Demandbase has no public price. The cheapest plan is reported from about $18,000 a year. The median contract is about $65,000 a year, from Vendr data reported by Docket and MarketBetter (Docket, October 2026; MarketBetter, October 2026). A million records has no public price.

Demandbase's pricing page holds a contact form and four FAQs, and no dollar figure (October 2026). It says pricing is a platform fee plus a flat fee per user. Every price below is a third-party report, so treat it as a range and get a written quote.

Demandbase is an ABM and intent platform first. The data is one part of what you buy.

Plans

Demandbase does not split into separate Sales or Marketing products. Its page says it builds one plan around your GTM teams (Demandbase pricing, October 2026). Third parties still name tiers, and they disagree.

Sources: tier names, starting prices and the Vendr median from Docket, October 2026. MarketBetter reports three different tiers: Basic about $24,000, Professional about $60,000 and Enterprise from $70,000 to $300,000 or more (October 2026).

The cheapest route is Starter, reported at $18,000. Docket calls ABM and Sales Intelligence, from $45,000, the most common entry point.

What a credit buys

Demandbase sells data access through API credits. The MCP rule is one credit for each record returned (Demandbase MCP credit rules, October 2026). Neither credit page publishes a dollar price per credit.

ActionCredit cost
One account, contact or lead record returned1 credit
Full Account Brief (many sources in one record)1 credit

A page of 100 records, the maximumUp to 100 credits

Same query again within 5 minutesNo credit

The REST B2B API bills on one of two models, set by your contract: per record returned or Records Under Management. Per record returned, a contact or company fetch, a match or a news feed costs 1 credit. The /contacts and /companies search endpoints cost none (Demandbase B2B API credit model, October 2026).

Demandbase lists six APIs: B2B, Data Import, Data Export, User Admin, Credit Usage and Intent (Demandbase API overview, October 2026). Its data-as-a-product page has no pricing and sends you to partnerships (PoweredBy Demandbase, October 2026).

Hidden costs

The platform fee is the visible part. The rest sits outside the first quote.

  • Per-user fees. Reported at $1,200 to $3,000 per user a year (Docket, October 2026). MarketBetter says $1,500 to $3,000.
  • Onboarding. Sources disagree. Docket reports about $29,000, billed separately. MarketBetter reports $5,000 to $15,000 (MarketBetter, October 2026).
  • Advertising. The DSP module is reported to need $5,000 to $10,000 a month in minimum ad spend (MarketBetter).
  • Add-on modules. Docket places website personalization and Agentbase AI agents in the higher tiers, and warns of modules added after the first contract.
  • Renewal uplift. G2 reviewers report about 20% a year, per Docket. Ask for a cap in writing.
  • Contract terms. Docket reports discounts for multi-year contracts. Ask about auto-renewal and early exit before you sign.
  • Intent data. Reported as part of higher tiers, not priced alone (MarketBetter).
  • Total. Docket cites one AWS Marketplace contract at $215,000 for 12 months.

Worked examples

Demandbase has no per-record price. We do not divide a contract by records, because that gives a rate Demandbase never quoted. The examples show what the public rules support.

10k records a month

  • Credits needed: 10,000 at 1 credit per record returned.
  • Pages at the default 5 records: 10,000 / 5 = 2,000 calls. At 100 a page: 100 calls.
  • Median contract, reported: $65,000 / 12 = about $5,417 a month.
  • How many credits that contract holds is not public.

1M records a month

  • Public price: No public 1M price.
  • Credits needed: 1,000,000. Pages at 100 a page: 10,000 calls.
  • The largest reported tier, Demandbase One from $200,000 a year, is about $16,667 a month. It is a tier start, not a 1M quote.

25M records a month

  • Public price: No public 25M price.
  • Credits needed: 25,000,000. Pages at 100 a page: 250,000 calls.
  • Ask sales how 25M credits map to the contract. Nothing public answers it.
Volume a monthDemandbaseLeadOcean Pro
10k recordsNo public price. Median contract about $65,000 a year$499 a month
1M recordsNo public 1M price$499 a month
25M recordsNo public 25M price$499 a month, with fair-use pacing. Email support first

LeadOcean Pro is $499 a month, or $5,988 a year. The Vendr median is about 11 times that. LeadOcean has no intent feed or scoring, so this row sets a flat fee next to a quote. It is not a like-for-like swap.

Is it worth it

Demandbase is worth it when intent, advertising and account scoring drive your plan and a team works the accounts daily. You pay for the platform.

  • Enterprise ABM team. Yes. Account views, buying signals and ad programs are what the contract pays for.
  • Mid-market sales and marketing. Maybe. Price the entry tier against a data-only source first.
  • Startup or solo founder. No. The reported entry price is far above any list plan for contact data.
  • Developer or RevOps feeding a pipeline. Only for the intent signal. API access is set by contract, and credit prices are not public.
  • High volume, 1M records or more. No public price exists. Ask what the quote counts.

Alternatives with a different price model

These three skip the platform contract.

LeadOcean: flat fee. Free gives 1,000 records one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 100 requests per second per key and 5 API keys. It covers 693M people and 63M companies over REST and MCP. It has no intent feed. See pricing.

ZoomInfo GTM AI: pay per credit. One data credit enriches or exports one company, contact or intent record. List price runs from $0.45 a credit for 100 credits down to $0.25 at 100,000 credits ($25,000), with no contract. Larger volumes go to Enterprise (GTM AI pricing, September 2026). No public 1M price. Pick it for small intent pulls.

Cognism: seats with intent in Pro. Cognism publishes no dollar price. Its Pro plan includes intent data from Bombora Company Surge, with up to 12 topics from over 11,000 (Cognism pricing, September 2026). No public 1M price. Pick it for a rep-facing app with intent included.
