A B2B data provider for enterprise teams is a source of people and company records that can serve many users, systems and markets under one contract, by app, API or agent. Revenue operations, data and platform teams buy one when the list is millions of rows, not thousands.
Enterprise buying breaks the usual list-price math. Per-seat plans multiply by headcount. Credit plans stop at a published ceiling, and then you are in a sales call. The price at 1M records a month is often a quote, not a number.
This page ranks seven providers on volume, price model, API and seats. Six have a LeadOcean comparison: ZoomInfo, Apollo, Cognism, People Data Labs, Coresignal and Crustdata. See also best B2B data providers for RevOps teams and best firmographic data providers for B2B sales teams.

"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, at list price. Where a vendor publishes no price at that size, we say so and do not multiply a small-plan rate.
What we evaluated
- Volume: the highest public tier, the self-serve ceiling and what happens past it.
- Price model: flat, credits, seats or quote, and what 1M records a month costs.
- API: which endpoints return people and companies, and the default rate limit.
- Seats and access: whether the price grows with headcount, and how many keys or users a plan includes.
- MCP: whether an agent can search and enrich through a hosted server.
We ran no accuracy test, so we quote no match rates. Every figure comes from a vendor page or doc linked in its section.
1. LeadOcean: best for teams that pull data in code or with an agent at volume
LeadOcean is built for the buyer who calls an API. Agency is $497 a month flat for teams, with 5 keys and 200 requests a second. It allows 1M enrichments a day and 25M search records a month, both raisable. There are no credits or seats, so headcount does not change the bill. Reaching the fair-use pace slows the key until the window resets. Nothing stops.
The data is 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 67M companies. You search with 50 people filters and 34 company filters. Enrichment is POST /v1/people/enrich, phones are GET /v2/people/phone, and POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows a request. Counts are free, so you size a list before you spend a record.
Platform is $1,997 a month for products that embed or resell the data. It adds 10,000 requests a second, 20 keys, a private Slack channel and an uptime SLA, and it is sold by talking to LeadOcean. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 13 tools.
Pros
- Agency is $497 a month flat with 5 keys, and Platform adds an SLA and a resell licence.
- REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
- Free counts, with a company count that breaks down by industry, headcount band and HQ country.
- An
email_statuson every record, with 13 values fromverifiedtospam_trap.
Cons
- No rep workspace, sequencer, dialer, CRM or Chrome extension. The app has an Exports page, not a sales seat.
- Bulk CSV export is not on Free, and no refund for bounced emails, so read
email_statusbefore you send. - No name plus domain lookup. Search by domain first, then enrich by
person_id.
Best for: enterprise data, RevOps and platform teams that feed a warehouse, a product or an agent and want a fixed bill.
Pricing: Free is 1,000 records for life, no card. Solo is $97 a month, Agency $497 and Platform $1,997 (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).
2. ZoomInfo: best for sales orgs that want the full suite and intent data
ZoomInfo sells a sales intelligence suite. Its platform plans are quoted by sales, and the vendor says most paid plans bill annually upfront (ZoomInfo, July 2026). We could not read platform prices from ZoomInfo itself, so we quote none.
For code, ZoomInfo sells GTM AI, an API, MCP server and CLI on pay-as-you-go credits from $20, with no seat fee. List price falls from $0.45 a credit to $0.25 at 100,000 credits, which is $25,000. Larger volumes go to Enterprise (GTM AI pricing, September 2026). Search and lookup are free, and a record is charged once per 12 months (ZoomInfo API docs, September 2026).
Rate limits are 5 requests a second on Builder, 25 on Standard and 35 on Scaling, and higher limits go through the account team (ZoomInfo API docs, September 2026). Batch enrichment takes 25 records a call (ZoomInfo API docs, September 2026). The MCP server needs a GTM AI account or a ZoomInfo subscription with data credits (GTM AI docs, September 2026).
Pros
- The widest suite here: data, intent signals and workflows under one vendor.
- GTM AI has no seat fee, and the free tier gives 1,000 data credits with API and MCP, no card.
- A record is charged once a year, so repeat enrichment inside the window is free.
Cons
- The credit slider stops at 100,000 credits. Beyond that is a quote.
- Platform prices are not public, and terms are annual.
- Batch calls of 25 records make a bulk backfill slow.
Best for: large sales orgs that want one suite with intent data and will sign an annual contract.
Pricing: GTM AI credits from $20, $0.45 down to $0.25 each. Platform plans by quote (GTM AI pricing, September 2026).
3. Apollo: best for large SDR teams that prospect and send in one app

