Prospeo finds emails and mobiles from a name and a company, over REST and MCP. Kaspr finds phones and emails from a LinkedIn profile. They overlap on contact data and split on API headroom, public pricing at volume and Europe.

Verdict

  • Pick Prospeo if you call an API or an agent, start from a name and a company website, and want a price you can work out at volume. It has an MCP server and daily API caps from 2,000 to 500,000.
  • Pick Kaspr if your reps prospect on LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, need phone numbers and sell into Europe. Paid plans include unlimited B2B emails, subject to fair use.
  • Pick neither if you start from an audience (title, country, industry) and need volume at a fixed price. Prospeo needs dozens of seats to reach 1M credits. Kaspr publishes no 1M price. See the LeadOcean section below.

Data and coverage

Prospeo sells verified emails and mobiles. Kaspr sells phones and emails for people you already found on LinkedIn. Neither publishes an independent accuracy test, and we have not tested either.

Prospeo's own numbers differ by page. The API docs cite 200M+ contacts and 30M+ companies. The homepage says 280M leads and companies, 143M verified email addresses, 98% data accuracy and weekly refreshed data (Prospeo API docs, September 2026; Prospeo homepage, September 2026). It charges only for a verified email or a mobile it finds.

Kaspr also gives two figures. The homepage claims 200m+ profiles and 500m+ phone numbers and emails. The help center says over 500 million consumer profiles (Kaspr homepage, September 2026; Kaspr help center, September 2026).

Europe is Kaspr's strongest claim. It says it holds 200 million European B2B decision-makers (Kaspr data page, September 2026). Prospeo makes no regional claim.

Phones are the sharper split. Kaspr leads its pitch with them and sells phone credits on every plan. Prospeo prices a mobile at ten times an email, so a phone-heavy list burns its credits fast.

On plan allowance alone, $99 buys 500 mobiles on Prospeo Growth (5,000 credits at 10 per mobile). The same $99 buys 200 phone credits on Kaspr Business, billed monthly. Run 200 of your own contacts through both before you buy.

API and developer experience

Prospeo has the broader API. Kaspr's public docs cover one job: enrich a LinkedIn profile and check your credit balance. Prospeo splits work across enrich, bulk enrich, search and account endpoints, and takes a name plus a company website.

Prospeo Enrich Person, from its API docs, checked September 2026:

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.prospeo.io/enrich-person" \
  -H "X-KEY: $PROSPEO_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"only_verified_email": true,
       "data": {"first_name": "Jane", "last_name": "Doe", "company_website": "acme.com"}}'

A found email costs 1 credit, and a mobile costs 10 when you add enrich_mobile. A miss costs nothing, and so does re-enriching the same record within 90 days. The minimum match is a name plus a company, a LinkedIn URL, an email or a person_id from search.

Kaspr, from its help center and API docs, checked September 2026:

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.developers.kaspr.io/profile/linkedin" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $KASPR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"name": "Jane Doe", "id": "jane-doe"}'

The id is the part of the LinkedIn URL after /in/. Sales Navigator URLs do not work. Each request spends one credit for the data type fetched, plus one export credit for each successful call. Calls go to v1.0 by default, and v2 needs an accept-version: v2.0 header.

The limits use different units. Prospeo caps by plan per second, minute and day. Kaspr's pricing page caps Business at 250 requests an hour and 500 a day. Its API docs also describe a per-minute limit for each workspace, with the number returned in response headers (Kaspr API docs, September 2026).

On MCP, Prospeo ships a hosted server at mcp.prospeo.io with 8 tools. Bulk enrich takes up to 25 records over MCP and 50 over REST (Prospeo MCP docs, September 2026). We found no Kaspr MCP server on its public pages. That is absence of evidence, so ask Kaspr before you rule it out.

Pricing

Both tools bill per user, and both add credits on top. Prospeo pools plan credits across seats. Kaspr's default pricing view is euros: Starter is EUR 59 and Business EUR 99, which is $65 and $99 in USD billed monthly (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).

