Anymail Finder API alternatives

7 Best Anymail Finder API Alternatives in 2026 (Compared)

Seven email and people data APIs for developers who outgrow Anymail Finder's per-email credits, bulk speed or lookup-only model, compared on auth, rate limits, bulk export, MCP and the cost of 1M records.

Developers leave Anymail Finder's API when the per-email meter and the lookup-only model stop fitting. One credit buys one verified email, and the largest monthly plan is 100,000 credits for $799 a month (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). Prices here are USD list prices from the pricing page's USD view. Bulk jobs take up to 100,000 rows but average 1,000 rows in 5 minutes (Anymail Finder docs, September 2026).

The API itself is simple, and it states no rate limit. The gap is scope. Every call needs a name plus a domain or a LinkedIn URL, so you must bring the list. The docs index shows no phone endpoint and no database search.

This page ranks seven alternatives for developers, with a working LeadOcean call next to the Anymail Finder one. For a two-column view, read LeadOcean vs Anymail Finder. For plan arithmetic, see Anymail Finder pricing, and for a wider view, Anymail Finder alternatives.

"1M records" here means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. For reference, Anymail Finder's one-time 1M pack is $4,990, valid 12 months (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). Figures are list prices where a plan sells that volume, and the cell says so where none does. They are not quotes. Ask each vendor at your volume.

What we evaluated

  • Auth and schema: the header each API expects, the identifiers it accepts and the shape of the response.
  • Rate limits: the default per-second, per-minute or concurrent cap, and what lifts it.
  • Bulk export: rows per request or job, and whether the job runs async.
  • MCP: whether an agent can search and enrich through the server, or only read documentation.
  • Cost at 1M records: list-price arithmetic, plus any plan gate or row cap on the way.

We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. We ran no find-rate or accuracy test, so we quote no quality numbers. Anymail Finder's 86.4% coverage and 98.9% accuracy are its own benchmark claim.

1. LeadOcean: best for developers who pull data by API, agent or at volume

LeadOcean is one dataset behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. You search with 50 people filters and 34 company filters, and counts are free.

Auth is an x-api-key header. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 5 API keys and 100 requests per second per key. There are no credits and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off.

Here is the same job on both APIs: a work email from a LinkedIn URL. Anymail Finder first, at 1 credit if it finds a verified email. Then LeadOcean, at one record inside the flat fee on Pro.

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.anymailfinder.com/v5.1/find-email/person" \
  -H "Authorization: $ANYMAIL_FINDER_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe"}'
bash
curl -s -G "https://api.leadocean.io/v2/people/email/work" \
  --data-urlencode "linkedin_url=https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY"

Anymail Finder answers with email, email_status and credits_charged. LeadOcean answers with data.email, data.status and data.verified_batch_date, and data is null when the person exists but no address does (LeadOcean docs, September 2026). The phone call has no Anymail Finder twin. LeadOcean's is GET /v2/people/phone, one record.

One gap to know about. LeadOcean does not take name plus company domain, which is Anymail Finder's main input. Enrichment takes a LinkedIn URL, a work email, a phone number or a person ID (LeadOcean docs, September 2026).

Bulk is POST /v1/exports at up to 50,000 rows per request, so 1M rows is 20 calls over two days. Export ceilings are 500,000 rows a day and 10,000,000 per billing period (LeadOcean docs, September 2026). The app has an Exports page with a filter builder, a column picker, the record price before you start and a CSV download. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 12 tools, from search_leads to find_phone and export_leads (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Flat $499 a month at any volume, with no credit meter.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
  • Phones and company data in the same schema as emails.
  • Free counts, and a miss on POST /v1/people/enrich is a free 404.
  • 50,000 rows per export request, and search by 50 filters.

Cons

  • No name plus domain lookup. You need a LinkedIn URL, email, phone or person ID.
  • No Chrome extension, sequencer push or table builder.
  • The v2 contact endpoints count one record per call, even when nothing is found.

Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need volume, filters and a fixed bill.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

2. BlitzAPI: best for flat-price search and enrichment by API

BlitzAPI sells B2B data as an API on flat monthly plans. Its pricing page lists company search, people search, job postings and identity resolution (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). It is the closest rival to LeadOcean on price model.

