Best B2B data providers for DACH

7 Best B2B Data Providers for DACH in 2026

Seven providers ranked on one question, how well they cover Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with a free coverage test per tool and a live LeadOcean count.

Get your free API key →Free to start. No credit card. 1,000 records to spend whenever you like.

A B2B data provider for DACH sells records of people and companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with titles, work emails and phones, through an app, an API or both. Sales teams use one to fill pipeline. Engineers and agents use one to enrich German-language accounts in code.

Here, coverage in DACH is the only test. A global total says little about Austrian owners or Swiss heads of IT. Dealfront and Cognism claim DACH depth, and neither publishes a DACH count on the pages we read. LeadOcean has a free count call, so we counted, and the numbers are in section 3.

We have not run named lists through rival tools, so we quote no match rates. Each rival has its own page: Dealfront, Cognism, Kaspr, ZoomInfo, Apollo and Lusha. Also read best B2B databases, best B2B data providers in the UK and best B2B data providers.

"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, at list price. Where a vendor publishes no price at that size, we say so and do not multiply a small-plan rate.

What we evaluated

  • DACH coverage claim: what the vendor publishes about Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and whether it gives a count or only a global total.
  • Coverage test: 100 named DACH contacts (40 in Germany, 30 in Switzerland, 30 in Austria), half with German titles such as Geschäftsführer, run through the tool's free allowance. Score found, email returned and phone returned.
  • Reachability: emails and phones, and what a miss costs.
  • Access: API, MCP and rate limit.
  • Price at volume: flat, credits, seats or quote, and the cost of 1M records.

Only LeadOcean counts were run by us, on 2026-10-01. For every other tool we give the free allowance you can spend on the test.

1. Dealfront (Leadfeeder): best for DACH sales and marketing teams

Dealfront is the DACH-native option. It formed when Germany's Echobot merged with Finland's Leadfeeder, and its April 2023 launch release calls it a DACH and Nordic market leader (Dealfront launch release, April 2023). That is the vendor's own claim, and it is three years old.

The company has since renamed itself Leadfeeder and says its core strength is website visitor identification (Leadfeeder, October 2026). Weigh that if you want contact data more than visitor signals.

The homepage claims 60M companies, 400M verified contacts and 100+ filters (Dealfront, October 2026). It gives no split for Germany, Austria or Switzerland. List prices are the same number in dollars and euros (Leadfeeder help, September 2026).

DACH coverage test: Lite is free with 20 credits a month (Leadfeeder pricing, September 2026). An email-only contact costs 0.2 credit and email plus phone costs 1 (Leadfeeder credits help, September 2026). Ask sales for a DACH sample on your own list.

API access is on Discover, Activate and Scale, not Lite. The limit is 10 requests a second per key, a burst of 15 and 100,000 requests a month (Leadfeeder API docs, September 2026). The MCP server is in beta and comes with a paid plan that has API access (Leadfeeder MCP page, September 2026).

Pros

  • German roots and a stated DACH focus.
  • Free Lite plan to start.
  • Visitor identification and company data in one platform.

Cons

  • No public price at 1M, and 1M email-only contacts is 200,000 credits against 5,500 a month on Scale.
  • 100,000 API requests a month per key.
  • The published contact schema lists no email status field (Leadfeeder OpenAPI spec, October 2026).

Best for: DACH sales and marketing teams that want company data and visitor identification in one app.

Pricing: Lite free. Discover $113 a month billed monthly or $79 billed yearly, Activate $527 or $369, Scale from $599 billed yearly (Leadfeeder pricing, September 2026).

2. Cognism: best for DACH outbound teams that call mobiles

cognism homepage

Cognism sells sales prospecting built around phone-verified mobiles and European data. Its own EMEA page says coverage is strongest in the UK, DACH, Benelux, Nordics, France and Spain, and claims more than 200M European contacts (Cognism EMEA data, October 2026). Those are vendor claims, with no count for Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

Cognism claims more than 10M phone-verified contacts and Do Not Call checks in 15 territories (Cognism Diamond Data, September 2026). It publishes no dollar price. Pricing is tailored to team setup and usage, with Standard and Pro plans at five seats each (Cognism pricing, September 2026).

