Claude Prompt: Find Hiring Managers for a Role

Find hiring managers for a backend engineer role at US companies
with 51 to 500 employees.
1. Call leadocean_list_enum_values for job_function and job_level
   and use the exact strings.
2. Call leadocean_count_leads with title "Engineering Manager",
   jobFunction Engineering, jobLevel Manager and Director,
   country US and employeeRange 51-200 and 201-500.
3. Tell me the count and the filters you used.
4. Do not call leadocean_search_leads until I say go.

What it resolves to

LeadOcean has no "hiring manager" field. The prompt uses the manager who owns the team the role sits in. Swap the title and jobFunction for the role you are filling. Title is a keyword match, so "Senior Engineering Manager" also counts. Wrap the value in [brackets] for an exact title.

How many match

10,541 mailable people matched on 1 October 2026. Filters: title Engineering Manager, jobFunction Engineering, jobLevel Manager or Director, country US, employeeRange 51-200 or 201-500.

Mailable means verified, catch_all_valid or catch_all, the count_leads default. The count is free. It does not tell you who has an open requisition, so check the company's job board before you write.
