GetProspect alternatives

6 Best GetProspect Alternatives in 2026 (Compared)

Six email finders and data APIs for teams that pull records in code, through an agent or at volume, ranked by fit, with list prices and the cost of 1M records a month.

Get your free API key →Free to start. No credit card. 1,000 records to spend whenever you like.

People leave GetProspect when the job moves from finding a few emails to pulling data in code. It sells credits per valid email. Starter is $49 a month ($34 billed yearly) for 1,000 valid emails, and Growth is $99 for 5,000 (GetProspect, October 2026). Growth plans stack up to 10x. Anything bigger is a custom plan through sales, so there is no public price at 1M records.

Phones are thin: both paid plans include 5 phone numbers a month, and more come as add-on packages (GetProspect, October 2026). The API is on every plan, and one search stops at 25,000 results (GetProspect API docs, October 2026). We found no MCP server in its llms.txt or API docs index, so an agent has nothing to call.

This page ranks six alternatives for API and volume buyers. LeadOcean is first because it is a searchable database with one flat price, REST and an MCP server. For GetProspect plans and credit costs, read GetProspect pricing.

"1M records" here means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. Figures are list-price arithmetic. Where a vendor sells no plan at 1M, the cell shows its top public tier or cheapest public path, not a price. GetProspect has no public 1M price either, so it is not in the table. Prices are USD list prices.

What we evaluated

  • API access: which plan opens it, how you call it, and the default rate limit.
  • MCP: whether an agent can search or enrich through the server, or only read documentation.
  • Price model: flat, credits or seats, and what 1M records a month costs at list price.
  • Email quality controls: live verification, stored status values, bounce policy and what a miss costs.
  • Limits that bite: plan ceilings, daily caps, seat rules and search result caps.

We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. GetProspect's own pages block automated reading, so its figures come from its llms.txt and API docs, read in October 2026. We ran no find-rate or accuracy test for this page, so we quote no quality numbers of our own. Where a vendor quotes a number, we label it a vendor claim.

1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers

LeadOcean is one dataset behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. You search with 50 people filters and 34 company filters. Counts are free. So unlike a finder that needs a name first, you build the list and get the emails in the same place.

The price does not move with volume. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 5 API keys and 100 requests per second per key. There are no credits and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off. More headroom is one email to support.

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/enrich" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe","reveal_email":true}'

Work emails are also at GET /v2/people/email/work, and phones are at GET /v2/people/phone. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 12 tools, from search_leads to find_phone and export_leads (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026). Every person or company returned counts as one record.

Pros

  • Flat $499 a month at any volume, with no credit meter.
  • Search by 50 people filters, then pull emails and phones from the same database.
  • Email status on every record, from verified to spam_trap.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, including Free. A miss on POST /v1/people/enrich is a free 404.

Cons

  • No verifier for a list you bring. You read the stored email_status and decide what to send.
  • The v2 contact endpoints cost one record per call, including a call that finds nothing.
  • No Chrome extension, sequencer or CRM. The app has an Exports page with a filter builder and CSV download.
  • No refund or credit-back for bounced emails.

Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need search, emails and a fixed bill at volume.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

2. Icypeas: best for cheap emails at volume

Icypeas is an email finder and verifier that sells credits, and it has the lowest published price at 1M in this group. One credit is one found email. A search that finds nothing costs nothing. Verifying an email costs 0.1 credit (Icypeas docs, September 2026).

Basic is $19 a month for 1,000 credits ($190 a year for 12,000). Advanced is $89 for 10,000. Hypergrowth is $499 for 100,000. Its credit selector lists a 1,000,000-credit tier at $3,992 a month, or $3,326.67 a month billed yearly, plus VAT (Icypeas pricing, September 2026). There is no free plan, only 50 credits at signup. Unused credits roll over with no expiry.

The API allows 10 calls a second on email search and 1 call a second on bulk search, with up to 5,000 rows per call (Icypeas docs, September 2026). The hosted MCP server at mcp.icypeas.com has 21 tools and signs in with your API key (Icypeas MCP guide, September 2026). Find People costs 0.02 credit per result. Its Phone Finder is listed as coming soon.

Pros

  • The lowest published 1M price here, at $0.003992 a credit.
  • A miss costs no credit, the same rule GetProspect uses for not-found emails.
  • MCP and API on every plan, plus Make, Zapier and n8n.
  • Credits never expire.

Cons

  • It is built to find emails for people you name, not to search a database.
  • No phone finder yet, where GetProspect at least includes a few phone credits.
  • 10 calls a second on email search, and 1 a second on bulk.
  • No free plan.

Best for: teams with a known list of names and domains that want the cheapest verified emails.

Pricing: Basic $19, Premium $39, Advanced $89, Hypergrowth $499 a month (Icypeas pricing, September 2026).

3. Anymail Finder: best for verified emails paid only on a find

Anymail Finder is the closest match to GetProspect's core promise. You send a name and a company, it checks the address against the mail server, and you pay one credit only when it finds a valid email. Searches that find nothing are free. A decision-maker lookup costs 2 credits (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).

