Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) and Wiza both fill in B2B contacts, but they are built for different people. Clearbit is data enrichment inside HubSpot, with no price of its own. Wiza is a LinkedIn-first email and phone finder priced per user, with a separate API. The figures below come from each vendor's pages, checked in September and October 2026.
Verdict
- Pick Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) if your contacts and companies already live in HubSpot and you want them filled in without code. Enrichment rides on the plan you already pay for (HubSpot docs, September 2026).
- Pick Wiza if a rep prospects from LinkedIn Sales Navigator and needs emails and phones fast. Annual plans include unlimited email reveals per seat, from $83 a month billed at $990 a year (Wiza pricing, September 2026).
- Pick neither if you pull data in code at volume and want a bill you can read. Clearbit has no public API terms or 1M price, and Wiza quotes its API on a call. LeadOcean searches 693M people for a flat $499 a month.

Data and coverage
Wiza publishes a size and Clearbit does not. Wiza's homepage claims 850M+ contacts (Wiza, September 2026). Clearbit's homepage gives no people, company or phone count (Clearbit, September 2026).
Clearbit's published depth is on the company side. The homepage lists 6-digit NAICS, GICS and SIC industry codes, parent and subsidiary mapping, and normalized role and seniority. It also lists form shortening and reverse-IP visitor identification (Clearbit, September 2026). That is firmographics and routing data, not a list of people to contact.
HubSpot enriches a contact from a business email and a company from a domain. Personal addresses are not enriched (HubSpot docs, September 2026). The default contact fields are job title, seniority, role, location and a LinkedIn URL, not an email or a phone.
Wiza is built around a LinkedIn profile. Its reveal takes a profile URL, an email, or a name plus a company or domain. Wiza says it verifies contact data the moment you request it, instead of serving a stored copy (Wiza, September 2026). We have not tested that claim.
Phones are the clearer gap. Wiza returns up to three mobile numbers per profile for 5 API credits (Wiza docs, September 2026). HubSpot's enrichment docs state no phone coverage for Clearbit. If phones matter, Wiza is the only one of the two that sells them.
API and developer experience
Wiza has a public API reference you can read before you buy. Clearbit's documentation redirects to a sign-in page (Clearbit docs, September 2026). That alone settles the question for an engineer who wants to size a build before talking to anyone.
Wiza, start an individual reveal from a name, company and domain, adapted from its API reference:
curl -X POST "https://wiza.co/api/individual_reveals" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $WIZA_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"individual_reveal": {"full_name": "Jane Doe", "company": "Acme", "domain": "acme.com"}, "enrichment_level": "partial"}'The reply is a queued job. You fetch it with GET /api/individual_reveals/{id} or let a webhook deliver it. Wiza says a work email can take 0 to 380 seconds, about 25 on average. A personal email or a phone averages about 4 seconds (Wiza docs, September 2026). Build for a queue.
Clearbit, no public request. We cannot show one because the docs need a sign-in.
Sign-ups since December 2023 need a HubSpot account (Clearbit release notes, September 2026). Clearbit does not publish whether a new customer can get the API outside HubSpot. Inside HubSpot, a Super Admin turns enrichment on in settings.
Limits differ in kind. Wiza caps parallel requests in flight, not requests per second. Extra requests queue, up to 200 times your concurrency limit (Wiza docs, September 2026). The help center states 15 requests a second on Individual Reveal, so ask Wiza which applies to your key (Wiza help, July 2026). Clearbit publishes none.
On MCP, Wiza runs a remote server with 5 tools, and it needs both API access and credits (Wiza MCP guide, September 2026). We found no MCP server for Clearbit enrichment. HubSpot's MCP server covers CRM records such as contacts and deals (HubSpot MCP docs, October 2026).
Pricing
Neither tool has a price at 1M, and they get there by different routes. Clearbit has a CRM plan fee and no per-record price. Wiza has per-seat plans and API credits it prices on a call. The examples assume work emails only and every lookup a hit.
10,000 records a month
- Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence): no per-record price. HubSpot Starter is $10 a seat a month, or $7 billed yearly, on a new-customer offer (HubSpot Starter, October 2026). From an index page you enrich 100 records at a time, so 10,000 is 100 batches.
- Wiza, monthly seat: the Email plan is $99 a month with 500 valid emails. The other 9,500 cost $0.15 each, which is 9,500 x $0.15 = $1,425. The total is $99 + $1,425 = $1,524 a month (Wiza pricing, October 2026).
