Harmonic has no public price and no free plan. Its pricing page shows three plans (Console, API access and Bulk data) and a "Get pricing" button on each (Harmonic pricing, September 2026). The price is a quote after a demo.
Harmonic does not say which plan sells most, and it prints no plan price or seat count. Console is the app for deal and sales teams. API access is the plan developers need.
There is no public 1M price. Harmonic does not publish credits, so a per-record rate cannot be multiplied out to 1M. At 1M records the realistic route is the bulk data plan, which is also quoted. LeadOcean Pro is $499 a month, flat.
Plans
Harmonic sells startup data: companies, people and investors. The pricing page lists 40 million companies, 200 million people and 250 thousand investors (Harmonic pricing, September 2026). Harmonic's bulk data guide says 50M+ company records, about 31M of them "surfaceable", and 193M+ people (Harmonic bulk data overview, September 2026).
| Plan | Price | Credits | Seats | API access | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Console | Quote only | None published | Not published | No | App, mobile, Scout AI, network mapping, CSV export, MCP trial credits |
| API access | Quote only | None published | Not published | Yes, REST and GraphQL, plus full MCP | 10 requests per second on most endpoints. Over quota returns HTTP 402. |
| Bulk data | Quote only | None published | Not applicable | Warehouse delivery | Weekly refresh to S3, BigQuery or Snowflake |
| Add-ons | Quote only | None published | Not applicable | Varies | Financing and investor data, no-code CRM sync, Scout via API |
Source: Harmonic pricing, checked September 2026. Price, seat and quota cells say "quote" or "not published" because Harmonic prints no figure. The docs mention a plan quota but print no number for it.
Existing customers manage subscriptions through an account manager, not a self-serve page (Harmonic subscription management, July 2026). There is no card checkout.
What a credit buys
Harmonic does not sell credits. It meters usage against a plan quota instead. The docs say only successful 200 responses count toward your limit, and an over-quota call returns 402 (Harmonic API docs, September 2026).
| Action | What is metered | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Successful API call (HTTP 200) | Counts toward plan quota | API docs |
| Failed or rate-limited call | Not counted | API docs |
| Bulk email enrichment job | Up to 5,000 people per call, against a monthly email quota | Changelog |
| Natural-language search | Limited to 5 requests per minute | API docs |
| Scout task creation | Limited to 10 requests per minute, 100 per hour | API docs |
| Funding and investor data | Paid add-on | API docs |
All sources checked September 2026. No dollar value or credit count is printed for any row.
Hidden costs
The visible price is a quote. The costs below come from the plan structure, not a rate card.
- No price before a demo. You cannot budget or compare without a sales call. Harmonic says every customer tries the product before buying (Harmonic guide, July 2025).
- Funding data is an add-on. Detailed funding rounds and investor data cost extra (Harmonic API docs, September 2026).
- CRM sync is an add-on. No-code sync to your CRM is extra on the API plan.
- Scout over API is an add-on. The AI research agent is not in the base API plan.
- Bulk is a separate contract. Weekly warehouse delivery is its own plan, with investor and deal data extra again.
- Seat-based Console. Console is built for teams, so cost grows with seats. Seat counts are not published.
- Rate limits cap throughput. 10 requests per second on most endpoints, and 400 concurrent connections unless support raises it (Harmonic support, February 2024).
- Legacy APIs are retiring. Watchlist and custom-field APIs retire on November 5, 2026 and move to GraphQL-only Workspace (Harmonic changelog, September 2026).
Worked examples
Harmonic prints no price, so the arithmetic below is request volume, which is what the docs let us compute. The docs' paging example asks for 50 results a page, and the API allows 10 requests per second on most endpoints (Harmonic API docs, September 2026).
10k records a month
- Pages: 10,000 / 50 = 200 requests, about 20 seconds at 10 requests per second.
- Plan: API access or Console. No public price.
- LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat. Free covers a one-off 1,000 records first.
