6 Best SalesIntel Alternatives in 2026 (Compared)

Six B2B data tools for teams that pull records through an API, an agent or at volume, ranked by fit, with list prices and the cost of 1M records a month.

Get your free API key →Free to start. No credit card. 1,000 records to spend whenever you like.

People leave SalesIntel when they want its data without its platform. The price is a quote: the pricing page shows a Request Pricing button and no dollar figure (SalesIntel pricing, September 2026). The terms say a user cannot reveal more than 3000 companies or contacts a month (SalesIntel terms, September 2026).

The API bills credits per record returned, and your key comes from your success team. The docs say thousands of contacts in a single request may need another route (SalesIntel API docs, September 2026). The developer docs index lists no MCP server (SalesIntel docs, September 2026).

This page ranks six alternatives for buyers who pull data in code, through an agent or at volume. LeadOcean is first because it has one flat price, with REST and MCP on every plan. For a two-column view, see LeadOcean vs SalesIntel. For API-only buyers, read SalesIntel API alternatives.

"1M records" here means 1M enrichments that return a result, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. Figures are list-price arithmetic. Enterprise quotes are lower, so ask each vendor at your volume.

What we evaluated

  • API access: which plans open it, the endpoints that return people and companies, and the default rate limit.
  • MCP: whether an agent can search and enrich through the server, or only read documentation.
  • Price model: flat, credits or seats, and what 1M records a month costs at list price.
  • Data: stated coverage, email and phone fields, and how the vendor says it verifies them.
  • Limits that bite: reveal caps, plan gates, expiring credits and fair-use clauses.

We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. We ran no find-rate or accuracy test for this page, so we quote no quality numbers. SalesIntel claims 95% accuracy on a 90-day refresh cycle (SalesIntel, September 2026). That is a vendor claim we have not tested. Test accuracy on your own list before you commit.

1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers

LeadOcean is one dataset behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. You search with 50 people filters and 34 company filters. Counts are free. Enrichment is POST /v1/people/enrich, phones are GET /v2/people/phone, and exports run up to 50,000 rows per request.

The price does not move with volume. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 5 API keys and 100 requests per second per key. There are no credits and no seat cap. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off. More headroom is one email to support.

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/enrich" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe","reveal_email":true}'

The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 12 tools, from search_leads to find_phone and export_leads. Claude, Cursor or your own agent can pull records directly. If your reps built lists in SalesIntel's web app, app.leadocean.io has an Exports page. It has a filter builder, a column picker, the record price before you start and a CSV download.

Pros

  • Flat $499 a month at any volume, with no credit meter and no reveal cap per seat.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
  • Email status on every record, from verified to spam_trap.
  • Free counts, and a miss on POST /v1/people/enrich is a free 404.

Cons

  • No human verification step and no accuracy claim. SalesIntel's research team does that work.
  • No intent data, no rep workspace, no sequencer, dialer, CRM or Chrome extension.
  • One dataset, so a niche source needs another tool.

Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need volume and a fixed bill.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

2. People Data Labs: best for per-match enrichment and data licences

people-data-labs homepage

People Data Labs (PDL) is a long-running person and company data API with bulk licences. The pricing page lists ISO and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, which matters for procurement (PDL pricing, September 2026). It charges per match: a request that returns a profile costs one credit, and an unsuccessful request is not billed (PDL docs, September 2026).

The entry price is high per record. Pro starts at $98 a month for 350 credits, and PDL puts Pro profiles at about $0.20 to $0.28 each. Free gives up to 100 records a month with emails, phones and addresses hidden. Volume above 100,000 records goes to Enterprise and a sales call.

The speed is real. Enrichment allows 1,000 requests a minute for paying customers, and the bulk endpoint raises that by up to 100 records per request (PDL docs, September 2026). Person search defaults to 10 requests a minute (PDL docs, September 2026). We found no MCP server in PDL's docs index (PDL docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • A fast enrichment API, with a stated 1,000 requests a minute on paid plans.
  • Bulk person enrichment and dataset licences for your own warehouse.
  • ISO and SOC 2 Type 2 shown on the pricing page.
  • No charge when a request finds nothing.

Cons

  • About $0.20 to $0.28 a profile, and no public 1M price. Above about 100,000 profiles a year it is quote only.
  • Contact data is hidden on the Free plan, so you cannot test what you will buy.
  • Search is limited to 10 requests a minute by default.
  • No MCP server found, so agents need a wrapper you host.

Best for: data teams that license files, need compliance paperwork and accept per-record pricing.

