People leave Findymail when an email finder has to behave like a data pipeline. It bills one Finder credit per verified email and 10 per phone number (Findymail API docs, September 2026). The phone finder returns US numbers only and nothing for EU citizens. Findymail's pricing page blocks automated reading, so no plan price is quoted here. Check Findymail's pricing page for current plans. Lead search is a plain-language query capped at 5,000 companies per call. Some endpoints allow only 5 or 30 requests at a time. That suits a rep feeding a sequencer. It is a tight fit for code or an agent that pulls millions of records, because the bill rises with every email found.
This page ranks seven alternatives for API and volume buyers. LeadOcean is first because it has one flat price, no credits and an MCP server that returns records. For a two-column view, see LeadOcean vs Findymail. If you only care about the API, read Findymail API alternatives.
TL;DR
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Cost at 1M records a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeadOcean | API, agent and volume buyers | Free (1,000 records, one-off). Pro $499 a month | $499 a month flat. Fair use applies |
| Icypeas | Cheap found emails at high credit volume | Basic $19 a month for 1,000 credits | $3,992 a month at list price, or $3,326.67 a month billed yearly |
| Anymail Finder | Verified emails, no stated rate limit, bounce refunds | $29 a month for 400 credits | $4,990 one-time for the 1M pack |
| LeadMagic | Low per-credit price with search included | Essential $99 a month for 5,000 credits | No public price at 1M. Top tier is Ultimate, $849 a month for 100,000 credits |
| FullEnrich | Waterfall emails and mobiles behind an API | Pro $29 a month for 500 credits | No public price at 1M. Top tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month |
| Prospeo | Reps who want an extension and CRM sync | Starter $49 per user a month | $14,456 a month for 1,010,000 credits (44 Pro seats plus an add-on), or $11,223 billed yearly |
| Hunter | Domain search and outreach in one tool | Starter $49 a month, $34 billed yearly | $6,900 one-off for 1,000,000 Search credits on Data Platform, valid 12 months |
"1M records" here means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. Figures are list prices. Where a vendor sells no plan at 1M, the cell says so. Enterprise quotes differ, so ask each vendor at your volume.
What we evaluated
- API access: which plan opens it, the endpoints that return people and emails, and the default rate limit.
- MCP: whether an agent can search and enrich through the server, or only read documentation.
- Price model: flat, credits or seats, and what 1M records a month costs at list price.
- Data: stated coverage, email and phone fields, and search filters.
- Limits that bite: plan caps, expiring credits, phone coverage and fair-use clauses.
We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. We ran no find-rate or accuracy test for this page, so we quote no quality numbers. Accuracy claims below are the vendors' own.
1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers
LeadOcean is one dataset behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. You search with 50 people filters and 34 company filters. Counts are free. Enrichment is POST /v1/people/enrich, phones are GET /v2/people/phone, and exports run up to 50,000 rows per request.
The price does not move with volume. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 5 API keys and 100 requests per second per key. There are no credits and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off. More headroom is one email to support.
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/enrich" \
-H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe","reveal_email":true}'The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 12 tools, from search_leads to find_phone and export_leads. Claude, Cursor or your own agent can pull records directly. count_leads is free, so you can size an audience before you pull it. Findymail returns at most 5 contacts per employee call. GET /v1/companies/{domain}/people returns up to 10,000 rows.
Pros
- Flat $499 a month at any volume, with no credit meter.
- REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
- Email status on every record, from
verifiedtospam_trap. - Search by 50 people filters, so you build the list before you ask for an address.
- A miss on
POST /v1/people/enrichis a free 404.
Cons
- No Chrome extension, sequencer or push to Instantly and Smartlead. You work in the app's export page, the API or MCP.
- We publish no bounce guarantee. You read the email status and decide what to send.
- One dataset, so a niche source needs another tool.
Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need volume and a fixed bill.
Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).
2. Icypeas: best for cheap found emails at high credit volume
Icypeas is an email finder and verifier sold in credits. Email Finder costs 1 credit per found email, the verifier 0.1 credit, and Find People 0.02 credit per result (Icypeas pricing, September 2026). Credits roll over with no expiry, and the pricing page lists API access and MCP on every plan.
Entry prices are low. Basic is $19 a month for 1,000 credits. Premium is $39 for 4,000, Advanced is $89 for 10,000 and Hypergrowth is $499 for 100,000. That last plan is the same price as LeadOcean Pro and buys 100,000 found emails. The credit selector on the pricing page lists volume tiers: 20K credits $178, 30K $267, 50K $445, 100K $499, 200K $998, 500K $2,245.50, 1M $3,992 and 10M $34,930 a month. The yearly selector runs to 120M credits for $349,300 a year. A yearly 12M-credit block is $39,920, or $3,326.67 a month.
