BlitzAPI has no credits on paid plans. It sells three flat monthly plans: Core at $399, Plus at $499 and Full at $599. Most teams that want emails will land on Plus. Full adds US phone numbers. One million records a month costs the plan price, because every plan covers up to 15M results a month on accounts opened by September 30, 2026 (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).

The catch is what each plan leaves out. Core has no emails. Plus has no phones. Anything above 15M results a month is not priced publicly, and prices for accounts opened after September 30, 2026 are not published.

Sources: BlitzAPI pricing page and Plans & Pricing docs, checked September 2026. The pricing page names the plans Core, Plus and Full. The docs call the same tiers Leads, Email and Phone.

Billing is monthly and you can cancel any time. There is no per-user fee, so the whole team shares one workspace.

The pricing page shows a "lifetime" offer. Accounts opened by September 30, 2026 keep 50 requests per second and a fair-use limit of 15M results a month for as long as the subscription stays active. Standard accounts run at 5 requests per second (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). The offer lapses on cancellation and does not return if you re-subscribe (BlitzAPI Terms, section 10.7).

The prices on this page are the launch-offer prices. BlitzAPI has not published plan prices or a monthly volume for accounts opened after September 30, 2026. The Terms say later plans carry the limits stated on the website or order form at signup (BlitzAPI Terms, section 9.1). As of October 2026 the pricing page still shows the launch offer and prints no later prices or volume. The only later figure is the standard 5 requests per second, so check the pricing page before you sign up.

What a credit buys

A credit only exists on the free trial. One result returned costs one credit, and a result can be a company, a person, an email, a phone or a job posting (BlitzAPI Terms, September 2026). On paid plans the same results cost nothing extra but still count toward the 15M results a month fair-use limit on accounts opened by September 30, 2026.

Hidden costs

  • Email and phone are separate tiers. Going from Core to Plus adds $100 a month. Going to Full adds another $100. Phones are US only, at 45M+ numbers on the pricing page.
  • A hard monthly cap. The launch-offer limit is 15M results a month. Past it, BlitzAPI "may throttle or automatically block further calls" until the next monthly cycle (Terms 9.3, September 2026). Limits for accounts opened later are not published. The docs add that you should contact support before scaling up.
  • Rate limits apply per endpoint. The limit depends on your plan and each endpoint is metered on its own. Read your value from max_requests_per_seconds rather than hard-coding it (rate limit docs, September 2026).
  • The 50 RPS deal has a deadline. After September 30, 2026 a new account is described as running at 5 requests per second. The Terms list 50 requests per second for all three plans, so confirm your limit in writing.
  • No resale. The Terms prohibit reselling or redistributing the data. The pricing page says client work is allowed. Read both before you build a data product on it.
  • The MCP server serves docs, not data. It gives an AI assistant live access to the API documentation (MCP docs, September 2026). Your agent still calls the API for records.
  • A 402 means the account limit is reached. The error text is "Account limit reached. Upgrade your plan." (error docs, September 2026).

Worked examples

All BlitzAPI figures below come from the plan prices above. "Records" means results returned.

10,000 records a month. Core is $399, Plus is $499 and Full is $599. At Plus, that is $499 / 10,000 = $0.0499 a record. The flat fee is large for this volume. A per-record tool can be cheaper here.

1,000,000 records a month. The plan price does not change on an account opened by September 30, 2026. Plus costs $499 / 1,000,000 = $0.000499 a record. Full costs $0.000599 a record. At 50 requests per second (accounts opened by September 30, 2026), one million single-result requests take 20,000 seconds, about 5.6 hours. At 5 requests per second the same job takes 200,000 seconds, about 2.3 days.

25,000,000 records a month. This is above the 15M results a month limit on accounts opened by September 30, 2026. 25M / 15M is 1.67, so one plan does not cover it. BlitzAPI publishes no price above 15,000,000 results a month. Its FAQ says a person contacts you when usage stays past the threshold, and its Terms allow throttling unless a higher allowance is agreed (BlitzAPI pricing, BlitzAPI Terms, section 9.3). Blitz Embedded starts at $2,000 a month on an annual agreement, but the page does not say it covers this volume.

The same volume on LeadOcean.

BlitzAPI figures are launch-offer prices for accounts opened by September 30, 2026. LeadOcean Pro is $499 a month with no credits, no per-record price and no overage invoice. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute until the reset rather than cut off. For more headroom you email support. Emails and phones sit in the same plan, with no separate tier.

Is it worth it

Teams that need work emails by API. Plus at $499 is fair value if you pull a large volume and do not need phones. It is flat, so cost per record falls as you pull more.

Teams that need US mobile numbers. Full at $599 is the only BlitzAPI tier with phones. Coverage is US only, so check your target regions first.

Small or bursty workloads. Under a few thousand records a month, $399 to $599 is a lot. The free 1,000 credits are a one-off test, not a monthly allowance.

Agencies and data resellers. Read the Terms on redistribution before you commit. Client work and resale are not the same thing in the documents.

Buyers above 15M results. No public price exists above 15M results a month for launch-offer accounts, and nothing is published for accounts opened after September 30, 2026. You need a quote before you plan around it.

Alternatives with a different price model

LeadOcean: flat, no credits. Free gives 1,000 records one-off with no card. Pro is $499 a month flat with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 100 requests per second and 5 API keys. The MCP server has 12 tools and returns data, not only docs. See /alternatives/blitzapi and /pricing.

Apollo: credits per user. Apollo grants credits upfront each billing cycle, pooled across the team. Its API is on every plan, including Free (Apollo pricing, September 2026). Basic is $49, Professional $79 and Organization $119 per seat a month, billed annually.

People Data Labs: pay per record. Pro is $98 a month for 350 person credits, about $0.20 to $0.28 a profile (PDL pricing, September 2026). There is no public 1M price. Above about 100,000 profiles a year PDL sells by quote only.

More options are in BlitzAPI alternatives. For other pricing breakdowns, see Wappalyzer, Harmonic and ZeroBounce.
