A B2B data provider for LATAM sells business contacts and company records located in Latin America, deep enough in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Chile to build a real list. Sales teams, agencies and data engineers who sell into the region need one. Most global vendors print one worldwide total and leave Latin America to the buyer.
Only three of the six below print country figures for the region: Lusha, People Data Labs and ZoomInfo. Apollo prints none, and Speedio covers Brazil only. A free count or a test on your own list has to settle the rest. We ran our own count on LeadOcean on 2026-10-01.
This page ranks six providers on LATAM coverage alone, with list prices checked in September 2026. Read each rival on its own page: Lusha, ZoomInfo, Apollo and People Data Labs. Also see best B2B databases, best B2B data providers for the UK and best B2B data providers.
TL;DR
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Cost at 1M records a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeadOcean | API, agent and volume buyers who want a free, exact LATAM count | Free (1,000 records, one-off). Solo $97 a month | $497 a month on Agency. Fair use applies |
| Lusha | The largest published count for Mexico and the Andean countries | Free (40 credits a month). Starter $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly) | No public 1M price. Top public tier is $977.40 a month for 10,000 credits |
| ZoomInfo | Teams that want published mobile counts by country | GTM AI pay as you go from $20. Free 1,000 data credits | No public 1M price. Public slider stops at 100,000 credits for $25,000 |
| Apollo | Reps who also need sequences and a dialer | Free (75 credits a month). Basic $65 per seat a month ($49 billed yearly) | $24,750 a month on monthly billing ($19,600 a month equivalent billed yearly) |
| People Data Labs | Licensed datasets with counts for every large LATAM country | Free (up to 100 credits a month). Pro $98 a month for 350 credits ($78 billed yearly) | No public 1M price. Volume above 100,000 records is an Enterprise quote |
| Speedio | Brazilian company lists with decision-makers, bought in reais | From R$719 a month for 300 companies | No public 1M price. Top public plan is R$1,379 a month for 1,000 companies |
"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, at list price. Speedio sells company exports, not email lookups, so its row is a plan limit, not a 1M price.
What we evaluated
- Published LATAM coverage: a figure for the region or by country, with a source we can link.
- Free coverage test: whether you can size a Latin American audience, or test your own list, before you pay.
- Email and phone depth: whether the figure counts contacts with a usable email or only profiles.
- API and MCP: whether an agent or script can pull LATAM records directly.
- Price at volume: flat, credits, seats, reais or quote, and the cost of 1M records.
We ran our own count on LeadOcean. We ran no query on the rivals, so we print no hit rates for them. Vendor figures are vendor claims, and each vendor counts "contacts" its own way.
LATAM is not one definition. LeadOcean's LATAM region follows its salesRegion filter and includes Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, so compare by country, not by regional total.
Published counts side by side
These are the figures each vendor prints for the six largest countries. LeadOcean's column is people in the country across all email statuses. Lusha's and ZoomInfo's are contacts, rounded. PDL's is resume-dataset profiles, with duplicates.
| Country | LeadOcean people (2026-10-01) | LeadOcean mailable | Lusha contacts | ZoomInfo contacts | PDL profiles |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Brazil | 34,042,585 | 2,896,383 | 36.6M+ | 15.5M | 58,865,020 |
| Mexico | 10,947,122 | 973,394 | 11.2M+ | 5.9M | 17,077,452 |
| Colombia | 5,794,498 | 386,894 | 6.4M+ | 3.1M | 11,208,215 |
| Argentina | 5,769,360 | 566,366 | 6M+ | 3.2M | 10,887,613 |
| Chile | 4,273,137 | 425,716 | 4.1M+ | 2.2M | 6,659,434 |
| Peru | 3,392,283 | 184,294 | 3.6M+ | 1.9M | 7,288,328 |
Mailable means a verified or catch-all email. ZoomInfo's figures come from the country map on its data page (ZoomInfo data page, October 2026).
How to run the coverage test
Take 25 contacts you really sell to in LATAM, split across Mexico City, São Paulo, Bogotá, Buenos Aires and Santiago. Use your own list, not ours. Run them through each free tier below and count how many return a work email. Do the same for phones.
