The cheapest plan is Starter at €29 a month for 500 credits, or €24 a month billed yearly. The page flags Growth as Best Value, so our read is that most teams land there, at €120 a month for 4,000 credits (Dropcontact pricing, October 2026).
One credit buys one verified email. Dropcontact publishes no price for 1M records. The biggest self-serve tier is 150,000 credits a month, and Enterprise starts at 200,000 on a custom quote.
Dropcontact charges only when it finds a verified email. A miss is refunded. The bill still climbs with every email you find, and anything above 150,000 credits needs a sales call.
Plans
Dropcontact sells two self-serve plans, Starter and Growth, plus Enterprise. Each self-serve plan has a credit selector from 500 to 150,000 credits a month. Prices are in euros. The page lists no seat limit, so seats are not a billing line (Dropcontact pricing, October 2026).
| Plan | Price | Credits | Seats | API access | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | 50 free credits | Not listed | Not stated | Try it now button on both plans. |
| Starter | €29 a month (€24 a month billed yearly) | 500 a month | Not listed | Yes, API and MCP | No carry-over listed. |
| Growth | €35 a month (€29 a month billed yearly) | 500 a month | Not listed | Yes, API and MCP | Credits carry over. Adds LinkedIn URL enrichment and company change detection. |
| Enterprise | Custom | From 200,000 a month | Not listed | Yes | Priority enrichment, real-time notifications, dedicated support. |
The credit selector sets the price. This is the full ladder, in euros a month, with the yearly figure billed annually.
| Credits a month | Starter monthly | Starter yearly | Growth monthly | Growth yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 500 | €29 | €24 | €35 | €29 |
| 1,500 | €59 | €49 | €72 | €60 |
| 4,000 | €79 | €66 | €120 | €100 |
| 11,000 | €199 | €166 | €303 | €253 |
| 22,000 | €399 | €333 | €622 | €518 |
| 33,000 | €599 | €499 | €942 | €785 |
| 44,000 | €799 | €666 | €1,264 | €1,053 |
| 66,000 | €1,169 | €974 | €1,891 | €1,576 |
| 100,000 | €1,499 | €1,249 | €2,424 | €2,020 |
| 150,000 | €2,245 | €1,871 | €3,652 | €3,043 |
Source: Dropcontact pricing, October 2026. The yearly toggle shows a -20% badge, but the yearly figures are two months free, which is 16.7% off. Starter at 150,000 credits is €2,245 monthly and €1,871 a month billed yearly (€22,452 a year).
The pricing page also sells a separate CRM enrichment subscription for Pipedrive, Salesforce and HubSpot. Email Finder credits cannot enrich a CRM.
What a credit buys
A credit is consumed in two cases, and the credits policy lists nothing else (Dropcontact API docs, October 2026).
| Action | Credit cost |
|---|---|
| Find a business email (no email in the request) | 1 credit, charged only if a verified email comes back. Refunded on a miss. |
| Verify an email you already hold (email in the request) | 1 credit per address |
| Company data, name-to-domain matching, job cleaning | No charge listed |
| Phone and mobile fields in the response | No charge listed. Coverage is not published. |
| File upload (csv, xls, txt) or one-by-one search | Same credits, drawn from the same monthly quota |
One caveat sits in the docs. If you fetch results early with forceResults=true, unfinished contacts come back unchanged, and you may not be re-credited when Dropcontact finds the email later.
Hidden costs
The per-credit price is the visible part. The rest sits in the details.
- Euro prices. The page does not say whether VAT is included. Convert and add tax before you compare against a dollar price.
- The yearly badge overstates the saving. It says -20%. The numbers are 16.7% off.
- Carry-over costs extra. Credits carry over only on Growth. At the same credit count, Growth is 21% to 63% more than Starter.
- Small tiers are pricey per credit. Starter at 500 credits is €0.058 a credit. At 150,000 it is €0.01497.
- Verification is not free. Checking an existing email costs one credit, so cleaning a 100,000-row CRM export is 100,000 credits.