1M records a month
- Pages: 1,000,000 / 50 = 20,000 requests, about 2,000 seconds (33 minutes) at the limit.
- Plan: API access, or Bulk data for the whole dataset. No public 1M price.
- Bulk is not a per-record purchase. You get the full 50M+ company and 193M+ people universe, refreshed weekly, for a quoted fee.
- LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat.
POST /v1/exportstakes 50,000 rows a request, so 1M rows is 20 requests over two days.
25M records a month
- Pages: 25,000,000 / 50 = 500,000 requests, about 50,000 seconds (13.9 hours) at 10 requests per second.
- Plan: Bulk data. No public 25M price. At this size Bulk is the only route that fits, since 500,000 API requests a month is a heavy load.
- LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat. Exports stop at 500,000 rows a day and 10,000,000 a period. For a month this size, email support first. Past the fair-usage line a month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off.
Is it worth it
Harmonic is worth it for investors and sales teams that sell to startups and want funding, hiring and founder signals in one app. It is the wrong buy for general B2B contact data pulled in code.
- VC or corporate development: Console is built for this. Network mapping, Scout and the investor data are the product.
- GTM team selling to startups: Console plus the API fits. Budget for add-ons if you need funding rounds or CRM sync.
- Data engineer: API access gives REST, GraphQL and an MCP server at
https://mcp.api.harmonic.ai/(Harmonic MCP guide, September 2026). Check the 10 requests per second limit first. LeadOcean allows 100 requests per second per key. - Anyone who needs a price today: You cannot get one without a demo. A flat public fee is easier to plan around.
- 1M records or more: Expect a bulk quote, not a rate card.

Alternatives with a different price model
These three publish prices: per credit, per profile and flat.
CompanyEnrich: public credit tiers. Starter is $49 a month for 5,000 credits, Pro $149 for 50,000, Scale $549 for 500,000. Company enrichment is 1 credit and company search 1 per company (CompanyEnrich pricing, September 2026). Extra credits are sold at an unpublished price, so there is no public 1M price.
People Data Labs: per profile. Pro starts at $98 a month for 350 credits, $0.28 a credit, or $940 a year billed yearly (PDL pricing, September 2026). Self-serve is meant for under roughly 100,000 profiles a year and no 1M price is published (PDL blog, September 2026). See People Data Labs pricing.
LeadOcean: flat fee. Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 100 requests per second per key and 5 API keys. There are no credits and no overage invoice. It covers 693M people and 63M companies over REST and MCP, and the app has an Exports page with a filter builder and CSV download. It has no sequencer, dialer or CRM. See pricing.
FAQ
Does Harmonic have a free plan?
No. The pricing page lists Console, API access and Bulk data, each with "Get pricing". Harmonic says every customer tries the product before buying, so access starts with a demo (Harmonic guide, July 2025).
How much does the Harmonic API cost?
Harmonic does not publish it. API access is a quoted plan with add-ons for funding data, CRM sync and Scout (Harmonic pricing, September 2026). Ask sales for a quote.
What are Harmonic's API rate limits?
10 requests per second on most endpoints, 5 per minute on natural-language search and 10 per minute on Scout task creation. Over the limit returns HTTP 429 (Harmonic API docs, September 2026).
Does Harmonic have an MCP server?
Yes. The server is https://mcp.api.harmonic.ai/ and it signs in with OAuth. The pricing page lists MCP trial credits on Console and full MCP access on the API plan (Harmonic MCP guide, September 2026).
Can I buy Harmonic's whole dataset?
Yes, as Bulk data. It is delivered weekly to S3, BigQuery or Snowflake, with investor and deal data as add-ons. The price is a quote (Harmonic bulk data overview, September 2026).
What does 1M records cost on Harmonic?
There is no public 1M price. Harmonic publishes no credits or per-record rate, so any figure would be a guess. Ask for a bulk quote.