Icypeas is built for single lookups, and the pace shows. Email search allows 10 calls a second. Bulk search takes up to 5,000 rows per call, at 1 call a second (Icypeas docs, September 2026). Bulk is asynchronous: you submit, then poll by id (Icypeas docs, September 2026). The Phone Finder is listed as coming soon. The hosted MCP server has 21 tools and signs in with your API key (Icypeas guide, September 2026).
Pros
- The lowest entry price here, from $19 a month.
- Credits never expire, even if you downgrade or cancel.
- Catch-all verification is included, and the MCP server covers find, verify and search.
- Search results cost 0.02 credit each, so narrowing a list is cheap.
Cons
- No phone finder yet.
- Bulk search is async, 5,000 rows per call and one call a second.
- Credits are the meter: 1M work-email lookups cost $3,992 a month at list price, against LeadOcean's flat $499.
- Search has 10+ people filters and 9 company filters, far fewer than a database API.
Best for: teams that know the name and domain and want the cheapest found emails.
Pricing: Basic $19, Premium $39, Advanced $89, Hypergrowth $499 a month, plus volume tiers up to 10M credits at $34,930 a month (Icypeas pricing, September 2026).
3. Anymail Finder: best for verified emails with no stated rate limit
Anymail Finder is the closest swap for Findymail's core job. You send a name and a company. It checks the address live against the mail server, and you pay one credit only when a verified email comes back (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). A decision-maker search costs 2 credits. A company search returns up to 20 verified emails for 1 credit.
It has a bounce guarantee. Report a verified email that bounces and the credit is returned. Subscription credits roll over while you stay subscribed, and a repeat search within 30 days is free. Monthly plans run from $29 for 400 credits to $799 for 100,000. One-time packs go higher, to 1M credits valid for 12 months.
The 1M pack is $4,990 one-time, $0.00499 a credit (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). These are USD list prices from the USD view. The page shows Canadian dollars to visitors in Canada.
For code, the docs state no rate limit and no daily or hourly cap (Anymail Finder docs, September 2026). One bulk job takes up to 100,000 rows (Anymail Finder bulk docs, September 2026). The MCP server is at https://api.anymailfinder.com/mcp (Anymail Finder API page, September 2026). It covers email find and verify. There is no database search and no phone endpoint.
Pros
- Live verification and a refund when a verified email bounces.
- No rate limit stated in the docs, and bulk jobs of 100,000 rows.
- You pay nothing on a risky, blacklisted or not-found result.
- Unlimited team members and a company search that returns up to 20 emails for 1 credit.
Cons
- Email only: no phone endpoint, no company data and no filter search.
- The 1M figure is a one-time pack, not a monthly plan. The top monthly plan is 100,000 credits.
Best for: teams that want a simple, pay-on-success verified email API and a bounce refund.
Pricing: Monthly plans from $29 for 400 credits to $799 for 100,000, plus one-time packs. USD list prices; the page shows CAD to visitors in Canada (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).
4. LeadMagic: best for a low per-credit price with search included
LeadMagic is a credit-based enrichment API. It lists 400M+ people profiles and 25M+ companies, and reaches them through REST, CSV, a command-line tool and a hosted MCP server (LeadMagic, September 2026). Failed lookups cost nothing.
Its pages show "credits from $0.007", billed annually. Monthly list plans are Essential at $99 for 5,000 credits and Professional at $499 for 50,000. Ultimate is $849 for 100,000, which is $0.00849 a credit (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). A valid email costs 1 credit and a mobile 5. Searching in the app spends no credits on any paid plan. In the API, Essential and Growth bill about 1 credit per person returned, and Professional and Ultimate get zero-credit search (LeadMagic docs, September 2026).
The Email Finder endpoint allows 600 requests a minute. LeadMagic also states that a sustained find rate below 10% can lead to throttling or suspension (LeadMagic docs, September 2026). Bad input lists carry a real risk. The MCP server uses OAuth, and a preview_cost call shows the price of a large job first (LeadMagic docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Mobiles cost 5 credits, half of Findymail's 10.
- No charge when an email is not found.
- Search is free in the app on every paid plan, and free in the API on Professional and Ultimate.
- Hosted MCP with a cost preview before large operations.
Cons
- The top public plan is 100,000 credits, so 1M a month has no public price. At Ultimate's rate it would be about $8,490 a month, if sold at that volume.
- A minimum find-rate policy can throttle lists with poor match rates.
- A smaller stated database: 400M+ people profiles.
Best for: teams that enrich a few hundred thousand valid emails a month and want cheap credits.
Pricing: Essential $99, Growth $249, Professional $499, Ultimate $849 a month. Annual billing is cheaper (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026).
5. FullEnrich: best for waterfall emails and mobiles behind an API
FullEnrich asks 25+ sources for each contact and charges only for data it finds (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Its pricing page lists API access, people and company search with 30+ filters and an MCP server on Pro. It lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CCPA.