The plan ladder is where it gets fiddly. Core is $399 a month and leaves out emails and phones. Plus is $499 and adds verified work emails. Full is $599 and adds US phone numbers. Auth is an x-api-key header (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Check two details before you commit. The 50 requests per second is tied to accounts opened by September 30, 2026, against a standard 5, and limits apply per endpoint (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). Its MCP server gives an assistant the API documentation, not the data (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Flat monthly price. The 15,000,000 results a month fair-use line is the launch-offer limit for accounts opened by September 30, 2026 (BlitzAPI terms, September 2026). Limits for later accounts are not published.
  • Jobs data and identity resolution sit next to search.

Cons

  • Three paid tiers, and phones need the top one.
  • Phone numbers are US only.
  • The MCP server reads docs. An agent cannot search or enrich through it.
  • The fast rate limit depends on when the account opened.

Best for: teams that want a flat-price search and enrichment API and run their own code.

Pricing: Core $399, Plus $499, Full $599 a month (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).

3. LeadMagic: best for a low per-credit price and pay on success

LeadMagic is a credit-based enrichment API. It lists 400M+ people profiles and 25M+ companies, reached through REST, CSV, a command-line tool and a hosted MCP server (LeadMagic, September 2026). Failed lookups cost nothing, the same rule Anymail Finder uses.

The credit price falls as you climb the plans. Essential is $99 a month for 5,000 credits and Professional is $499 for 50,000. Ultimate is $849 for 100,000, or $0.00849 a credit, and it is the top public tier (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). A valid email costs 1 credit and a mobile costs 5.

The Email Finder endpoint allows 600 requests a minute. LeadMagic also states that a sustained find rate below 10% can lead to throttling or suspension (LeadMagic docs, September 2026). The MCP server uses OAuth, and a preview_cost call shows the price of a large job first (LeadMagic docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • A per-credit price ($0.00849 at Ultimate) close to Anymail Finder's top monthly plan ($0.00799), with mobiles at 5 credits.
  • No charge when an email is not found.
  • Hosted MCP with a cost preview before large operations.
  • People, company and jobs search in one API.

Cons

  • The top self-serve plan is 100,000 credits, so 1M a month needs an Enterprise quote.
  • A smaller stated database, at 400M+ people profiles.
  • A minimum find-rate policy can throttle lists with poor match rates.
  • A stated rate limit of 600 a minute, where Anymail Finder states none.

Best for: teams that enrich a few hundred thousand valid emails a month and want cheap credits.

Pricing: Essential $99, Growth $249, Professional $499, Ultimate $849 a month (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026).

4. Findymail: best for verified emails with a bounce guarantee

Findymail is the closest match to Anymail Finder's promise. It verifies each address when you ask and returns only verified emails, at 1 credit per email found and 10 per phone number (Findymail API docs, September 2026). No charge when nothing verified is found. Its pricing page advertises a bounce guarantee.

Its pricing page blocks automated reading, so we publish no Findymail price. Read plans on Findymail's pricing page. Auth is a Bearer token. The stated limit is 300 concurrent requests, but find-from-domain allows 5 concurrent synchronous requests and business-profile lookups allow 30 (Findymail docs, September 2026).

The official MCP server at mcp.findymail.com has 14 tools and signs in through the browser or a bearer token (Findymail plugin, September 2026). The phone endpoint returns US numbers only.

Pros

  • Bounce guarantee on the pricing page, like Anymail Finder's delivery guarantee.
  • Standalone verifier endpoint, plus company, employee and reverse-email lookups.
  • MCP server with 14 tools.

Cons

  • Phones cost 10 credits and exclude EU numbers.
  • Pricing is not machine readable, so confirm plans and volume terms with Findymail directly.
  • Some endpoints have low concurrency caps, against Anymail Finder's none.

Best for: outbound teams that want a verified email with an advertised guarantee and a Chrome extension.

Pricing: Not published here. See Findymail's pricing page.

5. Icypeas: best for cheap credits and a bulk endpoint

Icypeas sells credits for found emails. It ships an API, a bulk endpoint and an MCP server on every plan. Basic is $19 a month for 1,000 credits. Hypergrowth is $499 for 100,000, or $0.00499 a credit, and credits roll over (Icypeas pricing, September 2026). Email Finder costs 1 credit per found email.

