Anymail Finder wins at small volume when you already have names and domains. BlitzAPI wins when you need to search a database of people, companies, jobs and phones. They do different jobs. Anymail Finder finds one verified email per lookup, and BlitzAPI holds people, companies, jobs and phones you can query.

All figures were checked in September 2026, each with its source link. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the page says so.

Verdict

  • Pick BlitzAPI if you need to search for people and companies you do not have yet, or want US phones and job postings. Plus lists at $499 a month for verified work emails, with no per-email charge (BlitzAPI pricing, October 2026). Its 50 requests a second and 15M results a month were a launch offer that closed on September 30, 2026.
  • Pick Anymail Finder if you already hold a list of names and company domains and want each address checked live. You pay one credit only when a valid email is found, and there is a bounce credit-back (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). Plans start at $29 a month.
  • Pick neither if you want one flat plan with emails and phones, a CSV export and an MCP server that returns records. LeadOcean covers that. It does not verify live at lookup time and has no job posting data.

Data and coverage

BlitzAPI sells a database and Anymail Finder sells a live lookup. BlitzAPI lists 550M+ profiles, 65M+ companies, 65M+ verified work emails and 45M+ US phone numbers (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). Anymail Finder publishes no database size, because it does not rely on a stored list.

Anymail Finder says it verifies each address against the recipient's mail server at the moment you ask (Anymail Finder, September 2026). It also says it confirms catch-all addresses that other tools mark risky. That is a vendor claim, and so is its 86.4% find rate. Test it on your own list before you trust either number.

BlitzAPI only returns an email it holds and has proven. An address it cannot prove comes back not found (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). A new hire may not be in the database yet.

Phones settle the question for some buyers. BlitzAPI has 45M+ US numbers on the $599 Full plan and nothing outside the US. Anymail Finder has no phone lookup at all.

BlitzAPI also has 100M+ job postings, which Anymail Finder does not touch. If your trigger is "this company is hiring", only one of these tools has the data.

API and developer experience

Both APIs are public and easy to read before you pay. The difference is the input. Anymail Finder takes a name plus a domain, or a LinkedIn URL. BlitzAPI's email lookup takes a LinkedIn URL only, so you usually search first and then enrich (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

This is Anymail Finder's find-person request from its docs, with a placeholder person:

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.anymailfinder.com/v5.1/find-email/person" \
  -H "Authorization: $ANYMAILFINDER_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"domain":"acme.com","full_name":"Jane Doe"}'

It returns email_status: valid, risky, not_found or blacklisted. It charges 1 credit only on a valid hit (Anymail Finder docs, September 2026). From 5 October 2026 a search that would have returned a risky email returns not_found instead. Results can be posted to a webhook, and responses can take a while, so its docs recommend a 180 second timeout.

This is BlitzAPI's work email request from its docs, with a placeholder profile:

bash
curl -X POST "https://api.blitz-api.ai/v2/enrichment/email" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "x-api-key: $BLITZAPI_API_KEY" \
  -d '{"person_linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe"}'

It returns found, the email and a fair_usage block with your remaining volume (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). A lookup that finds nothing counts nothing against your volume.

Rate limits cut both ways. Anymail Finder states no rate limits. BlitzAPI's standard rate is 5 requests per second per endpoint. Accounts opened by September 30, 2026 keep 50 (BlitzAPI pricing, October 2026).

For agents, Anymail Finder's MCP server does real work. Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT sign in through a browser window and can find and verify emails (Anymail Finder MCP page, September 2026). BlitzAPI's MCP server only answers questions about its docs (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Pricing

Anymail Finder bills per email found and BlitzAPI bills a flat monthly plan. Prices below use the monthly list first, with the billed-yearly figure after it where one exists. Both assume every lookup finds an email, which is the worst case for Anymail Finder.

At 10,000 records a month. Anymail Finder's 10,000-credit plan is $199 a month (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). Billed yearly, 120,000 credits cost $1,596, which is $1,596 / 12 = $133 a month. A one-time 10,000 pack is $399. Misses are free, so a 70% find rate uses only 7,000 credits.

BlitzAPI at 10,000 is Plus, listed at $499 a month for verified work emails. No billed-yearly figure is published (BlitzAPI pricing, October 2026). At 10,000 emails, Anymail Finder is $499 - $199 = $300 a month cheaper on the monthly plan.

The crossover. Anymail Finder's 50,000-credit plan is also $499 a month, so the two cost the same at 50,000 emails. Above that, Anymail Finder's 100,000-credit plan is $799. Whether BlitzAPI Plus stays at $499 above 50,000 depends on a fair use line that BlitzAPI has not published for new accounts. Below 50,000, Anymail Finder is cheaper.

