ZoomInfo does not publish its prices. Reported quotes start at about $14,995 a year for Professional. Advanced at about $24,995 is where small teams land, and Vendr puts the median contract at $33,500 a year. A million records a month has no list price. At reported overage rates it works out to roughly $251,000 to $500,000 a month.

ZoomInfo's pricing page blocks automated reading with a human check. ZoomInfo does not publish plan prices, credits or seats elsewhere. Every platform figure here is reported by a named third party, with the month checked. See ZoomInfo's page or a sales quote for current prices.

Plans

ZoomInfo sells annual contracts with three seats included. There is no monthly option on the standard plans. Figures below are reported, not quoted by ZoomInfo (FullEnrich, Pin, Cleanlist, September 2026).

ZoomInfo's GTM.AI sells pay-as-you-go data credits at $0.38 each at the $1,000 spend tier, with 1,000 data credits free at signup (GTM.AI pricing, September 2026). ZoomInfo's API docs now live at docs.gtm.ai, so the rebrand is real.

The cheapest plan is Professional, unless the free tier is enough. Most small teams end up on Advanced. Vendr reports a median contract of $33,500 a year, with a range of about $7,200 to $155,700 (Vendr, page updated February 2026, checked September 2026).

What a credit buys

One credit buys one record. A credit is spent when you export a contact or company to CSV or sync it to a CRM (SalesGear, September 2026). Credits do not roll over.

ActionReported credit cost
Standard contact export1 credit
Mobile number reveal1 extra credit
Data enrichment1 to 2 credits
Advanced search filters2 to 3 credits
Same record exported by two users2 credits, one per user

Sources: FullEnrich for actions, AI Ark for duplicates, September 2026. The API docs list rate limits per second, per hour and per day by package, not credit costs per endpoint (docs.gtm.ai, September 2026). Search, lookup and find similar are free. Enriching a company or contact costs 1 data credit the first time in 12 months. Rate limits are 5 requests a second on Builder, 25 on Standard and 35 on Scaling (ZoomInfo credit docs, September 2026; ZoomInfo rate limits, September 2026).

The per-record math is simple. Professional at $14,995 for 5,000 credits is about $3.00 a record. Add the three-seat minimum and reviewers report about $3.90 (Cleanlist, September 2026).

Hidden costs

The platform fee is the smallest line for many teams. These are the lines that move the bill.

  • Extra seats. $1,500 to $2,500 per user a year on Professional and Advanced (FullEnrich). Other reviewers report $3,000 to $8,000 (SalesGear).
  • Credit overages. Reported between $0.20 and $0.60 a credit by SalesGear, $0.25 to $0.50 by Pin, and about $1.10 by Cleanlist. No published rate.
  • Add-ons. Intent data $5,000 to $15,000 a year. Worldwide data about $9,995. Engage (sequences and dialer) about $15,000 (FullEnrich). Engage is excluded from base contracts (Crustdata).
  • API access. About $50,000 a year to start for the Prospecting API (SalesGear, Pin).
  • Auto-renewal. A cancellation window of about 60 days. Missed renewals reactivate at 10 to 20 percent higher pricing (Crustdata).
  • Escalators. 5 to 10 percent a year is common in contracts (Vendr).
  • Data destruction. Exported contacts must be deleted when the contract ends (Pin).

All of these are September 2026 readings. A sales call can change any of them.

Worked examples

These use Advanced at $24,995 a year. Bulk credits are 10,000 a year plus 1,000 a month for each of 3 seats, so 46,000 credits a year. One record is one credit. Overage is priced at Pin's reported $0.25 to $0.50.

The figures are list arithmetic, not a ZoomInfo quote. A real contract at this volume is negotiated.

10k records a month (120,000 a year)

  • Overage credits: 120,000 - 46,000 = 74,000.
  • Overage: 74,000 x $0.25 = $18,500, up to 74,000 x $0.50 = $37,000.
  • Total: $24,995 + $18,500 = $43,495, up to $24,995 + $37,000 = $61,995 a year.
  • About $3,600 to $5,200 a month, or $0.36 to $0.52 a record.

1M records a month (12M a year)

  • Overage credits: 12,000,000 - 46,000 = 11,954,000.
  • Overage: 11,954,000 x $0.25 = $2,988,500, up to x $0.50 = $5,977,000.
  • Total: about $3.01M to $6.00M a year.
  • About $251,000 to $500,000 a month.

25M records a month (300M a year)

  • Overage credits: 300,000,000 - 46,000 = 299,954,000.
  • Overage: 299,954,000 x $0.25 = $74,988,500, up to x $0.50 = $149,977,000.
  • Total: about $75.0M to $150.0M a year.
  • About $6.25M to $12.5M a month.

No one pays that. Buyers at this volume negotiate a custom data contract. The table shows the same volume on a flat fee.

Volume a monthZoomInfo at reported overage ratesLeadOcean Pro
10k records$3,624 to $5,166 a month$499 a month
1M recordsAbout $251,000 to $500,000 a month$499 a month
25M recordsAbout $6.25M to $12.5M a month$499 a month

LeadOcean Pro is flat at $499 a month with no credits and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down past the fair-usage line, to one request a minute until the reset, rather than cut off. One email to support gets more headroom. Details on the pricing page.

Is it worth it

ZoomInfo is worth it when reps live in its app. You pay for a workspace, intent data, sequencing and a CRM sync, not only for rows of data.

  • Enterprise sales team with 10+ reps. Worth a quote. Seat-based pricing suits people who log in every day. Negotiate hard: Vendr reports an average 21.81 percent discount from initial quotes.
  • Small team under 5 reps. Hard to justify. A 5-person Advanced team is about $37,495 a year before add-ons (Cleanlist, September 2026).
  • Developer or data team pulling records by API. Poor fit. The API starts near $50,000 a year on top of the platform, and every record spends a credit.
  • Agency or AI agent workflow at volume. Poor fit. Credits and seats punish high volume. Flat pricing wins.

Alternatives with a different price model

Full comparison on /alternatives/zoominfo and in ZoomInfo alternatives. Three tools, three models.

LeadOcean: flat fee. Free gives 1,000 records one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 100 requests per second per key and a hosted MCP server with 12 tools. It is a data API and an Exports page in the app. It has no sequencer, dialer, CRM or Chrome extension. Pick it when you pull data in code or with an agent.

Apollo: per-seat with credits. Basic is $49, Professional $79 and Organization $119 per seat a month, billed annually, and credits reset each cycle with no rollover (Apollo, September 2026). Sequencing and pipeline tools are included. Pick it for a rep workspace at a fraction of the cost.

UpLead: monthly credit packs. Essentials is $99 a month for 170 credits. Plus is $199 a month for 400 credits. Extra credits are $0.60 each. Full API access needs the custom Professional plan (UpLead, September 2026). Pick it for small, verified lists.