Apollo is a prospecting app with a database behind it. Its pricing page claims 240 million contacts and 30 million companies (Apollo pricing, September 2026). Sequences sit on the same login as the data, so a rep can search, enrich and send in one place.
Plans bill per seat. Basic is $65 a seat a month with 2,500 credits, Professional is $99 with 4,000 and Organization is $149 with 6,000 and a three-seat minimum. Billed yearly they are $49, $79 and $119 (Apollo pricing, September 2026). Credits are pooled across the team and expire at the end of each cycle.
An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 8 (Apollo API pricing, September 2026). Every plan includes API access, and paid plans allow 1,000 enrichment requests a minute (Apollo developer FAQ, September 2026; Apollo rate limits, September 2026). Apollo runs an official MCP server on any plan (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Data and sequences in one app, so a large SDR floor needs one tool.
- Every plan has API access, and the official MCP server works on Free.
- Enrichment runs at 1,000 requests a minute on paid plans.
Cons
- Every new rep is another seat, and seats cap the credits.
- 1M work emails is 250 Professional seats, which is $24,750 a month at list.
- Credits do not roll over, and Apollo prints no price per extra credit on the pages we could read.
Best for: enterprise sales floors where reps prospect and sequence inside one app.
Pricing: Free, then $65, $99 and $149 per seat a month, or $49, $79 and $119 billed yearly (Apollo pricing, September 2026).
4. Cognism: best for EMEA-heavy sales teams that buy by the seat

Cognism sells sales prospecting data with a strong mobile focus. It publishes no dollar price. The pricing page lists Standard and Pro plans with 5 seats each and says pricing is tailored by product, team setup and usage (Cognism pricing, September 2026). Pro adds mobile data checks, on-demand verification and buying-intent prioritisation.
The credit rule is simple. One credit is one revealed contact, and viewing a contact you already revealed is free. Each seat carries a credit allocation, and the same credits work across the app, Enrich and the API (Cognism pricing, September 2026). Cognism describes its database as hundreds of millions of company and contact profiles (Cognism FAQ, September 2026).
The API allows 500 requests a minute per account, per operation, and a search page returns up to 100 records. Cursor pagination runs to 100,000 records per journey (Cognism rate limits, September 2026; Cognism pagination, September 2026). The MCP server has 15 tools and uses the same credits (Cognism MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Phone-verified contacts are a stated focus, with Do Not Call checks in 15 territories (Cognism Diamond Data, September 2026).
- Viewing a revealed contact again costs nothing.
- An official MCP server with 15 tools on the same credits as the API.
Cons
- No public price at any size, so you cannot budget before a sales call.
- API and MCP access need a package that includes it.
- 500 requests a minute per operation is low for bulk backfills.
Best for: sales teams that sell into Europe and want vetted mobiles inside a seat plan.
Pricing: No public price. Standard and Pro are quoted (Cognism pricing, September 2026).
5. People Data Labs: best for product teams that build on person and company data

