6 Best Enrichment Tools for Zoho CRM in 2026 (Compared)

Zoho's own Zia, three marketplace and Zapier routes, and two APIs, compared on field mapping, dedupe and what 10k and 1M records cost.

Zoho CRM enrichment fills blank fields on leads, contacts and accounts, such as work email, phone, title and company size, from an outside data source. Zoho admins with thin web forms need it, and so do RevOps engineers with a backlog of half-empty contacts.

Most people leave Zoho's built-in Zia for the same reasons. Zia reads public web pages only, skips non-English sites and is offered in four regions (October 2026). It runs one record at a time from the create or edit page. If you need volume, you need an API or a marketplace app.

This page ranks six routes, with list prices checked in September and October 2026. We link a full comparison where we have one: Apollo, Lusha and Hunter. For other CRMs read the best CRM enrichment tools, the CRM enrichment use case and the Zoho CRM how-to.

"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, at list price. 10k means 10,000 of the same lookups.

What we evaluated

  • How it reaches Zoho: a built-in feature, a Marketplace extension, a Zapier route or your own API calls.
  • Field mapping: which Zoho fields it fills, and whether it overwrites values your team typed.
  • Dedupe: how a new row avoids duplicating a lead or contact you already hold.
  • Cost per 10k and 1M records: the list price, with seats and credits worked out.
  • API and MCP: the endpoints, the rate limit and whether an agent can call it.

We ran no match-rate test, so we quote no find rates. Every fact below comes from a vendor or Zoho page, linked beside it.

1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers

LeadOcean is a data API with a hosted MCP server, holding 693M people and 67M companies. It has no Zoho app and no Chrome extension. You call it from a script, a Zapier, Make or n8n flow or an agent, and write the answer into Zoho yourself.

POST /v1/people/enrich takes exactly one of linkedin_url, email, phone or person_id, so the Zoho email is your key. A miss is a 404 and costs nothing. Each result carries an email_status with 13 values, so you write back only the addresses you trust. GET /v1/companies/count sizes an account list for free before you spend a record.

The recipe is three calls. First, a Zoho COQL query for contacts with no title. Second, one LeadOcean enrich per email. Third, a Zoho upsert that writes back up to 100 rows. Placeholder values only.

bash
curl -s -X POST "$ZOHO_API/crm/v8/coql" \
  -H "Authorization: Zoho-oauthtoken $ZOHO_TOKEN" \
-d '{"select_query": "select id, Email, Title, Phone from Contacts where (Email is not null and Title is null) limit 100"}'

curl -s -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/enrich" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"email": "jane@acme.com"}'

curl -s -X POST "$ZOHO_API/crm/v8/Contacts/upsert" \
  -H "Authorization: Zoho-oauthtoken $ZOHO_TOKEN" \
  -d '{"data": [{"Email": "jane@acme.com", "Title": "Head of Sales"}], "duplicate_check_fields": ["Email"]}'

Map contact_current_experiences[0].job_title to Title and contact_phones[0].phone to Phone. Zoho's upsert takes a duplicate_check_fields array, so a row matches on Email instead of creating a second contact. A call handles at most 100 records (Zoho upsert docs, October 2026). Insert, update and upsert cost 1 Zoho API credit per 10 records (Zoho API limits, October 2026). So 10k writes cost 1,000 Zoho credits. The full script is in the Zoho CRM how-to.

Pros

  • No credit meter and no seats. Agency is $497 a month and Solo is $97, each with a fair-use pace.
  • 10k enrichments fit inside one Solo window, which allows 10k every 5 hours.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, Free included. The server has 13 tools.
  • A 404 on the v1 enrich endpoints is free, and company counts are free.
  • Bulk CSV export on Solo and up, for importing net-new contacts.

Cons

  • No Zoho extension, no widget in the record page and no scheduled sync. You run the loop.
  • No name plus domain lookup. You need an email, a LinkedIn URL, a phone or a person_id.
  • Rate limits are 5 requests a second on Free, 50 on Solo and 200 on Agency.
  • A v2 contact call that finds nothing still costs one record.

Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that enrich Zoho in code and want a predictable bill.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Solo is $97 a month and Agency is $497 a month (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).

2. Zoho Zia: best for admins who want one-click enrichment

Zia Data Enrichment is built into Zoho CRM and is available on all paid editions (Zoho help, October 2026). You switch it on under Setup, Zia, Data Enrichment. Each of Leads, Contacts and Accounts gets one configuration.

Zia starts from a primary field: Company, Email or Website. It crawls public websites and follows robots.txt. It can fill Designation, Phone, Mobile, social profiles, address fields and Industry (Zoho FAQ, October 2026).

