Coresignal vs Kaspr (2026): Data, Pricing and API Compared

Coresignal sells profiles, companies and job postings by the credit through an API. Kaspr sells LinkedIn contact lookups by the seat, with phone and export credits on top. Here is how they differ on coverage, API, MCP and cost at 1M records.

Coresignal and Kaspr both sell contact data by the credit, but they are built for different jobs. Coresignal is a profile, company and job-posting database you query through an API. Kaspr is a LinkedIn contact finder that sells seats, with an API on request.

Verdict

  • Pick Coresignal if you need job postings, raw profile volume or flat-file datasets, and you work in code. It lists 907M+ employee records and 482M+ job postings, and search by filter is free.
  • Pick Kaspr if your reps prospect profile by profile on LinkedIn, mostly in Europe, and want a phone number in one click. Starter is $65 per user a month, billed monthly.
  • Pick neither if you need phone numbers and people search at volume through an API on a flat bill. Coresignal lists no phone field, and Kaspr caps its API at 500 requests a day on Business. LeadOcean is one option: Pro is $499 a month.

Data and coverage

Both vendors publish size claims, not coverage rates. Coresignal also publishes a data dictionary. Test either one on your own list before you sign.

Coresignal's homepage lists 907M+ employee records, 70M+ companies and 482M+ job postings, with company data delivered daily (Coresignal, September 2026). Kaspr's homepage claims 200m+ profiles and 500m+ phone numbers and emails (Kaspr, September 2026). One counts profiles, the other counts contact points.

Email works differently on each. Coresignal's multi-source employee records carry a professional email with four status values: verified, matched_email, matched_pattern and guessed_common_pattern. Its Base Employee API pages list no email field (Coresignal data dictionary, September 2026).

Kaspr gives unlimited B2B email credits on paid plans, under a fair use policy. Direct (personal) email is a separate credit, 5 a month on Starter and 200 on Business (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).

Phone is where they split. Coresignal lists no phone field in either employee dictionary. Kaspr's pitch leads with phone numbers, and Starter includes 100 phone credits a month.

Geography matters too. Kaspr says it holds 200 million European B2B decision-makers from 120+ providers (Kaspr data page, September 2026). Coresignal's MCP email lookup excludes employees in the EEA and UK (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026). If your list is European, test Kaspr first.

Search is the last difference. Coresignal filters people and companies in bulk, with 37 employee filters on the Base API (Coresignal docs, September 2026). Kaspr's API starts from a LinkedIn URL you already have, and finding people happens in its browser extension.

API and developer experience

Coresignal is an API product. Kaspr has an API, but it is an add-on to a LinkedIn product and it is available on request.

Coresignal sends the key in an apikey header. The collect call takes a shorthand name from a profile URL and costs 20 credits on the multi-source API (Coresignal docs, September 2026).

bash
curl -X GET \
  "https://api.coresignal.com/cdapi/v2/employee_multi_source/collect/jane-doe" \
  -H "accept: application/json" \
  -H "apikey: $CORESIGNAL_API_KEY"

Search by filter or Elasticsearch DSL is free and returns IDs. You pay when you collect, and a search preview costs 10 to 20 credits per call of up to 20 results (Coresignal docs, September 2026).

Kaspr's API enriches one profile from a LinkedIn ID. The help center example posts name and id to /profile/linkedin (Kaspr help center, September 2026).

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.developers.kaspr.io/profile/linkedin" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $KASPR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"name":"Jane Doe","id":"jane-doe"}'

Each Kaspr call spends one credit for the data type fetched, plus one export credit for each successful call. Kaspr's docs say limits apply per minute for each workspace, and a key is blocked past them (Kaspr API docs, September 2026).

The rate limits differ in kind. Coresignal ties speed to the plan, from 5 to 100+ requests a second. Kaspr's plan table counts per day: 250 on Starter and 500 on Business (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).

On MCP, Coresignal has a hosted server with 5 tools. It bills entity_search at 20 credits a call, and entity_fields is free (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026). Kaspr lists none.

