Wiza API alternatives

7 Best Wiza API Alternatives in 2026 (Compared)

Seven contact data APIs for developers who hit Wiza's limits or price, compared on rate limits, auth, schema, bulk export, MCP and the cost of 1M records a month.

Get your free API key →Free to start. No credit card. 1,000 records to spend whenever you like.

Developers leave Wiza when the API becomes the bottleneck. Wiza's API page sends you to a sales call for pricing, so you cannot cost 1M records from the site (Wiza API, September 2026). A valid email costs 2 API credits, a phone 5, and credits expire after 12 months (Wiza docs, September 2026). The Starter API runs at a concurrency of 5, and prospect search returns at most 30 results a call (Wiza docs, September 2026). API access is listed on the Team plan, and the help center says to ask support to switch it on (Wiza help, September 2026).

That suits a rep revealing one LinkedIn profile at a time. It is a slow fit for a pipeline.

This page ranks seven alternatives on rate limits, auth, schema, bulk export, MCP and the cost of 1M records a month. LeadOcean is first because the price is flat and the API and MCP server come on every plan. For a two-column view, see LeadOcean vs Wiza. For non-API options, read Wiza alternatives.

People Data LabsLicensed datasets and per-match enrichmentPro from $98 a month for 350 creditsNo public 1M price. Above about 100,000 profiles a year it is quote only

"1M records" here means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. Where a vendor sells that volume, the figure is its list price. Where it does not, the cell says so, and Enterprise quotes are not public.

For Wiza itself, a valid email is 2 API credits, so 1M emails is 2M credits, and the dollar price per credit is not public. Small packs sit behind a slider inside the app, and larger plans go through sales (Wiza docs, October 2026). The seat route is 400 annual Email seats at $83, about $33,200 a month, because each seat exports 2,500 a month (Wiza pricing, September 2026).

What we evaluated

  • Rate limits: the default per-second or per-minute limit, and what happens past it.
  • Auth and schema: the header, the request shape, and whether a lookup returns at once or needs a second call.
  • Bulk export: rows per request, and any daily or monthly row cap.
  • MCP: whether an agent can search and enrich through the server, or only read documentation.
  • Price at 1M records a month: flat, credits or seats, at list price.

We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. We ran no accuracy test, so we quote no quality numbers.

1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers

LeadOcean is one dataset behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. You search with 50 people filters and 34 company filters, and counts are free.

Auth is an x-api-key header. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 5 API keys and 100 requests per second per key. There are no credits and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off.

Here is the same job on both APIs: a work email from a LinkedIn URL. Wiza first. It is two calls: the POST starts a real-time reveal, and GET /api/individual_reveals/{id} reads the result. A valid email costs 2 credits (Wiza docs, September 2026).

bash
curl -X POST "https://wiza.co/api/individual_reveals" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $WIZA_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"individual_reveal":{"profile_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe"},"enrichment_level":"partial"}'

LeadOcean answers in the same response, at one record inside the flat fee.

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/enrich" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe","reveal_email":true}'

The reply is the full leadocean.person.v1 record, with profile_data and contact_data, and a person we hold nothing for is a free 404 (LeadOcean docs, September 2026). Search maps the same way. Wiza's POST /api/prospects/search takes nested filters and returns 30 results at most (Wiza docs, September 2026). LeadOcean is one call:

bash
curl -s -G "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/search" \
  --data-urlencode "title=CEO" \
  --data-urlencode "country=CA" \
  --data-urlencode "limit=100" \
  -H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY"

That returns up to 100 people a page. Bulk is POST /v1/exports at up to 50,000 rows per request, so 1M rows is 20 calls over two days. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 12 tools, from search_leads to find_phone and export_leads (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • Flat $499 a month at any volume, with no credit meter.
  • REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
  • 100 requests per second per key.
  • Email status on every record, 13 values from verified to spam_trap.
  • 50,000 rows per export request.

Cons

  • No Chrome extension, LinkedIn list builder or CRM sync. The app has an Exports page, and the rest is API and MCP.
  • No name plus company lookup. Enrichment takes a LinkedIn URL, email, phone or person ID.
  • The v2 contact endpoints count one record per call, even when nothing is found.

Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need volume and a fixed bill.

Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

2. BlitzAPI: best for flat-price search and enrichment by API

BlitzAPI sells B2B data as an API on flat monthly plans. Its docs state 550M+ contacts, 65M+ companies and 65M+ verified emails (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). It is the closest rival to LeadOcean on price model.

The plan ladder is fiddly. Core is $399 a month and leaves out emails and phones. Plus is $499 and adds verified work emails. Full is $599 and adds US phone numbers (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). Auth is an x-api-key header (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Check two details. The 50 requests per second is tied to accounts opened by September 30, 2026, against a standard 5, and limits apply per endpoint (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). Its MCP server gives an assistant the API documentation, not the data (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). After September 30 the lifetime offer closes to new accounts. The only published standard figure is 5 requests per second per endpoint. Plan prices and monthly volume for later accounts are set by the website or order form at subscription (BlitzAPI pricing, BlitzAPI Terms, section 9.1).

Pros

  • Flat monthly price, with a stated fair-use line of 15,000,000 results a month. That limit is for accounts opened by September 30, 2026, and later accounts' limits are not published (BlitzAPI Terms, section 9.1).
  • No per-request fee on paid plans, so 1M lookups cost the same as 10.
  • A free trial of 1,000 credits with no card.

Cons

  • Three paid tiers, and phones need the top one.
  • Phone numbers are US only.
  • The MCP server reads docs. An agent cannot search or enrich through it.
  • Email lookup takes a LinkedIn URL, and search pages hold 50 results, capped at 50,000 a query.

Best for: teams that want a flat-price search and enrichment API and run their own code.

Pricing: Core $399, Plus $499, Full $599 a month (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).

3. LeadMagic: best for a low per-credit price on valid emails

LeadMagic is a credit-based enrichment API with 400M+ people profiles and 25M+ companies (LeadMagic, September 2026). Auth is an X-API-Key header, and failed lookups cost nothing.

The credit price falls as you climb the plans. Essential is $99 a month for 5,000 credits. Professional is $499 for 50,000. Ultimate is $849 for 100,000, or $0.0085 a credit (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). A valid email costs 1 credit and a mobile costs 5.

The Email Finder endpoint allows 600 requests a minute. LeadMagic also states that a sustained find rate below 10% can lead to throttling or suspension (LeadMagic docs, September 2026). Search and export are capped per day by plan, from 10,000 rows on Essential to 100,000 on Ultimate (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026). The MCP server uses OAuth, and a preview_cost call shows the price of a large job first (LeadMagic docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • The lowest per-credit list price among the credit tools here.
  • No charge when an email is not found.
  • Hosted MCP with a cost preview before large operations.

Cons

  • The top self-serve plan is 100,000 credits, so 1M a month needs an Enterprise quote.
  • A daily export cap of 100,000 rows on the top plan.
  • A minimum find-rate policy can throttle lists with poor match rates.

Best for: teams that enrich a few hundred thousand valid emails a month and want cheap credits.

Pricing: Essential $99, Growth $249, Professional $499, Ultimate $849 a month (LeadMagic pricing, September 2026).

4. FullEnrich: best for waterfall emails and mobiles behind an API

FullEnrich queries 25+ sources for each contact, and you pay only for data it finds (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Its pricing page lists API access and an MCP server on Pro.

Credits are the meter. A work email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a mobile 10 (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Entry is Pro at $29 a month for 500 credits, or $0.058 each, so a mobile at the entry rate costs $0.58. The 1,000-credit tier is $55 a month ($0.055 each) (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).

Auth is a Bearer key. Bulk enrichment is asynchronous, so you handle a webhook or poll for the result. The API allows 60 calls a minute, with up to 100 contacts in a bulk request (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). The MCP server can search, enrich and export, and it asks before it spends credits (FullEnrich help, September 2026).

Pros

  • Waterfall across 25+ sources, so one call covers several vendors.
  • Search, enrichment and export in the MCP server.
  • Bulk enrichment of 100 contacts per request.
  • Credits roll over for 3 months on monthly plans.

