People leave LeadMagic when a per-result credit meter meets volume. Email Finder costs 1 credit per valid email. The top self-serve plan is Ultimate at $849 a month for 100,000 credits (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). A 1M-email month is a custom quote.

The docs add a rule: a sustained find rate below 10% can bring throttling or suspension, even with prepaid credits (LeadMagic docs, September 2026). Credits bank for two months at most, and mobiles cost 5 credits each. The email finder is paced at 600 requests a minute (LeadMagic docs, September 2026).

This page ranks seven alternatives for API and volume buyers. LeadOcean is first because it is one flat price with REST and MCP on every plan. For a two-column view, see LeadOcean vs LeadMagic. For the API angle alone, read LeadMagic API alternatives.

"1M records" here means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. Figures are list prices. Where a vendor sells no plan at 1M, the cell says so and names its top public tier. Findymail's pricing page blocks automated reading, so we publish no Findymail price. LeadMagic is the same: its top tier is Ultimate at $849 a month for 100,000 credits, and $8,490 for 1M is an extrapolation at $0.00849 a credit, not a price. Enterprise quotes may be lower, so ask each vendor at your volume.

What we evaluated

  • API access: which plan opens it, the endpoints that return emails, and the default rate limit.
  • MCP: whether an agent can look up and enrich through the server, or only read documentation.
  • Price model: flat, credits or seats, and what 1M records a month costs at list price.
  • Data: stated coverage, email and phone fields, and whether you can search or only look up.
  • Limits that bite: plan gates, find-rate rules, daily caps and expiring credits.

We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. We ran no find-rate or bounce test for this page, so we quote no quality numbers.

1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers

LeadOcean is one dataset behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. Email status comes back on every record, with 13 values from verified to spam_trap. You can search with 50 people filters, so the list comes from the same place as the emails.

The price does not move with volume. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 5 API keys and 100 requests per second per key. There are no credits and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off.

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/enrich" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe","reveal_email":true}'

A miss on POST /v1/people/enrich is a free 404. Work emails also have their own endpoint, GET /v2/people/email/work, and phones use GET /v2/people/phone. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 12 tools, from search_leads to find_phone. count_leads is free, so you can size a list before you pull it.

Pros

  • Flat $499 a month at any volume, with no credit meter.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
  • Search and emails in one dataset, with status on every record.
  • Free counts, and a miss on POST /v1/people/enrich costs nothing.

Cons

  • Nothing between Free and $499 a month. At low volume, LeadMagic costs less.
  • No sequencer, CRM, Chrome extension or table workflow builder. The app has an Exports page with a filter builder, a price preview and CSV download.
  • No waterfall across other vendors, and no job-post or ad data.

Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need volume and a fixed bill.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

2. BlitzAPI: best for flat-price search and verified emails by API

BlitzAPI sells B2B data as an API on flat monthly plans. Its pricing page lists 550M+ profiles, 65M+ companies and 65M+ verified work emails, re-tested at least every 30 days (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). An address it cannot prove comes back Not Found. It is the closest rival to LeadOcean on price model.

The ladder is where it gets fiddly. Core is $399 a month and leaves out emails and phones. Plus is $499 and adds verified work emails. Full is $599 and adds US phone numbers. If you replace LeadMagic's Email Finder, you buy Plus or Full.

Check two details before you commit. The 50 requests per second and 15,000,000 monthly results are tied to accounts opened by September 30, 2026. The standard rate is 5 per second, and limits apply per endpoint. Limits for accounts opened later are not published (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). Its MCP server gives an assistant the API documentation, not the data (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Flat monthly price. The 15,000,000 results a month limit is a launch offer for accounts opened by September 30, 2026 (BlitzAPI terms, September 2026).
  • People search, profile enrichment and verified emails in one API.
  • 1,000 free credits to try, with no card.

Cons

  • Three paid tiers, and emails need the second one.
  • Phone numbers are US only, on the top tier.
  • The MCP server reads docs. An agent cannot search or enrich through it.
  • The fast rate limit depends on when the account opened.

Best for: teams that want a flat-price search and email API and run their own code.

Pricing: Core $399, Plus $499, Full $599 a month (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).

3. Anymail Finder: best for pay-per-email lookups with no rate limit

Anymail Finder does one job: find and verify a professional email from a name and a company. It checks the address live against the mail server and bills only for results it can stand behind (Anymail Finder, September 2026). A miss is free, and so is a repeat search within 30 days.

The API docs state no rate limits and no daily call caps (Anymail Finder docs, September 2026). There is a hosted MCP server at https://api.anymailfinder.com/mcp (Anymail Finder, September 2026). A decision-maker lookup costs 2 credits. A bulk job takes up to 100,000 rows, at an average of 1,000 rows in 5 minutes (bulk docs, September 2026).

The limits are scope and currency. There is no filter search and no phone endpoint, so you build the list elsewhere. The pricing page shows Canadian dollars to visitors in Canada, so the figures here are USD list prices from the USD view. The largest one-time pack is 1M credits for $4,990, about $0.0050 a credit, and it expires after 12 months.