At 10,000 records a month

  • Prospeo, work emails: 10,000 credits. One Growth seat at $99 gives 5,000 credits, and a 5,000-credit add-on is $90. That is $99 + $90 = $189 a month. Billed yearly, two Growth seats at $74 give 10,000 credits a month for $148 (Prospeo pricing, September 2026).
  • Prospeo, mobiles: 10,000 mobiles is 100,000 credits. One Growth seat at $99 plus the 100,000-credit add-on at $1,200 gives 105,000 credits for $1,299 a month.
  • Kaspr, work emails through the API: one Business seat at $99 a month. 10,000 calls at 500 a day takes 20 days, and uses 10,000 of the 30,000 yearly exports. Starter allows 250 a day, so 40 days (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).
  • Kaspr, phones: the largest yearly phone pack is 100,000 credits for $20,600, and monthly packs are a tenth of the size at a tenth of the price. So 10,000 phone credits are $2,060, plus the $99 seat, about $2,159 a month.

At 1M records a month

  • Prospeo, emails: no single tier reaches 1M. The cheapest public path on monthly billing is 44 Pro seats at $249 ($10,956 for 660,000 credits) plus the 350,000-credit add-on at $3,500. That is 1,010,000 credits for $14,456 a month. On yearly billing, 3 Pro seats at $2,241 plus the 500,000-credit yearly add-on at $4,500 is $11,223 once, with 1,040,000 credits upfront (Prospeo pricing, September 2026).
  • Prospeo, mobiles: 1M mobiles is 10M credits. No public price.
  • Kaspr: No public 1M price. Business allows 500 API requests a day, about 15,000 a month, and 30,000 exports a year. No public plan reaches 1M. Enterprise is custom (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).

Prospeo publishes nothing above 350,000 add-on credits a month or 500,000 a year. Its help center says support enables extended pricing on request (Prospeo help center, September 2026). A quote above 1M will differ. Do not multiply a Kaspr add-on rate out to 1M and call it a quote.

Two rules change the bill. Prospeo credits expire at the end of each cycle. Kaspr credits roll over on paid plans. Kaspr's page markup also holds annual figures of $49 and $79, but the page shows no annual option and says plans renew monthly, so treat them as reported.

Where Prospeo wins

  • Name and company input. You do not need a LinkedIn URL. Kaspr's API needs one.
  • API headroom. Pro allows 30 enrich requests a second and 500,000 a day. Kaspr's top public plan lists 500 a day.
  • An MCP server. Hosted, with 8 tools. We found none for Kaspr.
  • A price path to 1M. It is expensive, but you can add it up from public numbers.
  • Pay only for hits. A miss costs nothing, and a repeat lookup inside 90 days is free.
  • Cheaper mobiles on plan allowance. $99 buys 500 mobiles, against 200 phone credits on Kaspr.

Where Kaspr wins

  • Phones and Europe. It leads with phone numbers and claims 200 million European B2B decision-makers. Prospeo makes no regional claim.
  • The LinkedIn workflow. A rep opens a profile and clicks. It also runs on Sales Navigator on Starter and Recruiter Lite on Business (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).
  • Unlimited B2B emails on paid plans, subject to fair use, so email is not the credit you ration.
  • Credits that roll over. Prospeo's expire each cycle.
  • Native integrations. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Lemlist, Brevo, Aircall, Ringover and Zapier (Kaspr integrations, September 2026).

If you need volume through an API

Neither tool is built to pull a million records from a database you filter. LeadOcean holds 693M people and 63M companies behind REST and a 12-tool MCP server, with 100 requests per second per key on every plan. Pro is $499 a month flat with no credits and no per-record price, and Free gives 1,000 records one-off with no card. POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request, so 1M rows is 20 requests over two days (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). See LeadOcean pricing.
