People leave Coresignal when the credit meter outgrows the plan. A Base employee or company record costs 10 credits, a multi-source record 20, and a contact enrichment 20 (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). Pro is $499 a month for 35,000 credits and 10 requests per second (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). That is 3,500 Base records. Multi-source employee records carry a professional email and a four-value email status (Coresignal docs, September 2026). The Base employee pages list no email field, and neither dictionary has a phone field. Search preview costs credits, and Bulk Collect stops at 10,000 records a request (Coresignal docs, September 2026).
This page ranks seven Coresignal API alternatives for buyers who pull data in code or through an agent. LeadOcean is first for contact data at a flat price. For a two-column view, see LeadOcean vs Coresignal. If your main use is job postings, read the notes on BlitzAPI and TheirStack.
TL;DR
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Cost at 1M records a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeadOcean | Contact data by API or agent at volume | Free (1,000 records, one-off). Pro $499 a month | $499 a month flat. Fair use applies |
| People Data Labs | Person and company data with job postings and licences | Pro from $98 a month for 350 credits | No public 1M price. Pro is $98 for 350 credits. Above about 100,000 profiles a year it is quote only |
| BlitzAPI | Flat-price people, company and job search | Core $399 a month. Plus $499 adds verified emails | $499 on Plus, inside the 15M monthly fair-use line for accounts opened by September 30, 2026. Later accounts unpublished |
| Crustdata | Live company, people and job data for agents | No public price list | no public dollar price per credit (Crustdata pricing, September 2026) |
| Explorium | Company breadth, events and intent | Lite $29.99 for 500 credits | About $30,000 at $0.015 a credit |
| Bright Data | Raw LinkedIn datasets and scrapers | Datasets from $250 a 100,000 records | Up to $2,500 one-off at $0.0025 a record |
| TheirStack | Job postings and hiring signals | API plans from $49 a month for 1,500 credits | $1,500 a month for 1M job postings |
"1M records" here means 1M person or company records, or 1M job postings for the job tools, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. Coresignal itself costs 10M credits for 1M Base records, which is $5,000 at its Elite rate of $0.0005 a credit (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). Figures are list-price arithmetic. Enterprise quotes are lower, so ask each vendor at your volume.
What we evaluated
- API access: which plan opens it, the endpoints that return people, companies and jobs, and the default rate limit.
- MCP: whether an agent can search and enrich through the server, or only read documentation.
- Price model: flat, credits, per-record or packages, and what 1M records a month costs at list price.
- Data: stated coverage, email and phone fields, job postings and search filters.
- Limits that bite: bulk ceilings, plan gates, expiring credits and fair-use clauses.
We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. We ran no find-rate or accuracy test for this page, so we quote no quality numbers.
1. LeadOcean: best for contact data by API or agent at volume
LeadOcean is one dataset behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. You search with 50 people filters and 34 company filters. Counts are free. Enrichment is POST /v1/people/enrich, phones are GET /v2/people/phone, and exports run up to 50,000 rows per request.
The price does not move with volume. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 5 API keys and 100 requests per second per key. There are no credits and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset, not cut off. More headroom is one email to support.
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/enrich" \
-H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe","reveal_email":true}'The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 12 tools, from search_leads to find_phone and export_leads. Claude, Cursor or your own agent can pull records directly. Every person or company returned counts as one record, and count_leads is free, so you can size an audience before you pull it.
Pros
- Flat $499 a month at any volume, with no credit meter.
- Phone numbers for 166M people, which Coresignal employee records lack.
- Email status on every record, from
verifiedtospam_trap. - Free counts, and a miss on
POST /v1/people/enrichis a free 404. - REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
Cons
- No job postings. Hiring signals need another tool.
- No live profile fetch and no flat-file dataset licence.
- Coresignal lists more employee profiles (907M+) and companies (70M+) (Coresignal, September 2026).
Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need contact data at volume and a fixed bill.
Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).
2. People Data Labs: best for person data, job postings and licences

People Data Labs (PDL) is the closest like-for-like Coresignal rival. It sells person and company data by API, plus annual licences that deliver files to S3, GCP or Azure (PDL docs, September 2026). Its All dataset lists 2.47 billion person profiles, 592 million with an email, and 764 million in the Phone dataset (PDL docs, September 2026).
It also has job postings: 46 million across 116,514 companies (PDL docs, September 2026). That covers part of what Coresignal's jobs API does, at a smaller size. Pricing is per match. One credit buys one person, and a miss costs nothing. Pro starts at $98 a month for 350 credits, or $0.28 each, and PDL says profiles cost about $0.20 to $0.28 by volume. Volume above 100,000 records goes through Enterprise (PDL docs, September 2026).
Enrichment allows 1,000 calls a minute on paid plans, and bulk enrichment takes 100 people a request (PDL docs, September 2026). Person Search defaults to 10 calls a minute (PDL docs, September 2026). We found no official MCP server in PDL's docs. none listed in PDL's docs index (PDL docs, September 2026)
Pros
- Larger stated person and phone datasets than Coresignal's employee API offers.
- Job postings and dataset licences from the same vendor.
- ISO and SOC 2 Type 2 shown on the pricing page.
- A miss on enrichment is not billed.
Cons
- $0.20 to $0.28 a record on self-serve Pro, and no public price at 1M, so volume needs a sales call.
- Contact data is hidden on the Free plan, which gives up to 100 records a month.
- Person Search defaults to 10 calls a minute.
- No official MCP server found, so agents need a wrapper you host.
Best for: teams that license data, need job postings beside people, or need compliance paperwork.
Pricing: Free up to 100 records a month. Pro from $98 a month for 350 credits. Enterprise custom (PDL pricing, September 2026).
3. BlitzAPI: best for flat-price people, company and job search
BlitzAPI sells B2B data as an API on flat monthly plans. Its docs list 550M+ contacts tied to LinkedIn profiles, 65M+ companies and 100M+ job postings (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). It is the one flat-price rival that also covers jobs, which makes it the nearest swap for a Coresignal buyer who wants one bill.
The plan ladder is where it gets fiddly. Core is $399 a month and leaves out emails and phones. Plus is $499 and adds verified work emails. Full is $599 and adds US phone numbers (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). The page lists 50 requests per second and 15,000,000 monthly results for accounts opened by September 30, 2026, against a standard 5 per second. After September 30 the lifetime offer closes to new accounts. The only published standard figure is 5 requests per second per endpoint. Plan prices and monthly volume for later accounts are set by the website or order form at the time of subscription (BlitzAPI pricing, BlitzAPI Terms, section 9.1).
Limits also apply per endpoint (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). The MCP server gives an assistant the API documentation, not the data (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). An agent still has to call the REST API itself.
Pros
- Flat monthly price, with a fair-use line of 15,000,000 results a month. That is the launch-offer limit for accounts opened by September 30, 2026, and limits for later accounts are not published (BlitzAPI Terms, section 9.1).
- Job postings, company and people search under one key.
- A free trial of 1,000 credits with no card.
- Typed Python and TypeScript SDKs (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).
Cons
- Three paid tiers, and phones need the top one.
- Phone numbers are US only.
- The MCP server reads docs. An agent cannot search or enrich through it.
- The fast rate limit depends on when the account opened.
Best for: teams that want one flat-price API for people, companies and job signals and run their own code.
Pricing: Core $399, Plus $499, Full $599 a month (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).
4. Crustdata: best for live company, people and job data in agents

Crustdata sells real-time company and people data through APIs for search, enrichment, jobs, posts and watchers. It lists 1 billion+ people and describes its data as continuously re-verified (Crustdata, September 2026). It is the best fit here for Coresignal buyers who want fresh signals, such as hiring spikes and funding events, more than bulk lists.
