Coresignal and Wiza both sell professional contact data, but to different buyers. Coresignal is a data API you pay for by the credit. Wiza is a LinkedIn prospecting tool you pay for by the seat, with its API behind a sales step. Neither publishes a clean price at 1M records.
Verdict
- Pick Coresignal if you build a product or pipeline on employee, company and job data, want job postings or licensed datasets, and can budget in credits. Every plan price is on the page (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
- Pick Wiza if one rep or a small team prospects from LinkedIn and wants phone numbers, a Chrome extension and a live check at request time. One seat is cheap (Wiza pricing, September 2026).
- Pick neither if you want people and company records with emails and phones by API at volume on one fixed bill. Both tools meter, and neither sells 1M a month off the page. LeadOcean is one option, covered below.

Data and coverage
The two headline counts do not measure the same thing. Coresignal states 907M+ employee records, 70M+ company records and 482M+ job postings (Coresignal, September 2026). Wiza states 850M+ contacts and gives no split by email, phone or company (Wiza, September 2026).
Coresignal is a raw data source. It sells records and lets you search them for free, and company data is delivered daily (Coresignal, September 2026). Contact data is the thin part. The professional email and its status sit on multi-source employee records, and no phone field appears in the dictionaries (Coresignal data dictionary, September 2026).
Wiza is built around contact data. Its homepage says it verifies a contact "the moment you request it" against live sources, and claims 99%+ deliverability (Wiza, September 2026). Those are vendor claims. It also bills an email only when it is marked valid (Wiza docs, September 2026).
Coresignal adds job postings, company records and historical data that Wiza does not publish. Wiza adds the LinkedIn workflow. It builds lists from Sales Navigator, Recruiter or a CSV, and it ships a Chrome extension (Wiza help, September 2026; Wiza).
One regional note. Coresignal's MCP server excludes EEA and UK employees from email lookups (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026). Neither tool publishes a find rate, so run 500 of your own contacts through both and compare hits and bounces.
API and developer experience
Coresignal is one synchronous call. Wiza is two: start a reveal, then read the result. The requests below come from each tool's docs, with placeholder people.
Coresignal, collect a multi-source employee record by profile shorthand name.
curl -X GET "https://api.coresignal.com/cdapi/v2/employee_multi_source/collect/jane-doe" \
-H "accept: application/json" \
-H "apikey: $CORESIGNAL_API_KEY"A successful collect on a multi-source record costs 20 credits (Coresignal docs, September 2026). You find the record first with search by filter or Elasticsearch DSL, which is free (Coresignal docs, September 2026). The collect URL and key format come from the Multi-source Employee API docs (Coresignal docs, September 2026).
Wiza, start an individual reveal by name, company and domain.
curl -X POST "https://wiza.co/api/individual_reveals" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $WIZA_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"individual_reveal":{"full_name":"Jane Doe","company":"Acme","domain":"acme.com"},"enrichment_level":"partial","email_options":{"accept_work":true,"accept_personal":false}}'The response is a queued job with an id. You read the result with GET /api/individual_reveals/{id} or wait for a webhook (Wiza docs, September 2026). Before you can call it, support must enable API access on the account (Wiza help, September 2026).
Rate limits read differently. Coresignal publishes a requests-per-second ceiling by plan, from 5 to 100+ (Coresignal docs, September 2026). Wiza limits concurrency: 5 requests in flight on Starter API and 15+ on Enterprise API (Wiza docs, September 2026). Plan around the lower docs figure.
On MCP, both ship a hosted server with 5 tools and OAuth 2.1. Coresignal's tools are entity_search, entity_fetch, entity_fields, artifact_read and email_enrich. Wiza's include enrich_contact and search_prospects (Wiza MCP guide, September 2026).
Pricing
Coresignal sells a monthly or yearly plan that holds credits. Wiza sells a seat, plus credits for API use. Figures show the monthly list price first, then the billed-yearly price. USD, September 2026.
At 10,000 work emails a month
Assume every lookup finds a valid email.
- Coresignal: contact enrichment costs 20 credits a call, so 10,000 lookups is 200,000 credits. Pro has 35,000 and Growth 150,000, so neither fits. Premium has 1,000,000 credits for $1,500 a month, or $1,350 a month billed yearly ($16,200 a year) (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). You use a fifth of the credits. Monthly Premium is self-serve (Get started opens sign-up), while the yearly plan goes through Contact us (Coresignal pricing, October 2026).
- Wiza, monthly: the Email plan is $99 a seat and includes 500 valid emails. Extra emails cost $0.15 each. So $99 + (9,500 x $0.15) = $99 + $1,425 = $1,524 a month for one seat (Wiza pricing, September 2026).