Field mapping is the best part. Enrichment fields map to Zoho fields by default, you can point them at custom fields, and you can choose "do not map" for any field. On a record, boxes are ticked only for empty fields. You choose whether to overwrite a value that already exists. Zoho's enrichment history logs who enriched what, and it cannot be exported.

Pros

  • No second vendor, no key and no extra contract.
  • Per-field mapping and a clear overwrite choice.
  • A history tab separates Zia edits from manual edits.

Cons

  • Public web pages only, and no non-English sites. It is limited to users in Europe, Australia, the US and India.
  • The help article describes enrichment from the create or edit page, one record at a time.
  • It is in-product only, so there is no API to call from a script.
  • The monthly enrichment limit is set by edition, and the help article shows usage against it.

Best for: Zoho admins who want blank fields filled on a few hundred records without a new vendor.

Pricing: Included in paid Zoho CRM editions, with no separate price in the help article (Zoho help, October 2026).

3. Lusha: best for reps who want a Zoho extension and browser reveals

lusha homepage

Lusha has its own Zoho CRM extension on the Zoho Marketplace. The listing promises enriched records, auto-mapped fields and automated sync into Zoho. It lists support for Standard, Professional, Enterprise, CRM Plus, Zoho One and Ultimate (Zoho Marketplace, October 2026).

The extension is listed as free. The data runs on Lusha credits. An email costs 1 credit, a phone 5 and company info 1. One API request for email and phone is 7 credits (Lusha API docs, September 2026).

Every plan, Free included, gets an API key, and the MCP server has 50 tools that share the credit pool (Lusha MCP docs, September 2026). Limits are per key. Free and Starter get 40 requests a minute and 100 a day.

Pros

  • A first-party Zoho extension, so reps work inside Zoho.
  • An API key on every plan, plus a 50-tool MCP server.
  • Waterfall enrichment on all paid plans, charged on a match only.

Cons

  • A phone costs 5 credits, or 7 with the email in one API request.
  • Low caps on small plans: 100 requests a day on Free and Starter.
  • Priced in credits and seats, with no public 1M price.
  • The extension page does not say how it dedupes against existing Zoho rows.

Best for: sales reps who want reveals in the browser and records in Zoho.

Pricing: Free is 40 credits a month. Starter is $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly). Pro is $69.90 ($52.45). Premium is $399.90 ($299.95) (Lusha pricing, September 2026). 10,000 credits a month on Premium is $977.40 billed monthly, the top public tier.

4. Hunter: best for email-led lead capture into Zoho Leads

Hunter lists a Zoho CRM integration. It creates Zoho Leads when you save a lead in Hunter (Hunter integrations, October 2026). It is a lead capture route. The page does not describe filling fields on contacts you already hold.

Hunter finds and verifies emails. Email Finder and Domain Search cost 1 credit per email found, and the Verifier costs 0.5 credit. API enrichment endpoints use 0.2 credit per enriched email or domain on all-in-one plans. Nothing is charged if nothing is found (Hunter help, September 2026).

Rate limits are per endpoint: 15 requests a second on Email Finder, Domain Search and the enrichment endpoints (Hunter API docs, September 2026). A remote MCP server is included on all plans (Hunter MCP, September 2026).

Pros

  • A direct Zoho CRM integration, with no Zapier step.
  • The lowest 1M price among the credit-priced tools here: $6,900 on Data Platform.
  • Credit is not charged when nothing is found.
  • MCP server on every plan.

Cons

  • Focused on emails. Titles, phones and company size are not its strength.
  • The Zoho route creates Leads. It does not enrich existing Contacts, as far as the page says.
  • Data Platform is API and bulk only, and its credits are valid 12 months.
  • A rate-limited call returns 403, not 429.

Best for: teams that capture leads by domain and want verified emails landing in Zoho.

Pricing: Starter is $49 a month for 2,000 credits ($34 billed yearly). Growth is $149 ($104). Scale is $299 ($209) (Hunter pricing, September 2026). 10,000 Search credits on Data Platform cost $209, and 1,000,000 cost $6,900 (Hunter Data Platform, September 2026).

5. Apollo: best for teams that want a prospecting app and connect Zoho through Zapier

apollo homepage

Apollo is a sales platform with a contact database, sequences, a dialer and a Chrome extension. We found no Apollo extension in the Zoho Marketplace pages we read. Zapier lists an Apollo and Zoho CRM integration, so the route is a Zap or your own API calls (Zapier, October 2026).

An email costs 1 credit and a phone number costs 8. People enrichment by API is 1 to 9 credits (Apollo API pricing, September 2026). Credits are pooled across the team and expire each cycle.