Cons

  • Mobiles cost 10 credits each, so phone-heavy pulls get expensive fast.
  • A default limit of 60 calls a minute.
  • No public price at 1M work emails. The top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500, and above that you contact sales.

Best for: teams that want waterfall contact data, mostly emails and mobiles, through an API or an agent.

Pricing: Pro from $29 a month for 500 credits up to $3,500 a month for 100,000. Above that, contact sales (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).

5. Prospeo: best for per-seat plans with an extension and CRM sync

Prospeo is a finder with a Chrome extension, CRM sync and a public API. Plans are priced per user: Starter $49, Growth $99 and Pro $249 a month (Prospeo pricing, September 2026). API access on Free is disputed. The pricing table shows no public API on Free. The help center lists limited access, and the API docs say free API access for all users (Prospeo help, September 2026). A verified email costs 1 credit and a mobile 10 (Prospeo help, September 2026).

Auth is an X-KEY header. Enrich allows 5 requests a second on Starter and Growth and 30 on Pro, with daily caps of 2,000, 5,000 and 500,000. Search is slower, at 1, 2 and 5 a second (Prospeo docs, September 2026).

Search returns 25 results a page at 1 credit a page, and a search stops at 25,000 results. Results carry no email or mobile, so you pay again to enrich (Prospeo docs, September 2026). Bulk enrichment takes up to 50 records per request. The hosted MCP server at mcp.prospeo.io exposes 8 tools with OAuth 2.0 or an API key (Prospeo MCP docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • OAuth or API key on an MCP server with search and enrichment.
  • 30 enrich requests a second and 500,000 a day on Pro.
  • No credit charged when a lookup finds nothing.
  • Chrome extension and CRM sync for reps.

Cons

  • Every paid plan is priced per user.
  • Starter caps enrichment at 2,000 calls a day, which is 60,000 a month.
  • Search costs a credit per 25 results, so list building is metered.

Best for: small teams that want an extension, CRM sync and an API in one per-seat plan.

Pricing: Free with 100 credits a month. Starter $49, Growth $99, Pro $249 per user a month. Add-on credits fall to $0.009 at 500,000 yearly credits (Prospeo pricing, September 2026). Prospeo publishes nothing above 500,000 credits a year ($4,500, $0.009 a credit) or 350,000 a month ($3,500, $0.01). Higher volume needs support to enable extended add-on pricing (Prospeo help center, September 2026).

6. Findymail: best for verified emails from a LinkedIn URL

Findymail is an email finder that verifies each address when you ask for it. It is the nearest like-for-like swap for Wiza's reveal call. It bills one credit per email found and 10 per phone number. It does not publish prices in a form we can read, so see Findymail's pricing page and we quote no Findymail price here.

Auth is a Bearer token. The docs state 300 concurrent requests, with lower caps on some search endpoints (Findymail API docs, September 2026). The phone endpoint returns US numbers only.

The official MCP server has 14 tools and signs in through the browser or with a bearer token (Findymail Cursor plugin, September 2026).

Pros

  • Only verified emails are returned.
  • MCP server with 14 tools.
  • A bounce guarantee advertised on its pricing page.

Cons

  • No price we can quote here. Check its pricing page for your volume.
  • Phones are US only and cost 10 credits each.
  • Search is a plain-language query, not structured filters.

Best for: outbound teams that want verified emails from a LinkedIn URL with a guarantee.

Pricing: Not published here. See Findymail's pricing page.

7. People Data Labs: best for licensed datasets and per-match enrichment

people-data-labs homepage

People Data Labs (PDL) is a long-running person and company data API. It lists 2.47 billion profiles in its All dataset, 592 million with an email (PDL datasets, September 2026). It charges per match, and a request that finds nobody costs nothing.

The entry price is high per record. Pro starts at $98 a month for 350 credits, and PDL puts Pro profiles at about $0.20 to $0.28 each. Free gives up to 100 records a month with contact data hidden (PDL pricing, September 2026). The key goes in a header or a parameter.

