BlitzAPI vs Datagma

BlitzAPI vs Datagma (2026): Data, Pricing and API Compared

BlitzAPI is a people and company data API on flat monthly plans. Datagma is a mobile and email finder sold in monthly bundles. BlitzAPI wins on volume, search and speed. Datagma wins on entry price, mobiles outside the US and lookups from a name and a company.

Every price and limit below was checked in September or October 2026, with its source link. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the page says so.

Verdict

  • Pick BlitzAPI if you search people and companies by filter from code, or already hold an account opened by September 30, 2026. Those accounts keep Plus at $499 a month flat, 50 requests per second and a 15,000,000 results a month line.
  • Pick Datagma if you enrich a known list of a few thousand contacts a month, need direct mobiles outside the US, or want a Chrome extension. Regular is $49 a month, and you pay only for a find.
  • Pick neither if you want one flat price at volume, phone numbers on the same plan and an MCP server that returns records. BlitzAPI's MCP server only reads its docs, and Datagma has no first-party server. LeadOcean is one option.

Data and coverage

BlitzAPI publishes a dataset size and Datagma does not. BlitzAPI counts 550M+ profiles tied to LinkedIn and 65M+ companies (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). Datagma gives no figure for either, so you cannot size its database before you test it.

Email is where BlitzAPI is specific. It lists 65M+ verified work emails, about 12% of its profile count, and says an address it cannot prove comes back as not found. Datagma verifies every email it returns. Catch-all addresses it cannot verify come back as "most probable" and are not billed (Datagma API docs, September 2026).

Phones split the two. BlitzAPI holds 45M+ numbers, all in the US, and sells them only on the $599 Full plan (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). Datagma claims top 3 EU phone coverage and checks whether a number is on WhatsApp (Datagma pricing, October 2026). That is its own claim and it publishes no count.

Both add signals beyond contacts. BlitzAPI lists 100M+ job postings. Datagma has a job change detection endpoint, so you can watch a contact who moves (Datagma API docs, September 2026).

Run the same 500 people through each before you buy. Match rate depends on the input you send, and neither vendor publishes one.

API and developer experience

BlitzAPI is a REST API with a header key. Datagma is a smaller surface where every call is a GET and the key sits in the URL. The bigger difference is the input each one accepts.

BlitzAPI's work email lookup is POST /v2/enrichment/email. It takes a LinkedIn URL and returns found, the verified email and an all_emails array. A successful lookup counts one record (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). The request, with a placeholder person:

bash
curl -X POST 'https://api.blitz-api.ai/v2/enrichment/email' \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -H "x-api-key: $BLITZAPI_API_KEY" \
  -d '{"person_linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe"}'

Datagma's Find Work Verified Email takes a name plus a company name or domain, with no profile URL needed. It returns a verified result or nothing, and costs no credit on a miss (Datagma docs, Datagma API, September 2026).

bash
curl "https://gateway.datagma.net/api/ingress/v8/findEmail?apiId=$DATAGMA_API_ID&fullName=Jane%20Doe&company=acme.com"

If you hold names and companies, Datagma fits without a prior step. If you hold LinkedIn URLs, BlitzAPI is the simpler call. Datagma's /v2/full enrichment also accepts a profile URL, an email, or a name plus a company, and costs 2 credits per match (Datagma API, September 2026).

Rate limits shape how each scales. BlitzAPI runs 50 requests per second per endpoint for accounts opened by September 30, 2026, and 5 as the standard rate (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026). Datagma lists no limit in its API docs, so ask before you plan a batch job.

For agents, neither ships a server that returns records. BlitzAPI's MCP server answers questions about its documentation. Datagma's only listed server is run by Zapier and exposes five actions (Zapier, September 2026).

Pricing

BlitzAPI charges per month, whatever you pull. Datagma charges per find, inside a monthly bundle of email and phone allowances. To compare them, count the emails and phones you would buy.

At 10,000 records a month. Take 10,000 verified work emails. Datagma Popular covers 7,500, so you need Expert: $249 a month, or $209 a month billed yearly (Datagma pricing, October 2026). That assumes one email allowance per verified email from the find email call, as the pricing page counts emails and phones separately.

BlitzAPI needs Plus for verified emails, because Core has none. Plus is $499 a month. So at 10,000 emails Datagma is cheaper: $499 - $249 = $250 a month on monthly billing (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).

Phones change the sum. Expert includes 750 phones a month, and 10,000 phones is about 13 times that, so it becomes an Enterprise quote. BlitzAPI sells US phones on Full at $599 a month.