Every plan includes API access. Enrichment endpoints allow 1,000 requests a minute on paid plans (Apollo rate limits, September 2026). The official MCP server works on any plan (Apollo docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • A large database plus outreach in one app.
  • API and MCP on every plan, Free included.
  • 1,000 enrichment requests a minute on paid plans.

Cons

  • Priced per seat, so headcount moves the bill. 10k email lookups need 4 Basic seats at $65, which is $260 a month.
  • Credits expire each cycle, and a phone costs 8.
  • No public price per extra credit.
  • Zoho sync is a Zap you build and maintain.

Best for: sales teams that want data and outreach in one app and are happy to wire Zoho with Zapier.

Pricing: Basic $65 per seat a month ($49 billed yearly). Professional $99 ($79). Organization $149 ($119), three seats minimum (Apollo pricing, September 2026).

6. WebAmigo: best for person profiles inside Zoho

WebAmigo is a Zoho Marketplace extension for lead enrichment, with 2.4K+ installs and version 3.2 released in July 2026 (Zoho Marketplace, October 2026). Zoho's own help article names it as the home of people data enrichment.

It can start from first or last name plus organization, website, email, LinkedIn, X or Facebook. It returns phone, social links, designation, skills, industry, experience in years and education (Zoho help, October 2026). That is a richer person profile than Zia's company-led fields.

You create enrichments per module, associate trigger fields, then associate target fields. Automatic enrichment can be switched on. If you used Zoho's old in-CRM people enrichment, you migrate that data into the extension first.

Pros

  • Person fields Zia lacks, such as skills and education.
  • Enrichment rules per module, with automatic enrichment.
  • Listed as free on the Marketplace, and it works on Standard and up.

Cons

  • The data source and per-record price are not on the listing.
  • No API or MCP is documented in the pages we read.
  • Only 5 ratings on the listing.

Best for: Zoho teams that want richer person profiles inside the CRM, one record at a time or automatically.

Pricing: The listing says Free and publishes no per-record data price (Zoho Marketplace, October 2026).

How to choose

  • Code, agents or volume: LeadOcean. Flat price, REST and MCP on every plan, and a Zoho upsert that dedupes on Email.
  • A few hundred records and no new vendor: Zia. Turn it on under Setup and map fields before the first run.
  • Reps who work in Zoho all day: Lusha's extension.
  • New leads from domains: Hunter, then verify before you email.
  • A prospecting app with outreach: Apollo, with a Zap into Zoho.
  • Skills and education on a person: WebAmigo.
  • Cost for 10k lookups: LeadOcean fits in a $97 Solo window. Hunter is $209 on Data Platform, Apollo $260, Lusha $977.40.

Whichever you pick, set Zoho to fill empty fields only, and dedupe on Email before a bulk run.

Verdict

LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers. It has a fair-use pace instead of credits, a free 404 on a miss and a Zoho recipe that upserts on Email, but you build the loop. Zia wins for admins with small lists, Lusha for reps who want an extension, and Hunter for email-led lead capture. Apollo wins for teams that want outreach in the same app. WebAmigo wins when you need skills and education. Start on the free plan and enrich the same 100 contacts in two tools.

FAQ

What is the best enrichment tool for Zoho CRM?

For code, agents and volume, LeadOcean. For a few hundred records with no new vendor, Zoho's own Zia. For reps who want an extension, Lusha.

Does Zoho CRM have built-in enrichment?

Yes. Zia Data Enrichment is on all paid editions. It starts from Company, Email or Website and fills fields from public web pages (Zoho help, October 2026).

How do I avoid duplicates when I enrich Zoho CRM?

Use the upsert endpoint with a duplicate_check_fields array, such as ["Email"]. A row that matches updates the record instead of creating a second one. In the UI, enrich only records you already hold.

Is Clearbit still an option for Zoho CRM?

A Clearbit extension is on the Zoho Marketplace, and it needs an API key (Zoho Marketplace, October 2026). Clearbit's release notes say new sign-ups need a HubSpot account (Clearbit release notes, September 2026). We did not rank it.

Does LeadOcean have a Zoho CRM integration?

No. There is no Zoho app and no Chrome extension. You call both APIs from a script, a scheduled job or a workflow tool such as n8n. The how-to has a runnable script.

Do I need a credit card to try LeadOcean?

No. The free plan needs no card. It gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with the same API and MCP server as the paid plans.

Fill your Zoho CRM contacts by API or agent with no credit meter. Start free.

Free to start. No credit card. 1,000 records to spend whenever you like.