Enrichment allows 1,000 calls a minute on paid plans, and Bulk Person Enrichment takes 100 people per request (PDL docs, September 2026). Person Search defaults to 10 calls a minute (PDL docs, September 2026). We found no official MCP server in PDL's docs index (PDL docs, September 2026).

Pros

  • The fastest stated enrichment limit here for a per-credit tool: 1,000 calls a minute.
  • Bulk enrichment, plus dataset licences for your own warehouse.
  • A request that finds nobody costs nothing.

Cons

  • About $0.20 to $0.28 a profile, and no public 1M price. Above about 100,000 profiles a year it is quote only.
  • No official MCP server found, so agents need a wrapper you host.

Best for: data teams that license files or need a schema-first person API and accept per-record pricing.

Pricing: Free up to 100 records a month. Pro from $98 a month for 350 credits. Enterprise custom (PDL pricing, September 2026).

Sources are linked in each tool section, all checked in September 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm on the pricing page before you buy. The 1M column is list-price arithmetic on email lookups. Findymail and PDL publish no 1M price. Prospeo uses the cheapest public path, seats plus the largest monthly add-on. LeadMagic and FullEnrich publish nothing at that volume.

How to choose

  • You pull data in code or with an agent, at volume: LeadOcean. One flat price, REST and MCP on every plan, 100 requests per second.
  • You want a flat-price API from a second vendor: BlitzAPI Plus, if you can live with a docs-only MCP server.
  • You buy valid emails by the hundred thousand: LeadMagic, at $0.0085 a credit on Ultimate.
  • You need waterfall emails and mobiles: FullEnrich, and budget 10 credits per mobile.
  • Your reps want an extension and CRM sync: Prospeo, or stay on Wiza.
  • You want verified emails from a LinkedIn URL with a bounce guarantee: Findymail, which advertises a bounce guarantee on its pricing page.
  • You need licensed datasets or a schema-first person API: People Data Labs.
  • One rep reveals a few hundred LinkedIn profiles a month: stay on Wiza. Its Starter plan costs far less than $499.

Verdict

LeadOcean wins for developers who pull data by API, agent or at volume. It has a flat price, a synchronous lookup, 100 requests per second and an MCP server that returns records. BlitzAPI is the flat-price runner-up if you run your own code. LeadMagic wins for cheap valid emails and FullEnrich for waterfall mobiles. Prospeo suits reps who want an extension, Findymail suits teams that want its advertised bounce guarantee, and PDL suits data teams that license files. Stay on Wiza if your work is one LinkedIn profile at a time. Otherwise start free and compare the same lookup.

FAQ

Why do developers leave Wiza's API?

Price, limits and shape. Pricing is behind a sales call, credits expire after 12 months, and the Starter API runs at a concurrency of 5 (Wiza docs, September 2026). Lookups are also a POST followed by a GET.

What are Wiza's API rate limits?

The docs give a concurrency of 5 on Starter API and 15+ on Enterprise, with a queue of 200 times your concurrency. The help center says 15 requests per second on Individual Reveal and 10 lists a minute (Wiza help, October 2026). The two pages measure different things and Wiza does not reconcile them. Plan around the docs figure of 5 in flight on Starter, and ask Wiza which limit applies to your plan.

What does the Wiza API cost at 1M records a month?

Wiza does not publish it. A valid email is 2 API credits, so 1M emails is 2M credits, sold through a slider or an enterprise deal (Wiza docs, September 2026). The per-seat route costs about $33,200 a month at list.

Does Wiza have an MCP server?

Yes, at https://mcp.wiza.co/mcp. It exposes 5 tools, signs in with OAuth 2.1 or a bearer token, and needs API access and API credits (Wiza MCP guide, September 2026). LeadOcean's server has 12 tools and is on every plan, including Free.

How do I bulk export without hitting a list limit?

On Wiza, a list takes up to 2,500 profiles per request and list creation is capped at 10 a minute (Wiza help, September 2026). On LeadOcean, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request.

Do I need a credit card to try LeadOcean?

No. The free plan needs a work email and no card. It gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with the same API and MCP server as Pro. See pricing.
