Crustdata Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits and What 1M Records Cost

Crustdata bills in credits, and the dollar price per credit is not public. Here is what 10k, 1M and 25M records cost in credits, and what you can and cannot price today.

Crustdata's lowest tier starts at $95 a month, according to a Crustdata blog post. The pricing page itself lists no plan names, no prices and no credit allowances (Crustdata pricing, September 2026). It marks no plan as most popular.

What is public is the credit cost of each call. Search is 0.03 credits per result. A person enrich is 1 to 7 credits (Crustdata pricing docs, September 2026). The docs do not give a dollar price per credit. They say it varies by plan, so 1M records costs 30,000 credits to search and 2,000,000 to enrich with a business email.

You cannot turn that into dollars without a quote. Every dollar figure on this page for Crustdata is a credit count you multiply by your own price.

Plans

Crustdata sells two products on its pricing page: a real-time API on credit-based tiers, and flat-file datasets. A custom enterprise route sits behind "Contact sales" (Crustdata pricing, September 2026).

no public dollar price per credit (Crustdata pricing, September 2026).

The pricing page lists no plan names, seat counts or credit allowances, and the docs give credits per call only (Crustdata pricing, September 2026; Crustdata docs, September 2026).

You need a Crustdata account to use the MCP server. No paid tier is named as a requirement. Limits come from the docs, which say exact values can change by plan and endpoint version (Crustdata rate limits, September 2026).

What a credit buys

A credit is the meter for every data call. Only the balance check is free among the credit-metered endpoints, and autocomplete and company identify are free too (Crustdata pricing docs, September 2026).

Hidden costs

The credit table is public. The bill depends on a price you only see after signing up.

  • No public dollar price. The docs tell you to confirm credit costs in your dashboard before planning production use. You cannot forecast a month from the website.
  • Credits expire. The credits docs say purchased credits last 12 months. A Crustdata blog post says 6 months. Only unused credits are removed (Crustdata credits, September 2026). Crustdata's docs say purchased credits expire 12 months after purchase (Crustdata credits, September 2026). A Crustdata blog post from 30 July 2026 says 6 months (Crustdata blog, September 2026), so confirm the term in your dashboard before you buy in bulk.
  • 402 at zero. When the balance runs out, requests fail with a 402. Each API key can also carry an admin-set monthly cap, which resets on the 1st (UTC).
  • Top-ups have a floor. Auto top-up needs a saved card and buys at least 500 credits. Three failed charges in a row turn it off.
  • Fractions round up. Fractional costs round up to whole credits when deducted, so a 0.03-credit result may not bill at 0.03 on small calls.
  • Contact data is enterprise. /person/contact/enrich returns a 403 on self-serve keys (Crustdata contact docs, September 2026).
  • Live endpoints are enterprise too. Live person enrich is 7 credits a profile, about 7x a base database enrich.
  • Low rate limits. Person enrich runs at 15 requests a minute and search at 30 by default. Higher limits go through support, and contact endpoints are constrained.
  • Watchers add up. A 1-day SLA watcher is 150 credits, per the pricing docs.

Worked examples

All three examples assume one record per person, every lookup matches and no retries. Credits are exact list costs from the table above. Dollars need your quoted price per credit, so the last step is yours: credits x your price.

10k records a month

  • Search only: 10,000 x 0.03 = 300 credits.
  • Enrich with business email: 10,000 x (1 + 1) = 20,000 credits.
  • Enrich with business email, personal email and phone: 10,000 x (1 + 1 + 2 + 2) = 60,000 credits.
  • LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat. At this size Crustdata may well be cheaper, depending on your credit price.

1M records a month

  • Search only: 1,000,000 x 0.03 = 30,000 credits.
  • Enrich with business email: 1,000,000 x 2 = 2,000,000 credits.
  • Full record (all three contact types): 1,000,000 x 6 = 6,000,000 credits.
  • Rate limit: batch enrich takes up to 10,000 identifiers a job, so 1M is 100 jobs (Crustdata batch docs, September 2026). Synchronous contact enrich takes 25 identifiers a request at 15 a minute, which is 375 people a minute and about 44 hours for 1M.
  • LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat.

25M records a month

  • Search only: 25,000,000 x 0.03 = 750,000 credits.
  • Enrich with business email: 25,000,000 x 2 = 50,000,000 credits.
  • Full record: 25,000,000 x 6 = 150,000,000 credits.
  • Batch jobs: 2,500 at 10,000 a job.
  • LeadOcean Pro: $499 flat. A very large month is paced down to one request a minute past the fair-usage line rather than cut off. One email to support gets more headroom.

The break-even is simple. LeadOcean Pro wins once your Crustdata credits cost more than $499 a month. Divide $499 by your price per credit to find that credit count.

Is it worth it

Crustdata is worth it when you need what a flat database does not have: live web data, jobs, posts and change watchers. Price is secondary to that.

  • Solo founder or small team: Pull the entry tier quote before you decide. Selective lookups with free misses can stay small. Search at 0.03 credits a result is cheap to try.
  • Signal-driven sales team: Crustdata fits. Watchers and live endpoints are what you pay for, and LeadOcean has neither.
  • RevOps or data engineer feeding a pipeline: Plan for 15 and 30 requests a minute and batch jobs. Forecasting is hard without a public credit price.
  • Agent builder: The MCP server at install.crustdata.com/mcp works with OAuth. Each request reports the credits it spent, which helps you cap spend.
  • Large enterprise: Ask for enterprise terms. Contact enrich and live endpoints are only there.

Alternatives with a different price model

These three do not bill by credit on a hidden rate card.

FullEnrich: pay per found contact. Pro is $55 a month for 1,000 credits, which is $0.055 a credit, with unlimited users and rollover (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). A work email is 1 credit and a mobile number is 10. See FullEnrich alternatives.

People Data Labs: pay per record retrieved. Free gives up to 100 credits a month with contact data obfuscated. Pro starts at $98 a month for 350 credits, with volume pricing above that (People Data Labs pricing, September 2026). It is an API with no seats. See People Data Labs alternatives.

LeadOcean: flat fee. Free is 1,000 records one-off with no card. Pro is $499 a month with unlimited searches, enrichments and lookups, 100 requests per second per key and 5 API keys. There are no credits and no overage invoice. It covers 693M people and 63M companies over REST and MCP. It has no sequencer, dialer or CRM. See pricing.
