Findymail vs Wiza

Findymail vs Wiza (2026): Data, Pricing and API Compared

Findymail bills credits for verified emails and hides its plan prices. Wiza sells LinkedIn-first seats and quotes its API on a call. Here is who should pick which.

Findymail and Wiza both find a verified work email and charge only when they find one. They are built for different people. Findymail is an email finder with an API, a verifier and lead search. Wiza is a LinkedIn prospecting tool sold by the seat, with an API on a separate quote.

Every fact below was checked in September 2026 and carries its source link. Where a vendor showed nothing we could read, the page says so.

Verdict

  • Pick Findymail if you want a Bearer-token API with one synchronous call, a standalone verifier and US phone numbers. Ask for a quote before you buy at volume. It offers a free API key and lists each endpoint's credit cost.
  • Pick Wiza if a rep works inside LinkedIn Sales Navigator and wants list exports and CRM sync on a seat. A single annual seat includes unlimited email reveals, and Wiza claims the bigger database at 850M+ contacts.
  • Pick neither if you start from an audience, not a name list, or you need a fixed bill at 1M records. Neither publishes a 1M price. See the LeadOcean section below.

Data and coverage

Neither tool sells a database you browse by title or industry. Both take a person and resolve an address, so coverage is a find rate on your list. Neither publishes a find rate we could verify.

Wiza claims the bigger database. Its homepage says 850M+ contacts and says it verifies data "the moment you request it" instead of serving a stored copy (Wiza, September 2026). It publishes no company count and no email or phone count. A larger number is not a higher hit rate, so test both on your own list.

Findymail publishes no database size. Its docs say a finder credit is used only if a verified email is found (Findymail API docs, September 2026). It reaches further in four places:

  • Phones: 10 credits per number, found from a profile URL, US numbers only. EU citizens return nothing.
  • Lead search: Intellimatch takes a query such as "SaaS companies in US" and exports up to 5,000 companies per search.
  • Employees: one call returns people at a company by job title, 1 credit per contact, with no email attached.
  • Verifier: POST /api/verify checks an address you already have for one verifier credit.

Wiza reaches further in one place: LinkedIn. It builds lists from Sales Navigator, Recruiter or a CSV. A reveal accepts a profile URL, an email, or a name with a company or domain (Wiza docs, September 2026).

API and developer experience

Findymail answers in one call. Wiza is two steps: start a reveal, then fetch it by id or wait for a webhook. The placeholders below stand in for real people.

Findymail, from its API docs, checked September 2026:

bash
curl --request POST "https://app.findymail.com/api/search/name" \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $FINDYMAIL_API_KEY" \
  --header "Content-Type: application/json" \
--data '{"name": "Jane Doe", "domain": "acme.com"}'

It returns a contact object with the email, or nothing if no verified email exists. Add webhook_url and the search runs in the background and posts the result to you.

Wiza, from its Start Individual Reveal docs, checked September 2026:

bash
curl --request POST "https://wiza.co/api/individual_reveals" \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $WIZA_API_KEY" \
  --header "Content-Type: application/json" \
  --data '{"individual_reveal": {"full_name": "Jane Doe", "company": "Acme", "domain": "acme.com"}, "enrichment_level": "partial", "email_options": {"accept_work": true, "accept_personal": false}}'

The reply is a queued job with an id and "status": "queued". Fetch it with GET /api/individual_reveals/{id}. Wiza says a work email takes 0 to 380 seconds, about 25 on average. A personal email averages about 4 seconds (Wiza docs, September 2026). Build for a queue.

The limits differ in kind. Findymail allows 300 simultaneous requests on most endpoints. Wiza's help center states the Individual Reveal limit as 15 requests a second. Its docs describe a concurrency of 5 on Starter API and 15+ on Enterprise API, with a queue of 200 times that (Wiza docs, September 2026). The two pages disagree, so ask Wiza which applies to your key.

Both have a hosted MCP server. Findymail's has 14 tools and signs in through the browser, with a bearer token as the fallback. Wiza's has 5 tools and needs API access and credits first.

Pricing

Findymail's plan prices sit behind a bot check, so only Wiza can be priced end to end. Both bill on found data, so the examples assume every lookup finds a work email. A lower find rate lowers the bill.

