BlitzAPI is a data API built around verified work emails, sold at one flat monthly fee. Coresignal is a data source for profiles, companies and job postings, sold in credits. Pick BlitzAPI to pull work emails from code at a predictable bill. Pick Coresignal when you need job postings or company signals.
All prices and limits below were checked in September 2026, each with its source link. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the page says so.
Verdict
- Pick BlitzAPI if you mostly need verified work emails for LinkedIn profiles, and you want one flat bill. Plus lists at $499 a month. New accounts run at 5 requests per second; accounts opened by September 30, 2026 keep 50.
- Pick Coresignal if you need job postings, company data or historical headcount, or an official MCP server that returns records. Its price ladder is public from $49 to $5,000 a month.
- Pick neither if you need phone numbers beyond the US, a CSV export, or a price you can read at 1M records. BlitzAPI's phones are US only and Coresignal publishes no 1M price. LeadOcean is one option.

Data and coverage
Coresignal is the bigger and wider database. BlitzAPI is narrower and proves its emails. The counts are not like for like.
Coresignal lists 907M+ employee records, 70M+ companies and 482M+ job postings, with company data it says is delivered daily (Coresignal, September 2026). BlitzAPI lists 550M+ profiles, 65M+ companies and 100M+ job postings (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).
Email is where they split. BlitzAPI counts 65M+ verified work emails, and an address it cannot prove comes back as not found. Coresignal publishes no email count. Its multi-source employee records carry a professional email with four status levels: verified, matched_email, matched_pattern and guessed_common_pattern. Its Base Employee API pages list no email field (Coresignal data dictionary, September 2026).
Two of those four statuses are pattern guesses. If you send cold email, filter to verified and test a sample before you buy.
Phones favor BlitzAPI, narrowly. It holds 45M+ US numbers on the $599 Full plan, and the free trial excludes phone endpoints (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). Neither Coresignal employee dictionary lists a phone field, so a dial list needs another source.
Coresignal's edge is signals. It sells job postings at 1 credit each, plus historical headcount and employee posts (Coresignal docs, September 2026). If hiring triggers drive your outbound, that matters more than a contact count.
On the MCP server, Coresignal email lookups exclude employees in the EEA and UK (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026). If your list is European, test that first.
API and developer experience
Both are plain REST APIs with a key header. BlitzAPI has fewer inputs and a simpler answer. Coresignal has more record types and a credit meter behind every call.
BlitzAPI's work email lookup takes a LinkedIn URL. It returns found, the verified email and an all_emails array. It counts one record on the trial and nothing extra on a paid plan (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).
curl -X POST "https://api.blitz-api.ai/v2/enrichment/email" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "x-api-key: $BLITZAPI_API_KEY" \
-d '{"person_linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe"}'Coresignal sends the key in an apikey header. The collect call takes a shorthand name from a profile URL and costs 20 credits on the multi-source API (Coresignal docs, September 2026).
curl -X GET \
"https://api.coresignal.com/cdapi/v2/employee_multi_source/collect/jane-doe" \
-H "accept: application/json" \
-H "apikey: $CORESIGNAL_API_KEY"Search is different. Coresignal search by filter or Elasticsearch DSL is free and returns IDs. You pay when you collect, and a search preview costs credits (Coresignal docs, September 2026). BlitzAPI Find People returns 50 results a page and stops at 50,000 results per query (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).
Rate limits scale in different ways. BlitzAPI runs at 50 requests per second per endpoint for accounts opened by September 30, and the standard rate is 5 (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). Coresignal ties speed to the plan: 5 a second up to Starter, 10 on Pro, 20 on Growth, 50 on Premium and 100 on Scale (Coresignal rate limits, September 2026).
For agents, only Coresignal returns records. Its server signs in with OAuth 2.1 at https://mcp.coresignal.com/mcp/v2 and has 5 tools. entity_search costs 20 credits a call and entity_fetch costs 20 credits per employee or company record. Email lookup costs 20 credits per email found, per the server's tool text and the pricing page, and misses are free (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). The MCP docs page still says 10 (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026).
BlitzAPI's MCP server gives an AI tool live access to its documentation only. It cannot search people or companies (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).
For bulk work, Coresignal's Bulk Collect takes up to 10,000 records per request (Coresignal docs, September 2026). BlitzAPI documents no bulk or CSV export, and data comes through cursor pagination. We did not check the signed-in app.
Pricing
BlitzAPI charges per month, whatever you pull. Coresignal sells monthly plans that hold a credit balance, and each record type burns a set number of credits. To compare them, convert both to the cost of a work-email lookup.
At 10,000 records a month
For BlitzAPI, 10,000 lookups need Plus, because Core has no verified emails. Plus is $499 a month. Only emails it finds count as results, so 10,000 lookups return at most 10,000 (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).