Credits are the meter. A work email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a mobile 10 (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Pro starts at $29 a month for 500 credits, or $26 a month billed yearly. The default step is $55 a month for 1,000 credits, which is $0.055 each. Bigger steps cost less: the 15K step is $720, or $0.048 a credit, and the top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month. Credits roll over for 3 months on monthly plans.
The API allows 60 calls a minute, with up to 100 contacts in a bulk request. Custom limits are an Enterprise feature (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). The MCP server can search, enrich and export, and it asks you before it spends credits (FullEnrich help, September 2026).
Pros
- Waterfall across 25+ sources, so one call can cover several vendors.
- Mobiles are not limited to US numbers in the pricing table.
- Search, enrichment and export in the MCP server.
- Unlimited users on Pro.
Cons
- Mobiles cost 10 credits each, the same as Findymail's phone finder.
- The default API limit is 60 calls a minute.
- No public price at 1M. The top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month ($0.035 a credit), then contact sales.
Best for: teams that want waterfall contact data, mostly mobiles, through an API or an agent.
Pricing: Pro from $29 a month for 500 credits. Enterprise custom (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).
6. Prospeo: best for reps who want an extension and CRM sync
Prospeo is an email and mobile finder priced per user. A verified email costs 1 credit and a mobile 10 (Prospeo help, September 2026). A lookup with no result costs nothing. Credits do not roll over: the pricing page says they reset on renewal (Prospeo pricing, September 2026).
Free gives 100 credits a month. Starter is $49 per user for 2,000 credits a month, Growth is $99 for 5,000 and Pro is $249 for 15,000. Billed yearly they drop 25%. Credit add-ons start at 500 credits for $10 on monthly billing, per the add-on slider, though the pricing FAQ says 1,000 for $10. Every paid plan is priced per user, so a team pays for seats and credits.
For code, the limits are tied to the plan. The enrich API allows 5 requests a second on Starter and 30 on Pro. Daily caps are 2,000, 5,000 and 500,000 by plan (Prospeo rate limits, September 2026). The hosted MCP server has 8 tools and signs in with OAuth 2.0 or an API key (Prospeo MCP docs, September 2026). Free plan API access is disputed: the pricing table shows no API on Free, while Prospeo's help center lists limited access of 50 requests a day (Prospeo help, September 2026). The API docs intro says free API access for all users (Prospeo API docs, September 2026). Prospeo does not settle this in one place, so test a Free key before you plan on it.
Pros
- A Chrome extension on every plan, plus HubSpot and Salesforce sync on Growth and Pro.
- Job change tracking and intent topics.
- Re-enriching the same record within 90 days is free.
Cons
- Per-user pricing plus a credit meter.
- Credits expire at renewal.
- Daily request caps: 2,000 enrich calls on Starter.
Best for: reps and small teams that prospect in a browser and sync to a CRM.
Pricing: Free, then Starter $49, Growth $99, Pro $249 per user a month, 25% less billed yearly (Prospeo pricing, September 2026).
7. Hunter: best for domain search and outreach in one tool
Hunter is an email finder with outreach attached, priced in credits. One credit is one email found, and a verification costs half a credit (Hunter pricing, September 2026). Its homepage cites 150,430,313 verified email addresses. It ranks last because the core calls start from a domain and the all-in-one plans stop at 25,000 credits a month.
Free gives 50 credits a month. Starter is $49 ($34 billed yearly), Growth is $149 ($104 yearly) and Scale is $299 ($209 yearly). Scale includes 300,000 credits a year, or 25,000 a month. API and MCP are listed on every plan. Bigger pulls mean Enterprise or the API-only Data Platform, which sells 1,000,000 Search credits for $6,900, bought once and valid 12 months.
Rate limits are per endpoint. Email Finder and Domain Search allow 15 requests a second and 500 a minute, and Verifier allows 10 a second (Hunter API docs, September 2026). Domain Search returns 100 results at most per call. The MCP server uses your plan credits (Hunter MCP, September 2026).
Pros
- Sequences, a browser extension and a Sheets add-on in the same account.
- Unlimited team members on every plan.
- MCP and API on every plan, including Free.
Cons
- The top self-serve plan is 25,000 credits a month.
- Domain-first lookups make market-wide list building slow.
- Six verifier statuses, fewer than a database API returns.
Best for: teams that find emails by domain and send from the same tool.
Pricing: Free, Starter $49, Growth $149, Scale $299 a month, or about 30% less billed yearly (Hunter pricing, September 2026).

Sources are linked in each tool section, all checked in September 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm on the pricing page before you buy. The 1M column is list price for 1M work-email lookups. LeadMagic and FullEnrich sell no public plan at 1M, so their top public tiers are named instead. Prospeo is the cheapest public path: 44 Pro seats plus the 350,000-credit add-on on monthly billing, or 3 Pro seats plus the 500,000-credit yearly add-on, billed once. Hunter's figure is its Data Platform price for 1,000,000 Search credits, bought once and valid 12 months.