The API is where developers feel the difference from Anymail Finder. Auth is an Authorization header holding only your key. A single email search returns an _id, and you poll a read route for the result (Icypeas docs, September 2026). Email search allows 10 calls a second, and the read route allows 30 a minute. Bulk search takes up to 5,000 rows per call at 1 call a second (Icypeas rate limits, September 2026).

Icypeas also lists a hosted MCP server at mcp.icypeas.com with 21 tools, signed in with your API key (Icypeas MCP guide, September 2026).

Pros

  • $0.003992 a credit at the 1,000,000-credit tier and $0.00499 at Hypergrowth's 100,000, the lowest list rates in this group.
  • Credits roll over, and the pricing page says you pay for verified emails only.
  • A bulk route of 5,000 rows per call, plus an MCP server on every plan.

Cons

  • Single searches are asynchronous: submit, then poll for the result.
  • The poll route allows 30 calls a minute, which caps single-search throughput.
  • Phone Finder is listed as coming soon on the pricing page.

Best for: developers who want the lowest per-credit list price and can handle a polling API.

Pricing: Basic $19, Premium $39, Advanced $89, Hypergrowth $499 a month, plus VAT (Icypeas pricing, September 2026).

Published monthly tiers above 100,000 credits are 200,000 for $998, 500,000 for $2,245.50, 1,000,000 for $3,992 and 10,000,000 for $34,930 (Icypeas pricing, September 2026). Billed yearly, 12M credits cost $39,920, which is $3,326.67 a month.

6. FullEnrich: best for waterfall emails and mobiles behind an API

FullEnrich queries 25+ sources for each contact and charges only for data it finds (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Its pricing page lists API access, people and company search and an MCP server on Pro. It is a coverage play, not a price play.

Credits are the meter. A work email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a mobile 10. Pro starts at $29 a month for 500 credits ($0.058 each), and the 1,000-credit tier is $55 ($0.055). The top public monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 ($0.035), and above that you contact sales (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Search costs 0.25 credits per person returned (FullEnrich docs, September 2026).

The API allows 60 calls a minute, with up to 100 contacts in a bulk request, which is 6,000 contacts a minute (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). The MCP server can search, enrich and export, and it asks before it spends credits (FullEnrich help, September 2026).

Pros

  • Waterfall across 25+ sources, so one call covers several vendors.
  • Search, enrichment and export in the MCP server.

Cons

  • $0.058 a credit at entry and $0.035 at the top public tier, several times Anymail Finder's pack rate. No public price at 1M.
  • Mobiles cost 10 credits each, so phone-heavy pulls get expensive.
  • A default limit of 60 calls a minute.

Best for: teams that want waterfall contact data, mostly emails and mobiles, through an API or an agent.

Pricing: Pro from $29 a month for 500 credits, up to 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month, then contact sales (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).

7. Hunter: best for domain search with sequences in the same account

Hunter finds emails by domain and name, and it sends sequences from the same account. The API is on every plan, including Free, and authenticates with X-API-KEY as a header, a query parameter or a Bearer token (Hunter API docs, September 2026).

Credits are the meter. Free gives 50 a month. Starter is $49 a month for 2,000 and Scale is $299 for 25,000, or $209 billed yearly (Hunter pricing, September 2026). An email found costs 1 credit and a verification costs 0.5. On the API-only Data Platform, 1,000,000 Search credits cost $6,900, bought once and valid 12 months (Hunter Data Platform, September 2026).

Email Finder and Domain Search allow 15 requests a second and 500 a minute. Discover allows 5 a second and 50 a minute. The MCP server runs on every plan with an API key or OAuth and spends your plan credits (Hunter MCP, September 2026).

Pros

  • API and MCP on every plan, including Free.
  • 15 requests a second on Email Finder, a fast default.

Cons

  • Scale stops at 25,000 credits a month. Above that is Enterprise or the API-only Data Platform, where 1,000,000 Search credits cost $6,900 once.
  • A stated 500 requests a minute, where Anymail Finder states none.
  • Discover is capped at 5 requests a second.

