FullEnrich is a waterfall enrichment tool that asks 25+ data sources for each email and phone, and bills credits for what it finds (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). LeadOcean is one dataset you call over REST or MCP at $499 a month. If you need mobile numbers on a few thousand contacts, FullEnrich is strong. If you pull millions of records in code or through an agent, LeadOcean costs far less.
Why teams switch from FullEnrich
Every email and phone is a credit
FullEnrich charges 1 credit for a work email, 3 for a personal email and 10 for a mobile phone (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). A contact with a work email and a mobile costs 11 credits. Cost grows with every field you ask for.
Search is metered too
Search costs 0.25 credits per person or company returned, and the results carry no emails or phones (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). You pay to browse, then pay again to enrich the same people.
The API is throttled for batch work
The default limit is 60 API calls per minute, with up to 100 contacts per request (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Enrichment is asynchronous: you start a batch, then wait for a webhook or poll for the result.
The price tiers stop at 100K credits
The Pro slider runs from 500 to 100K credits a month (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Past that you negotiate an Enterprise contract. A million records a month is ten times the top of the slider.
LeadOcean vs FullEnrich
| LeadOcean | FullEnrich | |
|---|---|---|
| Price model | Flat monthly fee. No credits, no per-record price, no overage invoice. | Monthly credit plan. Credits are spent per email, phone and search result (FullEnrich pricing). |
| Entry price | Free plan, 1,000 records one-off, no card. | Free trial with 50 credits, no card (FullEnrich pricing). |
| Paid plan | Pro: $499 a month. Unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, whole database, 5 API keys. | Pro from $29 a month for 500 credits, or $26 a month billed yearly. The default tier is $55 for 1,000 credits, which is $0.055 a credit (FullEnrich pricing). |
| Larger volumes | Same $499. Paced down past the fair-usage line. | Slider up to 100K credits a month for $3,500, then contact sales (FullEnrich pricing). |
| Annual billing | Not needed. One price, cancel any time. | Annual billing available, with credit rollover of 12 months instead of 3 (FullEnrich pricing). Annual billing is about 10% cheaper and grants credits per year with 12-month rollover, for example 12,000 credits a year is $49 a month ($588 a year) against $55 a month for 1,000 credits billed monthly (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). |
| Work email | Counts as one record, inside the flat fee. | 1 credit per deliverable, high-probability or catch-all email (FullEnrich docs). |
| Mobile phone | Phone endpoint GET /v2/people/phone. 166M people with a phone number. | 10 credits per mobile phone (FullEnrich docs). |
| Search cost | Counts are free. Each person returned is one record, inside the flat fee. | 0.25 credits per person or company returned (FullEnrich docs). |
| Records | 693M people, 63M companies, one dataset. | 800M people and 50M companies in search (FullEnrich pricing). The 1.6B figure on its homepage is a customer quote about coverage, not a database size (FullEnrich MCP page). |
| Data sources | One dataset. | 25+ sources queried in sequence (FullEnrich pricing). |
| REST API | On every plan, including Free. x-api-key header. | On every plan. Bulk enrichment is async, with Bearer auth (FullEnrich docs). |
| Rate limit | 100 requests per second per key, every plan. | 60 API calls per minute by default, 100 contacts per request (FullEnrich docs). Calls over the limit are rejected until the next calendar minute starts, with HTTP 429 and the error code error.rate.limit (FullEnrich docs, September 2026; error format). |
| MCP server | Yes, OAuth 2.1, on every plan. 12 tools. | Yes, OAuth sign-in. Search, enrich and export (FullEnrich help). |
| MCP search preview | count_leads is free and returns the exact audience size. | First 10 results plus the total count at no cost (FullEnrich help). |
| Email status on every record | Yes. 13 status values, from verified to spam_trap. | 4 documented values: deliverable, high probability, catch-all, invalid (FullEnrich docs). |
| Search filters | 50 people filters, 34 company filters. | 30+ filters (FullEnrich pricing). |
| Bulk export | POST /v1/exports, 50,000 rows per request. | CSV and JSON export through MCP (FullEnrich help). |
| Miss on a lookup | A 404 on POST /v1/people/enrich that costs nothing. | No credits when nothing is found (FullEnrich docs). |
| Repeat lookups | Every person returned counts as a record. | Same contact re-enriched within 3 months costs 0 credits (FullEnrich docs). |
| Cost of a very large month | Same $499. Paced down past the fair-usage line. | Enterprise, custom quote (FullEnrich pricing). |
| No-code integrations | API, MCP and CSV export. | HubSpot, Zapier, Make, n8n and Clay (FullEnrich). |
| Setup | Sign up, copy a key, send one request. | Sign up, build the request with enrich_fields, then handle a webhook or poll. |
| Who it suits | Engineers, RevOps and agents that need volume and a fixed bill. | Teams that want waterfall-verified mobiles on a modest monthly volume. |

What 1M, 5M and 25M records cost
FullEnrich prices per credit, so cost scales with volume. LeadOcean Pro stays at $499 a month. FullEnrich has no public price at these volumes. Its top public tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month, and above that you contact sales. Ask FullEnrich for a quote at your volume.
| Records a month | FullEnrich, work email only (1 credit) | FullEnrich, work email and mobile (11 credits) | LeadOcean |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1M | No public price. Top public tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month. | No public price. Contact sales. | $499 a month. |
| 5M | No public price. Contact sales. | No public price. Contact sales. | $499 a month. |
| 25M | No public price. Contact sales. | No public price. Contact sales. | $499 a month. Past fair use, one email raises the headroom. |
Work email is 1 credit and mobile is 10 (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). The yearly toggle lists 1,200,000 credits a year for $37,800 billed yearly, which is $0.0315 a credit (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). At list rate, if sold at that volume, 1M credits at the top monthly rate of $0.035 would be $35,000 a month. The $0.055 rate is the 1,000-credit tier, not the cheapest path.