- Wiza, annual seats: emails are unlimited, but exports stop at 2,500 a month per seat. Exporting 10,000 takes 4 seats at $990 a year, which is 4 x $990 = $3,960 a year, about $330 a month.
- Wiza, through the API: 10,000 valid emails is 20,000 credits at 2 each. The dollar price per credit is not public, so there is no list price to show (Wiza docs, September 2026).
At 10,000 a month Clearbit is cheaper on paper, if HubSpot allows the volume. It publishes no monthly cap, so check before you rely on the seat price.
1M records a month
- Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence): No public 1M price. HubSpot publishes no per-record rate to multiply and no monthly enrichment cap to size against. At 100 records an index page, 1,000,000 is 10,000 batches (HubSpot docs, September 2026).
- Wiza: No public 1M price. Seat plans cap exports at 2,500 a month per seat. API access sits on a custom Team plan. API credits above the slider are quoted on a call (Wiza API, September 2026). We do not multiply a seat rate out to 1M, because Wiza does not sell it that way.
For a steady 1M every month, ask both vendors for a quote in writing. The HubSpot plan is the real Clearbit cost, and HubSpot prices it by hub and seat.
Where Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) wins
- Enrichment where your records live. Automatic enrichment fills new HubSpot contacts and companies with no code (HubSpot docs, September 2026). Wiza has CRM integrations, but a rep still triggers the reveal.
- Standardized company data. NAICS, GICS and SIC codes, parent and subsidiary mapping, and normalized role and seniority (Clearbit, September 2026). The Wiza pages we read list no industry hierarchy.
- Visitor identification. Clearbit's homepage advertises reverse-IP lookups that turn anonymous traffic into company signals. Wiza's pages list none.
- Low cost for an existing HubSpot team. If the plan is already paid for, enrichment adds nothing per record.
Where Wiza wins
- Phones and a LinkedIn workflow. Wiza builds lists from Sales Navigator, Recruiter or a CSV, and it sells mobile numbers (Wiza help, July 2026). Clearbit's pages state no phone coverage.
- A published size and a readable API. 850M+ contacts is a number you can test against your list. The API reference is public, and Clearbit's is not.
- No CRM required. Wiza works on its own. You do not need a HubSpot account to get a work email.
- Cheap for one rep. An annual seat at $83 a month gives unlimited email reveals (Wiza pricing, September 2026). One person working a few thousand profiles pays little.
If you need volume through an API
LeadOcean fits when the job is building a list, not filling one in. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 63M companies, behind REST and a 12-tool MCP server. Pro is $499 a month flat with no credits and no seats, and Free gives 1,000 records one-off with no card.
POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request, and the rate limit is 100 requests per second per key. LeadOcean does not credit back bounced emails, so read email_status before you send. It has no CRM, sequencer or Chrome extension. See the Clearbit alternative page or LeadOcean pricing. Related matchups: Hunter vs Wiza, FullEnrich vs Wiza and Findymail vs Wiza.
FAQ
Is Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) or Wiza cheaper?
It depends on volume and on whether you run HubSpot. At 10,000 records, Clearbit rides on a HubSpot Starter seat from $10 a month ($7 billed yearly), while Wiza's monthly Email seat comes to $1,524 by the arithmetic above. At 1M, neither publishes a price (list prices linked above).
Which has more data?
Wiza claims 850M+ contacts. Clearbit publishes no count. A bigger number does not mean a higher hit rate, so run the same 200 people through both.
Does either tool return phone numbers?
Wiza does. It returns up to three mobile numbers per profile, for 5 API credits or $0.35 on monthly seats beyond the included amount. HubSpot's enrichment docs state no phone coverage for Clearbit.
Do Clearbit and Wiza have an MCP server?
Wiza does, at mcp.wiza.co/mcp with 5 tools, and it needs API access and credits (Wiza MCP guide, September 2026). We found none for Clearbit enrichment. HubSpot's MCP server covers CRM records, not data enrichment.
Is Clearbit still a separate product?
Partly. Clearbit's site says it has joined HubSpot, and new sign-ups need a HubSpot account (Clearbit release notes, September 2026). HubSpot's docs call the feature data enrichment.
Can I use Wiza's API without talking to sales?
Not fully. The pricing page lists API access on the Team plan, and the help center says to ask support to enable it. Smaller credit amounts can be bought with a slider once API access is on (Wiza docs, September 2026).