- Wiza, yearly: the Email plan is $83 a seat a month ($990 a year) with unlimited email reveals. List exports are capped at 2,500 a month, so 10,000 contacts is 4 seats: 4 x $83 = $332 a month (Wiza help, September 2026).
That $332 is not a price you can buy. Wiza puts teams of 3 or more users on custom Team pricing (Wiza pricing, September 2026). Through the API a valid email is 2 credits, so 10,000 emails is 20,000 credits, and the dollar price per credit is not public.
At 1M work emails a month
- Coresignal: No public 1M price. 1,000,000 lookups x 20 credits is 20,000,000 credits. The largest plan, Elite, is $5,000 a month ($4,500 billed yearly) for 10,000,000 credits, which covers 500,000 lookups (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
- Our arithmetic, not a published price: two Elite months at $0.0005 a credit is about $10,000. Stacking two Elite plans is not documented.
- Wiza: No public 1M price. Its API page says "Book a call to discuss API pricing" (Wiza API page, September 2026). API credits come from an in-app slider or an enterprise deal, and they expire after 12 months (Wiza docs, September 2026).
We do not multiply a Wiza rate out to 1M, because Wiza sells no 1M plan. Ask both vendors for a quote at your volume.
| Records a month | Coresignal | Wiza |
|---|---|---|
| 10,000 emails | $1,500 a month (Premium), $1,350 billed yearly | $1,524 on one monthly seat, or 4 yearly seats at $332 if Team pricing allowed it |
| 1M emails | No public 1M price | No public 1M price |
Coresignal gets cheaper per record if you do not need contact data. A Base employee record costs 10 credits, so 10,000 of them is 100,000 credits on Growth at $1,000 a month, or $900 billed yearly. Base records carry no email field.
Where Coresignal wins
- More data types. Job postings, company records, historical headcount and licensed flat-file datasets. Wiza publishes none of these.
- A readable price ladder. Seven paid plans with every price and credit count on one page. Wiza's API price sits behind a call.
- A faster API. 50 requests a second on Premium and 100+ on Elite, against a concurrency limit of 5 to 15+.
- Bigger bulk pulls. Bulk Collect returns up to 10,000 records per request, against 2,500 per Wiza list.
- Free search. Searching by filter or Elasticsearch DSL costs no credits. You pay when you collect.
Where Wiza wins
- Phone numbers. Wiza returns phones at 5 API credits each. Coresignal documents no phone field.
- A live check. Wiza says it verifies contact data at the moment of the request, and bills only valid emails.
- A LinkedIn workflow. A Chrome extension, Sales Navigator and Recruiter lists, and CRM integrations.
- The cheapest single seat. A free plan with 20 valid emails, Starter at $49 a month, and unlimited email reveals at $83 a month billed yearly. Coresignal's contact enrichment starts at Pro, $499 a month.
- No developer needed. A rep can use it from a browser. Coresignal assumes you write code.
If you need volume through an API
Both tools meter, and neither publishes a 1M price. LeadOcean is a people and company data API with an MCP server. The Free plan gives 1,000 records one-off with no card, and Pro is $499 a month, flat, with no credits and no per-record price. Both plans get REST and a 12-tool MCP server, and POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). LeadOcean has no Chrome extension.
FAQ
Is Coresignal or Wiza better for finding emails?
Wiza is better for a rep who wants a live-checked email and a phone number from a LinkedIn profile. Coresignal is better if you already collect employee records by API and want the email on the record. Run both on 500 of your contacts before you pay.
Which is cheaper, Coresignal or Wiza?
Wiza is cheaper for one person: Starter is $49 a month, against Coresignal's Mini at $49 with no contact enrichment. For 10,000 email lookups a month, Coresignal Premium is $1,500 and one monthly Wiza seat is $1,524 (Coresignal pricing, September 2026; Wiza pricing, September 2026). Wiza's yearly seats are cheaper, but 3 or more seats move to custom pricing.
Do Coresignal and Wiza have an API and an MCP server?
Yes, both. Coresignal's REST API takes an apikey header and a self-service key. Wiza's API is at wiza.co/api and support enables it. Both MCP servers have 5 tools, and Wiza's needs API access and credits (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026; Wiza MCP guide, September 2026).
Which one has phone numbers?
Wiza. It charges 5 API credits per phone returned, or $0.35 each beyond a monthly plan's allowance (Wiza docs, September 2026). No phone field appears in Coresignal's employee dictionaries.
Is Wiza's dataset bigger than Coresignal's?
Not on the stated numbers. Wiza says 850M+ contacts and Coresignal says 907M+ employee records, plus company and job data. The counts measure different things, so test both on your own list (Wiza; Coresignal).
What does each cost at 1M records?
Neither publishes a price. Coresignal's largest plan covers 500,000 email lookups, and Wiza's API pricing is a sales call (Coresignal pricing, September 2026; Wiza API page, September 2026).