At 10,000 work emails a month

  • Findymail: 10,000 finder credits at 1 credit per email. We could not read plan prices, so find the step that covers 10,000 on Findymail's pricing page. Phones cost 10 credits each, so 10,000 phones is 100,000 credits.
  • Wiza on a monthly seat: the Email plan is $99 a month for 500 valid emails. The other 9,500 cost $0.15 each, which is $1,425. The total is $99 + $1,425 = $1,524 a month (Wiza pricing, September 2026).
  • Wiza on annual seats: email reveals are unlimited, but exports stop at 2,500 a month per seat. Exporting 10,000 a month takes 4 seats, and 3 or more users fall on the Team plan, which has custom pricing (Wiza pricing, September 2026). One annual Email seat ($990 a year) covers 2,500 exports a month.
  • Wiza through the API: 10,000 valid emails is 20,000 credits at 2 each. The dollar price per credit is not public.

At 1M work emails a month

  • Findymail: 1,000,000 finder credits. No public 1M price. Ask for a quote.
  • Wiza: No public 1M price. Seat plans cap exports at 2,500 a month per seat. API access sits on a custom Team plan. Larger API credit packs are quoted on a call (Wiza docs, September 2026). We do not multiply a seat rate out to 1M, because Wiza does not sell it that way.

At 10,000 a month the only public figure is Wiza's $1,524 on a monthly seat. The annual route needs 4 seats, which Wiza quotes as a Team plan. At 1M, both vendors want a conversation. Ask each for a quote at your volume, in writing, with phones priced separately.

Where Findymail wins

  • A simpler API. One POST returns the email or nothing, and a miss costs nothing. Wiza's work-email path is queued and can run for minutes.
  • Published endpoint costs and limits. Every call lists its credit cost, and the default limit is 300 simultaneous requests.
  • A standalone verifier. You can check emails from any source for one verifier credit each.
  • Lead search in the same account. Intellimatch, employees and reverse email lookup sit next to the finder.

Where Wiza wins

  • LinkedIn workflow. Lists from Sales Navigator, Recruiter or a CSV, plus a Chrome extension and CRM integrations on every paid plan (Wiza pricing, September 2026).
  • A bigger claimed database. 850M+ contacts, checked against live sources at request time.
  • Cheap for one rep. An annual Email seat is $83 a month ($990 billed yearly) with unlimited email reveals, and the monthly Starter is $49.
  • Published prices. Every seat plan and the $0.15 and $0.35 overage rates are on one page we could read.

If you need volume through an API

Neither tool is built to pull a million records from a filterable database. LeadOcean holds 693M people and 63M companies behind REST and a 12-tool MCP server, with 100 requests per second per key on every plan. Pro is $499 a month flat with no credits and no per-record price, and Free gives 1,000 records one-off with no card. POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). It is not a drop-in swap for name-and-domain lookups, since you search by domain first and then enrich by person_id. See LeadOcean pricing.

FAQ

Is Findymail or Wiza better for finding emails?

Both charge only for a found, valid email. Findymail is easier to call from code, with one synchronous POST. Wiza is better if your reps work in LinkedIn and want lists exported to a CRM.

Which is cheaper, Findymail or Wiza?

We could not read Findymail's plan prices behind a bot check. Wiza's are public: Starter is $49 a month per user, and an annual Email seat is $83 a month. Neither publishes a 1M price.

Do both have an API and an MCP server?

Yes. Findymail has a Bearer-token REST API and an MCP server with 14 tools. Wiza has a Bearer-token REST API and an MCP server with 5 tools, and both need API access and credits.

Which one has phone numbers?

Both sell them. Findymail charges 10 credits per number and covers US numbers only. Wiza charges 5 API credits per phone, or $0.35 per extra phone on monthly plans. If your list is global, check coverage on a sample first. LeadOcean holds 166M people with a phone number.

Does Wiza publish its API price?

No. Its API page says to book a call to discuss pricing (Wiza API, September 2026). The docs publish credit costs: 2 for an email, 5 for a phone and 1 for a matched profile. The dollar price per credit is not public.

Is there a cheaper way to get 1M records?

If you can start from filters, yes. LeadOcean Pro is $499 a month flat, and counts are free. Read Findymail alternatives and the Findymail alternative page.