Try titles in Spanish and Portuguese, such as Director Comercial, Gerente de Ventas and Diretor Comercial, because a title filter that only knows English can hide real matches. Free tiers are enough: Lusha Free gives 40 credits a month, Apollo Free 75, ZoomInfo GTM AI 1,000 data credits and LeadOcean 1,000 records, one-off.
1. LeadOcean: best for API and agent buyers
LeadOcean holds 693M people and 67M companies. Its salesRegion filter has a LATAM value, and country has 254 codes, where the country is the one the person is in. We ran count_leads on 2026-10-01, which spends no records. LATAM returns 73,792,911 people across all email statuses.
Brazil is 34,042,585 of them, or 46%. Mexico has 10,947,122, Colombia 5,794,498, Argentina 5,769,360 and Chile 4,273,137. By continent, South America returns 58,134,321 people. 19,636,354 people in LATAM have an email of any status, and 5,984,947 have a verified or catch-all email, the mailable count. 1,474,464 have a phone number.
Here is the weak point: LATAM is thin on mailable contacts and phones. Mailable people are 8.1% of the region, and phones are 2.0%. Of the mailable people, 2,434,522 work at companies of 10,001 or more staff, and only 860,572 at companies of 11 to 200. 226,472 mailable people in LATAM are C-Team, and 117,642 mailable people are in Mexico City.
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/search?count=true" \
-H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"country": ["MX"], "city": ["Mexico City"], "emailStatus": ["verified", "catch_all_valid", "catch_all"], "limit": 1}'That call counts people in Mexico City with a verified or catch-all email status, for free. Over REST, meta.total stops at 100,000, so use narrower filters or the MCP count_leads tool for exact totals. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp exposes 13 tools and signs in with OAuth 2.1.
Pros
- A free, exact count by country, city, seniority, industry, company size and email status.
- Agency is $497 a month flat, with 200 requests a second per account and no credit meter.
- REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
- The dataset is refreshed monthly, and each record carries its own
fetched_atdate.
Cons
- Mailable people are 8.1% of LATAM, and phones 2.0%.
- Skews to large employers: 41% of mailable people work at companies of 10,001 or more staff.
- No rep workspace, sequencer, dialer or CRM. v2 contact lookups cost a record even on a miss.
- Free is 1,000 records one-off, so a large test needs a paid plan.
Best for: engineers, agencies and agents that sell into LATAM's larger companies at volume and want a fixed bill.
Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Solo is $97, Agency $497 and Platform $1,997 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).
2. Lusha: best for Mexico and the Andean countries

Lusha prints the largest country figures here. Its data page shows South America at 62.3M+ contacts and 2.6M+ companies, and Mexico at 11.2M+ contacts (Lusha data page, October 2026). Brazil is 36.6M+, Colombia 6.4M+, Argentina 6M+, Chile 4.1M+ and Peru 3.6M+. Central America is listed country by country, such as Costa Rica at 860K+ and Panama at 550K+.
Those are contact counts, not mailable counts, and the page does not say how many hold an email or a phone. Figures are rounded down, and the page was last updated September 30, 2026. An email costs 1 credit and a phone 5 (Lusha API docs, September 2026). The MCP server has 50 tools and shares the API credit pool (Lusha MCP docs, September 2026).
LATAM coverage test. Lusha Free gives 40 credits a month, so you can look up 25 LATAM contacts and read the hit rate yourself. The Prospecting API takes a countries filter and returns previews with a per-result charge (Lusha prospecting docs, September 2026). Search through the API is capped at 100 requests a day on Free.
Pros
- The largest published counts for Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Peru, with companies shown separately.
- Every plan includes an API key, Free included.
- MCP server with 50 tools.
Cons
- Credits end at a small plan: Premium tops out at 10,000 a month.
- No public 1M price, and Scale is custom.
- No published split of email and phone for any LATAM country.
Best for: teams that want the widest LATAM contact table and work in small batches.
Pricing: Free $0 for 40 credits a month. Starter $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly). Pro $69.90 ($52.45). Premium $399.90 ($299.95) (Lusha pricing, September 2026).
3. ZoomInfo: best for published mobile counts by country
ZoomInfo prints South America as 2.6M+ companies, 28.7M+ contacts and 2.3M+ mobile numbers. Its data page map adds country rows: Brazil at 15.5M contacts and 1.3M mobiles, Mexico at 5.9M and 617K (ZoomInfo data page, October 2026). Mobiles are about 8% of its South American contacts.
