Best email finder tools for LATAM

7 Best Email Finder Tools for LATAM in 2026

Seven email finders ranked on one question, how many Latin American contacts they can actually return, with a free LATAM test for each and the list price of 1M lookups.

Get your free API key →Free to start. No credit card. 1,000 records to spend whenever you like.

An email finder for LATAM returns the business email of a person who works in Latin America, from a name and company, a LinkedIn URL or a search. Sales teams, agencies and agent builders who sell into Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and Chile need one that actually holds those people. Almost no vendor prints a LATAM figure, so a global headline count tells you little.

This page ranks seven finders on LATAM coverage alone, with list prices checked in September and October 2026. We ran real LATAM counts on LeadOcean on 2026-10-21 and no query on the rivals. Each rival has its own page: Lusha, Apollo, Anymail Finder, Hunter, Prospeo and ContactOut. New to the category? Read what an email finder is. Other markets: Brazil, the UK and the global ranking.

ContactOutLinkedIn-led lookups of individual LATAM profilesFree (5 emails a day). Email $49 a month ($39 billed yearly)No public 1M price. Email plan is capped at 2,000 emails a month

"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, at list price. Where a vendor sells no plan at 1M, the cell shows its top public tier or cheapest public path, not a price.

What we evaluated

  • Published LATAM figure: a count for LATAM, or for its large countries, with a source we can link. Global totals do not count.
  • Free LATAM test: whether you can size or test a Latin American list before you pay, and what the free tier allows.
  • Mailable depth: whether the figure counts people with a sendable email or only profiles. We separate any email from verified or catch-all.
  • Spread across countries: whether Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Chile are covered, not only Brazil.
  • API, MCP and price at 1M: whether an agent or script can pull LATAM records, and what volume costs.

How to run the LATAM coverage test

Take 25 contacts you really sell to, split across Mexico City, São Paulo, Bogotá, Buenos Aires and Santiago. Use your own list, not ours. Run them through each free tier below and count work emails returned, then phones.

Try titles in Spanish and Portuguese, such as Director Comercial and Diretor Comercial. Free allowances are enough for 25 lookups on every tool here. Vendor figures are vendor claims, and each vendor counts a contact its own way.

LATAM is not one definition. LeadOcean's LATAM figure uses its salesRegion filter set to LATAM, and other vendors draw the region their own way. Compare by country, not by regional total.

1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers

LeadOcean holds 693M people and 67M companies, with 366M people carrying an email. We ran count_leads with salesRegion LATAM on 2026-10-21, which spends no records: 78,448,833 people across all email statuses. 20,306,400 have an email of any status.

6,016,465 have a verified, catch-all-valid or catch-all email. That is the mailable count, 7.7% of the LATAM total. 1,494,217 have a phone number, 1.9% of the total.

By country, the same day, mailable people number 2,909,818 in Brazil (of 35,807,041) and 975,448 in Mexico (of 11,624,041). Argentina has 581,836 (of 6,157,519), Chile 419,782 (of 4,487,924) and Colombia 393,115 (of 6,201,851). Brazil is 48% of the mailable total. The region is thin on emails and thinner on phones.

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/search?count=true&limit=1" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"country": ["MX"], "city": ["Mexico City"], "title": ["Director Comercial"], "emailStatus": ["verified", "catch_all_valid", "catch_all"]}'

That call sizes a mailable Mexico City audience for free. Over REST, meta.total stops at 100,000, so use narrower filters or the MCP leadocean_count_leads tool for exact totals. Work emails come from GET /v2/people/email/work, and the MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp exposes 13 tools and signs in with OAuth 2.1 (LeadOcean MCP docs, October 2026).

Pros

  • A free, exact LATAM count by country, city, seniority, industry, company size and email status.
  • Email status on every record, from verified to spam_trap, so you filter before you send.
  • Paid plans run on a fair-use pace, not credits, with no per-record price.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.

Cons

  • LATAM is a thin spot: 7.7% of the regional total is mailable, and 1.9% has a phone.
  • Brazil carries about half of the mailable people. Colombia is the smallest of the five countries counted.
  • No name plus domain lookup: search by domain first, then enrich by person_id.
  • Bulk CSV export is not on Free, and v2 contact calls cost a record even on a miss.

Best for: engineers, agencies and agents that sell into LATAM and want a free count by country before they spend.

Pricing: Free is $0 for 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Solo is $97 a month, Agency $497 a month, Platform $1,997 a month (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).

2. Lusha: best for small batches with phones

lusha homepage

Lusha prints no LATAM or country figure. Its data page lists 515M+ contacts, 29M+ companies and 165M+ verified emails worldwide, with no country table (Lusha data page, October 2026).

An email costs 1 credit and a phone 5 (Lusha API docs, September 2026). Every plan includes an API key, Free included. The MCP server has 50 tools and shares the API credit pool (Lusha MCP docs, September 2026).

