ZeroBounce Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits and What 1M Records Cost

The cheapest way in is the Freemium plan: 100 validation credits a month, free. The cheapest paid route is pay as you go, $39 for 2,000 credits, which is also the minimum purchase. A million credits costs $3,199 once, or $2,499 a month on a subscription (ZeroBounce pricing, September 2026).

The pricing page opens on ZeroBounce ONE, a subscription that starts at $99 a month for 10,000 credits and a bundle of deliverability tools. It marks no plan as most popular, so ONE is the plan the page steers you to. Billed yearly it is $79 a month.

One credit validates one email address. ZeroBounce checks addresses you already hold. It does not build the list.

Plans

ZeroBounce sells credits two ways: one-off pay as you go packs and the ZeroBounce ONE subscription. Credits are priced by volume, so the per-credit rate falls as you buy more. The pricing page lists no seat count. Multiple API keys are included on every account (ZeroBounce pricing, September 2026).

ONE includes 100 inbox placement tests, 100 email server tests, 10 blacklist monitors, 1 DMARC domain and 250 warmup actions at the $99 step. The page says credits never expire with an active ONE subscription, and ONE customers get 15% off pay as you go credits.

What a credit buys

Most actions cost one credit. A result of "unknown" costs nothing, and so does removing a duplicate address.

Hidden costs

The headline credit price covers validation only. Everything else is priced in credits or in a bigger plan.

• Small buys cost six times more per credit. The 2,000-credit pack is $0.0195 a credit. The 1M pack is $0.003199.
• Finding an email is 20 credits. At the 10k pay as you go rate that is $0.258 per email found. At the 1M rate it is $0.064.
• Scoring doubles the credit count. Validate and score the same list and you spend two credits per address.
• ONE is a bundle. You pay for inbox tests, blacklist monitors and warmup whether you use them or not. The minimum subscription is $99 a month.
• Credits can expire. For accounts registered after 1 June 2026, the docs say credits never expire with an active ONE subscription. Otherwise they expire two years after the last payment or active subscription day (ZeroBounce docs, September 2026).
• The free plan needs a business domain. The page offers 100 free monthly verifications to sign-ups with a business or premium domain.
• The subscription stops at 1M. The slider ends there. Above it you contact sales, and no price is public.
• Speed is stated, not guaranteed. The docs say allow 45 to 60 minutes per 100,000 contacts (ZeroBounce docs, September 2026).
• No seat price is published. If you need per-user access controls, ask before you buy.

Worked examples

All three examples assume every address returns a billable result, not "unknown". List price, USD. The 1M and 25M figures are arithmetic from the pricing page, not a quote.

10k checks a month

• Pay as you go, 10k pack: $129, which is 10,000 x $0.0129.
• ONE at 10,000 credits: $99 a month, or $79 billed yearly ($948 a year).
• Validate and score: 20,000 credits, or 20,000 x $0.0129 = $258 at the 10k rate.
• LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat, but it does not clean a list you upload. At this volume ZeroBounce is the cheaper way to verify.

1M checks a month

• Pay as you go, 1M pack: $3,199 once, which is 1,000,000 x $0.003199.
• ONE at 1,000,000 credits: $2,499 a month, or $1,999 a month billed yearly.
• Holding 1M a month for a year: 12 x $3,199 = $38,388 on packs, 12 x $2,499 = $29,988 on ONE monthly, about 12 x $1,999 = $23,988 on ONE yearly.
• Processing time: 10 files of 100,000 at 45 to 60 minutes each is 7.5 to 10 hours.
• LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat for 1M records of data, with no per-record price.

25M checks a month

• ONE does not go this high. The slider ends at 1M, and above that is a quote.
• Pay as you go lists a top tier of $0.0026998 a credit for 10M to 50M credits. The page prints a package price only at 10M ($26,998).
• Rate times volume: 25,000,000 x $0.0026998 = $67,495. This is arithmetic, not a quote.
• LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute past the fair-usage line rather than cut off. One email to support gets more headroom.

Is it worth it

ZeroBounce is worth it when you hold a list and need to know which addresses will bounce. You pay per check and nothing else.

• Marketer cleaning a list before a send: The $39 pack covers 2,000 addresses and the 10k pack is $129. Try the 100 free credits first.
• Developer validating sign-ups in real time: The API takes one credit per call. The docs state a limit of 80,000 requests in 10 seconds, or 100,000 on ONE, with a one-minute block if you exceed it (ZeroBounce API docs, September 2026). Batch calls take up to 200 emails.
• Deliverability lead: ONE is the plan. At $99 a month you get the credits and the inbox, blacklist and DMARC tools in one bill.
• RevOps or data engineer at 1M or more: Compare $3,199 once against $2,499 a month. If you clean once, buy the pack. If you clean every month, ONE is cheaper at every step on the page.
• Team that also needs the list: ZeroBounce does not search for people. Finder queries cost 20 credits each, so the lookup is expensive at small volume.

Alternatives with a different price model

These three charge by verification credit, by found email or by flat fee.

Hunter: credits shared with finding. Growth is $149 a month for 10,000 credits, and the verifier costs 0.5 credit a check, so 20,000 checks (Hunter pricing, September 2026, Hunter help center, September 2026). It does not verify a list you upload. It returns 693M people, 366M of them with an email, each carrying an email_status, over REST and MCP.
