Best B2B databases for Taiwan

6 Best B2B Databases for Taiwan in 2026 (Semiconductor Hub and Beyond)

Six databases ranked on one question, how many reachable people they hold in Taiwan and in its chip industry, with a free count you can rerun yourself.

Get your free API key →Free to start. No credit card. 1,000 records to spend whenever you like.

A B2B database for Taiwan is a searchable set of business contacts at Taiwanese companies, deep enough to build a list or feed an API. Chip suppliers, equipment makers, EDA vendors, recruiters and agencies who sell into Hsinchu, Taipei and Taichung need one. Most vendors print a worldwide total and no Taiwan figure.

So this page ranks on coverage. Only two vendors, People Data Labs and ZoomInfo, print a Taiwan number. We ran free counts on LeadOcean on 2026-10-21, including a semiconductor cut, and you can rerun them on the free plan.

Read each rival on its own page: Apollo, Lusha, ZoomInfo, People Data Labs and Coresignal. Compare other markets in Asia-Pacific and the UK.

What we evaluated

  • Taiwan coverage: a figure for the country, or a way to get one for free.
  • Semiconductor depth: whether you can cut by chip and electronics industries, seniority and employer.
  • Mailable depth: whether a count means people with a usable email or only profiles.
  • API and MCP: whether a script or an agent can pull the records directly.
  • Price at volume: flat, credits, seats or quote, and the cost of 1M records.

We ran counts on LeadOcean only. We ran no query on the rivals, so we print no hit rates for them. Vendor figures are vendor claims, and each vendor counts a "contact" its own way.

1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers

LeadOcean holds 693M people and 67M companies. It has a country filter with 254 codes, an industry filter with 534 values and a free count_leads tool. We ran it on 2026-10-21, which spends no records. The default count is mailable: people whose best email is verified, catch-all valid or catch-all. The second column drops that filter.

Taiwan cut (country TW)People, any email statusMailable
All industries993,473184,639
Semiconductor Manufacturing and Semiconductors70,18130,433
Same, director, VP or C-suite4,9712,569

The 184,639 mailable people span 17,602 employers. The chip cut spans 664 employers, and the senior cut 352. Semiconductor Manufacturing is the largest industry in the Taiwan count, with 27,094 mailable people. Mailable is about 19% of Taiwan profiles, and about 43% in chips. Do not read the first column as a send list. 47,943 people in Taiwan have a phone number, counted with hasPhone and no email filter.

The companies side is thinner than the people side. leadocean_count_companies counted 20,387 companies headquartered in Taiwan, 440 of them filed under the two chip industries. Many suppliers file under electronics or machinery, so cut by companyKeywords too.

The REST call below sizes the senior chip audience for free, with count=true as a query parameter.

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/search?count=true&limit=1" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"country": ["TW"], "industry": ["Semiconductor Manufacturing", "Semiconductors"], "seniority": ["c_suite", "vp", "director"], "hasEmail": true}'

That count is people with an email of any status, not a mailable count. Add emailStatus to narrow it. Over REST, meta.total stops at 100,000, so use narrow filters or the MCP leadocean_count_leads tool for exact totals. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp has 13 tools and signs in with OAuth 2.1. One search pages to 10,000 rows, so split a big pull by city, employer or seniority.

Pros

  • A free, exact mailable count for Taiwan, with industry, seniority and phone filters.
  • Agency is $497 a month flat, with 200 requests a second, 5 keys and no credit meter.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, Free included.
  • meta.distinctCompanies shows how many employers a list spans.

Cons

  • PDL prints a larger Taiwan profile count (1,609,402 against 993,473).
  • ZoomInfo prints a Taiwan mobile figure; LeadOcean has 47,943 people with a phone.
  • Company records are fewer than PDL's: 20,387 against 34,609.
  • No rep workspace, sequencer, dialer or CRM.

Best for: engineers, agencies and agents that sell into Taiwan's chip industry at volume and want a fixed bill.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records for life, no card. Solo is $97 a month, Agency $497 and Platform $1,997 (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).

2. People Data Labs: best for the largest published Taiwan counts

people-data-labs homepage

PDL prints the biggest Taiwan numbers we found. Its location aggregations list 1,609,402 profiles in Taiwan (PDL docs, October 2026). Its company table lists 34,609 Taiwanese companies (PDL company docs, October 2026).

Those are profiles, not mailable people, and PDL does not split them by email or by industry on those pages. Read them as an upper bound on reach, not a list size.

Coverage test. PDL Free gives up to 100 credits a month, with emails, phones and addresses obscured (PDL pricing, September 2026). You can test whether 25 Hsinchu engineers you know exist, but not whether their email works. Pro starts at $98 a month for 350 credits.

Pros

  • Country and company counts printed for Taiwan.
  • Enrichment runs at 1,000 requests a minute on paid plans (PDL docs, September 2026).
  • Unbilled misses: a 404 costs nothing.