USD monthly plans run from $29 for 400 credits to $799 for 100,000 credits. Yearly billing saves 33%, so 4,800 credits cost $228 a year. For volume it sells one-time packs, valid 12 months. The 1,000,000-credit pack is $4,990, about $0.0050 a credit. The page shows Canadian dollars to visitors in Canada, and the USD view is the same page with ?currency=usd.

The API docs state no rate limits and no daily caps (Anymail Finder API docs, September 2026). Bulk jobs take up to 100,000 rows (Anymail Finder bulk docs, September 2026). The MCP server has five actions: find a person's email, find a decision maker, find company emails, verify and check your account. It does not search a database (Anymail Finder MCP page, September 2026).

Pros

  • Pay only for valid emails. A verified email that bounces can be reported for a credit back, under a 97%+ delivery guarantee.
  • No stated rate limit and unlimited team members on one credit pool.
  • A 1M pack at $4,990, with no monthly commitment.
  • MCP sign-in without pasting a key.

Cons

  • It looks up people you already name. The docs list no database search and no phone endpoint.
  • The largest monthly plan is 100,000 credits for $799.
  • The free test is 100 credits, and it asks you to verify a card.

Best for: teams that have a name and domain list and want verified emails with a bounce credit-back.

Pricing: $29 to $799 a month, or one-time packs up to 1,000,000 credits for $4,990 (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).

4. Hunter: best for domain lookups with outreach attached

Hunter is an email finder with sequences built in, priced in credits. One credit is one email found. Verifying an email costs half a credit, and a lookup that finds nothing is free. Hunter's homepage cites 150,430,313 verified email addresses (Hunter, September 2026). It is an email index, not a people and company database.

The free plan gives 50 credits a month. Starter is $49 a month ($34 billed yearly) for 2,000 credits. Growth is $149 for 10,000. Scale is $299 a month ($209 billed yearly) for 25,000 credits (Hunter pricing, September 2026). More volume means Enterprise or the API-only Data Platform. There, 1,000,000 Search credits cost $6,900, bought once and valid 12 months (Hunter Data Platform, September 2026).

Email Finder and Domain Search allow 15 requests a second and 500 a minute. Discover allows 5 a second (Hunter API docs, September 2026). The MCP server at mcp.hunter.io/mcp takes an API key and spends your plan credits (Hunter MCP, September 2026).

Pros

  • Credible API limits: 15 requests a second on the core endpoints.
  • MCP server included on every plan, using plan credits.
  • Sequences and a browser extension in the same product, like GetProspect.
  • Unlimited team members on every plan.

Cons

  • Scale stops at 25,000 credits a month, so volume needs the Data Platform or a sales call.
  • Domain Search returns 10 results by default and 100 at most per call.
  • Rate-limited calls return 403 and quota errors return 429, which trips up retry code.

Best for: teams that find emails by domain and send from the same tool.

Pricing: Free. Starter $49, Growth $149, Scale $299 a month, or less billed yearly (Hunter pricing, September 2026).

5. LeadMagic: best for cheap credits on valid emails and mobiles

LeadMagic is a credit-based enrichment API. It has 400M+ people profiles and 25M+ companies (LeadMagic, September 2026). A valid email costs 1 credit and a mobile costs 5. A failed lookup costs nothing. You reach it by REST, CSV or a hosted MCP server. It fills the gap GetProspect leaves on phones.

The credit price falls as you climb the plans. Essential is $99 a month for 5,000 credits ($83 a month billed yearly for 60,000 a year). Professional is $499 for 50,000. Ultimate is $849 for 100,000, or $0.00849 a credit (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). There is no free plan, only a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment. Above Ultimate you need an Enterprise quote.

Email Finder is capped at 600 requests a minute (LeadMagic docs, September 2026). The hosted MCP server states 43 tools and signs in with OAuth only, with no static API keys (LeadMagic MCP, September 2026).

Pros

  • The lowest monthly per-credit list price in this group below 1M, at $0.00849 on Ultimate.
  • A miss costs no credit.
  • Mobiles at 5 credits, half the 10 credits Prospeo charges.
  • Hosted MCP with OAuth sign-in.

Cons

  • The top self-serve plan is 100,000 credits, so 1M a month needs Enterprise.
  • A smaller stated database, at 400M+ people profiles.
  • No free plan or trial credits.

Best for: teams that enrich a few hundred thousand valid emails and mobiles a month at the cheapest credit price.

Pricing: Essential $99, Growth $249, Professional $499, Ultimate $849 a month (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026).

6. Prospeo: best for reps who want an extension

Prospeo is the closest to GetProspect's shape. It is an email and mobile finder priced per user on credits, with a REST API, a Chrome extension and an MCP server. One verified email costs 1 credit and one mobile costs 10 (Prospeo help center, September 2026). A search page of up to 25 results also costs 1 credit.