Best for: teams that find emails by domain and send from the same tool.

Pricing: Free. Starter from $49 a month, Scale $299 a month for 25,000 credits (Hunter pricing, September 2026).

Sources are linked in each tool section, all checked in September 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm on the pricing page before you buy. The 1M column is list price on email lookups. Icypeas is its published 1M tier and Hunter is the Data Platform price for 1,000,000 Search credits, paid once. Findymail publishes no price here. LeadMagic and FullEnrich sell no public plan at 1M, so the cell says so. LeadMagic tops out at Ultimate, $849 a month for 100,000 credits ($0.00849 a credit). FullEnrich tops out at 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month ($0.035 a credit, FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Anymail Finder, for reference, is $4,990 for a one-time 1M pack, with no stated rate limit and a 100,000-row bulk job.

In USD, monthly plans run from $29 for 400 credits to $799 for 100,000 credits, and the one-time 1M credit pack is $4,990 (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). The page shows Canadian dollars to visitors in Canada, and the USD view is the same page with ?currency=usd.

How to choose

  • You pull data in code or with an agent, at volume: LeadOcean. One flat price, REST and MCP on every plan, 100 requests per second.
  • You need search, companies or phones, not only emails: LeadOcean. Anymail Finder has no filter search and its docs list no phone endpoint.
  • You want a flat-price API from a second vendor: BlitzAPI Plus, if you can live with a docs-only MCP server.
  • You want a bounce guarantee and a name plus domain lookup: Findymail, or stay on Anymail Finder.
  • You buy valid emails by the hundred thousand: LeadMagic, at $0.00849 a credit on Ultimate.
  • You want the lowest credit price and can poll: Icypeas, at $0.00499 a credit on Hypergrowth and $0.003992 at 1M credits a month.
  • You need waterfall emails and mobiles: FullEnrich, and budget 10 credits per mobile.
  • You send from the same account you search in: Hunter.
  • You send under 25,000 verified emails a month from a name and a domain: stay on Anymail Finder. Its 25,000-credit plan is $299 a month.

Verdict

LeadOcean wins for developers who pull data by API, agent or at volume. It has a flat price, emails and phones in one plan and an MCP server that returns records. BlitzAPI is the flat-price runner-up if you run your own code. Findymail is the nearest match for verified, guaranteed emails, LeadMagic wins for cheap valid emails and Icypeas for the lowest credit rate. FullEnrich wins for waterfall mobiles and Hunter for teams that also send. Below 25,000 lookups a month, Anymail Finder is still cheaper than LeadOcean Pro. Above that, start free and compare the same lookups.

FAQ

Why do developers leave Anymail Finder's API?

Cost and scope. Credits scale in a straight line, the largest monthly plan is 100,000 credits and bulk averages 1,000 rows in 5 minutes (Anymail Finder docs, September 2026). It also finds emails for people you already name, so you need another source for the list.

Does Anymail Finder have an API rate limit?

It states none. The docs say "No Rate Limits" and no daily call caps, and the only limit is your credit balance (Anymail Finder docs, September 2026). Most alternatives here publish a cap, from 60 calls a minute at FullEnrich to 100 requests per second at LeadOcean.

What does Anymail Finder cost at 1M records a month?

A one-time pack of 1M credits is $4,990, valid 12 months. No monthly plan goes past 100,000 credits for $799 a month, and above 1M you ask for volume pricing (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). These are USD list prices. The page shows Canadian dollars to visitors in Canada.

Does Anymail Finder have an MCP server?

Yes, at https://api.anymailfinder.com/mcp. It finds and verifies emails, lists company emails and reads your balance, and you approve the connection on its site (Anymail Finder MCP page, September 2026). It has no database search. LeadOcean's server searches, enriches and exports.

Which alternative has the highest API rate limit?

LeadOcean allows 100 requests per second per key on every plan. BlitzAPI allows 50 per second for accounts opened by September 30, 2026. Anymail Finder states no limit, and Hunter allows 15 per second on Email Finder.

Do I need a credit card to try LeadOcean?

No. The free plan needs a work email and no card. It gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with the same API and MCP server as Pro. See pricing.
