An Oceania B2B database sells business contacts and company records for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Sales teams, agencies and recruiters buy one when LinkedIn and manual research stop scaling. The catch is that vendors publish a global total, and a few publish Australia and New Zealand. None we read publishes a count for Papua New Guinea, Fiji or any other island market.
This page ranks seven databases on one question: what do they hold in Oceania, and what does it cost at volume? LeadOcean's numbers come from free counts we ran on 21 October 2026. Every other number is the vendor's claim, with its source and the month we read it. Read our pages on ZoomInfo, Apollo, Lusha, Cognism and Lead411. See also best B2B databases, the UK list, best B2B data providers and LeadOcean pricing.
TL;DR
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Cost at 1M records a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeadOcean | API, agent and volume pulls, and the only Pacific Islands count | Free (1,000 records for life). Solo $97 a month, Agency $497 | $497 a month on Agency. Fair-use pace applies |
| ZoomInfo | The largest published Australia and New Zealand total | GTM AI: 1,000 free data credits, then $0.45 to $0.25 a credit | No public 1M price. The credit slider stops at 100,000 credits for $25,000 |
| Firmable | Australian sales teams that want local company registers | Individual US$55 a user a month, billed yearly | No public 1M price. Enterprise credits are custom |
| Lusha | Small batches with email and phone in one lookup | Starter $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly) | No public 1M price. Top public tier is 10,000 credits for $977.40 a month |
| Apollo | Reps who want a workspace with state filters | Basic $65 a seat a month ($49 billed yearly) | $24,750 a month on monthly billing, or $19,600 billed yearly, as seats at list price |
| Cognism | Sales-led teams adding APAC contacts | No public price | No public 1M price |
| Lead411 | Small teams with Australia and New Zealand on a short country list | Spark $49 a month ($490 billed yearly) | No public 1M price |
"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, at list price. Where a vendor prints no 1M price, we say so and do not multiply a rate.
What we evaluated
- Published Oceania figures: a count for Australia, New Zealand or the Pacific Islands, a wider regional count, or nothing. Vendors count by different rules, so totals do not compare cleanly.
- A free test you can run: whether you can check coverage on a free plan or trial before you pay.
- Pacific Islands coverage: whether the vendor names Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Samoa or any island market at all.
- API and MCP: which plans include a REST API and an MCP server, since agents now pull lists.
- Price at volume: list price per month and the cost of 1M records.
We counted Oceania records only in LeadOcean. Treat every other figure as a vendor claim until you run your own test.
1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume pulls
LeadOcean holds 693M people and 67M companies. A free count with continent set to Oceania, run through count_leads on 21 October 2026, matched 13,272,635 people across all email statuses. Of those, 2,229,404 carry a verified, catch-all valid or catch-all email. Size a campaign on the second figure, not the first.
Australia is 1,872,274 of the mailable people and New Zealand 320,690. The Pacific Islands are small. Papua New Guinea has 14,065 and Fiji 8,447. Nine island and territory markets (PG, FJ, GU, NC, PF, WS, VU, SB, TO) hold 33,499 mailable people at 5,104 employers. With any email status they hold 399,579.
| What we filtered | People |
|---|---|
| Continent Oceania, any email status | 13,272,635 |
| Continent Oceania, verified, catch-all valid or catch-all email | 2,229,404 |
| Australia, same email filter | 1,872,274 |
| New Zealand, same email filter | 320,690 |
| Papua New Guinea, same email filter | 14,065 |
| Fiji, same email filter | 8,447 |
You can repeat the test. A count is free, and a search with count=true and limit 1 costs nothing. The REST total stops at 100,000, so use the MCP leadocean_count_leads tool for an exact figure. leadocean_count_companies sizes the company list for free.
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/search?count=true" \
-H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"country":["PG","FJ"],"jobLevel":["C-Team"],"limit":1}'Pros
- Free counts on every plan, so you size an Oceania list before you spend a record.
- The only vendor here with a counted Pacific Islands figure.
- REST and MCP on every plan, including Free, with 13 MCP tools.
- Agency is $497 a month flat for 1M enrichments a day, with no credit meter.
Cons
- No rep workspace, sequencer, dialer, CRM or Chrome extension. The app has an Exports page with a filter builder.
- About 17% of Oceania records carry a mailable email, so read
email_statusbefore you send. - The Pacific Islands are thin. Expect thousands of people per island market, not hundreds of thousands.
Best for: engineers, RevOps teams and agents that pull Oceania lists at volume.
Pricing: Free is 1,000 records for life, no card. Solo is $97 a month, Agency $497 and Platform $1,997 (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).
2. ZoomInfo: best for the largest published ANZ total
ZoomInfo's data page lists Australia & NZ at 12.7M+ contacts, 4.1M+ mobiles and 2.2M+ companies (ZoomInfo data, October 2026). It gives no counting basis and no split between the two countries. It names no Pacific Island market.
ZoomInfo's API and MCP now sit behind GTM AI, which sells data credits. List price runs from $0.45 a credit down to $0.25 at 100,000 credits for $25,000, and larger volumes are an Enterprise quote (GTM AI pricing, September 2026). The free plan allows 5 requests a second (ZoomInfo rate limits, September 2026).
Oceania test: search and lookup are free on GTM AI, and the free plan includes 1,000 data credits with no card (ZoomInfo credit docs, September 2026). Search for 20 accounts in Sydney, Auckland and Port Moresby, then spend credits only on the contacts you need.