Cons

  • No official MCP server. Only community ones exist (PDL llms.txt, September 2026).
  • Person search defaults to 10 requests a minute.
  • Self-serve stops near 100,000 profiles, and 1M has no public price.
  • The free tier hides contact data.

Best for: data teams that load profiles into a warehouse and judge the market by size.

Pricing: Free $0 for 100 credits a month. Pro from $98 a month for 350 credits, $0.28 a credit (PDL pricing, September 2026).

3. ZoomInfo: best for a published Taiwan contact and mobile count

ZoomInfo's data page has a country map. It lists Taiwan at 690K contacts, 129K mobile numbers and 45K companies (ZoomInfo data page, October 2026). The country rows add up to the continent cards on the same page, so the three map fields are contacts, mobiles and companies. Asia as a whole is 4.8M+ companies, 68.3M+ contacts and 12.9M+ mobile numbers.

The GTM AI side sells data credits pay as you go from $20, from $0.45 each at 100 credits down to $0.25 at 100,000 (GTM AI pricing, September 2026). A record is charged once per 12 months. Search is free. The official MCP server needs a GTM AI account or a ZoomInfo subscription with data credits (GTM AI MCP docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • A Taiwan row with a mobile figure, which few rivals print.
  • Free search and 1,000 free data credits at signup.
  • Official MCP server.

Cons

  • No chip or electronics split on the public page.
  • The public slider stops at 100,000 credits for $25,000.
  • Builder API limits are 5 requests a second (GTM AI rate limits, September 2026).
  • Enterprise pricing is quote only.

Best for: teams that already run ZoomInfo and want Taiwan in the same login.

Pricing: pay as you go from $20; Free gives 1,000 data credits (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).

4. Apollo: best for reps who want a database plus sequences

apollo homepage

Apollo is a database and a sales workspace in one seat. Its public pages print no Taiwan count. You find out by filtering by location and industry inside the free app and reading the result.

Every plan includes API access. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 8 (Apollo API pricing, September 2026). Credits pool across the team and expire at the end of each cycle. Apollo runs an official MCP server at mcp.apollo.io/mcp on any plan, Free included (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).

For Taiwan the catch is phones. A mobile costs 8 credits, so a phone pull costs eight times an email pull. Add-on credits have no published price.

Pros

  • Database, sequencer and dialer in one product.
  • Official MCP server on every plan.
  • Enrichment allows 1,000 requests a minute on paid plans (Apollo rate limits, September 2026).

Cons

  • No published country counts.
  • Credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
  • Phones cost 8 credits each.
  • 1M records means hundreds of seats.

Best for: sales reps who want to find, sequence and call from one screen.

Pricing: Free $0 for 75 credits a month. Basic $65 per seat a month, $49 billed yearly, with Professional at $99 ($79) and Organization at $149 ($119) (Apollo pricing, September 2026).

5. Lusha: best for small batches with email and phone

lusha homepage

Lusha sells email and phone in one lookup, which suits a rep working a short list of fabs and suppliers. Its data page prints worldwide totals only, with no Taiwan figure (Lusha data page, October 2026).

An email costs 1 credit and a phone 5. Email plus phone is 7 credits through a single API request (Lusha API guide, September 2026). The MCP server at mcp.lusha.com has 50 tools and shares the API credit pool (Lusha MCP docs, September 2026).

Coverage test. Lusha Free gives 40 credits a month and an API key on every plan. Look up your 25 Taiwan targets, read the hit rate for email and phone, and stop there. Free and Starter keys allow 100 requests a day.

Pros

  • Email, phone and company data in one lookup.
  • An API key on every plan, Free included.
  • Official MCP server.

Cons

  • No Taiwan count.
  • Free and Starter keys cap at 100 requests a day.
  • Credits are small: Starter is 400 a month.
  • 1M records has no public price.

Best for: reps who need a few hundred verified contacts with phones.

Pricing: Free $0 for 40 credits a month. Starter $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly) for 400 credits. Pro $69.90 ($52.45) for 600 (Lusha pricing, September 2026).

6. Coresignal: best for bulk employee and company records

coresignal homepage

Coresignal is a data feed first. Its homepage claims 907M+ employee records and 70M+ company records, worldwide, with no Taiwan split (Coresignal, September 2026). Email sits in the multi-source employee record, and we found no phone field in its data dictionaries.

Pricing is credits. A base employee or company record costs 10 credits, a multi-source record 20, and contact enrichment 20 (Coresignal pricing docs, September 2026). The MCP server at mcp.coresignal.com/mcp/v2 has 5 tools and uses OAuth 2.1 (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026).

  • Low tiers are slow: 5 requests a second on Free, Mini and Starter (Coresignal rate limits, September 2026).
  • 1M work emails is 20,000,000 credits, above any single public plan.

Best for: engineers who want raw employee and company records and run their own matching.

Pricing: Mini $49 a month for 2,500 credits, Starter $199 for 12,000, Pro $499 for 35,000 (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
