The cheapest Coresignal plan is the Free trial at $0, with 2,000 credits valid for 7 days. The cheapest paid plan is Mini at $49 a month for 2,500 credits. The page does not say which plan is most popular The page marks no plan as most popular. Its calculator suggests a recommended plan from the credits you enter (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). Pro at $499 a month buys 35,000 credits and is the tier to weigh against a flat fee (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
A credit is the only unit. A Base employee record costs 10 credits and a multi-source record costs 20. One million Base records is 10,000,000 credits, which is one Elite plan at $5,000 a month. One million multi-source records is 20,000,000 credits, about $10,000 at the Elite rate, and no listed plan covers it.
Coresignal is a data provider first. You buy a credit balance and spend it on employee, company and job records. There are no seats.

Source: Coresignal pricing, pricing docs and rate limits, all checked September 2026. Per-credit prices are our arithmetic: price divided by credits.
Annual billing takes 10% off the monthly price on the pricing page. Pro is $5,389 a year for 420,000 credits, and Elite is $54,000 for 120,000,000. Both equal 10% off 12 months of the monthly price. The docs page lists no annual dollar prices, only the 10% discount (Coresignal pricing, September 2026; Coresignal docs, September 2026).
Datasets are a separate product, from $1,000 and priced by contract length, dataset locations and source tier (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
What a credit buys
Credits come off on each successful collect or enrich request. Bulk Collect charges per record when the file is ready (Coresignal credits docs, September 2026). Search by filter or Elasticsearch DSL is free, but search preview is not.
| Action | Credit cost | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Base or Clean employee or company record | 10 | Pricing docs |
| Multi-source employee or company record | 20 | Pricing docs |
| Base or Clean search preview (per query, up to 20 results) | 10 | Pricing docs |
| Multi-source search preview | 20 | Pricing docs |
| Job posting | 1 | Pricing docs |
| Employee post or company post | 1 | Pricing docs |
| Historical headcount | 10 | Pricing docs |
| Real-time Employee API | 12 | Pricing docs |
| Contact enrichment | 20 | Coresignal pricing |
| Agentic Search, fast | 20 | Pricing docs |
| Agentic Search, reasoning | 100 | Pricing docs |
| Search by filter or Elasticsearch DSL | 0 | Pricing docs |
MCP entity_search | 20 a call | MCP docs |
MCP entity_fetch | 1 to 20 a record | MCP docs |
MCP email_enrich | 20 a email found, not in EEA or UK. The live MCP server text and the pricing page bill 20, while the MCP docs page and the GitHub README still say 10. We use 20 and treat the docs page as out of date. | MCP docs |
All sources checked September 2026. The docs do not say whether a failed request costs credits.
Hidden costs
The sticker price is per credit. The real bill depends on which record level you pull, how you find the IDs and how much you waste each month.
- Credits reset monthly. On monthly plans unused credits do not carry over. Annual credits last 12 months. Premium, Scale and Elite monthly plans get a 3-month rollover. Growth does not (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
- Multi-source doubles the price. It costs 20 credits against 10 for Base. Check which level your use case needs before you size a plan.
- Search preview bills. Each query returns up to 20 results for 10 or 20 credits. Previewing a big audience costs credits before you collect anything.
- Contact enrichment is its own charge. An email lookup costs 20 credits on top of the profile, and the Contact Enrichment API starts at Pro. Multi-source employee records carry professional emails and a 4-value email status (Coresignal docs, September 2026). The Base Employee API lists no email field. No phone field appears in either dictionary.
- Low tiers are slow. Mini and Starter run at 5 requests a second. Real-time Employee lookups are capped at 50 URLs a minute, and reasoning agentic search at 10 requests an hour (Coresignal rate limits, September 2026).
- Bulk Collect has a ceiling. One request takes at most 10,000 records, and larger ones are rejected (Coresignal bulk collect docs, September 2026).
- No overage price. When credits run out, requests return a 402 error. You renew or upgrade, and that resets your billing cycle to the day you buy.
- The free trial is small. 2,000 credits is 200 Base records or 100 multi-source records, and it expires after 7 days.
Worked examples
All examples assume one record per person, every lookup found, no retries. List price, before any volume discount. Cheapest plan that covers the credits, monthly billing.
10k records a month
- Base: 10,000 x 10 = 100,000 credits. Pro (35,000) is short. Growth gives 150,000 for $1,000 a month, about $0.10 a record.
- Multi-source: 10,000 x 20 = 200,000 credits. Growth is short. Premium gives 1,000,000 for $1,500 a month, with rollover on unused credits.
- Emails by contact enrichment: 10,000 x 20 = 200,000 credits, also $1,500 on Premium.
- LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat.
1M records a month
- Base: 1,000,000 x 10 = 10,000,000 credits. One Elite plan, $5,000 a month.
- Multi-source: 1,000,000 x 20 = 20,000,000 credits. That is two Elite plans at $10,000, or a custom quote Coresignal lists no plan above Elite, which is $5,000 a month for 10,000,000 credits at $0.0005 a credit. Beyond that there is no public price, and two Elite months at the same rate is our derived figure of $10,000 for 20,000,000 credits (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
- Rate limit is not the constraint: Bulk Collect at 10,000 a request is 100 requests.
- LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat.
25M records a month
- Base: 25,000,000 x 10 = 250,000,000 credits x $0.0005 = $125,000 a month. Annual Elite at $0.00045 a credit brings it to about $112,500 a month.
- Multi-source: 25,000,000 x 20 = 500,000,000 credits x $0.0005 = $250,000 a month.
- Bulk Collect: 2,500 requests of 10,000 records each.
- LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute past the fair-usage line, not cut off. One email to support gets more headroom.
Coresignal's own $499 Pro plan buys 3,500 Base records. Above that, a $499 flat fee is the cheaper bill for contact data. The exception is job postings at 1 credit, where Coresignal is cheap.
Is it worth it
Coresignal is worth it if you need job postings, raw profile volume or licensed datasets. It is a poor fit if you need phone numbers or a fixed bill.
- Recruiting or hiring-signal analysts: Yes. Job postings cost 1 credit, so a Pro plan covers 35,000 of them.
- Data team loading a warehouse: Look at datasets from $1,000 a month. That beats paying per call.
- Sales team that needs emails and phones: No. No phone field appears in the employee data dictionaries, and each email costs 20 credits.
- Engineer or agent pulling contacts at volume: The credit meter gets expensive past Pro. A flat fee is easier to forecast.
- Startup testing data quality: Use the trial, but 2,000 credits over 7 days is enough for about 200 Base records.
- Large enterprise: Ask for a quote. Nothing above Elite is listed.
For a wider comparison, see the Coresignal alternative page and Coresignal alternatives.
Alternatives with a different price model
These three charge per found contact, per record retrieved or a flat fee. None sells a 10-to-20 credit record.
FullEnrich: pay per found contact. The Pro plan starts at $29 a month for 500 credits, and the default $55 step buys 1,000 credits at $0.055 a credit, with unlimited users and rollover (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). A work email is 1 credit and a mobile number is 10. See FullEnrich alternatives.
People Data Labs: pay per record retrieved. Free gives up to 100 credits a month with contact data obfuscated. Pro starts at $98 a month for 350 credits, with volume pricing above that and custom Enterprise terms (People Data Labs pricing, September 2026). See People Data Labs alternatives.
LeadOcean: flat fee. Free is 1,000 records one-off with no card. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 100 requests per second per key and 5 API keys. There is no credit balance and no overage invoice. It covers 693M people and 63M companies, with a phone number for 166M people, over REST and MCP. It has no job postings, so keep Coresignal for those. See pricing.