For Coresignal, contact enrichment costs 20 credits a call. So 10,000 x 20 = 200,000 credits. The Contact Enrichment API is included from Pro upward. Pro holds 35,000 credits and Growth holds 150,000, so neither covers it (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
That leaves Premium at $1,500 a month for 1,000,000 credits, or $1,350 a month billed yearly at $16,200. Your 200,000 credits use a fifth of it. $1,500 / 10,000 lookups is $0.15 a lookup. Premium shows a Get started button, but the pricing page data flags it as contact-sales, so expect a sales step (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
At this size BlitzAPI is cheaper: $1,500 - $499 = $1,001 a month on the monthly price. Premium credits roll over for 3 months, which softens the gap if your volume is uneven (Coresignal docs, September 2026).
At 1M records a month
BlitzAPI at 1M is $499 a month for an account opened by September 30, 2026. 1,000,000 results sit under that account's 15,000,000 results a month fair use line, so one Plus plan covers it: $499 x 1 month = $499 (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).
Coresignal has no public price at 1M. 1,000,000 lookups x 20 credits = 20,000,000 credits, and no public plan reaches that. The top plan, Elite, is $5,000 a month for 10,000,000 credits, which covers 500,000 lookups (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).
Two Elite months at $0.0005 a credit would come to $10,000. That is derived, not published, and Coresignal does not document buying two Elite plans at once. Ask for a quote.
Profile records are a different sum. A Base employee record costs 10 credits, so 1,000,000 records is 10,000,000 credits, one Elite month at $5,000, or $4,500 billed yearly at $54,000 (Coresignal docs, September 2026). Base employee records list no email field. BlitzAPI's Core plan at $399 covers everything except verified emails and phones, under the same 15,000,000 line for accounts opened by September 30.
One caution on BlitzAPI. The 50 requests per second and the 15,000,000 fair use line belong to accounts opened by September 30, 2026. That offer closed on September 30. The pricing page still lists $399, $499 and $599 but no fair use volume for later accounts (BlitzAPI pricing, October 2026). The standard rate is 5 requests per second (BlitzAPI Terms, September 2026).
Time matters at 1M too. On BlitzAPI, 1,000,000 / 50 per second is 20,000 seconds, about 5.6 hours. At 5 per second it is about 2.3 days. BlitzAPI paid plans carry no SLA (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Where BlitzAPI wins
- Predictable cost. A flat monthly fee, no credits and no overage line.
- Cost for work emails. $499 a month for 10,000 lookups, and $499 for 1M on accounts opened by September 30, against $1,500 and no public price on Coresignal.
- Verified work emails. 65M+ addresses, and an address it cannot prove comes back as not found.
- Phones. 45M+ US numbers exist on the Full plan. Coresignal lists no phone field.
- Speed. 50 requests per second per endpoint on the offer (5 on standard accounts), against 5 to 50 on Coresignal plans up to Premium.
BlitzAPI's weak points are US-only phones, no documented bulk export and an MCP server that only reads docs.
Where Coresignal wins
- Signals. 482M+ job postings, historical headcount, employee posts and company data that BlitzAPI does not sell at that depth.
- Official MCP. An OAuth 2.1 server with 5 tools that return records, against BlitzAPI's docs-only server.
- A public price ladder. Seven paid plans from $49 to $5,000 a month, with rate limits up to 100+ requests per second.
- Bulk. Bulk Collect takes 10,000 records per request, and flat-file datasets start at $1,000 a month.
- Free search. Search by filter or DSL costs nothing until you collect.
Coresignal's weak points are the credit math and the missing 1M price. Email appears only on multi-source records, and two of its four email statuses are guesses.
If you need volume through an API
We build LeadOcean, so weigh this section accordingly. It has a free plan with 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, and no credits or per-record price (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).
It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. The same REST API and a hosted MCP server with 12 tools run on every plan, and the MCP server searches, enriches and exports records (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026).
For bulk pulls, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request, or you can use the Exports page in the app. 1M rows is 20 requests over two days (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). See pricing for the detail.

Does Coresignal have an MCP server?
Yes, at https://mcp.coresignal.com/mcp/v2, with OAuth 2.1 and 5 tools. It returns records and spends credits. BlitzAPI also has an MCP server, but it only searches its API documentation.
Does either tool have phone numbers?
BlitzAPI does, but only 45M+ US numbers and only on the $599 Full plan. Coresignal's employee data dictionaries list no phone field. For phones outside the US, check a sample with another source.
Which is cheaper at 1M records?
BlitzAPI, on public prices: $499 a month at list for 1M work emails, for accounts opened by September 30, 2026. Coresignal has no public 1M price, and the derived figure is about $10,000.
What happens to BlitzAPI pricing after September 30, 2026?
The offer closed to new accounts. The pricing page still lists $399, $499 and $599 but no fair use volume for later accounts (BlitzAPI pricing, October 2026). The standard limit is 5 requests per second (BlitzAPI Terms, September 2026). Check the pricing page on the day you sign up.
Can I export a CSV from either?
Coresignal has Bulk Collect at 10,000 records per request and flat-file datasets. BlitzAPI documents no bulk export, though we did not check its signed-in app. See the BlitzAPI alternatives roundup for tools that export.