Plans are priced per user. Free has 100 credits a month, and its API access is disputed. The pricing table shows no public API on Free. The help center lists limited API access at 50 requests a day (Prospeo help center, September 2026). Starter is $49 per user a month ($37 billed yearly), Growth is $99 and Pro is $249 (Prospeo pricing, September 2026). Starter allows 5 enrichment requests a second and 2,000 a day. Pro allows 30 a second and 500,000 a day (Prospeo rate limits, September 2026).

Search results carry no email or mobile, so you pay a second time to enrich them. One search stops at 25,000 results (Prospeo API docs, September 2026). The MCP server at mcp.prospeo.io exposes 8 tools and signs in with OAuth 2.0 or an API key (Prospeo MCP docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Search filters plus enrichment in one product, with a Chrome extension.
  • A miss costs no credit, and re-enriching a record within 90 days is free.
  • A hosted MCP server, which GetProspect lacks.

Cons

  • Per-user pricing, so a team adds seats and credits together.
  • Daily request caps of 2,000 and 5,000 on the two lower paid plans.
  • Add-on credits stop at 350,000 a month or 500,000 a year, then extended pricing is on request (Prospeo help center, September 2026).
  • The highest 1M cost here.

Best for: reps and small teams that want an extension and pay-as-you-go emails.

Pricing: Free. Starter $49, Growth $99, Pro $249 per user a month (Prospeo pricing, September 2026).

Sources are linked in each tool section, all checked in September 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm on the pricing page before you buy. The 1M column is list-price arithmetic on email lookups. Icypeas, Anymail Finder and Hunter publish a price at 1M. Hunter's and Anymail Finder's figures are one-off purchases valid 12 months, not monthly bills. LeadMagic and Prospeo sell no plan at 1M a month, so their cells show the top public tier or the cheapest public path. Prospeo's path is 44 Pro seats at $249 plus the 350,000-credit add-on at $3,500 for 1,010,000 credits. Billed yearly it is $11,223 once.

How to choose

  • You pull data in code or with an agent, at volume: LeadOcean. One flat price, search plus emails, REST and MCP on every plan.
  • You have a name and domain list and want the lowest price per email: Icypeas, at $3,992 for 1M credits a month at list.
  • You want GetProspect's pay-on-valid model with a bounce credit-back: Anymail Finder.
  • You look up emails by domain and send from the same tool: Hunter.
  • You need mobiles as well as emails, at a low credit price: LeadMagic, at 5 credits a mobile.
  • Your reps live in a browser extension: Prospeo, and budget per user.
  • You send cold email from a built-in sequencer and CRM at low volume: stay on GetProspect. Its sequences, built-in CRM, free plan and extension fit that size.

Verdict

LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers. It is the only tool here that searches 693M people, returns emails and phones from the same database, and charges one flat price. Icypeas wins on the cheapest list price per email, and Anymail Finder on verified emails with a bounce credit-back. Hunter suits domain lookups with outreach, LeadMagic suits cheap credits with mobiles, and Prospeo suits reps who want an extension. GetProspect stays the simple choice for a small team that wants finder, sequences and CRM in one login. Otherwise start on the free plan and compare the same lookups.

FAQ

Why do teams leave GetProspect?

Volume, phones and agents. Plans start at 1,000 valid emails for $49 and stack up to 10x, with custom plans beyond that (GetProspect, October 2026). Paid plans include 5 phone numbers a month, and we found no MCP server in its docs index. Above 50,000 valid emails a month it is a custom plan through sales.

What is the cheapest GetProspect alternative at volume?

At 1M records a month, LeadOcean at $499 flat is cheapest on list price. Icypeas lists 1,000,000 credits at $3,992 a month. Anymail Finder sells a 1M pack for $4,990 once, and Hunter sells 1,000,000 Search credits for $6,900 once. LeadMagic has no public 1M price. Prospeo's cheapest public path is $14,456 a month. Enterprise quotes narrow the gap.

Does GetProspect have a rate limit?

Regular API keys are not rate-limited today, and the practical limit is your credit balance. At zero credits, paid calls return 402 Payment Required (GetProspect API docs, October 2026). LeadOcean caps each key at 100 requests per second. Hunter allows 15 a second and Icypeas 10 a second on email search.

Which GetProspect alternative has an MCP server that returns data?

All six do. LeadOcean's has 12 tools and covers search, enrichment, phones and export. Anymail Finder's server finds and verifies emails but does not search a database. Compare the tools each server exposes before you choose.

Can I use LeadOcean with GetProspect?

Yes. Use LeadOcean to build the list and pull the emails it holds. Keep GetProspect for sequences, the Chrome extension and its CRM if your reps use them. GetProspect's People Search is free, so you can compare coverage on the same list.

Do I need a credit card to try LeadOcean?

No. The free plan needs a work email and no card. It gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with the same API and MCP server as Pro. See pricing.