On monthly billing the price per credit is $0.051 at 5,000 credits ($255), $0.050 at 10,000 ($499) and $0.048 at 15,000 ($720). It is $0.046 at 25,000 ($1,150), $0.039 at 50,000 ($1,950) and $0.035 at 100,000 ($3,500) (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).
A million records needs 1M credits a month. The Pro slider tops out at 100K, so these volumes need a sales quote. Real spend also depends on your hit rate, because you pay only for what FullEnrich finds.
The calculator below uses $0.035 a credit, the top public monthly rate. It is an illustration, not a price at volume.

Where LeadOcean wins
A flat bill at any volume
Pro is $499 a month. Every person or company returned counts as a record, but there is no credit balance to watch and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off, and one email to support gets you more headroom.
Search and enrichment in the same bill
On FullEnrich you pay 0.25 credits to see a person, then credits to enrich them. On LeadOcean, counting an audience is free and searching it sits inside the flat fee. You can size a segment, pull it and enrich it without watching a meter.
Built for code and agents at speed
The limit is 100 requests per second per key on every plan, including Free. FullEnrich defaults to 60 calls a minute. One request returns a profile, email status and, with reveal_email, every email and phone number we hold, for one record.
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/enrich" \
-H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe","reveal_email":true}'For Claude or Cursor, add the MCP URL https://api.leadocean.io/mcp and sign in with OAuth. No key gets pasted into a chat. Both tools have an MCP server, but LeadOcean's has 12 tools and one flat price behind it.
One schema with 13 email statuses
LeadOcean holds 693M people and 63M companies in one database. Email status comes back on every record, with 13 values from verified and catch_all_valid to risky and spam_trap. FullEnrich documents four. You filter your own risk line instead of accepting a waterfall's.
Where FullEnrich wins
Waterfall coverage on mobile numbers
FullEnrich asks 25+ sources in sequence, so a miss at one is a hit at the next. That is the right design for mobile numbers, where one dataset has gaps. LeadOcean has 166M people with a phone number, and it is one source. If you need every mobile you can get on a short list, FullEnrich will find more.
A larger people database
FullEnrich's pricing page lists 800M people and 50M companies in search (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). LeadOcean has 693M people and 63M companies. On people FullEnrich is ahead, and outside our coverage you may find people we lack. Its homepage and MCP page also carry a customer quote about 1.6B contacts, which is about coverage, not database size. We have not tested either figure.
Verification and repeat lookups
FullEnrich triple-verifies work emails and validates mobiles against the carrier network. Re-enriching the same contact within 3 months is free, and credits roll over for 3 months on monthly plans.
Use both: LeadOcean first, FullEnrich for the gaps
You do not have to pick one. Pull and enrich everything from LeadOcean at a flat price, then spend FullEnrich credits only on the rows with no mobile number. You pay per credit for the hard cases, not the whole list.
- Create a free LeadOcean key at app.leadocean.io/register. The free plan needs no card.
- Search your audience, then call
POST /v1/people/enrichwithreveal_emailset to true. Keepemail_statusand any phones returned. - Send the LinkedIn URLs of rows with no phone to FullEnrich's bulk enrichment endpoint with
enrich_fieldsset tocontact.phones. Batches go up to 100 contacts per request.
FAQ
Is LeadOcean a full FullEnrich replacement?
For email, company data and search at volume, yes. For waterfall mobile coverage, not fully. If mobiles on a short list are the whole job, FullEnrich will return more. If you need volume and a fixed bill, LeadOcean is enough.
How much does FullEnrich cost?
Pro starts at $29 a month for 500 credits. The default tier is $55 for 1,000 credits, which is $0.055 a credit. A work email is 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a mobile 10 (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Higher volumes are cheaper per credit, and the slider stops at 100K credits for $3,500 a month.
Does FullEnrich have an API or an MCP server?
Both. The API has bulk enrichment, reverse email lookup and search, and it is rate limited to 60 calls a minute by default. The MCP server uses OAuth and covers search, enrich and export (FullEnrich help, September 2026).
Does FullEnrich charge for results it cannot find?
No. Credits are spent only when FullEnrich finds a result (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Search is the exception: it costs 0.25 credits for every person or company returned, even before you enrich.
What does LeadOcean cost, and is there a limit?
Free gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with no credits and no per-record price. Past the fair-usage line a very large month is paced down instead of cut off, and support can raise the headroom.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. The free plan needs a work email and no card, and it has the same API and MCP server as Pro. Your 1,000 records last until you spend them.
