Claude Prompt: Find Companies That Raised a Seed Round This Year

Claude lists the companies whose most recent round is a seed from 2026, then finds the founders. It works in any MCP client connected to https://api.leadocean.io/mcp. Setup is on the MCP page.

The prompt

Find companies that raised a seed round in 2026.
1. Call leadocean_list_enum_values for funding_type and use the
   exact string for Seed.
2. Call leadocean_search_companies with fundingType Seed and
   minLastFundingYear 2026, limit 25.
3. Show a table: company, industry, company size, country.
4. For the first 5 companies, call leadocean_search_leads with the
   company domain and seniority founder, limit 2.
5. Add the founder titles to the table. No emails.

What it resolves to

fundingType describes the last round only. A company that raised a seed in 2026 and then a Series A is out of the list.

How many match

2,405,373 mailable founders at companies with 1-10 or 11-50 staff matched on 2 October 2026. Filters: seniority founder, employeeRange 1-10 or 11-50. Mailable means verified, catch_all_valid or catch_all, the count_leads default.

Funding filters are not supported by leadocean_count_leads, so this count is wider than your list. The seed and 2026 filters narrow it when Claude searches. Use the count to check the size and seniority filters return people, then let the search do the funding cut.

• One market: add hqCountry US and ask for software companies only.
• Last year's class: set minLastFundingYear to 2025 and maxLastFundingYear to 2025.
