Icypeas is the cheaper tool for work emails, and you can price it at every volume. FullEnrich is the one to pick when you need mobile numbers and a waterfall of 25+ sources, and it publishes no price at 1M records.
All figures were checked in September 2026, each with its source link. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the page says so.
Verdict
- Pick FullEnrich if you need mobile numbers and want a waterfall to hunt for them. It charges 10 credits for a mobile and nothing when none is found (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Keep volume under 100,000 credits a month, because that is where its public prices stop.
- Pick Icypeas if you hold names and company domains and want work emails at the lowest published price. The 1,000,000-credit tier is $3,992 a month (Icypeas pricing, September 2026). It has no live phone finder yet.
- Pick neither if you want search by filter, phones and emails on one flat plan, and a fast API. LeadOcean covers that. It does not run a waterfall and it does not verify lists you bring.

Data and coverage
FullEnrich's own database claim is larger. Its pricing page lists 800M people and 50M companies for search, and Icypeas quotes 575M professionals and 62M companies (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026; Icypeas features, September 2026). Ignore the 1.6B on FullEnrich's homepage. That is a customer quote about coverage, not a database size.
The two tools get contacts in different ways. FullEnrich queries 25+ data sources in sequence for each email and phone, then verifies the result. It says about 30% of raw data is removed by verification (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026). Icypeas finds an email from a name and a domain, and it validates catch-all domains, including Google and Microsoft ones.
Phones are the clearest gap. FullEnrich sells a mobile at 10 credits and charges nothing for a miss or a landline. Icypeas quotes 280M phone numbers, but its credit table lists Phone Finder as coming soon (Icypeas docs, September 2026). Test it before you plan a mobile campaign around that figure.
Email coverage is hard to compare. Neither tool publishes a count of people with an email. FullEnrich states an average find rate near 80%. Icypeas states 1.8B emails, which counts addresses and overstates the people you can reach.
For search, Icypeas has Find People and Find Companies at 0.02 credits per result, with free counts and 10+ people filters (Icypeas features, September 2026). FullEnrich search costs 0.25 credits per person returned and returns no emails or phones with it (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Icypeas is far cheaper for browsing.
API and developer experience
Both take a name and a company domain, and both are asynchronous at volume. FullEnrich also accepts a LinkedIn URL and says that adds 5 to 20% to email find rates and 10 to 60% to mobile find rates (FullEnrich docs, September 2026).
FullEnrich, start a bulk enrichment for one contact. The request takes up to 100.
curl --request POST \
--url "https://app.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk" \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $FULLENRICH_API_KEY" \
--header "Content-Type: application/json" \
--data '{
"name": "Jane Doe",
"webhook_url": "https://example.com/webhook",
"data": [{
"first_name": "Jane",
"last_name": "Doe",
"domain": "acme.com",
"enrich_fields": ["contact.work_emails", "contact.phones"]
}]
}'You get the result on your webhook. The docs recommend the webhook over polling by enrichment id. That suits a batch job. It is awkward inside a user-facing request.
Icypeas, single email search, from its docs, with placeholders:
curl -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Authorization: $ICYPEAS_API_KEY" \
https://app.icypeas.com/api/email-search \
-d '{"firstname":"Jane","lastname":"Doe","domainOrCompany":"acme.com"}'It returns an _id, not the email. You wait a few seconds, then read the result by id from a second route. The docs tell you to use bulk search, not this route, for many lookups.
Rate limits favor Icypeas on single calls. FullEnrich allows 60 calls a minute and 100 contacts per bulk call, so 6,000 contacts a minute, and 1,000,000 / 6,000 = 167 minutes, about 2.8 hours. Calls over the limit return HTTP 429 until the next calendar minute (FullEnrich docs, September 2026).
Icypeas allows 10 calls a second on email search. 1M lookups take 100,000 seconds, about 27.8 hours. Through bulk search at 5,000 rows a call, it is 200 calls at one a second. Icypeas says limits can change at any time (Icypeas docs, September 2026).
Both have a hosted MCP server on every plan. FullEnrich's covers search, enrichment and export, and search is a free preview of the first 10 results plus the total (FullEnrich help, September 2026). Icypeas's has 21 tools.
Pricing
Both bill per credit and charge only for a hit. Prices below show the monthly list first, then the billed-yearly figure. Both examples assume every lookup finds a work email, which is the worst case for each.
At 10,000 records a month
- FullEnrich: 10,000 credits cost $499 a month, which is $499 / 10,000 = $0.0499 a lookup. Billed yearly, 120,000 credits a year cost $454 a month ($5,448 a year) (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026).