Pricing is credit based and the public page shows no dollar price per credit (Crustdata pricing, September 2026). The docs list costs per call. Person search is 0.03 credits per result, person enrichment 1 to 7 credits, and contact enrichment 1 to 5.5 credits (Crustdata docs, September 2026). Purchased credits expire after 12 months (Crustdata docs, September 2026).
Volume is the catch. Standard search and enrich endpoints default to 15 to 30 requests a minute, and higher limits go through support (Crustdata docs, September 2026). The dedicated contact endpoint needs an enterprise plan (Crustdata docs, September 2026). The MCP server at install.crustdata.com/mcp signs in with OAuth or an API key (Crustdata docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Live data and change watchers that a static database lacks.
- Cheap search at 0.03 credits per result, so you narrow before you enrich.
- MCP server that returns company, people and job data.
Cons
- No public price per credit, so you cannot price 1M records from the site.
- Low default rate limits on standard endpoints.
- Contact enrichment sits behind an enterprise plan.
Best for: AI SDR and signal workflows that need fresh data more than raw volume.
Pricing: Credit based, with no public price list. Per-call credit costs are in the docs (Crustdata docs, September 2026).
5. Explorium: best for company breadth, events and intent
Explorium sells business and prospect data through AgentSource, an API and MCP server on prepaid credits. It claims 767M+ professional profiles and 146M+ business entities (Explorium, September 2026). It also tracks 15+ event categories, with enrollments and webhooks (Explorium docs, September 2026). That is closer to Coresignal's signal side than a plain lookup API.
Credits are the meter. A contact lookup costs 2 credits for email only and 5 for phone or both (Explorium docs, September 2026). Packages run from Lite at $29.99 for 500 credits to Scale at $7,499.99 for 500,000, which is $0.015 a credit. Credits last 12 months and packages are non-refundable (Explorium pricing, September 2026).
The default limit is 200 queries a minute per key, and each row in a bulk request counts as a query (Explorium docs, September 2026). At that pace a 1M-row job takes about 3.5 days. The MCP server has 11 tools and uses an API key (Explorium MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Events, intent filters and 17 business enrichments beside people data.
- MCP server that returns records.
- A free trial of 100 credits for 90 days.
Cons
- Credit packs expire after 12 months and are non-refundable.
- 200 queries a minute by default, counted per bulk row.
- Three email statuses only: valid, invalid and catch-all.
Best for: teams that want company data, events and intent in one vendor and can live with credits.
Pricing: Lite $29.99, Starter $149.99, Growth $749.99, Scale $7,499.99 as one-off packages. Enterprise custom (Explorium pricing, September 2026).
6. Bright Data: best for raw LinkedIn datasets and scrapers
Bright Data is a web data company first, with ready-made LinkedIn datasets that compete with Coresignal's. Its LinkedIn people dataset lists 672.4M+ profiles and its company dataset 56M+ companies (Bright Data, September 2026). Datasets arrive as JSON, NDJSON, CSV or Parquet, and deliver to Snowflake, S3, Google Cloud, Azure or SFTP.
Pricing is per record. Datasets start at $250 for 100,000 records, up to $0.0025 a record, with refresh subscriptions that save 25% to 80% (Bright Data pricing, September 2026). For live fetches there is a LinkedIn scraper API with 5,000 free records a month (Bright Data, September 2026). A Jobs Data API covers postings across Indeed, LinkedIn and Glassdoor (Bright Data, September 2026). Scraper APIs start from $0.75 per 1,000 records, and Bright Data bills only for records it delivers (Bright Data, October 2026).
The MCP server is free and gives an agent web search, crawl and extraction (Bright Data docs, September 2026). It is a web data tool, not a people database you query by filter. Bright Data lists ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type II.
Pros
- Cheap per record at the list ceiling, from $0.0025.
- LinkedIn people, company and job data in one place.
- Files delivered to your warehouse, with refresh discounts.
