Anymail Finder wins if you need a verified work email from an open API and want to pay only for hits. Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) wins if your records already live in HubSpot and you want them filled in. At 1M records, Anymail Finder lists $4,990 and Clearbit has no public price.
Verdict
- Pick Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) if your contacts and companies sit in HubSpot and you want fields filled in automatically, with firmographics such as industry codes and parent companies (Clearbit, October 2026).
- Pick Anymail Finder if you need a verified work email from a name and a company, through a public API or MCP server, and want to pay one credit per valid email found (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).
- Pick neither if you need to search a database for new people, get phone numbers, or run volume at a fixed bill. Neither tool searches by filter. LeadOcean is one option, covered below.

Anymail Finder prices are USD list prices from the pricing page USD view, checked in September 2026. The page shows Canadian dollars to visitors in Canada. Clearbit and HubSpot figures were checked in October 2026. HubSpot renames and reprices often, so confirm before you buy.
Data and coverage
Clearbit fills in records you hold. Anymail Finder finds one fact about a person: a verified work email. Neither is a searchable database, and that matters more than any count. You bring the list to both.
HubSpot's docs say contact enrichment uses a first name, last name and work email. Company enrichment uses a domain (HubSpot docs, October 2026). The enrichable contact fields include job title, seniority, role, location and LinkedIn URL. Company fields include industry, employee range, revenue range, web technologies and a phone number (HubSpot docs, October 2026).
Clearbit's homepage lists 6-digit NAICS, GICS and SIC codes, parent and subsidiary mapping, and normalised role and seniority (Clearbit, October 2026). That is richer company data than an email finder holds. It publishes no coverage figure to check it against.
Anymail Finder says it verifies each address live and charges only for safe-to-send results (Anymail Finder, October 2026). It cites a 14-tool benchmark of 5,000 B2B contacts in which it found verified emails for 86.4%, with 98.9% confirmed valid by outside verifiers. That is a vendor claim from its own benchmark, so run your own sample. It returns emails and nothing else about the company, and it has no phone lookup.
API and developer experience
Anymail Finder has a public API you can read before you sign up. Clearbit has an API too, but its docs redirect to a sign-in page (Clearbit docs, October 2026). You cannot check a request before you commit.
Anymail Finder, find a person's email by name and domain. The key goes in the Authorization header (Anymail Finder docs, October 2026). Placeholders stand in for a real person.
curl -X POST "https://api.anymailfinder.com/v5.1/find-email/person" \
-H "Authorization: $ANYMAIL_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"domain": "acme.com", "full_name": "Jane Doe"}'It returns email, email_status and credits_charged. One credit is charged only when the email is valid. From 5 October 2026 a search that would have returned a risky email returns not_found instead (Anymail Finder docs, October 2026). Add an x-webhook-url header and the result is posted to you instead of waiting on the call. The docs recommend a 180-second timeout, because checks run in real time.
Clearbit, no public request. We show no sample, because its API docs sit behind a sign-in. Sign-ups since December 4, 2023 need a HubSpot account (Clearbit release notes, October 2026). Inside HubSpot, enrichment is a settings switch. A Super Admin turns on automatic enrichment, and it is off by default (HubSpot docs, October 2026).
On rate limits, Anymail Finder says "No Rate Limits" and no daily caps (Anymail Finder docs, October 2026). Clearbit publishes none.
On MCP, Anymail Finder's server has five actions: find a person's email, find a decision maker, find company emails, verify an email and check your account. Assistants that support sign-in open a browser window to approve it, with no key to paste (Anymail Finder MCP, September 2026). It does not cover bulk files. HubSpot's remote MCP server reads and writes CRM records such as contacts and deals. We found no MCP server for enrichment itself (HubSpot MCP, October 2026).
Pricing
Anymail Finder sells credits. Clearbit sells nothing on its own, because enrichment sits inside a HubSpot plan. Anymail Finder figures use the monthly list price first, with the billed-yearly price after it.