- Icypeas Advanced: 10,000 credits cost $89 a month, which is $89 / 10,000 = $0.0089 a lookup. Billed yearly, 120,000 credits cost $890 a year, which is $74.17 a month (Icypeas pricing, September 2026).
For work emails, FullEnrich costs $499 / $89 = 5.6 times as much at this size. The gap closes only if you need what Icypeas lacks. A contact with a work email and a mobile is 11 FullEnrich credits. So 1,000 such contacts need 11,000 credits, and the nearest tier above is 15,000 credits for $720 a month.
At 1M records a month
- FullEnrich: No public 1M price. The top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month ($0.035 a credit), and above that the page says contact sales. The yearly toggle lists 1,200,000 credits a year for $37,800 billed yearly (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026). FullEnrich does not say whether yearly credits arrive upfront or month by month, so that tier is not a confirmed path to 1M lookups in one month.
- Icypeas: the 1,000,000-credit tier is $3,992 a month, which is $0.003992 a credit. Billed yearly, 12M credits cost $39,920, which is $39,920 / 12 = $3,326.67 a month for 1M credits. Prices are plus VAT (Icypeas pricing, September 2026).
We do not multiply FullEnrich's top rate out to 1M, because FullEnrich does not sell that volume at a listed price. Ask for a quote. Icypeas keeps its tiers in a credit selector that the text view of the page hides, so check the live selector before you buy.
Terms differ too. FullEnrich credits roll over 3 months on monthly plans and 12 on annual ones. Icypeas credits roll over with no expiry, even after a downgrade or cancellation (FullEnrich pricing; Icypeas pricing, September 2026).
Where FullEnrich wins
- Mobile numbers. It sells them today, with a waterfall behind each lookup, and a miss is free.
- A bigger stated database. 800M people and 50M companies, against 575M and 62M.
- Up to 100 contacts per bulk call. A LinkedIn URL also returns profile fields, and a repeat lookup of the same contact within 3 months costs 0 credits (FullEnrich docs, September 2026).
- Users and API on every plan. Users are unlimited, and the API, MCP, search and bulk CSV are on the free trial too (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026).
Its weak points are a price per email that is about five times higher at 10,000 a month, 60 calls a minute and no public price at 1M.
Where Icypeas wins
- Price. Every tier is printed, from Basic at $19 to 10M credits at $34,930 a month, and 1M work emails cost $3,992.
- Rate limit on single calls. 10 calls a second on email search, against 60 a minute.
- Rollover. Unused credits never expire.
- Cheap search and verification. Find People is 0.02 credits per result, and a verifier check is 0.1 credit.
Its weak points are no live phone finder, polling for results and a smaller index.
If you need volume through an API
LeadOcean is a third option if neither fits. Free gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, and no credits or per-record price (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).
It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. REST runs at 100 requests per second per key, and a hosted MCP server with 12 tools runs on every plan (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026).
For bulk pulls, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request. The app has an Exports page with a filter builder, a price preview and CSV download (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). It does not run a waterfall and it does not verify lists you bring. See pricing for the detail.
FAQ
Is FullEnrich cheaper than Icypeas?
No, for work emails. At 10,000 lookups a month FullEnrich is $499 and Icypeas is $89 (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026; Icypeas pricing, September 2026). Icypeas also publishes a 1M price, and FullEnrich does not.
Which one finds phone numbers?
FullEnrich does, at 10 credits per mobile. Icypeas lists Phone Finder as coming soon in its credit table (Icypeas docs, September 2026). If mobiles decide the purchase, test FullEnrich first.
Does either tool have an MCP server?
Both do, on every plan. FullEnrich's signs in with OAuth and covers search, enrichment and export (FullEnrich help, September 2026). Icypeas's is at https://mcp.icypeas.com/mcp, with 21 tools and API key sign-in.
Which API is faster for bulk work?
FullEnrich handles 6,000 contacts a minute, about 2.8 hours for 1M. Icypeas bulk search takes 5,000 rows a call at one call a second (Icypeas docs, September 2026). Both return results later, not in the same call.
Do unused credits roll over?
Yes on both. FullEnrich rolls credits over for 3 months on monthly plans and 12 on annual plans. Icypeas credits never expire (FullEnrich pricing; Icypeas pricing, September 2026).
What if I want neither credit meter?
Use a flat plan. LeadOcean Pro is $499 a month with no credits, and Free gives you 1,000 records to test it (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026). See FullEnrich alternatives for more options.