- A free tier of 5,000 scraper records a month, no card.
Cons
- Datasets have a $250 minimum order and no flat monthly price.
- The MCP server fetches web pages. It does not search people by filter.
- Live scraper price per 1K records did not render on its pricing page.
Best for: data teams that want raw LinkedIn profile, company and job files in their own warehouse.
Pricing: Datasets from $250 for 100,000 records, up to $0.0025 a record. Scraper API has a 5,000 record free tier (Bright Data pricing, September 2026).
7. TheirStack: best for job postings and hiring signals
TheirStack is the pick if you bought Coresignal for job postings and nothing else. It sells job postings, company firmographics and technology data by app, API, webhook and MCP. It has no people or contact records that we found, so it pairs with a contact source.
API credits are the meter. A job returned costs 1 credit, a company 3, and a full technographics lookup 3 (TheirStack docs, September 2026). Plans run from 1,500 credits at $49 a month to 5,000,000 at $5,500 a month, and the 1,000,000 tier is $1,500 (TheirStack pricing, September 2026). Paid credits roll over for 12 months.
Rate limits are low for volume. Paid accounts get 4 requests per second, and free accounts 10 a minute and 400 a day (TheirStack docs, September 2026). The MCP server at api.theirstack.com/mcp signs in with OAuth or an API key (TheirStack docs, September 2026).
Pros
- A job costs 1 credit, and 1M jobs is $1,500 on the listed tier.
- Webhooks push new and closed jobs.
- MCP server with job, company and technology tools.
- Credits roll over for 12 months.
Cons
- No people or contact data. It is a jobs and company source.
- 4 requests per second on paid accounts.
- Above 5M API credits you need a custom quote.
Best for: hiring-signal and job-market work that needs postings, not profiles.
Pricing: Free gives 200 API credits a month. Paid API plans run from $49 a month for 1,500 credits (TheirStack pricing, September 2026).

Sources are linked in each tool section, all checked in September 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm on the pricing page before you buy. The 1M column is list-price arithmetic. PDL publishes no 1M price. Explorium uses email-only lookups at the Scale rate. Bright Data uses $0.0025 a record. TheirStack counts job postings, not people.

Keep Coresignal if you need its 482M+ postings or live profile fetches. Otherwise start on the free plan and compare the same lookups.
FAQ
Why do teams leave Coresignal?
Cost and fit. Every record costs 10 to 20 credits, and Pro buys 35,000 credits for $499 (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). Employee records have no phone numbers. Teams that pull contacts in volume often move to a flat-price API.
What is the cheapest Coresignal alternative at volume?
For people data, LeadOcean and BlitzAPI Plus are cheapest at $499 a month on list price, and the BlitzAPI figure applies to accounts opened by September 30, 2026. Bright Data datasets come to about $2,500 one-off for 1M records. Explorium costs about $30,000 at list. PDL publishes no 1M price, and Enterprise quotes narrow the gap.
What does Coresignal cost at 1M records a month?
Coresignal does not list a price for 1M records. A Base record is 10 credits, so 1M is 10M credits, about $5,000 at the Elite rate of $0.0005 a credit. Multi-source records are 20 credits each (Coresignal docs, September 2026).
Which Coresignal alternative has job postings?
BlitzAPI lists 100M+ job postings, PDL 46 million, and TheirStack sells postings by API. Bright Data has a Jobs Data API and Crustdata has job search. LeadOcean has no job postings. Coresignal lists 482M+ (Coresignal, September 2026).
Which Coresignal alternative has an MCP server that returns data?
LeadOcean, Crustdata, Explorium and TheirStack do. BlitzAPI's server reads documentation only, and Bright Data's fetches web pages. We found no official PDL server. Compare the tools each one exposes before you choose.
Do I need a credit card to try LeadOcean?
No. The free plan needs a work email and no card. It gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with the same API and MCP server as Pro. See pricing.