Pricing

Compare the two on one task: a work-email lookup through the API. Figures use the monthly list price first, in USD.

At 10,000 work emails a month

Coresignal: 10,000 lookups x 20 credits = 200,000 credits. Contact enrichment starts at Pro, and Pro holds 35,000 credits, which is 1,750 lookups. Growth holds 150,000, or 7,500 lookups. That leaves Premium at $1,500 a month for 1,000,000 credits, or $1,350 a month billed yearly (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).

You use a fifth of Premium, so $0.15 a lookup on the monthly price. Premium credits roll over for 3 months (Coresignal docs, September 2026).

Monthly Premium is self-serve (Get started opens sign-up), while the yearly plan goes through Contact us (Coresignal pricing, October 2026).

Kaspr: B2B email credits are unlimited, but each API call also spends one export credit. 10,000 lookups = 10,000 export credits. Starter allows 250 API requests a day, about 7,500 a month, so Business is the entry point. Business allows 500 a day, about 15,000 a month, and costs $99 per user a month (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).

Business includes 30,000 exports a year. At 10,000 lookups every month you need 120,000, four times that. Kaspr sells export add-on packs (10,000 credits for $308 on the monthly plan), but its pricing page does not say whether they raise the plan's export limit. So there is no public price for a steady 10,000 a month. Ask Kaspr before you plan on it. No billed-yearly price is shown on the page.

On the seat price alone Kaspr is far below Coresignal Premium, for email only. Phone costs more: Kaspr's phone add-on credits run $0.36 down to $0.21 each, and Coresignal has no phone field.

At 1M work emails a month

Coresignal: no public 1M price. 1,000,000 lookups x 20 credits = 20,000,000 credits, and no public plan reaches that. The top plan, Elite, is $5,000 a month for 10,000,000 credits ($4,500 billed yearly), which covers 500,000 lookups (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).

Coresignal lists no plan above Elite, so ask for a quote. Do not multiply a plan rate out and call it a price.

Be careful with the cheaper-looking number. 1,000,000 Base records is 10,000,000 credits, one Elite month at $5,000. Base employee records carry no email, so that is not an email cost.

Kaspr: no public 1M price. Business allows 500 API requests a day and 30,000 exports a year, so 1,000,000 lookups is 33 times the yearly export limit. Enterprise is custom, with unlimited credits and no published price (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).

Kaspr sells export add-on packs of up to 100,000 credits. A 1M month means an Enterprise quote, not a stack of packs.

Where Coresignal wins

  • Job postings. 482M+ postings at 1 credit each. Kaspr lists no job data.
  • Raw profile volume. 907M+ employee records and 70M+ companies, with daily company updates.
  • A real API. Rate limits up to 100+ requests a second, free search by filter, and 10,000 records per Bulk Collect request.
  • MCP. A hosted server with OAuth 2.1 and 5 tools. Kaspr lists none.
  • Datasets. Flat files from $1,000 a month, for teams that load a warehouse.

Where Kaspr wins

  • The LinkedIn workflow. A Chrome extension that finds a number in one click, on top of Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite.
  • Phone numbers. Phone credits on every plan, with a stated 100 a month on Starter. Coresignal lists no phone field.
  • European reach. A claimed 200 million European B2B decision-makers.
  • Cheap at small volume. Starter is $65 per user a month, and Free renews 15 B2B email and 5 phone credits every month.
  • Native integrations. Kaspr lists HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive among its connectors (Kaspr integrations, September 2026). Coresignal sells API access and datasets.

If you need volume through an API

We build LeadOcean, so weigh this section accordingly. LeadOcean holds 693M people and 63M companies, reachable over REST and MCP. Free is 1,000 records, one-off, with no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with no credits and a limit of 100 requests per second per key (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

For bulk work, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request. The app has an Exports page with a filter builder and CSV download (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). Phone numbers sit on 166M people at GET /v2/people/phone. It has no Chrome extension or sequencer. See the Coresignal alternative page for a line-by-line version.