DACH coverage test: the same EMEA page offers a 25-lead sample and a way to check coverage in your key markets before you buy (Cognism EMEA data, October 2026). Send your 100 names and count how many come back with a mobile.

The API allows 500 requests a minute per account, per operation (Cognism rate limits, September 2026). The MCP server has 15 tools and OAuth 2.0 sign-in (Cognism MCP docs, September 2026). API and MCP need a package that includes them.

Pros

  • Phone-verified mobiles with Do Not Call checks.
  • Free sample to test your own DACH list.

Cons

  • No public price at any size, so 1M needs a sales call.
  • No DACH count, and no total beyond "hundreds of millions" (Cognism FAQ, September 2026).

Best for: DACH outbound teams that call mobiles and can buy through sales.

Pricing: Quote only. Standard and Pro (Cognism pricing, September 2026).

3. LeadOcean: best for DACH data by API, agent or at volume

LeadOcean holds 693M people worldwide, and 67M companies. We counted the DACH slice on 2026-10-01 with the free count_leads tool over MCP. The default counts only people whose best email is verified, catch-all valid or catch-all, so the first four rows are mailable counts.

Query (person located in)People
Germany, Austria and Switzerland, verified or catch-all email2,588,430
Germany only1,744,229
Switzerland only656,051
Austria only188,150
DACH, any email status, including none14,560,430
DACH, with a phone number, any email status (not a mailable count)762,880
DACH, title Geschäftsführer, verified or catch-all email22,569
DACH, machinery makers with 51 to 500 employees, owner, founder or C-level, verified or catch-all email1,267

Germany is 67% of the mailable DACH count, Switzerland 25% and Austria 7%. Austria is thin, so test it first. The Geschäftsführer row misses people titled Managing Director. The largest industry in the mailable set is financial services, at 177,086.

DACH coverage test: pass each of your 100 account domains to count_leads with country DE, AT or CH. The call is free, so you can test thousands of accounts. A miss on POST /v1/people/enrich is a free 404. The REST count caps meta.total at 100,000, so use MCP for DACH-wide totals.

Agency is $497 a month, flat, with 1M enrichments a day, 200 requests a second and 5 API keys. Solo is $97 a month for one person. Search is 50 people filters and 34 company filters, phones are GET /v2/people/phone, and POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows a request. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp uses OAuth 2.1 and exposes 13 tools. The data is refreshed monthly.

Pros

  • A measured DACH count that you can rerun for free.
  • Agency is $497 a month flat for 1M enrichments a day, with no credit meter.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
  • An email_status on every record, with 13 values.

Cons

  • Austria is 188,150 mailable people, about 7% of the DACH total.
  • Bulk CSV export is not on Free.
  • No rep workspace, sequencer, dialer, CRM or Chrome extension.
  • No name plus domain lookup. Search by domain, then enrich by person_id.

Best for: engineers, RevOps teams and agents that pull DACH people by API or MCP at a fixed bill.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records for life, no card. Solo is $97 a month, Agency $497 and Platform $1,997 (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).

4. Kaspr: best for reps prospecting from LinkedIn across Europe

Kaspr is a LinkedIn-first contact finder, born in France, with hubs in the UK and Spain. Its data page claims 200 million European B2B contacts from 120+ sources (Kaspr data page, October 2026). It gives no figure for Germany, Austria or Switzerland. Its FAQ says only that it covers B2B decision makers across the globe (Kaspr data page, October 2026).

Free is $0 per user with 15 B2B email credits, 5 phone credits and 5 direct email credits a month. Starter is EUR 59 or $65 per user a month billed monthly, and Business is EUR 99 or $99 (Kaspr pricing, September 2026). Phone, direct email and export credits are extra.