Pros

  • No stated rate limit or daily cap on the API.
  • Unlimited team members, and failed lookups are free.
  • A 1M-credit pack is cheaper per email than LeadMagic Ultimate.

Cons

  • Lookup only. No search by title, industry or size.
  • No phone endpoint in the API docs.
  • Prices show in CAD to visitors in Canada, and bulk jobs are slow.

Best for: teams that already hold a list of names and domains and want a cheap email lookup.

Pricing: $29 a month for 400 credits up to $799 for 100,000, plus one-time packs up to 1M credits for $4,990 (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). These are USD list prices from the pricing page USD view, which is the same page with ?currency=usd. The page shows Canadian dollars to visitors in Canada.

4. Findymail: best for verified emails with a bounce guarantee

Findymail is an email finder that verifies each address when you ask for it. It returns only verified emails and advertises a bounce guarantee on its pricing page (Findymail pricing page). It is the closest match to LeadMagic's Email Finder in shape.

An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 10, charged only on a hit. The phone endpoint is US only (Findymail API docs, September 2026). Its pricing page blocks automated reading, so read plans and credit prices on Findymail's pricing page.

For code, the API allows 300 concurrent requests by default. The official MCP server at mcp.findymail.com has 14 tools and signs in through the browser or a bearer token (Findymail plugin, September 2026).

Pros

  • Bounce guarantee advertised on its pricing page.
  • MCP server with 14 tools, plus a standalone email verifier.
  • Nothing is charged when no verified email is found.

Cons

  • Pricing is not machine readable, so check plans and volume terms with Findymail directly.
  • Phones cost 10 credits and cover US numbers only.
  • Employee search returns a few contacts per call and no emails.

Best for: outbound teams and agencies that want verified emails and a guarantee.

Pricing: Not published here. See Findymail's pricing page.

5. Prospeo: best for reps who want an extension

Prospeo is an email and mobile finder sold per user, with a Chrome extension, a REST API and an MCP server. One verified email costs 1 credit and one mobile costs 10. Company enrichment costs 1 credit, and so does each page of up to 25 search results (Prospeo help center, September 2026).

The API is capped. Enrichment runs at 5 requests per second on Starter and Growth, and 30 on Pro. Daily caps are 2,000, 5,000 and 500,000 requests by plan (Prospeo rate limits, September 2026). A search returns 25 results a page with no email or mobile, so you pay again to enrich them (Prospeo docs, September 2026). Sources disagree on whether Free includes the API. The pricing table shows none. The help center lists limited access at 50 requests a day, and the API docs say free API access for all users (Prospeo help center, September 2026).

The hosted MCP server at mcp.prospeo.io uses OAuth or an API key and has 8 tools (Prospeo MCP docs, September 2026). Add-on credits fall to $0.01 a credit at 350,000 a month, or $0.009 at 500,000 a year, and plans are priced per user. No add-on reaches 1M in a month, so a 1M month needs seats too (Prospeo pricing, September 2026).

Pros

  • Free plan with 100 credits a month and a Chrome extension.
  • Hosted MCP server with OAuth.
  • Re-enriching a record within 90 days costs nothing.

Cons

  • Per-user plans plus credits, so cost scales two ways.
  • Daily request caps on the lower plans.
  • Search results carry no contact data, so every pull costs twice.

Best for: reps and small teams that prospect in an extension and buy emails as they go.

Pricing: Free with 100 credits a month. Starter from $49 a month per user, with add-on credits from $0.02 down to $0.01 a month or $0.009 a year (Prospeo pricing, September 2026).

6. Hunter: best for domain lookups and sending from one tool

Hunter is an email finder first and an outreach tool second. Its homepage lists 150,430,313 verified email addresses (Hunter, September 2026). One credit buys one email found, and verifying an address costs half a credit (Hunter pricing, September 2026).

Plans bundle sequences, connected inboxes and signals with the credits. Starter is $49 a month ($34 billed yearly) for 2,000 credits. Scale is $299 a month ($209 billed yearly) for 25,000 credits. Above Scale, you go to Enterprise or the API-only Data Platform. 1,000,000 Search credits there cost $6,900, bought once and valid 12 months (Hunter Data Platform, September 2026).

API and MCP are listed on every plan, including Free. Email Finder and Domain Search allow 15 requests per second and 500 a minute (Hunter API docs, September 2026). The MCP server at mcp.hunter.io/mcp takes an API key or OAuth and spends your plan credits (Hunter MCP, September 2026).

Pros

  • Free plan with 50 credits a month and API access on every plan.
  • Sequences, a browser extension and signals in the same account.
  • Unlimited users on every plan.

Cons

  • Self-serve plans stop at 25,000 credits a month. 1M Search credits go through the Data Platform for $6,900 once, or Enterprise.
  • You pay for the outreach bundle even if you only want data.
  • Search works inside one domain, not across a database.

Best for: teams that find emails by domain and send from the same tool.

Pricing: Free. Starter $49, Growth $149, Scale $299 a month, or 30% less billed yearly (Hunter pricing, September 2026).