Best for: sales teams that want one suite and the biggest stated Australia and New Zealand total.
Pricing: GTM AI credits from $0.45 to $0.25. 1,000 data credits free (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).
3. Firmable: best for Australian sales teams that want local registers
Firmable is an APAC-focused sales platform. Its database page claims 135m+ people and 15m+ companies worldwide (Firmable, September 2026). Its ZoomInfo comparison page claims 25m+ contacts and 3m+ companies across seven APAC markets, among them Australia and New Zealand (Firmable, September 2026).
Those are Firmable's own claims, and there is no Oceania-only count. The seven named markets include no Pacific Island. Plans bill per user, with included profiles each year. One profile, company or person, costs one credit and returns the email and mobile together (Firmable pricing, September 2026).
Oceania test: the free trial lasts 14 days and includes 25 profiles (Firmable pricing, October 2026). Filter to Australia and New Zealand, run your 20 accounts, and count how many return a mobile.
Pros

- One credit per profile covers the email and mobile together.
- MCP access from the Small Teams plan.
Cons
- API access is an Enterprise feature, so small teams cannot call it from code.

- No Pacific Islands, no country-level count and no public 1M price.
Best for: Australian and New Zealand sales teams that want local registers and a rep workspace.
Pricing: Per user a month, billed yearly: Individual US$55, Small Teams US$75, Teams Pro US$110 and Enterprise US$170 (Firmable pricing, October 2026).

Lusha says its coverage is stronger in English-speaking markets, and that phone coverage varies by country (Lusha knowledge hub, September 2026). An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 5. Every plan, including Free, has an API key (Lusha API guide, September 2026).
Oceania test: Free is 40 credits a month with no card (Lusha pricing, September 2026). That covers 40 emails or 8 phone numbers, enough for your 20 accounts.

- A free plan with an API key.

5. Apollo: best for reps who want a workspace with state filters

Apollo publishes no Oceania count. Its Australia page says you can segment by state, industry and company size (Apollo Australia, September 2026). The pricing page states 240 million contacts and 30 million companies in total (Apollo pricing, September 2026).
Apollo bills per seat with a pooled credit allowance. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 8, and credits expire each cycle (Apollo API pricing, September 2026). Enrichment endpoints allow 1,000 requests a minute on paid plans (Apollo rate limits, September 2026).
Oceania test: the Free plan has 75 credits a month on monthly billing (Apollo pricing, September 2026). People search costs no credits, so filter by country and compare the totals with the other tools on the same day.
Pros
- Filters by Australian state, industry and company size.
- API access on every plan and an MCP server on any plan, including Free (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).
- Sequences, a dialer and a Chrome extension in the same workspace.
Cons
- No published Oceania or region count.
- Phones cost 8 credits, and unused credits expire each billing cycle.
- At 1M work emails the seat arithmetic reaches $19,600 to $24,750 a month at list price.
Best for: reps who want data, sequences and a dialer in one tool.
Pricing: Basic is $65 a seat a month, or $49 billed yearly. Professional is $99, or $79 billed yearly (Apollo pricing, September 2026).
6. Cognism: best for sales-led teams adding APAC contacts

- Count and search routes in the API.
Cons

- One credit per revealed contact, with no public credit price.
Best for: sales-led teams that already buy Cognism for Europe and want to test APAC.
Pricing: No public price. Quote only (Cognism pricing, September 2026).
7. Lead411: best for small teams with Australia and New Zealand on a short list

Spark is $49 a month for 1,000 exports, with no API and no direct phone numbers. Ignite starts at $150 a month and adds both (Lead411 pricing, September 2026). The API publishes no rate limit number, and MCP access is for approved customers (Lead411 API docs, September 2026).

- Papua New Guinea, Fiji or other islands: LeadOcean is the only one here with a counted figure. Expect thousands of people, not millions.
- The biggest stated Australia and New Zealand total: ZoomInfo, with the caveat that it covers two countries.
- Local registers and a rep workspace: Firmable.
- Email and phone lookups in small batches: Lusha.
- State filters inside a sales tool: Apollo.
- Already on Cognism for Europe: ask for the 25 free APAC leads before you extend.
- A small team with Australia and New Zealand as two markets: Lead411, from $49 a month.
Verdict
For API, agent and volume buyers, LeadOcean wins. It counted 13.3M Oceania people, 2.2M of them mailable, and it is the only one with a Pacific Islands figure. Agency is $497 a month flat. ZoomInfo has the largest stated Australia and New Zealand total, and Lusha suits small batches. Firmable wins for reps who want local registers and a workspace. Apollo suits reps who want one tool, Cognism suits sales-led APAC buyers and Lead411 suits small teams. Run your own 20-account test on two of them before you buy.