At 1M records a month. For a new account, BlitzAPI has no public 1M price. The 15,000,000 results a month fair use line covers only accounts opened by September 30, 2026. For those accounts, one Plus plan covers 1M: $499 x 1 month = $499 (BlitzAPI pricing, October 2026). Time is the other cost. At the standard 5 per second, 1,000,000 lookups is 200,000 seconds, about 2.3 days. At the offer rate of 50 it is 20,000 seconds, about 5.6 hours.

Anymail Finder's biggest monthly plan is 100,000 credits at $799, so 1M in a month means a pack. The 1,000,000-credit pack is $4,990, which is 1,000,000 x $0.00499 (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). That is about 10 times the $499 an offer account pays, and the pack is a one-time buy valid for 12 months. Its bulk docs give an average of 1,000 rows per 5 minutes (Anymail Finder bulk docs, September 2026). Run 1M rows one job after another and that is 1,000 x 5 = 5,000 minutes, about 3.5 days.

One caution on BlitzAPI. Its terms fix the $399, $499 and $599 fees, 50 requests per second and the 15,000,000 line only for accounts opened by September 30, 2026 (BlitzAPI Terms, September 2026). On October 2, 2026 the pricing page still listed the same three prices beside the closed offer. It published no fair use volume for later accounts, and the standard rate is 5 requests per second. Where BlitzAPI wins

  • Search. It finds people and companies you did not already have, and it has job postings. Anymail Finder needs your list first.
  • Flat price. Plus lists at $499 a month with no per-email charge. For accounts opened by September 30, 2026, that covers 1M emails a month, against Anymail Finder's $4,990 pack.
  • Phones. 45M+ US numbers on the Full plan. Anymail Finder has none.
  • Published size. 550M+ profiles and 65M+ verified work emails give you a number to judge.

BlitzAPI's weak points are US-only phones, no documented bulk export, no SLA on Core, Plus or Full (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026) and an MCP server that reads docs only.

Where Anymail Finder wins

  • Live verification. Each address is checked at lookup time, and a verified email that bounces can be reported for a credit back (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).
  • Low volume. Under about 50,000 emails a month it costs less, and you pay nothing on a miss.
  • Name plus domain input. You do not need a LinkedIn URL for every person.
  • Bulk files and an MCP that works. One bulk job takes 100,000 rows, and the MCP server finds and verifies emails for an agent.

Anymail Finder's weak points are no search across a database, no phones and no firmographics. A pack above 1M credits is not listed. Its pricing page offers volume pricing on request.

If you need volume through an API

LeadOcean is a third option if neither above fits. The Free plan gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, and no credits or per-record price (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. The same REST API and a hosted MCP server with 12 tools run on every plan. The MCP server searches, enriches and exports records (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026).

For bulk pulls, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request. The app has an Exports page with a filter builder and CSV download (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). 1M rows is 20 requests over two days. LeadOcean returns a stored email status on each record and does not verify live, so keep Anymail Finder if that is the whole job. See pricing for the detail.

FAQ

Is BlitzAPI cheaper than Anymail Finder?

Below 50,000 emails a month, no. At 10,000 emails Anymail Finder is $199 against $499 for BlitzAPI Plus, and Anymail Finder's $499 plan buys 50,000 credits (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). Above that, BlitzAPI is cheaper only if its fair use line covers your volume, and that line is not published for accounts opened after September 30, 2026.

Does Anymail Finder have an MCP server?

Yes, at https://api.anymailfinder.com/mcp. It has five actions and signs in through a browser window, with no API key needed in Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT (Anymail Finder MCP page, September 2026). BlitzAPI's MCP server only searches its documentation.

Can either tool find phone numbers?

Only BlitzAPI. It lists 45M+ US numbers on the $599 Full plan, and phone enrichment is US only (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). Anymail Finder has no phone endpoint in its API docs.

Which one finds new contacts?

BlitzAPI does. It searches a database by company and person. Anymail Finder starts from a name and company or a LinkedIn URL you already hold, and returns the email (Anymail Finder docs, September 2026).

Does Anymail Finder charge for emails it cannot find?

No. It charges 1 credit only when a valid email is found. Risky, blacklisted and not-found results are free, and repeating a search within 30 days is free (Anymail Finder docs, September 2026).

What happens to BlitzAPI pricing after September 30, 2026?

The lifetime offer closed to new accounts. BlitzAPI has not published a fair use volume for later accounts, and the standard limit is 5 requests per second (BlitzAPI Terms, September 2026). Check the pricing page on the day you sign up.
