Cognism is a sales intelligence platform sold by quote. FullEnrich is a waterfall enrichment tool sold by the credit at a public price. Cognism wins for teams that dial phone-verified mobiles. FullEnrich wins for anyone who wants a price list and an API key today.

Every price and limit below was checked in September 2026, with its source link. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the page says so.

Verdict

  • Pick Cognism if your reps phone prospects all day and want mobiles that Cognism has verified, Do Not Call cross-referencing and intent data on Pro. Expect a sales call and a quote.
  • Pick FullEnrich if you enrich lists of up to about 100,000 contacts a month and want to see a price first. You pay only for data found and verified, and a miss costs 0 credits.
  • Pick neither if you need one flat price at volume. Cognism publishes no price at all, and FullEnrich has no public price at 1M. LeadOcean is one option.

Data and coverage

The two databases are not measured the same way. FullEnrich gives numbers: 800M people and 50M companies in search, behind waterfall enrichment across 25+ data sources (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Its homepage also carries a customer quote about 1.6B contacts, which is a quote about one customer's coverage, not a database size.

Cognism says "hundreds of millions" of profiles and no more. Its own FAQ notes that it does not usually make general coverage claims (Cognism FAQ, September 2026).

Emails are where FullEnrich is easier to judge. It states about an 80% find rate on work emails on average, and says about 30% of raw data is removed by verification (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026). Those are its own figures, not ours. Cognism publishes no email count or match rate.

Phones are where they differ most. Cognism claims 10M+ phone-verified contacts, on-demand verification in under 48 hours and Do Not Call cross-referencing in 15 territories (Cognism Diamond Data, September 2026). That counts numbers Cognism verified, not every number it holds.

FullEnrich publishes no phone count. It asks its sources in sequence, so a miss at one can be a hit at the next. A landline counts as a miss and costs 0 credits (FullEnrich credits, September 2026).

Run the same 500 people through both before you buy. That is the only coverage number that matters for your list.

API and developer experience

Both are REST APIs with a hosted MCP server. The difference is the job each call does. Cognism searches people by filter and returns pages of records. FullEnrich takes a name and company, or a LinkedIn URL, and finds contact details.

Cognism uses OAuth 2.0 client credentials from Settings, M2M Connect. Tokens last 20 minutes, so your code refreshes them (Cognism authentication, September 2026). Search returns 1 to 100 records a page. Add view=contacts to reveal emails and phones, at one credit per record (Cognism reference, September 2026).

bash
curl --request POST \
  --url 'https://api.cognism.com/persons/filter?limit=10' \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $COGNISM_ACCESS_TOKEN" \
  --header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  --data '{"person":{"jobTitle":{"include":["VP Sales"],"match":"ONCE"}}}'

FullEnrich uses a Bearer API key. Bulk enrichment takes up to 100 contacts a request and is asynchronous, so you pass a webhook URL or poll for the result (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). A work email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a mobile 10.

bash
curl --request POST \
  --url 'https://app.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk' \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $FULLENRICH_API_KEY" \
  --header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  --data '{"name":"Acme list","webhook_url":"https://example.com/webhook","data":[{"first_name":"Jane","last_name":"Doe","domain":"acme.com","enrich_fields":["contact.work_emails"]}]}'

If you hold names and domains, FullEnrich fits with no prior step. If you build lists from filters, Cognism's search is the closer match. Its schema has 13 person filter fields and 21 company filter fields (Cognism API reference, September 2026). FullEnrich also has search, at 0.25 credits per person or company returned (FullEnrich docs, September 2026).

On access, FullEnrich puts API, MCP, search and bulk CSV on every plan, including the free trial. Cognism lists MCP and API access on both Standard and Pro, and both need a quote first (Cognism pricing, September 2026).

On agents, both host an MCP server with OAuth sign-in. Cognism's has 15 tools: people and company search and count, eight dictionary lookups and three settings tools. FullEnrich's covers search, enrich and export, and its MCP search gives a free preview of 10 results plus the total (FullEnrich help, September 2026).