The crossover. Expert stops at 22,500 emails for $249. Above that Datagma is custom. For an account opened by September 30, 2026, BlitzAPI stays at $499, so past about 22,500 emails a month it is the plan with a public price. A newer BlitzAPI account has no published monthly volume.

At 1M records a month. For an account opened by September 30, 2026, BlitzAPI Plus is $499 a month at list. One million results sit under the 15,000,000 a month fair use line, so $499 x 1 month = $499. Only emails it finds count as results (BlitzAPI pricing, September 2026).

Time matters at 1M. At 50 requests per second, 1,000,000 / 50 = 20,000 seconds, about 5.6 hours. At the standard 5 per second it is about 2.3 days.

Datagma has no public price at 1M. Expert is the largest self-serve plan, and 1,000,000 / 22,500 is about 44 times its monthly email allowance. Enterprise is custom through sales, and no per-email rate is published (Datagma pricing, October 2026). Ask Datagma for a quote at your volume. Datagma publishes no rate limit, so we show no time estimate.

One caution on BlitzAPI. The $499 price, the 50 requests per second and the 15,000,000 results line belong to accounts opened by September 30, 2026. BlitzAPI has not published prices for later accounts, and the standard limit is 5 requests per second (BlitzAPI Terms, September 2026). Check the pricing page on the day you sign up.

Where BlitzAPI wins

  • Cost at volume, for older accounts. A flat $499 for accounts opened by September 30, 2026, against a bundle that ends at 22,500 emails. Datagma has no public price at 1M.
  • Search. Company and people filters across the whole database. Datagma's Find People lists up to 10 people at a company for 10 credits (Datagma API docs, September 2026).
  • Speed. 50 requests per second per endpoint for accounts opened by September 30. Datagma publishes no limit.
  • Predictable bills. No credits and no overage line on paid plans (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).
  • A published dataset size. 550M+ profiles and 65M+ companies, plus 100M+ job postings.

BlitzAPI's weak points are US-only phones, no documented bulk export and an MCP server that only reads docs. Core, Plus and Full carry no SLA (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026).

Where Datagma wins

  • Entry price. $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for 3,000 emails and 100 phones. (Datagma pricing, October 2026).
  • A real free plan. 90 emails and 3 phones a month, with API access. BlitzAPI's 1,000 free credits are a one-off and exclude phone endpoints.
  • Mobiles beyond the US. BlitzAPI's phones are US only. Datagma claims coverage in Europe, the UK, India and APAC, though it publishes no count (Datagma, September 2026).
  • Lookup inputs. Name plus a company name or domain works with no profile URL.
  • File upload and an extension. Up to 50,000 rows per batch (Datagma file upload, September 2026), and a Chrome extension (Datagma pricing, October 2026).

Datagma's weak points are the 22,500-email ceiling, no published rate limit or dataset size, and no first-party MCP server.

If you need volume through an API

We build LeadOcean, so weigh this section accordingly. It has a free plan with 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Pro is $499 a month, flat, with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, and no credits or per-record price (LeadOcean pricing, September 2026).

It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies. The same REST API and a hosted MCP server with 12 tools run on every plan. The MCP server searches, enriches and exports records (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026).

For bulk pulls, POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request, or you can use the Exports page in the app. 1M rows is 20 requests over two days (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). See pricing for the detail.

FAQ

Is BlitzAPI cheaper than Datagma?

At low volume, no. At 10,000 verified emails a month Datagma Expert is $249 against BlitzAPI Plus at $499. Past about 22,500 emails, a BlitzAPI account opened by September 30, 2026 stays at $499, while Datagma has no public price. Newer BlitzAPI accounts have no public 1M price.

Which one has an MCP server that returns records?

Neither. BlitzAPI's server gives AI tools access to its API docs only (BlitzAPI docs, September 2026). We found no first-party Datagma server, only a Zapier-run one with five actions (Zapier, September 2026).

Which one is better for mobile numbers?

Datagma, if you call outside the US. BlitzAPI's 45M+ numbers are US only and need the $599 Full plan. Datagma publishes no phone count, so test it on your own list.

Does Datagma publish a rate limit?

No. Its API docs and API page list no request limit (Datagma API docs, September 2026). BlitzAPI lists 50 requests per second per endpoint for accounts opened by September 30, 2026, and 5 as the standard rate.

Can I export in bulk from either?

Datagma accepts a file of up to 50,000 rows per batch and returns the enriched file (Datagma, September 2026). BlitzAPI documents no bulk or CSV export. You pull data through the API with cursor pagination.

What happens to BlitzAPI pricing after September 30, 2026?

The offer closed to new accounts. BlitzAPI has not published prices for later accounts, and the standard limit is 5 requests per second (BlitzAPI Terms, September 2026).