DACH coverage test: the free plan gives 5 phone credits, so run 15 DACH names for email and 5 for phones, then upgrade one Starter seat for a month if the hit rate is good. Export on Free is capped at 100.

API access is on request on paid plans. Starter allows 20 requests an hour and 250 a day, and Business allows 250 an hour and 500 a day (Kaspr pricing, September 2026). Each API call spends the data credit plus one export credit (Kaspr help center, September 2026). The API docs list no MCP server (Kaspr API docs, October 2026).

Pros

  • Europe is the home market.
  • Free plan and a low per-user price.
  • Unlimited B2B email credits on paid plans, subject to fair use.

Cons

  • No DACH count on the pages we read.
  • API on request, 500 calls a day at the top public tier, and no MCP server listed.
  • Business caps exports at 30,000 a year, so no public plan reaches 1M.

Best for: reps who look up contacts one profile at a time in the browser and sell across Europe.

Pricing: Free, Starter EUR 59 or $65 and Business EUR 99 or $99 per user a month billed monthly (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).

5. ZoomInfo: best for enterprise teams that sell in DACH and worldwide

ZoomInfo is an enterprise sales intelligence suite. Its MCP docs claim 100M+ companies and 500M+ contacts, worldwide (GTM AI MCP docs, September 2026). The pages we read give no DACH split, so the global total tells you little about Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

Platform plans are quoted by sales, and most paid plans bill annually upfront (ZoomInfo, July 2026). For code, ZoomInfo sells GTM AI, an API, MCP server and CLI on pay-as-you-go credits. List price falls from $0.45 a data credit to $0.25 at 100,000 credits, which is $25,000 (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).

DACH coverage test: Free gives 1,000 data credits with no card, and search and lookup are free (GTM AI pricing, September 2026). Size your DACH accounts with free searches, then spend 100 data credits enriching your named list.

Rate limits are 5 requests a second on Builder, 25 on Standard and 35 on Scaling (ZoomInfo API docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Free tier of 1,000 data credits with API and MCP, no card.
  • Search and lookup are free, so a DACH sizing test is cheap.
  • Intent data in the same suite.

Cons

  • The credit slider stops at 100,000 credits. Beyond that is a quote.
  • No DACH count, and platform prices are not public.

Best for: enterprise sales teams that sell in DACH as one of many regions and want signals in one login.

Pricing: GTM AI credits from $20, $0.45 down to $0.25 each. Platform plans by quote (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).

6. Apollo: best for small teams that want an app and a cheap seat

apollo homepage

Apollo is a prospecting app with a database behind it. Its pricing page claims 240M contacts and 30M companies (Apollo pricing, September 2026). The page shows no split for DACH, so the global total says nothing about Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

Plans bill per seat. Free is $0 with 75 credits a month. Basic is $65 a seat a month with 2,500 credits, Professional is $99 with 4,000 and Organization is $149 with 6,000. Billed yearly they are $49, $79 and $119 (Apollo pricing, September 2026). An email costs 1 credit and a phone 8 (Apollo API pricing, September 2026).

DACH coverage test: the free plan has 75 credits, enough for 75 emails or 9 phones. Run 75 of your 100 names for email, and note how many come back.

Paid plans allow 1,000 enrichment requests a minute (Apollo rate limits, September 2026). Apollo runs an official MCP server on any plan (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Full sales app with API and MCP on the free plan.
  • Low per-seat price.

Cons

  • No DACH count on the pages we read.
  • Seats cap the credits. 1M work emails is 250 Professional seats, or $24,750 a month at list.
  • Credits do not roll over, and a phone costs 8 credits.

Best for: small teams that want prospecting and sequencing in one app and will test DACH on the free plan first.

Pricing: Free, then $65, $99 and $149 per seat a month, or $49, $79 and $119 billed yearly (Apollo pricing, September 2026).

