Coresignal and Anymail Finder both put B2B contact data behind an API, but they do different jobs. Coresignal is a data source: profiles, companies and job postings, sold by the credit. Anymail Finder is an email finder: you send a name and a domain, and it verifies an address live.

Verdict

  • Pick Coresignal if you need profile data, company data, job postings or flat-file datasets, and you can search by filter. It lists 907M+ employee records and 482M+ job postings.
  • Pick Anymail Finder if you already have a list of names and domains and want a verified email for each, paid per result. At 10,000 emails it costs $199 a month against $1,500 for Coresignal.
  • Pick neither if you need to build the list, get phone numbers, or run volume at a fixed price. Anymail Finder has no search and no phone endpoint. Coresignal has no phone field and no public 1M price. LeadOcean is one option: Pro is $499 a month, flat.

Data and coverage

Coresignal is a dataset. Anymail Finder is a lookup service. They overlap on one task: finding a work email for a named person.

Coresignal lists 907M+ employee records, 70M+ company records and 482M+ job postings, with company data delivered daily (Coresignal, September 2026). Most of that is profile data. Professional email and a four-level status (verified, matched_email, matched_pattern, guessed_common_pattern) sit on the Multi-source Employee API. The Base Employee API pages list no email field (Coresignal data dictionary, September 2026).

Anymail Finder publishes no record count. It says it verifies every address live against the recipient's mail server and finds addresses on catch-all domains that other tools flag as risky (Anymail Finder, September 2026). The 86.4% find rate and 98.9% valid rate come from its own benchmark, so test your list before you trust them.

Neither tool has a phone number. Coresignal's employee dictionaries list no phone field, and Anymail Finder's API docs list no phone endpoint. A dial list needs a third source.

Coresignal's MCP email lookup excludes employees in the EEA and UK (Coresignal MCP docs, September 2026). If your list is European, run a sample first.

API and developer experience

Both are REST APIs with a key in a header. The shape is different. Coresignal searches, returns IDs, then bills when you collect. Anymail Finder takes a name and a domain and bills only when it finds a valid email.

Coresignal sends the key in an apikey header (Coresignal docs, September 2026). The collect call takes a shorthand name from a profile URL and costs 20 credits on the multi-source API (Coresignal docs, September 2026).

bash
curl -X GET \
  "https://api.coresignal.com/cdapi/v2/employee_multi_source/collect/jane-doe" \
  -H "accept: application/json" \
  -H "apikey: $CORESIGNAL_API_KEY"

Search by filter or Elasticsearch DSL is free and returns IDs. A search preview costs 10 to 20 credits a call (Coresignal docs, September 2026).

Anymail Finder sends the key in an Authorization header. The find-person call is POST /v5.1/find-email/person. It costs 1 credit when a valid email is found, and nothing when the result is risky, blacklisted or not found (Anymail Finder docs, September 2026).

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.anymailfinder.com/v5.1/find-email/person" \
  -H "Authorization: $ANYMAILFINDER_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"domain": "acme.com", "full_name": "Jane Doe"}'

The docs recommend a 180-second timeout, because the search runs in real time against the mail server. Repeating a search within 30 days is free. A webhook header returns the result later instead.

Both have an official MCP server. Coresignal's signs in with OAuth 2.1 and has 5 tools. entity_search costs 20 credits a call. The server's own tool text bills an email lookup at 20 credits when found, matching the 20-credit contact enrichment price, while the MCP docs page still says 10. We use 20 (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).

Anymail Finder's server has 5 actions: find a person's email, find a decision maker, find company emails, verify an email, and check your account. Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT sign in through the browser with no key. It does not cover bulk files or webhooks (Anymail Finder MCP page, September 2026).

Rate limits favour Anymail Finder. Coresignal ties speed to the plan: 5 requests a second on Starter, 10 on Pro, 50 on Premium (Coresignal rate limits, September 2026). Anymail Finder states none.