People Data Labs (PDL) sells raw person and company data by API and as datasets. It is a builder's vendor, with no sales app. Its person dataset holds 2.47 billion profiles, 592 million with an email, and the company dataset holds 76.6 million records (PDL datasets, September 2026).
Person data starts free with 100 credits a month and contact data obscured. Paid starts at $98 a month for 350 credits, or $78 a month billed yearly (PDL pricing, September 2026). One credit is one matched profile, and a 404 is free. Self-serve is meant for volumes below roughly 100,000 profiles a year, and above that PDL sends buyers to Enterprise (PDL pricing guide, September 2026).
Person Enrichment allows 1,000 requests a minute on paid plans. Person Search allows 10 a minute by default (PDL usage limits, September 2026). We found no official PDL MCP server in its docs or GitHub organization, only community ones (PDL llms.txt, September 2026).
Pros
- Very large public dataset counts, stated on PDL's own pages.
- Per-profile billing with no seats, and a miss costs nothing.
- Bulk enrichment takes up to 100 people a request.
Cons
- No official MCP server that we could find.
- Search is limited to 10 requests a minute by default.
- Self-serve ends near 100,000 profiles, and the price at 1M is not published.
Best for: product and data teams that embed person data in their own software.
Pricing: Free, then Pro from $98 a month for 350 credits ($78 billed yearly). Enterprise by contract (PDL pricing, September 2026).
6. Coresignal: best for teams that need employee, company and job data in bulk

Coresignal sells public web data as APIs and flat-file datasets: employee, company and job posting records. Its homepage claims 4.5B+ records, including 907M+ employee records and 482M+ job postings (Coresignal, September 2026). It is strongest on workforce and hiring data, and weaker as a source of contact details.
Plans are credit based. Monthly prices run from Mini at $49 for 2,500 credits to Elite at $5,000 for 10,000,000. A multi-source record costs 20 credits and a base record 10, while search by filter is free (Coresignal pricing, September 2026; Coresignal credits, September 2026). Billing yearly takes 10% off. Flat-file datasets start from $1,000 a month.
Rate limits rise with the plan, from 5 requests a second on Free, Mini and Starter to 100 on Scale (Coresignal rate limits, September 2026). Bulk Collect takes up to 10,000 records a request. The MCP server has 5 tools and signs in with OAuth 2.1 (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Employee, company and job posting data in one vendor, plus datasets.
- Search by filter costs no credits.
- Rate limits climb to 100 requests a second on Scale.
Cons
- Contact data is a side feature. Contact enrichment costs 20 credits a call and starts on the Pro plan.
- No public price at 1M. The top public tier is Elite, and it covers 500,000 work-email lookups.
- Smaller plans reset credits each cycle.
Best for: enterprise teams that analyse workforce, hiring and company change at scale.
Pricing: Mini $49 a month up to Elite $5,000 a month. Yearly billing is 10% off (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
7. Crustdata: best for teams that need live people and company signals

Crustdata sells people, company and job data by API, with watchers that alert you when a record changes. It publishes no plan names or dollar prices. The pricing page describes credit tiers with monthly and annual payment and a contact-sales route (Crustdata pricing, September 2026).
The docs list credits per call. Search is 0.03 credits per result, person enrich is 1 to 7 credits and company enrich is 2 to 4. A work-email lookup is 2 credits through /person/enrich on a self-serve key (Crustdata pricing docs, September 2026). The dollar value of a credit depends on your plan.
Default limits are 15 requests a minute on enrich endpoints and 30 on search, and batch person enrich takes up to 10,000 identifiers a job (Crustdata rate limits, September 2026). The contact enrich endpoint needs an enterprise plan. A hosted MCP server uses OAuth sign-in, or an API key for code (Crustdata MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Credits per call are public, and a dashboard endpoint returns your own costs.
- Watchers flag job and company changes as they happen.
- A hosted MCP server that takes an API key for code.
Cons
- No public dollar price per credit, so you cannot cost a list before talking to sales.
- Default enrich limits of 15 requests a minute need raising for volume.
- Contact enrich is enterprise only. Self-serve keys get a 403.
Best for: teams that react to hiring and company changes and are happy to negotiate credits.
Pricing: No public dollar price. Credit tiers through sales (Crustdata pricing, September 2026).