LATAM coverage test. Lusha Free gives 40 credits a month, enough for about 25 email lookups and a few phones. Free search through the API is capped at 100 requests a day. Count how many of your 25 contacts return a work email, by country.

Pros

  • An API key on every plan, Free included.
  • Phone numbers on the same record, at 5 credits each.
  • A free tier you can use for the 25-contact test.

Cons

  • No LATAM or country figure, only global totals.
  • Credits stop at a small plan: the top public tier is 10,000 credits a month.
  • No public 1M price, and Scale is custom.

Best for: teams that look up LATAM contacts in small batches and want phones in the same tool.

Pricing: Free $0 for 40 credits a month. Starter $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly). Pro $69.90 ($52.45). Premium $399.90 ($299.95) (Lusha pricing, September 2026).

3. Apollo: best for reps who need a workspace

apollo homepage

Apollo prints global numbers only: 240M+ contacts and 30M+ companies (Apollo, October 2026). It publishes no LATAM figure. Its people search is not in the list of credit-consuming API endpoints, so a LATAM search costs nothing (Apollo API pricing, October 2026).

An email costs 1 credit and a phone 8. Credits are pooled per team and expire at the end of each cycle (Apollo pricing, September 2026). The official MCP server at https://mcp.apollo.io/mcp works on any plan, Free included (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).

LATAM coverage test. Filter people by Mexico, then Colombia, and read each total in the app. Enrich your 25 contacts with the 75 free credits. Compare the search totals with how many of your 25 return a work email.

Pros

  • Search is free to run, so you can size each country before you spend a credit.
  • Sequences, dialer and extension in the same workspace.
  • Official MCP server on every plan.

Cons

  • No published LATAM figure.
  • Per-seat credits make 1M lookups very expensive.
  • Credits expire each cycle and do not roll over.

Best for: reps who sell into LATAM and want search, email and outreach in one place.

Pricing: Free $0 for 75 credits a month. Basic $65 per seat a month ($49 billed yearly). Professional $99 ($79). Organization $149 ($119, minimum 3 seats) (Apollo pricing, September 2026).

4. Anymail Finder: best for verified emails for LATAM names you hold

Anymail Finder starts from a name and company, or a domain. It says it verifies each address against the recipient's mail server (Anymail Finder, October 2026). That is a vendor claim. It prints no LATAM figure, so a coverage test on your own list is the only way to know.

The site offers a free upload that reports your coverage rate with no signup, which is the test this page asks for. A search that finds no verified email costs nothing (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). The API docs state no rate limits (Anymail Finder API docs, September 2026).

LATAM coverage test. Upload your 25 contacts to the coverage checker, then use the 100 free credits you get when you verify a card. Misses are free, so the test costs only what it finds.

Pros

  • Free coverage upload and free misses make the LATAM test cheap.
  • The 1M-credit pack is the lowest public 1M price here after LeadOcean.
  • Subscription credits roll over while the plan is active.

Cons

  • No search by market: you bring the names, so it cannot size LATAM.
  • The MCP server has five actions and no bulk files.
  • No phone numbers.

Best for: teams that already hold LATAM names and companies and want verified emails back.

Pricing: $29 a month for 400 credits ($19 billed yearly). The 1,000,000-credit pack is $4,990, valid 12 months (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).

5. Hunter: best for LATAM company domains

Hunter is built around a company domain: you give a domain and it returns the emails it finds there. One credit is one email found, and nothing is charged if nothing is found (Hunter help, September 2026). We found no LATAM figure on the pages we read.

Coverage for LATAM therefore means coverage of Latin American domains. Email Finder and Domain Search allow 15 requests a second (Hunter API docs, September 2026). The remote MCP server at https://mcp.hunter.io/mcp takes your API key and is included in every plan (Hunter MCP, September 2026).

LATAM coverage test. Take the company domains behind your 25 contacts, including .com.mx, .com.co and .com.ar sites, and run Domain Search on the 50 free credits. Count how many domains return an email in the right role. Misses are free.

Pros

  • Misses cost no credit, so a LATAM test is cheap.
  • 15 requests a second on the core endpoints.
  • MCP server on every plan.

Cons

  • Domain-first. Building a list by title and country means paging through domains.
  • No published LATAM figure.
  • The 1M price is a one-off Data Platform purchase, not a monthly bill.

Best for: teams that start from Latin American company domains and want an extension and app.

Pricing: Free $0 for 50 credits a month. Starter $49 a month ($34 billed yearly) for 2,000 credits. Growth $149. Scale $299 ($209) (Hunter pricing, September 2026).

6. Prospeo: best for location filters with per-user pricing

Prospeo has person and company location filters, and the values must match its dashboard strings exactly (Prospeo Search API, October 2026). That lets you search for people in a Latin American country without bringing names. We found no LATAM count on its site.

A verified email costs 1 credit, a mobile 10, and a result-less call is free. The Search API returns up to 25 results per request with no contact data, which costs 1 credit (Prospeo help, September 2026). The hosted MCP server has 8 tools (Prospeo MCP docs, September 2026).