Its pay-as-you-go product, GTM AI, sells data credits from $20. A credit costs $0.45 at 100 credits and $0.25 at 100,000. Search and lookup are free, and a record is charged once per 12 months (GTM AI pricing, September 2026; GTM AI docs, September 2026).
LATAM coverage test. GTM AI Free includes 1,000 data credits, no card. Because search is free, run your Mexican, Colombian and Chilean filters first and spend credits only on rows you keep. ZoomInfo has an official MCP server that works with Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor (GTM AI docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Published country figures for contacts, mobiles and companies.
- Free search, with a record charged once a year.
- Official MCP server and a free tier with API access.
Cons
- Its country contact counts are about half of Lusha's, for example 5.9M against 11.2M+ in Mexico.
- The public slider stops at 100,000 credits, so 1M is an Enterprise talk.
- Platform plan prices are not public in our read.
Best for: teams that need LATAM mobile numbers and accept a sales call at volume.
Pricing: GTM AI pay as you go from $20, with 1,000 free data credits at signup (GTM AI pricing, September 2026). Platform plans are quoted by sales (ZoomInfo, July 2026).
4. Apollo: best for reps who also need sequences and a dialer

Apollo prints no LATAM figure. Its search page says to sign up and search by region to see the accounts and contacts in your market (Apollo, September 2026). You can measure LATAM yourself, because the people search API costs 0 credits and returns a total_entries count (Apollo API docs, September 2026).
Filter with person_locations[], which takes cities and countries. The search shows at most 50,000 records, 100 a page, so count one country at a time. An email costs 1 credit and a phone 8, and credits are per seat (Apollo API pricing, September 2026).
LATAM coverage test. Apollo Free gives 75 credits a month and an API key. Search Mexico, Colombia and Argentina by country, read total_entries, then spend credits on your own 25 contacts. The MCP server is at mcp.apollo.io and works on any plan (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Free, countable search with
person_locations[]. - Sequences, dialer and rep workspace in one product.
- Official MCP server on every plan, Free included.
Cons
- No published LATAM figure, so the first number comes from your own test.
- A phone costs 8 credits, and 1M emails needs about 250 seats.
- Credits expire each billing cycle and do not roll over.
Best for: sales reps who want LATAM search and outreach in one workspace.
Pricing: Basic $65 per seat a month ($49 billed yearly), Professional $99 ($79), Organization $149 ($119, three seats minimum) (Apollo pricing, September 2026).
5. People Data Labs: best for licensed datasets with country counts

People Data Labs (PDL) publishes a table of records by country for its resume dataset. Brazil has 58,865,020, the third largest after the United States and India. Mexico has 17,077,452, Colombia 11,208,215, Argentina 10,887,613, Peru 7,288,328 and Chile 6,659,434 (PDL country stats, September 2026). PDL warns that the table has duplicates.
Its company table lists 2,669,759 companies headquartered in Brazil and 559,795 in Mexico (PDL company stats, September 2026). These are profiles, not mailable contacts. Globally, 592,376,573 of 2,466,510,427 profiles carry an email, about 24% (PDL dataset stats, September 2026).
LATAM coverage test. PDL Free gives up to 100 credits a month, but contact data is obscured. Use it to test match rate on your 25 contacts, not emails. Person Search allows 10 requests a minute, and each record returned is one credit (PDL usage limits, September 2026).
Pros
- A country count for every large LATAM market, for people and companies.
- Dataset licences for your own warehouse.
- Enrichment allows 1,000 calls a minute on paid plans.
Cons
- The country count is profiles, with duplicates, not contacts with emails.
- No official MCP server in its docs index (PDL docs, September 2026).
- Above 100,000 records you go to an Enterprise quote.
Best for: teams that license Latin American profiles into a warehouse and find emails elsewhere.
Pricing: Free up to 100 credits a month. Pro from $98 a month for 350 credits, or $78 a month billed yearly (PDL pricing, September 2026).
6. Speedio: best for Brazilian company lists bought in reais
Speedio covers Brazil only, and it ranks last for that reason. It is a Brazilian prospecting platform, and its home page claims 25M+ active companies in Brazil, 17M+ decision-makers mapped, 20M+ phones and 17M+ emails in the tool (Speedio, September 2026). These are its own claims. For a deeper Brazil comparison, read best B2B data providers for Brazil.