Pricing: Free up to 100 records a month. Pro from $98 a month for 350 credits. Enterprise custom (PDL pricing, September 2026).

3. Apollo: best for reps who want a database and a sequencer in one

apollo homepage

Apollo is a sales platform with a contact database attached. It lists 240M contacts and 30M companies, and ships sequences, a dialer and a Chrome extension (Apollo pricing, September 2026). It is the closest match to SalesIntel's rep workspace on this list, with a public price.

Pricing is per seat plus credits. Basic is $49 per seat a month with 30,000 credits a year. Professional is $79 with 48,000. Organization is $119 with 72,000 and a three-seat minimum, all billed annually. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 8. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle.

For code, the limits are workable. Enrichment endpoints allow 1,000 requests a minute on paid plans. Search allows 200 a minute and 50,000 a day (Apollo docs, September 2026). The MCP server uses OAuth and works on any plan, including Free (Apollo MCP, September 2026).

Pros

  • Database, sequences, dialer and Chrome extension in one workspace.
  • Public per-seat prices, a free plan and a 14-day trial of paid plans.
  • MCP server on every plan, with no API key to paste.
  • Enrichment at 1,000 requests a minute on paid plans.

Cons

  • Seats and credits both scale your bill, and credits do not roll over.
  • Search is capped at 200 requests a minute, and limits are per team.
  • Phone numbers cost 8 credits each.
  • No human-verified tier like SalesIntel's.

Best for: sales reps who prospect and send from one workspace and want a public price.

Pricing: Free. Basic $49, Professional $79, Organization $119 per seat a month, billed annually (Apollo pricing, September 2026).

4. ZoomInfo (GTM AI): best for a self-serve API on ZoomInfo data

GTM AI is ZoomInfo's headless product. It serves contact, company and intent data by API, MCP or command line. You can start without a sales call. The free tier gives 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits, with no card, and top-ups start at $20 (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).

One data credit covers one company, contact or intent record enriched or exported. The list price falls with spend: $0.38 a credit at the $1,000 tier, and $0.25 at 100,000 credits for $25,000, where the slider stops. Search and lookup are free. GTM AI says it charges once per data point per 12 months, so re-pulling the same record does not bill twice. Credits do not expire while the account is active.

The catch is the meter and the throttle. Free access is limited to 5 requests per second and 5 apps. Custom limits, mobile phone data and volumes above 100K credits sit in Enterprise packages, which are quoted by sales. This is a separate product from ZoomInfo's platform plans.

Pros

  • Self-serve API and MCP on ZoomInfo data, from a free tier with no card.
  • Free search, lookup and find-similar, so you explore without spending credits.
  • A record is billed once per 12 months, not on every pull.
  • Credits stay valid while the account is active.

Cons

  • No public 1M price. The slider stops at 100,000 credits for $25,000, and larger volumes go to Enterprise.
  • 5 requests per second on the free tier.
  • Mobile phone data is listed under Enterprise packages.
  • Two credit types, data and AI, to budget for.

Best for: teams that want ZoomInfo's data in an agent or a pipeline without a platform contract.

Pricing: Free tier with 1,000 data credits. Top-ups from $20. Data credits fall from $0.45 for 100 credits to $0.25 at 100,000 credits for $25,000 (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).

5. Crustdata: best for live company and people signals in agents

crustdata homepage

Crustdata sells company and people data through APIs for search, enrichment, jobs, posts and watchers. Its homepage lists 1B people (Crustdata, September 2026). It fits signal-driven work, such as hiring spikes and funding events, better than bulk list building.

Pricing is credit based, and the public pricing page shows tiers but no dollar price per credit (Crustdata pricing, September 2026). The docs list costs per call. Person search is 0.03 credits per result, and a person enrichment is 1 to 7 credits depending on the fields you ask for (Crustdata docs, September 2026). Purchased credits are valid for 12 months.

Volume is the catch. Person enrich defaults to 15 requests a minute and person search to 30. Higher limits go through an email to Crustdata (Crustdata docs, September 2026). The MCP server at install.crustdata.com/mcp signs in with a Crustdata account (Crustdata docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Live data and change watchers that a static database lacks.
  • Cheap search at 0.03 credits per result, so you narrow before you enrich.
  • MCP server with company, people and job data.

Cons

  • No public price per credit, so you cannot price 1M records from the site.
  • Default limits of 15 to 30 requests a minute on standard endpoints.
  • Enrichment costs more credits as you add fields.

Best for: AI SDR and signal workflows that need fresh data more than raw volume.