Limits shape how each scales. Cognism allows 500 requests a minute per account, counted separately for search, count and dictionary calls (Cognism rate limits, September 2026). FullEnrich allows 60 calls a minute across enrich, reverse email and search. Over the limit you get HTTP 429 until the next calendar minute (FullEnrich docs, September 2026).

Pricing

Cognism has no price to compare. FullEnrich has a price list, and you can do the sum yourself.

At 10,000 records a month. Take 10,000 work emails at 1 credit each, which is 10,000 credits. FullEnrich Pro has a 10,000-credit tier at $499 a month. Billed yearly, 120,000 credits a year costs $5,448, or $454 a month (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026).

Mobiles cost more. 10,000 mobiles x 10 credits = 100,000 credits, which is the top monthly tier at $3,500 a month. Billed yearly, 1,200,000 credits a year costs $37,800, or $3,150 a month. You pay only for numbers found.

Cognism publishes no price per plan, seat or credit. Its pricing page says pricing is tailored to product, team setup and usage (Cognism pricing, September 2026). Ten thousand revealed contacts take 10,000 credits, and each seat includes an allocation whose size is not published. Ask for a written quote.

At 1M records a month. Cognism has no public 1M price. One million revealed contacts is 1,000,000 credits, and no list price exists to multiply. The highest public tier is Pro with 5 seats, quote only.

FullEnrich has no public 1M price either. Its top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500, so 1M is 10 times that tier. Above it the page says to contact sales. The yearly toggle stops at 1,200,000 credits a year, and FullEnrich does not say whether those credits arrive upfront or monthly (FullEnrich pricing.md, September 2026).

Time matters at 1M too. At 100 records a page and 500 requests a minute, 1,000,000 / 100 = 10,000 search calls, about 20 minutes on Cognism. At FullEnrich's 100 contacts a request and 60 calls a minute, 1,000,000 / 6,000 per minute is about 167 minutes, or 2.8 hours.

Where Cognism wins

  • Phone-verified mobiles. Cognism says it verifies numbers on demand in under 48 hours. FullEnrich publishes no phone count (Cognism Diamond Data, September 2026).
  • Do Not Call checks. Cognism says it cross-references Do Not Call lists in 15 territories, which matters if your reps cold-call.
  • Intent data. Pro adds Bombora Company Surge intent, with up to 12 topics (Cognism pricing, September 2026).
  • A sales platform. Cognism is an app for revenue teams, with five seats per package and a CRM Enrichment add-on. FullEnrich is an enrichment tool with a HubSpot integration.
  • Rate limit. 500 requests a minute against FullEnrich's 60, at the published defaults.

Cognism's weak points are the missing price, the missing coverage counts and a quote before you can test the API.

Where FullEnrich wins

  • A public price. From $29 a month for 500 credits, and $499 for 10,000. A free trial gives 50 credits with no card (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).
  • Pay on success. A miss, or a landline where you asked for a mobile, costs nothing.
  • Waterfall coverage. It queries 25+ sources in sequence (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).
  • Unlimited users. No per-seat fee on any plan, and unused credits roll over 3 months on monthly plans and 12 months on annual plans.
  • Self-serve access. Sign up, copy a key and call the API.

FullEnrich's weak points are the credit meter, 60 calls a minute by default and no public price at 1M.

If you need volume through an API

We build LeadOcean, so weigh this section accordingly. It has a free plan with 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, and no credits or per-record price (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. REST and a hosted MCP server with 12 tools run on every plan, at 100 requests per second per key (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026).

For bulk pulls, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request, or you can use the Exports page in the app. 1M rows is 20 requests over two days (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). LeadOcean has no dialer, so it is not a swap for Cognism's dial list. See pricing for the detail.

Yes. It is a REST API with OAuth 2.0 client credentials, and it needs a package that includes API access (Cognism docs, September 2026). Search returns up to 100 records a page, with cursor paging up to 100,000 records per journey.

Does FullEnrich have a free plan?

It has a free trial with 50 credits and no card, and more credits for inviting teammates. The trial includes the API and MCP server (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).

Which has better phone data?

Do both have an MCP server?

Yes. Cognism's has 15 tools. FullEnrich's covers search, enrich and export, and does not publish a tool count. Both use OAuth sign-in (Cognism MCP docs, September 2026; FullEnrich help, September 2026).