LATAM coverage test. Build a location filter per country in the dashboard, copy the exact location string, then run your 25 contacts through the 100 free credits. Prospeo's own pages disagree on Free-plan API access, so test in the app first.

Pros

  • Location search, so you can size and build a country list without names.
  • No charge for a result-less call.
  • Credits are pooled across the team.

Cons

  • Seat-based: the cheapest public path to 1M is $14,456 a month.
  • Credits expire each cycle.
  • Search returns no contact data, so you pay again to enrich.

Best for: small teams that want to filter by Latin American location and pay per user.

Pricing: Free $0 for 100 credits a month. Starter $49 per user a month ($37 billed yearly). Growth $99 ($74) (Prospeo pricing, October 2026).

7. ContactOut: best for LinkedIn-led profile lookups

contactout homepage

ContactOut is built around individual profiles, and its Chrome extension is the main way in. Its data page prints global figures only: 800M profiles, 200M work emails, 150M personal emails and 100M direct dials. It prints no LATAM split, and the totals differ across its own pages (ContactOut data page, October 2026).

The paid plans are unlimited on paper, but the terms cap them at 2,000 email credits and 1,000 phone credits a month per account (ContactOut terms, September 2026). API access is by contact only, with no public price (ContactOut API, September 2026). The MCP page lists 15 tools (ContactOut MCP, September 2026).

LATAM coverage test. Free gives 5 emails, 5 phones and 5 exports a day. Spread your 25 contacts over five days, one country a day, and read the hit rate.

Pros

  • Personal and work emails, plus direct dials, on one profile.
  • Extension for one-off lookups from LinkedIn.
  • Free daily allowance, so the test costs nothing.

Cons

  • No LATAM figure, and the global counts conflict across its pages.
  • One user per company on self-serve plans.
  • No public API price and no public 1M price.

Best for: recruiters and reps who look up individual Latin American profiles, one at a time.

Pricing: Free $0. Email $49 a month ($39 billed yearly). Email + Phone $99 ($79) (ContactOut pricing, October 2026).

How to choose

  • You pull LATAM through an API or an agent: pick LeadOcean. Count by country first, then pull. Expect Brazil to dominate.
  • You want phones in small batches: test Lusha on its 40 free credits.
  • You hold names and need verified addresses back: pick Anymail Finder and upload your list to the coverage checker.
  • You start from Latin American company domains: pick Hunter, and run Domain Search on 25 of them.
  • You want to filter by country without names: pick Prospeo, or LeadOcean if you need the count to be free.
  • Your reps need search, email and a dialer in one place: pick Apollo, and read each country total before you buy seats.
  • You look up individual profiles from LinkedIn: pick ContactOut. Keep to its 2,000 email fair-use cap.

Verdict

LeadOcean wins for buyers who pull LATAM through an API, an agent or at volume, because it prints an exact, free count by country: 78,448,833 people and 6,016,465 mailable across the region on 2026-10-21. Its LATAM base is thin on phones and Brazil is half of it, so test Colombia and Chile lists before you commit. Lusha suits small batches with phones, Anymail Finder for names you already hold and Hunter for company domains. Apollo wins for reps who want a workspace. No vendor here proves its LATAM coverage on a public page, so run the 25-contact test on every free tier, LeadOcean included.

FAQ

Which email finder has the most LATAM contacts?

Only LeadOcean prints a verifiable regional count with a date: 78,448,833 people on 2026-10-21, of which 6,016,465 are mailable. Lusha, Apollo and ContactOut show global totals only, and Hunter, Prospeo and Anymail Finder print no total for the region. Vendors define a contact differently, so compare after a test.

How many LATAM contacts have an email I can send to?

On 2026-10-21 our count was 6,016,465 people in the LATAM region with a verified, catch-all-valid or catch-all email. People with an email of any status number 20,306,400. A count with hasEmail is not a mailable count, so filter by emailStatus before you send.

Which LATAM country has the most mailable contacts?

On LeadOcean, Brazil leads with 2,909,818 mailable people, then Mexico with 975,448, Argentina 581,836, Chile 419,782 and Colombia 393,115 (2026-10-21). We did not count the other countries or the rivals.

Are LATAM phone numbers as available as emails?

No. We count 1,494,217 people in the LATAM region with a phone number, against 20,306,400 with an email of any status. Phones also cost more per lookup elsewhere: 5 credits at Lusha, 8 at Apollo and 10 at Prospeo.

Can I size a Latin American audience for free?

Yes, on two of them. LeadOcean's count_leads and count=true search spend no records. Apollo's people search is not a credit-consuming endpoint. Prospeo charges 1 credit for a search that returns results.

How do I test LATAM coverage before I pay?

Run 25 contacts you sell to across Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and Chile through each free tier and count work emails and phones returned. Anymail Finder offers a free coverage upload. Lusha, Apollo, Hunter, Prospeo and LeadOcean all have a free allowance.