Pricing: Credit based, with no public price per credit. Per-call credit costs are in the docs (Crustdata docs, September 2026).

6. Cognism: best for phone-verified mobiles, mostly in Europe

cognism homepage

Cognism is the nearest thing here to SalesIntel's verification story. It lists more than 10M phone-verified contacts, and its team can verify a mobile number on request in under 48 hours (Cognism Diamond Data, September 2026). It is built for reps who dial, with do-not-call checks in 15 territories.

The price is a quote. The pricing page lists Standard and Pro without dollar figures, with 5 seats on each and credits that reveal, enrich or export a contact (Cognism pricing, September 2026). Intent data is a Pro feature. API and MCP access are listed on Standard, and on existing packages they need an upgrade through your account team (Cognism docs, September 2026).

The API meters twice. Search tokens count one per row returned, and each count call costs one token. Credits count contacts revealed (Cognism docs, September 2026). Limits are 500 requests a minute per operation (Cognism docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Phone verification and do-not-call checks for teams that call mobiles.
  • API and MCP server on the Standard package.
  • Intent, hiring and funding signals on the platform.

Cons

  • No public price, and five seats come with each plan.
  • Search tokens and credits are two separate meters, set by your subscription.
  • Count calls cost a token, so sizing an audience is not free.
  • New API access may need a package upgrade.

Best for: sales teams that call mobiles, especially in Europe, and accept a quote.

Pricing: No public price list. Standard and Pro are quoted by sales (Cognism pricing, September 2026).

Sources are linked in each tool section, all checked in September 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm on the pricing page before you buy. The 1M column is list-price arithmetic. Apollo is 250 Professional seats on monthly billing ($99 each, 4,000 credits) or 400 Basic seats billed yearly ($49 each, 2,500 credits a month). PDL publishes no 1M price. GTM AI's slider stops at 100,000 credits for $25,000, so it has none either.

How to choose

  • You pull data in code or with an agent, at volume: LeadOcean. One flat price, REST and MCP on every plan, 100 requests per second.
  • You need per-match enrichment or licensed files: People Data Labs, and budget about $0.20 to $0.28 a profile, with a quote above about 100,000 profiles a year.
  • Your reps live in the tool and want a public price: Apollo. Keep it for the sequencer and pull volume elsewhere.
  • You want ZoomInfo data without a platform contract: GTM AI, with the $0.25 to $0.45 credit range in your model.
  • You need fresh signals and company events: Crustdata, after a rate-limit conversation.
  • You need phone-verified mobiles in Europe: Cognism, or stay on SalesIntel for human-checked numbers.
  • You only need technology data: read Wappalyzer alternatives.

Verdict

LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers. It has a flat price, emails and phones in one plan, and an MCP server that returns records. People Data Labs is the runner-up for per-match enrichment and licensed files. Apollo wins for reps who want a sequencer at a public price, and GTM AI for ZoomInfo data on a self-serve meter. Crustdata wins for live signals and Cognism for phone-verified mobiles. Stay on SalesIntel if human-verified contacts in a web app are the point. Otherwise start on the free plan and compare the same lookups.

FAQ

Why do teams leave SalesIntel?

Price model and shape. SalesIntel quotes by contract, caps each user at 3000 reveals a month and issues API keys through your success team (SalesIntel terms, September 2026). Teams that want a data source for code often move to an API with a public price.

What is the cheapest SalesIntel alternative at volume?

At 1M records a month, LeadOcean at $499 flat is cheapest on list price. Apollo is next at $19,600 a month billed yearly in Basic seats, or $24,750 on monthly billing. PDL and GTM AI publish no 1M price. GTM AI lists 100,000 credits for $25,000, and Enterprise quotes narrow the gap.

How much does SalesIntel cost?

SalesIntel publishes no price. Vendr reports a median of $17,599 a year, with deals from $8,670 to $41,380 (Vendr, updated February 2026). Intent data and API volume are priced on top.

Which SalesIntel alternative has an MCP server that returns data?

LeadOcean, Apollo, GTM AI, Crustdata and Cognism all do. We found no MCP server in PDL's docs index, and SalesIntel's developer docs list none. Compare the tools each server exposes before you choose.

Can I use an alternative alongside SalesIntel?

Yes. Build large lists at a flat price in LeadOcean, and keep SalesIntel for the accounts where you want human-verified mobiles. That also keeps each user well under the 3000 reveal cap. The steps are on the SalesIntel alternative page.

Do I need a credit card to try LeadOcean?

No. The free plan needs a work email and no card. It gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with the same API and MCP server as Pro. See pricing.
