A B2B database for Colombia is a searchable store of business contacts and companies located in Colombia, with enough email and phone coverage to build a real prospect list. Sales teams, agencies and developers who sell into Bogotá, Medellín and Cali need one. Most global vendors print one worldwide total and leave Colombia to a test.

So we ran one. On 2026-10-21 we counted Colombia on LeadOcean, which spends no records, and compared it with what five rivals print. Only People Data Labs prints a Colombia figure today. Lusha's data page no longer lists country rows. Read the rival pages first if you already use one: Apollo, Lusha, ZoomInfo, People Data Labs and Crustdata.

"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, at list price. Where a vendor posts no price at that volume, we say so and do not multiply a small-plan rate.

What we evaluated

  • Colombia coverage: a published count for Colombia, or a free way to get one.
  • Mailable depth: how many Colombian contacts hold an email you can send to, and how many hold a phone.
  • Free test: whether you can size Colombia before you pay, with your own filters.
  • API and MCP: whether a script or an agent can pull Colombian records directly.
  • Price at volume: flat, credits, seats or quote, and what 1M records cost.

We ran our own count on LeadOcean only. We ran no query on the rivals, so we print no hit rates for them. Vendor figures are vendor claims, and each vendor counts "contacts" its own way.

1. LeadOcean: best for API and agent buyers

LeadOcean holds 693M people and 67M companies. We ran count_leads with country set to CO on 2026-10-21. It returned 6,201,851 people in Colombia across all email statuses. The count spends no records.

Of those, 393,115 are mailable, meaning a verified, catch-all valid or catch-all email. That is 6.3% of Colombia. The mailable people span 39,970 employers. 121,393 people in Colombia have a phone number, or 2.0%.

Companies: count_companies with hqCountry set to CO returned 155,766 companies on the same day. 111,029 of them have 1 to 10 staff, and 30,122 have 11 to 50. Only 1,242 have more than 1,000. The top industries are Retail (7,426), Business Consulting and Services (6,670) and Advertising Services (5,910).

Here is a senior-buyer cut. People in Bogotá at C-Team, VP or Director level number 72,950, and 10,362 of them are mailable. By HQ state, Antioquia leads with 13,749 companies, ahead of Bogota with 12,758 and Cundinamarca with 12,660.

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/search?count=true&limit=1" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"country": ["CO"], "city": ["Bogotá"], "jobLevel": ["C-Team", "VP", "Director"], "emailStatus": ["verified", "catch_all_valid", "catch_all"]}'

That call sizes a mailable Bogotá decision-maker list for free. Over REST, meta.total stops at 100,000, so use leadocean_count_leads over MCP for an exact total on wide filters. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp has 13 tools and signs in with OAuth 2.1. GET /v1/companies/count and leadocean_count_companies size a company list for free.

Pros

  • A free, exact count by country, city, level, industry, company size and email status.
  • Agency is $497 a month flat, with 200 requests a second, five keys and no credit meter.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, Free included.
  • The dataset is refreshed monthly, and each record carries its own fetched_at date.

Cons

  • Mailable people are 6.3% of Colombia, and phones 2.0%. Do not expect a full directory.
  • Small employers dominate the company base: 71% have 1 to 10 staff.
  • No rep workspace, sequencer, dialer, CRM or Chrome extension.
  • Free is 1,000 records, one-off, and bulk CSV export is not on Free.

Best for: engineers, agencies and agents that sell into Colombian companies at volume and want a fixed bill.

Pricing: Free $0 for 1,000 records, no card. Solo $97 a month. Agency $497 a month. Platform $1,997 a month (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).

2. Apollo: best for reps who also need sequences and a dialer

apollo homepage

Apollo prints no Colombia figure. You measure it by searching, because the people search API costs no credits and returns a total. Filter with person_locations[], which takes cities and countries, and read the count one country at a time.

An email costs 1 credit and a phone 8. Credits are per seat, pooled across the team, and expire at the end of each billing cycle (Apollo API pricing, September 2026). Every plan includes API access, and the official MCP server at mcp.apollo.io works on any plan, Free included (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).

Colombia test. Apollo Free gives 75 credits a month. Search Colombia by country, read the total, then spend credits on 25 contacts you really sell to. Include titles in Spanish, such as Gerente Comercial and Director de Ventas.

Pros

  • Free, countable search with person_locations[].
  • Sequences, dialer and rep workspace in one product.
  • Official MCP server on every plan.

Cons

  • No published Colombia figure, so the first number comes from your own test.
  • A phone costs 8 credits, so phone-heavy lists burn credits fast.
  • 1M email lookups at list price is 250 Professional seats, $24,750 a month, or 400 Basic seats at $19,600 billed yearly.
  • Credits do not roll over.

Best for: sales reps who want Colombian search and outreach in one workspace.

Pricing: Basic $65 per seat a month ($49 billed yearly). Professional $99 ($79). Organization $149 ($119, three seats minimum) (Apollo pricing, September 2026).

3. Lusha: best for small batches in a browser

lusha homepage

Lusha claims 515M+ contacts and 29M+ companies worldwide, with 165M+ verified emails (Lusha data page, October 2026). The page listed no country rows when we read it on 2026-10-21, so we cannot print a Colombia count.

An email costs 1 credit and a phone 5. A single API request for email plus phone is up to 7 credits (Lusha API docs, September 2026). The MCP server has 50 tools and shares the API credit pool (Lusha MCP docs, September 2026).