7. Lusha: best for small phone-first teams on self-serve credits

lusha homepage

Lusha sells contact data on self-serve credit plans, with a browser extension and an API. Its homepage claims 525M+ contacts, 29M+ companies, 165M+ emails and 117M+ direct dials (Lusha, October 2026). Those are global totals with no DACH split.

Free is $0 for 40 credits a month. Starter is $49.90 a month for 400 credits, or $37.45 billed yearly. Pro is $69.90 for 600, or $52.45 yearly. Premium is $399.90 for 3,400, or $299.95 yearly (Lusha pricing, September 2026). An email costs 1 credit and a phone 5 (Lusha API guide, September 2026).

DACH coverage test: Free gives 40 credits, enough for 40 emails or 8 phones. Lusha's docs disagree on whether an API request with no match costs a credit (Lusha billing FAQ, September 2026). Test in the app first.

Free and Starter allow 40 requests a minute and 100 a day, and Premium allows 300 a minute. The MCP server has 50 tools and shares the REST credit pool (Lusha MCP docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Low entry price, with a free plan and no card.
  • API key and a 50-tool MCP server on the same credits.

Cons

  • A global total only, no DACH count.
  • The top public tier is 10,000 credits a month. 1M is about 104 times that.
  • Starter and Free cap API use at 100 requests a day.

Best for: small phone-first teams that want a self-serve extension and a light API.

Pricing: Free, then $49.90, $69.90 and $399.90 a month, or $37.45, $52.45 and $299.95 billed yearly (Lusha pricing, September 2026).

How to choose

  • A DACH team that lives in an app and wants visitor identification: Dealfront.
  • Cold calling mobiles in Germany, Austria and Switzerland: Cognism. Run its sample on your own list first.
  • DACH people by API, agent or at volume, with a count you can verify: LeadOcean.
  • LinkedIn-first reps selling across Europe: Kaspr, after a test on your DACH names.
  • DACH as one region in a global enterprise plan: ZoomInfo.
  • A cheap app seat to test DACH: Apollo or Lusha, on the free plans.

Verdict

Dealfront wins for DACH sales and marketing teams that want company data in an app, because it is the only German-rooted vendor here. Cognism wins for outbound teams that call mobiles in DACH, as long as its sample holds up on your list. LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers. It is the only one here with a free, repeatable DACH count, 2,588,430 mailable people, with Austria the thin spot. Kaspr suits LinkedIn-first reps, ZoomInfo suits global enterprises, and Apollo and Lusha suit small teams on free plans. We have not measured DACH match rates for the rivals, so run the same 100 names through any two before you pay. Start on the free plan.

FAQ

What is the best B2B data provider for DACH?

It depends on how you buy. Dealfront and Cognism claim DACH depth and suit teams that work in an app or call mobiles. LeadOcean suits buyers who pull by API or agent and want a DACH count they can check.

How do I test DACH coverage before I buy?

Take 100 named contacts, 40 in Germany, 30 in Switzerland and 30 in Austria, half with German titles. Run them through each tool's free allowance and score found, email returned and phone returned.

Which provider has the most contacts in Germany?

No provider here publishes a Germany-only count on the pages we read, except LeadOcean, which counted 1,744,229 mailable people in Germany on 2026-10-01. Ask each other vendor for a Germany count on your filters.

Is a US database good enough for DACH?

Only a test on your list can say. Apollo, Lusha and ZoomInfo publish global totals with no DACH split. Run your 100 names through the free plans first.

Which DACH data providers have an MCP server?

LeadOcean, Dealfront (in beta), Cognism, ZoomInfo, Apollo and Lusha do. Kaspr's API docs list none. MCP calls spend the same credits as the API at Apollo and Lusha.

What does DACH data cost at 1M records a month?

LeadOcean Agency is $497 a month flat and allows 1M enrichments a day under a fair-use pace. Apollo is $24,750 a month at list on monthly billing, or $19,600 billed yearly. The other five publish no price at 1M, so ask for a quote.
