People leave Datanyze when the volume stops fitting. The top paid plan, Nyze Pro 2, gives 160 credits a month, and Datanyze lists no larger plan (ZoomInfo, September 2026). Each credit is one contact reveal in a Chrome extension. ZoomInfo owns Datanyze, and datanyze.com/pricing sits behind a bot check, so these figures come from ZoomInfo's review.
The review also lists no CRM integrations and no shared credits, and contacts you revealed lock if you cancel. It says Datanyze documents no public API, and its terms bar automated access without written approval.
This page ranks six alternatives for people who need more records than one rep can click. It leans toward API and agent buyers. For the Datanyze price detail, see Datanyze pricing.
TL;DR
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Cost at 1M records a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeadOcean | API, agent and volume buyers | Free (1,000 records, one-off). Pro $499 a month | $499 a month flat. Fair use applies |
| Apollo | Reps who want a database and a sequencer | Basic $65 per seat a month, $49 billed yearly | $24,750 a month on monthly billing (250 Professional seats), $19,600 on yearly (400 Basic seats) |
| Lusha | Reps who prospect in a browser extension | Starter $49.90 a month, $37.45 billed yearly | No public 1M price. Top tier is Premium, $9,539.10 billed yearly for 120,000 credits |
| ZoomInfo (GTM AI) | Teams that want Datanyze's parent and pay per credit | Free 1,000 data credits. Credits from $20 | No public 1M price. The slider stops at 100,000 credits for $25,000 |
| RocketReach | Reps and small teams that want an extension | Essentials $69 a month (reported by G2) | No public 1M price. No dollar price per API credit |
| UpLead | Small teams that want verified emails | Essentials $99 a month, $74 billed yearly | No public 1M price. Extra credits are capped at $2,000 of purchases a day |
"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. Where a vendor sells no plan at 1M, the cell says so and names the top public tier. Datanyze itself has no plan near it: 160 credits a month is the ceiling.
What we evaluated
- Price model: flat, credits or seats, and what 1M records a month costs at list price.
- API access: which plan opens it, and the default rate limit.
- MCP: whether an agent can search and enrich through the server.
- Reveal cost: what a work email and a phone number cost, since Datanyze charges one credit for both.
- Limits that bite: plan gates, expiring credits, daily caps and seat rules.
We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. We ran no find-rate or accuracy test, so we quote no quality numbers. Datanyze's own pricing page blocked automated reads, so its figures come from third-party pages.
1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers
LeadOcean is one dataset behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. Datanyze reports 120M people, 84M emails and 63M direct dials (SalesHive, September 2026).
You search with 50 people filters and 34 company filters, and counts are free. Enrichment is POST /v1/people/enrich, phones are GET /v2/people/phone, and exports run up to 50,000 rows per request. A 1M-row pull is 20 export calls over two days, at the 500,000 rows a day ceiling.
Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 5 API keys and 100 requests per second per key. There are no credits and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).
The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 12 tools, from search_leads to find_phone. The app has an Exports page with a filter builder, column picker, price preview and CSV download (LeadOcean docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Flat $499 a month at any volume, with no credit meter.
- REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
- Email status on every record, from
verifiedtospam_trap. - A technology category filter, so you keep some of what Datanyze started with.
Cons
- No Chrome extension, so no click-to-reveal on LinkedIn profiles.
- No rep workspace: no sequencer, dialer or CRM.
- Technology coverage is 105 categories over about 7.8M crawled sites, far below Datanyze's Market Share Reports.
- A v2 contact call that finds nothing still costs one record.
Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need volume and a fixed bill.
Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).
2. Apollo: best for reps who want a database and a sequencer

Apollo is the nearest swap for a Datanyze user who also wants to send. It lists 240M+ contacts and 30M+ companies, plus sequences, a dialer and a Chrome extension (Apollo MCP page, September 2026). Unlike Datanyze, it has a public API on every plan.
Pricing is per seat, per month. Basic is $65 billed monthly or $49 billed yearly, Professional is $99 or $79, and Organization is $149 or $119 with a three-seat minimum. Free gives 75 credits a month (Apollo pricing, September 2026).
The credit meter differs from Datanyze's. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number costs 8, where Datanyze charges one credit for both (Apollo API pricing, September 2026). Credits expire each billing cycle.
For code, enrichment endpoints allow 1,000 requests a minute on paid plans. General endpoints allow 200 a minute on Basic and Professional (Apollo rate limits, September 2026). The MCP server works on every plan, including Free (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Database, sequences, dialer and Chrome extension in one tool.
- API and MCP on every plan, with OAuth sign-in.
- A free plan and published seat prices.
Cons
- Seats and credits both scale the bill, and credits expire.
- A phone number costs 8 credits, so a full contact costs up to 9.
- Selection caps per action of 25, 1,000, 2,500 and 10,000 records by plan.
Best for: sales reps who prospect and send from one workspace.
Pricing: Free. Basic $65, Professional $99, Organization $149 per seat a month, or $49, $79 and $119 billed yearly (Apollo pricing, September 2026).
3. Lusha: best for reps who prospect in a browser extension