Colombia test. Lusha Free gives 40 credits a month. That is enough to look up 25 Colombian contacts and read the hit rate yourself. API search on Free is capped at 100 requests a day.

Pros

  • Every plan includes an API key, Free included.
  • MCP server with 50 tools.
  • A browser workspace and extension for reps.

Cons

  • No Colombia count we could read today.
  • Credits end at a small plan: Premium tops out at 10,000 a month.
  • No public 1M price, and Scale is custom.

Best for: teams that look up Colombian contacts in small batches.

Pricing: Free $0 for 40 credits a month. Starter $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly). Pro $69.90 ($52.45). Premium $399.90 ($299.95) (Lusha pricing, September 2026).

4. ZoomInfo: best for teams that accept a sales call at volume

ZoomInfo prints no Colombia row. Its data page lists South America as one region: 2.6M+ companies and 28.7M+ contacts (ZoomInfo data page, October 2026). Colombia sits inside that total, with no split.

Its pay-as-you-go product, GTM AI, sells data credits from $20. A credit costs $0.45 at 100 credits and $0.25 at 100,000. Search and lookup are free, and a record is charged once per 12 months (GTM AI pricing, September 2026; GTM AI docs, September 2026).

Colombia test. GTM AI Free includes 1,000 data credits, no card. Because search is free, run your Colombian filters first and spend credits only on rows you keep. ZoomInfo has an official MCP server that works with Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor (GTM AI docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Free search, with a record charged once a year.
  • Official MCP server and a free tier with API access.
  • Free tier runs at 5 requests a second.

Cons

  • No Colombia row, so depth comes only from your own test.
  • The public slider stops at 100,000 credits, so 1M is an Enterprise talk.
  • Platform plan prices sit behind a human check on zoominfo.com/pricing, so we quote none.

Best for: teams that already use ZoomInfo and accept a quote for volume.

Pricing: GTM AI pay as you go from $20, with 1,000 free data credits at signup (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).

5. People Data Labs: best for licensed Colombian profiles

people-data-labs homepage

People Data Labs (PDL) is the only rival here that prints a Colombia count. Its country table lists 11,223,480 records for Colombia (PDL country stats, October 2026). PDL warns that the table has duplicates, and these are profiles, not mailable contacts.

Globally, 592,376,573 of 2,466,510,427 profiles carry an email, about 24% (PDL dataset stats, September 2026). Apply that ratio with care, because PDL does not print it for Colombia.

Colombia test. PDL Free gives up to 100 credits a month, but contact data is obscured. Use it to test match rate on your 25 contacts, not emails. Person Search allows 10 requests a minute, and each record returned is one credit (PDL usage limits, September 2026).

Pros

  • A published Colombia count.
  • Dataset licences for your own warehouse.
  • Enrichment allows 1,000 calls a minute on paid plans.

Cons

  • The Colombia count is profiles with duplicates, not contacts with emails.
  • No official MCP server in its docs index (PDL docs, September 2026).
  • Above 100,000 records you go to an Enterprise quote.

Best for: teams that license Colombian profiles into a warehouse and find emails elsewhere.

Pricing: Free up to 100 credits a month. Pro from $98 a month for 350 credits, or $78 a month billed yearly (PDL pricing, September 2026).

6. Crustdata: best for agents that need signals and enrichment

crustdata homepage

Crustdata sells people and company data by API and MCP, with credits per call. Its homepage claims 1B people but prints no Colombia figure, and it states two different company totals, 60M and 200M+. We treat those as claims.

Costs are per call. Search is 0.03 credits per result, person enrich is 1 to 7 credits, and a work-email lookup is 2 credits on a self-serve key (Crustdata pricing docs, September 2026). The pricing page lists no dollar prices (Crustdata pricing, September 2026).

Colombia test. Ask for a trial allowance, then run 25 Colombian contacts through person enrich and read the hit rate. The hosted MCP server uses OAuth sign-in (Crustdata MCP docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Hosted MCP server and an API built for agents.
  • Per-call credit costs are published in the docs.
  • Change watchers for people and companies.

Cons

  • No public dollar price and no Colombia count.
  • Default rate limits are low: 15 requests a minute on person enrich (Crustdata rate limits, September 2026).
  • Contact enrich needs an enterprise plan.

Best for: agent builders who want fresh signals more than a bulk Colombian list.

Pricing: No public dollar price. Credits are sold through usage tiers and a sales route (Crustdata pricing, September 2026).

How to choose

  • You pull Colombia through an API or an agent: pick LeadOcean. A free count by city, level and email status, and a flat $497 a month, fit volume work.
  • Your reps need a workspace and Colombia is one market: pick Apollo, and read the free total for Colombia first.
  • You look up Colombian contacts in small batches: pick Lusha, and test 25 contacts on the free plan.
  • You already pay for ZoomInfo: stay, and run Colombian searches free before spending credits.
  • You license profiles into a warehouse: pick People Data Labs and find emails with another source.
  • You build agents that watch for change: pick Crustdata, and expect a sales call for pricing.

Verdict

LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers, because it gives a free, exact Colombia count with email and phone filters, at $497 a month flat. Its Colombian base is thin on mailable contacts and phones, and 71% of its companies have 10 staff or fewer, so enterprise-only lists are a weaker fit. Apollo wins for reps who want search and outreach in one workspace, and People Data Labs for licensed profiles. Lusha suits small batches and ZoomInfo suits teams that buy by quote. Crustdata fits agent builders. Run the 25-contact test before you pay anyone, LeadOcean included.