7. FullEnrich: best for waterfall emails and mobiles behind an API

FullEnrich queries 25+ sources for each contact, and you pay only for data it finds (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). It swaps LeadMagic's single source for a waterfall. Its pricing page lists API access, people and company search and an MCP server on Pro.

Credits are the meter. A work email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a mobile 10. Pro starts at $29 a month for 500 credits, or $0.058 each. The 1,000-credit tier is $55 a month ($0.055 each), and the top public monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 ($0.035 each) (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Even the top tier is about four times LeadMagic's Ultimate rate. Above 100,000 credits, contact sales. The yearly toggle lists 1,200,000 credits a year for $37,800 billed yearly. FullEnrich lists these as credits granted per year and does not say whether they arrive upfront or monthly, so ask its support (FullEnrich pricing, October 2026).

The API allows 60 calls a minute, with up to 100 contacts in a bulk request. Higher limits are an Enterprise feature (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). The MCP server can search, enrich and export, and it asks before it spends credits (FullEnrich help, September 2026).

Pros

  • Waterfall across 25+ sources, so one call can cover several vendors.
  • Search, enrichment and export in the MCP server.
  • Credits roll over for 3 months on monthly plans.

Cons

  • No public price at 1M. The top public tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month, and above that you contact sales.
  • Mobiles cost 10 credits each.
  • The default API limit is 60 calls a minute.

Best for: teams that want waterfall emails and mobiles, through an API or an agent, at modest volume.

Pricing: Pro from $29 a month for 500 credits up to $3,500 for 100,000, then contact sales (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).

Sources are linked in each tool section, all checked in September 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm on the pricing page before you buy. The 1M column is list price on email lookups where a vendor sells that volume. Hunter's figure is the Data Platform price for 1,000,000 Search credits, paid once. Findymail publishes no price here. Prospeo is the cheapest public mix of Pro seats and its largest add-on, and FullEnrich sells no plan at 1M. BlitzAPI's price is for accounts opened by September 30, 2026.

How to choose

  • You pull data in code or with an agent, at volume: LeadOcean. One flat price, REST and MCP on every plan, 100 requests per second.
  • You want a flat-price API from a second vendor: BlitzAPI Plus, if you can live with a docs-only MCP server.
  • You already have names and domains and only need emails: Anymail Finder, at USD list prices.
  • You send cold email and want a bounce guarantee: Findymail, which advertises one on its pricing page.
  • Your reps live in an extension: Prospeo, or Hunter if you also want sequences.
  • You need mobiles and waterfall coverage: FullEnrich, and budget 10 credits per mobile.
  • You buy fewer than about 20,000 valid emails a month: stay on LeadMagic. LeadOcean has no plan between Free and $499.

Verdict

LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers. It has a flat price, search and emails in one dataset, and an MCP server that returns records. BlitzAPI is the flat-price runner-up if you run your own code. Anymail Finder wins for cheap lookups on a list you already hold, and Findymail for verified emails with an advertised guarantee. Prospeo and Hunter suit reps who want an extension, and FullEnrich wins for waterfall mobiles. Stay on LeadMagic if you buy modest volume. Otherwise start on the free plan and compare the same lookups.

FAQ

Why do teams leave LeadMagic?

Volume and rules. Credits scale in a straight line and the largest self-serve plan is 100,000 credits. A find rate below 10% can also bring throttling (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). Teams that pull at volume move to a flat-price API.

What is the cheapest LeadMagic alternative at volume?

At 1M records a month, LeadOcean at $499 flat and BlitzAPI Plus at $499 are cheapest on list price. BlitzAPI's price applies to accounts opened by September 30, 2026. Anymail Finder's 1M pack is $4,990 one-time, Hunter's 1,000,000 Search credits are $6,900 once on Data Platform, and Prospeo's cheapest public mix is $14,456 a month. FullEnrich and LeadMagic sell no public plan at 1M, and Findymail publishes no price here. Enterprise quotes may narrow the gap.

What does LeadMagic cost at 1M emails a month?

LeadMagic does not publish a price at that volume. The top public tier is Ultimate, $849 a month for 100,000 credits. Extrapolating its $0.00849 a credit gives $8,490 for 1M credits, which is arithmetic, not a public plan (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). A 1M month needs an Enterprise quote.

Which LeadMagic alternative has an MCP server that returns data?

LeadOcean, Anymail Finder, Findymail, Prospeo, Hunter and FullEnrich all do. BlitzAPI's server reads documentation only. LeadMagic has a hosted MCP server too, at mcp.leadmagic.io/mcp (LeadMagic docs, September 2026). Compare the tools each one exposes before you choose.

Can I keep LeadMagic and use another data source?

Yes. Pull and search with another source. Then send only the risky rows to LeadMagic validation, at 0.25 credits a check (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). The split is in LeadOcean vs LeadMagic.

Do I need a credit card to try LeadOcean?

No. The free plan needs a work email and no card. It gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with the same API and MCP server as Pro. See pricing.
