Paste one prompt into Claude with LeadOcean connected. It sizes the list first, then fills in title, company size, industry and country for each lead. Connect https://api.leadocean.io/mcp first. Setup is on the MCP page.
The prompt
Enrich leads: US VPs of sales at software companies with 51 to 200 employees.
1. Call leadocean_list_enum_values for job_level, job_function,
employee_range and industry. Use the exact strings.
2. Call leadocean_count_leads with those filters. Tell me the count
and the filters you used.
3. Wait for my go. Then call leadocean_search_leads with the same
filters and limit 25.
4. For any LinkedIn URL I paste, call leadocean_get_lead instead.
5. Return a table: title, company size, industry, country. What it resolves to
| Filter | Value |
|---|---|
| jobLevel | VP |
| jobFunction | Sales & Business Development |
| employeeRange | 51-200 |
| industry | Software Development |
| country | US |
Enum values are exact strings, so step 1 looks them up. A wrong string returns nothing. Claude never guesses one. The prompt uses the enum set names (job_level, employee_range) for the lookup and the filter names (jobLevel, employeeRange) for the count and search.
How many match
1,603 mailable people match on 1 October 2026. Filters: jobLevel VP, jobFunction Sales & Business Development, employeeRange 51-200, industry Software Development, country US.
Mailable means verified, catch_all_valid or catch_all, the default for leadocean_count_leads. The count is free.
What you get back
Each row carries the fields below. These are placeholder values, not real records.
| Title | Company size | Industry | Country |
|---|---|---|---|
| VP of Sales | 51-200 | Software Development | US |
| VP, Business Development | 51-200 | Software Development | US |
| VP of Revenue | 51-200 | Software Development | US |
Variations
- Replace step 4 with "enrich only the LinkedIn URLs in my list" and skip the search.
- Change country to GB and employeeRange to 201-500, then count again before searching.
- Add "also return the email_status for each lead" to see which addresses are safe to send to.
Records it spends
The count gates the spend. You see the list size before any record is used.
The enum lookups and the count are free. leadocean_search_leads costs 1 record per person returned, so limit 25 costs 25 records. leadocean_get_lead costs 1 record, and a lead we hold nothing for costs nothing. Free gives you 1,000 records one-off with no card. Pro is $499 a month. See pricing.