Lusha is the closest copy of Datanyze's workflow. It is a Chrome extension for revealing contacts, with a REST API and an MCP server behind it. It lists 525M+ contacts, 29M+ companies and 117M+ direct dials (Lusha, September 2026).
The meter is credits. An email costs 1 credit, a phone number 5 and company info 1. Free gives 40 credits a month, Starter is $49.90 monthly or $37.45 billed yearly, and Premium is $399.90 monthly or $299.95 billed yearly (Lusha pricing, September 2026).
Premium is the top public tier: 10,000 credits a month for $977.40 on monthly billing, or 120,000 a year for $9,539.10 billed yearly. Scale is custom, with no published rate. There is no public price at 1M.
Every plan includes an API key, but daily caps apply: 100 requests on Free and Starter, 1,500 on Pro and 18,000 on Premium (Lusha docs, September 2026). The MCP server exposes 50 tools (Lusha docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Public prices from $49.90 a month.
- API key and MCP server on every plan, including Free.
- A browser extension that works like Datanyze's.
Cons
- A phone number costs 5 credits, so a full contact costs 6.
- Daily API caps on every plan below Scale.
- Starter's API cap of 100 requests a day rules out bulk work.
Best for: reps who want Datanyze's extension workflow with more credits and an API.
Pricing: Free, Starter $49.90, Pro $69.90, Premium $399.90 a month, or $37.45, $52.45 and $299.95 billed yearly. Scale is custom (Lusha pricing, September 2026).
4. ZoomInfo (GTM AI): best for teams that want Datanyze's parent and pay per credit
ZoomInfo bought Datanyze in 2018 and still owns it (ZoomInfo, September 2026). Its platform plans are annual and quoted by sales, and zoominfo.com/pricing blocked our read. Its newer product, GTM AI, is pay as you go with a public price ladder.
Data credits start at $20 with no contract and no seat fee. The list price falls from $0.45 a credit at 100 credits to $0.25 at 100,000 credits ($25,000). Search is free, and one credit enriches or exports one record. A record is charged once per 12 months (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).
Free signup gives 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits with no card. The API, MCP and CLI are included at 5 requests a second (GTM AI pricing, September 2026). Paid packages raise that to 25 and 35 requests a second (GTM AI rate limits, September 2026). Batch enrichment takes 25 records per call.
ZoomInfo claims 500M contacts and 100M companies, with an official MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor (GTM AI MCP docs, September 2026). Above 100,000 credits the slider hands you to Enterprise sales.
Pros
- Public credit prices and a free tier that includes API and MCP.
- A record is charged once a year, so re-enriching it costs nothing.
- Intent data and org charts sit in the same account.
Cons
- No public price at 1M, and 100K+ credits goes to Enterprise.
- Batch calls take only 25 records, which slows bulk pulls.
- Platform plan prices are not public, so the full suite needs a quote.
Best for: Datanyze users who want a bigger database from the same vendor and will pay per credit.
Pricing: Free 1,000 data credits. Pay as you go from $20, $0.45 to $0.25 a credit by volume (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).
5. RocketReach: best for reps and small teams that want an extension
RocketReach is a contact finder with a Chrome extension, an API and outreach tools. It claims 700M+ professionals (RocketReach, September 2026). Its pricing page blocked automated reads, so plan prices come from G2 and are marked as reported.
G2 reports Essentials at $69 a month, Pro at $119 and Ultimate at $209 on monthly billing. Monthly exports are 100, 250 and 1,000. Free gives 5 lookups (G2, September 2026). We could not verify annual prices.
The API bills Universal Credits: 2 for a professional email, 3 for a personal one and 6 for a phone number. The docs publish no dollar price per credit (RocketReach docs, September 2026). Person lookups cap at 5,000, 20,000 and 50,000 a month on the self-serve plans and 200,000 on Custom, with 10 requests per second globally (RocketReach rate limits, September 2026).
The MCP server uses OAuth 2.1 and exposes 9 tools (RocketReach MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Chrome extension and an API on the paid plans.
- MCP server with OAuth 2.1.
- No charge when no data is found, and free re-lookups on an active plan.
Cons
- No public dollar price per API credit.
- Monthly lookup caps from 5,000 to 200,000 and a global 10 requests per second.
- Prices come from G2 until the pricing page can be read.
Best for: one rep or a small team that wants an extension and a bigger database than Datanyze.
Pricing: Free 5 lookups. Essentials $69, Pro $119, Ultimate $209 a month, reported by G2 (G2, September 2026).
6. UpLead: best for small teams that want verified emails
UpLead is a verified-contact database sold in credits. It lists more than 200 million contacts with email, 19M+ company profiles and 27K+ technologies tracked. It claims 95% accuracy and refunds bounces (UpLead, September 2026). The technology data is the closest match to Datanyze's origin.
Essentials is $99 a month for 170 credits, or $74 billed yearly. Plus is $199 for 400, or $149 billed yearly. Extra credits cost $0.60 on Essentials and $0.50 on Plus, and both plans include one user (UpLead pricing, September 2026). The free Test Drive is 7 days with 5 credits.
Plus purchases are capped at $2,000 a day, so there is no public price at 1M (UpLead help center, September 2026). Full API access sits on Professional only, which is a custom quote billed annually.
The API allows 500 requests a minute, and the docs mention no MCP server (UpLead docs, September 2026).
Pros
- A credit is charged only for a Valid or Accept All email.
- Bounce refunds and a 95% accuracy claim.
- Technology tracking across 27K+ technologies.
Cons
- Small allowances: 170 or 400 credits a month.
- Full API access needs a Professional quote.
- No first-party MCP server.
Best for: a one-person sales team that sends a few hundred verified contacts a month.
Pricing: Essentials $99, Plus $199 a month, or $74 and $149 billed yearly. Professional is custom (UpLead pricing, September 2026).

Verdict
LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers: a flat $499, emails and phones in one plan and an MCP server that returns records. Apollo wins for reps who want a sequencer, and Lusha for reps who want Datanyze's extension with more credits. GTM AI wins for ZoomInfo data on a pay-per-credit meter. RocketReach wins for a bigger database in an extension, and UpLead for a small team that values a bounce refund. Stay on Datanyze if one person reveals under 160 contacts a month on LinkedIn. Otherwise start on the free plan and compare the same lookups.