You buy exports of companies, not credits per email. The plans are 300 companies a month for 1 user, 500 for 2 users and 1,000 for 3 users, with unused exports lost at month end. Once the monthly allowance is spent, access is blocked until the next month rather than billed as overage (Speedio plans, September 2026).
LATAM coverage test. Brazil is the only country to test. Each plan has queries and exports. Queries let you check companies in the search tab before you export, so run your 25 target accounts through queries first. Speedio says its sources refresh every quarter, and a few only once a year.
Pros
- Built for Brazil, with the company counts printed on the home page.
- Prices in reais, from R$719 a month.
- A hard stop at the allowance, with no overage invoice.
Cons
- No Spanish-speaking country, so it covers Brazil and nothing else in LATAM.
- The top public plan is 1,000 companies a month, so volume work needs a custom plan.
- We found no API or MCP server on its home or plans pages.
- Data refreshes quarterly at best.
Best for: Brazilian sales teams that prospect company lists through a web app and pay in reais.
Pricing: From R$719 a month for 300 companies. R$1,079 for 500 and R$1,379 for 1,000. Custom plans on request (Speedio plans, September 2026).

How to choose
- You pull LATAM through an API or an agent: pick LeadOcean. A free count by country, email status filters and a flat $497 a month on Agency fit volume work.
- You want the widest contact table for Mexico and the Andes: pick Lusha, then test your own 25 contacts for email hits.
- You need mobile numbers across LATAM: pick ZoomInfo, the only one here that prints mobile counts by country.
- Your reps need a workspace and LATAM is one region: pick Apollo, and read
total_entriesfor each country first. - You license profiles into a warehouse: pick People Data Labs and find emails with another source.
- You sell only into Brazilian companies and pay in reais: pick Speedio, and check its quarterly refresh against your list.
Verdict
LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers, because it gives a free, exact LATAM count by country with email and phone filters, at $497 a month flat on Agency. Its LATAM base leans toward large employers and is thin on phones, so small-company lists are a weaker fit. Lusha wins on the widest published country table, ZoomInfo on published mobile counts, and Apollo for reps who want search and outreach in one workspace. People Data Labs wins for licensed profiles, and Speedio for Brazil alone. Run the 25-contact test before you pay anyone, LeadOcean included.
FAQ
Which provider has the most LATAM contacts?
Lusha prints the largest figures: 62.3M+ for South America and 11.2M+ for Mexico (Lusha, October 2026). Our own count is 73,792,911 people in LATAM on 2026-10-01, across all email statuses. PDL lists 58,865,020 profiles for Brazil alone, but that table has duplicates. Each vendor defines a contact and a region its own way, so compare only after a test.
How many LATAM contacts have an email you can send to?
On 2026-10-01 our count was 5,984,947 people in LATAM with a verified or catch-all email. That is the mailable count. People with an email of any status number 19,636,354. Brazil holds 2,896,383 of the mailable people and Mexico 973,394.
Which provider covers Mexico best?
Lusha prints 11.2M+ contacts for Mexico, and PDL lists 17,077,452 profiles with duplicates. Our count is 10,947,122 people in Mexico, of whom 973,394 are mailable. ZoomInfo prints 5.9M contacts and 617K mobiles for Mexico.
Are LATAM phone numbers as available as email?
No. We count 1,474,464 people with a phone in LATAM, against 19,636,354 with an email of any status. ZoomInfo lists 2.3M+ mobiles for all of South America (ZoomInfo, October 2026). A phone also costs more: 5 credits at Lusha and 8 at Apollo.
Can I size a Latin American audience for free?
Yes, on three of them. LeadOcean's count_leads and count=true search spend no records. Apollo's people search costs 0 credits. ZoomInfo's GTM AI search is free. PDL charges one credit per record returned.
How do I test LATAM coverage before I buy?
Run 25 contacts you sell to in LATAM through each free tier, with titles in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Count work emails and phones returned. Lusha, Apollo, ZoomInfo and LeadOcean all have a free allowance, so you can compare them on the same day.
Count your Latin American audience free, then pull it by API or agent.
Free to start. No credit card. 1,000 records to spend whenever you like.