- You must bring the contact. The API needs a name and a company or website, a LinkedIn URL or an email. It does not search for prospects.
- Batches and polling. One request takes up to 250 contacts. You POST, then GET the result by request ID (Dropcontact API docs, October 2026). A million contacts is 4,000 requests.
- Rate limit. 60 requests per second. The docs list a 403 when a token exceeds its quota.
- Nothing public above 150,000 credits. Larger volume means Enterprise and a custom price.
Worked examples
All three examples assume one credit per email found, at list price. Dropcontact reports a 54.9% real usable email rate in its own 2025 benchmark of 20,000 contacts (Dropcontact benchmark, October 2026). The CEO of Dropcontact ran that test and says so on the page. A lower hit rate means fewer credits used.
10k records a month
- Credits needed: 10,000, or about 5,490 at a 54.9% hit rate.
- Both need the 11,000-credit tier. 4,000 is too small.
- Starter: €199 a month, or €166 a month billed yearly (€1,992 a year).
- Growth: €303 a month, or €253 billed yearly.
- LeadOcean Pro: $499 a month flat. At this volume Dropcontact is cheaper, in a different currency.
1M records a month
- Credits needed: 1,000,000. That is 6.7 times the biggest self-serve tier of 150,000.
- No public 1M price. Enterprise starts at 200,000 credits and the price is custom.
- The reference point is 150,000 credits: €2,245 on Starter, €3,652 on Growth.
- Ask Dropcontact for a quote at 1M. We do not multiply a rate out to a figure it has not published.
- LeadOcean Pro: $499 a month flat.
25M records a month
- Credits needed: 25,000,000. That is 167 times the biggest self-serve tier, and 100,000 batches of 250.
- No public 25M price. Enterprise only, on a custom quote.
- LeadOcean Pro: $499 a month flat. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute past the fair-usage line rather than cut off. One email to support gets more headroom.
| Records a month | Dropcontact | LeadOcean |
|---|---|---|
| 10k | €199 (Starter) or €303 (Growth) | $499 a month, flat |
| 1M | No public 1M price | $499 a month, flat |
| 25M | No public 25M price | $499 a month, flat |
The units differ. A LeadOcean record is a person or company returned. A Dropcontact credit is a verified email found for a contact you send. LeadOcean also lets you search for the people first, which Dropcontact does not.
Is it worth it
Dropcontact is worth it when you already hold a list and need clean, verified business emails. You pay per email found and a miss costs nothing.
- Solo founder or freelancer: Starter at €29 to €79 a month covers a small list. Use the 50 free credits first.
- SDR team with a messy list: Growth at 4,000 to 11,000 credits adds carry-over and LinkedIn URL enrichment. Seats are not a billing line.
- European buyer with a data-protection review: Dropcontact says processing runs on its own algorithms on EU-based servers and cites a CNIL audit (Dropcontact pricing, October 2026). That is its claim, so ask for the paperwork.
- RevOps or data engineer: The API and MCP server are on Starter and up. Expect batches of 250, polling and a 60 requests per second ceiling.
- High volume, 1M or more: There is no public price. A flat fee is easier to forecast.

Alternatives with a different price model
These three charge by found-email ladder, by one-time pack or by flat fee.
Icypeas: a published ladder to 10M credits. The 1,000,000-credit tier is $3,992 a month, or $3,326.67 a month billed yearly. One credit buys one found email from a name and a domain (Icypeas pricing, September 2026). See Icypeas pricing.
Anymail Finder: one-time packs. The 1,000,000-credit pack is $4,990 once, valid 12 months, at $0.0050 a credit. A credit buys one valid email, and searches that find nothing are free (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). See Anymail Finder pricing.
LeadOcean: flat fee. Free is 1,000 records one-off with no card. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 100 requests per second per key and 5 API keys. There are no credits and no overage invoice. It covers 693M people and 63M companies over REST and MCP, and the app has an Exports page with a filter builder and CSV download. It has no sequencer, dialer or CRM. See pricing.