At 10,000 work emails a month
- Anymail Finder: 10,000 credits at 1 credit per valid email. The 10,000-credit plan is $199 a month. Billed yearly, the 120,000-credit plan is $1,596 a year, or $133 a month ($1,596 / 12) (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). A one-time pack of 10,000 is $399.
- Clearbit: no per-record price. You pay the HubSpot plan, and data enrichment does not consume HubSpot Credits (HubSpot docs, October 2026). From an index page you enrich 100 records at a time, so 10,000 is 100 batches. Imports, segments and workflows take larger jobs (HubSpot docs, October 2026).
At 10,000 only Anymail Finder has a number. If your HubSpot plan already includes enrichment, Clearbit adds no line item. If it does not, the CRM is the cost.
At 1M work emails
- Anymail Finder: 1,000,000 credits x $0.00499 = $4,990. That is the public one-time pack, valid 12 months (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026). The biggest monthly plan is 100,000 credits for $799, so 1M in one month means the pack. Anymail Finder lists nothing above 1M and offers volume pricing on request.
- Clearbit: No public 1M price. HubSpot publishes no per-record rate to multiply and no volume ceiling to size against.
Credits are charged only on valid emails. A list where half the lookups miss costs half as many credits, so $4,990 buys 1M found emails, not 1M lookups. Searches that find nothing are free, and repeats within 30 days are free (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).
Where Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) wins
- Enrichment inside HubSpot. Automatic enrichment fills new records without anyone writing code.
- Richer company data: 6-digit NAICS, GICS and SIC codes and parent and subsidiary mapping (Clearbit, October 2026).
- Form shortening, so a form shows only the fields it cannot enrich (HubSpot docs, October 2026).
- No per-record price to track when you already own a HubSpot plan.
Where Anymail Finder wins
- A price you can read. Plans from $29 a month, packs to $4,990 for 1M credits.
- An open API, an OpenAPI spec and an MCP server, none behind a CRM account.
- Pay only for valid emails. Misses are free, and a verified email that bounces can be reported for a credit back after review (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).
- Bulk jobs of up to 100,000 rows and no stated rate limit.
If you need volume through an API
LeadOcean is a data API and MCP server with no seats, no credits and no CRM in front of it. Pro costs $499 a month flat, with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups. Free gives 1,000 records one-off with no card. Both plans get the same REST API and 12-tool MCP server, and POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). It searches 693M people and 63M companies by filter, which neither tool above does. Read the Clearbit alternative and pricing.
FAQ
Is Clearbit or Anymail Finder better for finding emails?
Anymail Finder. It takes a name and a company and returns a verified work email, and you pay only when it finds one. Clearbit enrichment starts from a business email you already hold and fills in other fields (HubSpot docs, October 2026).
Is Clearbit still a separate product?
Partly. Clearbit's site says it has joined HubSpot, and new sign-ups need a HubSpot account (Clearbit release notes, October 2026). HubSpot's docs call the feature data enrichment and list it inside its hubs.
Which is cheaper, Clearbit or Anymail Finder?
At 10,000 emails a month Anymail Finder is $199 monthly or $133 a month billed yearly. Clearbit has no standalone price, only the HubSpot plan, and no public 1M price. If HubSpot is already paid for, Clearbit adds little. If not, Anymail Finder is the clearer number.
Do both have an API and an MCP server?
Anymail Finder has a public API and an MCP server at api.anymailfinder.com/mcp. Clearbit documents an API behind a sign-in, and we found no enrichment MCP server. HubSpot's MCP server covers CRM records.
Does either one return phone numbers?
Not in any way we can confirm. Anymail Finder has no phone endpoint (API docs, October 2026). Clearbit publishes no phone coverage, and HubSpot's default contact list has no phone field. For phones by API, see GET /v2/people/phone on LeadOcean.
How do they compare with other email finders?
Anymail Finder is the cheaper and more open of the two for email lookups. For head-to-heads with other finders, see LeadMagic vs Anymail Finder, FullEnrich vs Anymail Finder and Crustdata vs Anymail Finder.
