 billed yearly).
  • Profile-led lookups for people outside the US.
  • MCP server with 15 tools.

Cons

  • No Hong Kong figure.
  • 2,000 emails per account a month and one user per company.
  • No public API price. The People Search API allows 60 requests a minute.

Best for: recruiters and solo sellers who look up Hong Kong contacts one by one.

Pricing: Regional Email $25 a month ($19 billed yearly). Regional Email + Phone $49 ($39). Global Email $49 ($39). Global Email + Phone $99 ($79) (ContactOut pricing, September 2026).

6. Cognism: best for teams that will take a quote and a sample

cognism homepage

Cognism prints no Hong Kong figure and no price. The API search takes a location filter with region and country sub-filters, and a count endpoint to size a list first (Cognism API docs, September 2026). One credit is one revealed contact. Plans are Standard and Pro, quote only (Cognism pricing, September 2026).

Hong Kong test. Ask for the free data sample. You describe your ideal customer profile and Cognism says it returns a sample with verified mobiles and emails in about 72 hours (Cognism data sample, September 2026). Tell them to build it from Hong Kong accounts, and compare the hit rate against your own list.

Pros

  • A location filter with region and country, and a count endpoint.
  • A free data sample built on your own profile.
  • MCP server with 15 tools, using the same tokens and credits.

Cons

  • No public price and no Hong Kong figure.
  • The sample takes about 72 hours, not minutes.
  • API search is limited to 500 requests a minute per operation.

Best for: teams that will go through sales and judge Hong Kong coverage from a sample.

Pricing: No public price. Plans are Standard and Pro, quote only (Cognism pricing, September 2026).