For bulk, Anymail Finder takes up to 100,000 rows in one job and charges only when you download the results. Coresignal's Bulk Collect stops at 10,000 records per request.

Pricing

Coresignal sells monthly plans that hold a credit balance. Anymail Finder sells credit plans and one-time packs. To compare them, price both as work-email lookups: 20 credits on Coresignal, 1 on Anymail Finder. All figures are USD list prices.

At 10,000 records a month

Anymail Finder: 10,000 found emails is 10,000 credits. The 10,000-credit plan is $199 a month, or $0.020 an email (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). On the yearly plan, 120,000 credits cost $1,596, which is $133 a month. You pay only for emails it finds.

Coresignal: 10,000 lookups x 20 credits = 200,000 credits. Contact enrichment starts at Pro, and Growth stops at 150,000 credits. That leaves Premium: $1,500 a month for 1,000,000 credits, or $1,350 a month billed yearly ($16,200). You use a fifth of it, so $0.15 a lookup on the monthly price (Coresignal pricing, September 2026).

The pricing page flags Premium, Scale and Elite as contact-sales while still showing Get started buttons, so confirm you can buy Premium without a sales call.

Anymail Finder is about 7.5 times cheaper at this volume: $1,500 / $199. The unit differs, though. A Coresignal lookup returns an email from a multi-source record that also carries experience and company fields. An Anymail Finder credit returns one verified email.

At 1M records a month

Anymail Finder: 1,000,000 credits x $0.00499 = $4,990. That is the one-time 1M pack, valid 12 months, at $0.0050 a credit. The biggest monthly plan is 100,000 credits for $799, so a 1M month means buying the pack. Anymail Finder lists nothing above 1M and offers volume pricing on request (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).

Coresignal: no public 1M price. 1,000,000 lookups x 20 credits = 20,000,000 credits, and no public plan reaches that. The top plan, Elite, is $5,000 a month for 10,000,000 credits, which covers 500,000 lookups.

Coresignal does not document buying two Elite plans at once, so the other 500,000 lookups have no public price (Coresignal pricing, September 2026). Ask for a quote.

Credits and plans differ in one more way. Anymail Finder charges for found emails only, so every miss lowers the bill. Coresignal bills per successful call, and its MCP server says misses are free. The REST contact enrichment pages we read do not say whether a miss is charged, so plan on paying for every call.

Where Coresignal wins

  • Data beyond email. Profiles, companies and 482M+ job postings at 1 credit each. It also sells historical headcount and a Real-time Employee API.
  • Search. Filter and Elasticsearch DSL search is free, so you build a list before you pay for records. Anymail Finder cannot search.
  • Raw size. 907M+ employee records and 70M+ companies, with daily company updates.
  • A public price ladder. Eight plans from $49 to $5,000 a month, and flat-file datasets from $1,000 a month.

Where Anymail Finder wins

  • Verified email per dollar. $0.020 an email at 10,000 and $0.0050 at 1M, against $0.15 for a Coresignal lookup at 10,000.
  • Live verification. Every address is checked at lookup time, and a verified email that bounces can be reported for a credit back after review.
  • Pay per result. Misses cost nothing, repeats within 30 days are free, and unused subscription credits roll over while you stay subscribed.
  • Simple limits. No stated rate limit, unlimited team members, and 100,000 rows in one bulk job.

If you need volume through an API

We build LeadOcean, so weigh this section accordingly. LeadOcean holds 693M people and 63M companies, with a phone number on 166M of them, reachable over REST and MCP. Free is 1,000 records, one-off, with no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with no credits and no per-record price, and a limit of 100 requests per second per key (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

For bulk work, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request, so 1M rows is 20 requests over two days. The app also has an Exports page with a filter builder, a price preview and CSV download (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). LeadOcean has no job-posting data and does not verify an address live at lookup time. See the Coresignal alternative page or the Coresignal alternatives roundup for a line-by-line version.
