An email finder returns a person's business email address from a name and company, a LinkedIn URL or a stored ID. Teams that sell into the Nordics need one that holds people in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, not only the UK and Germany.
Five small countries hide easily inside a global total. A vendor that says "515M+ contacts" tells you nothing about Oslo or Helsinki. Almost no finder prints a Nordic count you can check. LeadOcean gives an exact free count by country, so we ran it, and the numbers are in section 1.
This page ranks seven finders on Nordic coverage alone, with list prices checked in September and October 2026. Read each rival on its own page: Dealfront, Cognism, Kaspr, Apollo, Lusha and FullEnrich. New to the category? Read what an email finder is first.
TL;DR
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Cost at 1M records a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeadOcean | API, agent and volume buyers who want an exact Nordic count first | Free (1,000 records, one-off). Solo $97 a month | Agency $497 a month. Fair use applies |
| Dealfront (Leadfeeder) | Nordic sales and marketing teams that want company data and visitor identification in one app | Lite free with 20 credits a month. Discover $113 a month billed monthly ($79 billed yearly) | No public 1M price |
| Cognism | Outbound teams that call Nordic mobiles and buy through sales | No public price. Quote only | No public 1M price |
| Kaspr | Reps prospecting from LinkedIn across Europe | Free (15 B2B email credits a month). Starter EUR 59 or $65 per user a month | No public 1M price. Top public tier is $99 per user a month |
| Apollo | Small teams that want an app and a cheap seat | Free with 75 credits a month. Basic $65 per seat a month ($49 billed yearly) | $24,750 a month at list on monthly billing, $19,600 billed yearly |
| Lusha | Single lookups in a browser extension | Free (40 credits a month). Starter $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly) | No public 1M price. Top public tier is $977.40 a month for 10,000 credits |
| FullEnrich | Waterfall lookups on Nordic names you already hold | Pro $29 a month for 500 credits ($26 billed yearly) | No public 1M price. Top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 |
"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, at list price, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. Where a vendor sells no plan at 1M, the cell says so and we do not multiply a small-plan rate. The Nordic market is small, so 1M a month is a ceiling test, not a plan most Nordic teams need.
What we evaluated
- Published Nordic coverage: whether the vendor prints a count or a claim for Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, or only a global total.
- Free coverage test: what you can run for nothing to learn your own hit rate on Nordic contacts, with local titles such as VD, daglig leder and toimitusjohtaja.
- How the tool finds a person: search by country and title, or lookup by name and domain. Lookup needs you to bring the Nordic names.
- API and MCP: which plan opens the API, the rate limit, and whether an agent can run lookups.
- Price at volume: the list price of 1M work-email lookups a month, and what a miss costs.
We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September and October 2026. The only counts we ran ourselves are LeadOcean's. We ran no find-rate or accuracy test on rivals, so we quote none.
1. LeadOcean: best for API, agent and volume buyers
LeadOcean is a people and company database behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 67M companies. Country is a filter, so you size the Nordics before you spend a record.
We ran count_leads on 2026-10-21 with country set to SE, NO, DK, FI and IS. The default counts only people whose best email is verified, catch-all valid or catch-all. That is the mailable count. It matched 1,573,600 people. With no email condition, the same filters match 9,295,261. About 17% of Nordic people are mailable.
| Country (person location) | Mailable email | Any email status |
|---|---|---|
| Sweden | 752,492 | 3,483,976 |
| Denmark | 292,922 | 2,369,057 |
| Norway | 276,510 | 1,947,934 |
| Finland | 239,909 | 1,320,527 |
| Iceland | 11,767 | 173,767 |
| All five | 1,573,600 | 9,295,261 |
Sweden is 48% of the mailable Nordic count, Denmark 19%, Norway 18%, Finland 15% and Iceland under 1%. Iceland is thin, so test it first. The set also skews large. Companies with 10,001 or more staff hold 413,250 of the mailable people. Run your own size band before you trust the total.
Counts are free and spend no records. The same check runs over REST.
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/search?count=true&limit=1" \
-H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"country": ["SE"], "emailStatus": ["verified", "catch_all_valid", "catch_all"]}'The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1. It exposes 13 tools, from search_leads to export_leads (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026). Work emails are also at GET /v2/people/email/work.
Nordic coverage test. Run count_leads for each of your account domains with country SE, NO, DK or FI. It is free and exact. Then enrich 25 Nordic contacts on the Free plan, which gives 1,000 records for life, and read email_status on each. A person we hold nothing for is a free 404.
Pros
- An exact, free count by country, with an email status filter.
- Search by title, seniority and country, then pull the email from the same record.
- Paid plans have a fair-use pace, not credits. A very large month slows, it does not stop.
- REST and MCP on every plan, including Free.
Cons
- Iceland holds 11,767 mailable people and Finland 239,909. Small markets are thin.
- No lookup by name plus domain. Search by company domain first, then enrich by
person_id. - No Chrome extension, sequencer or CRM. The app has an Exports page with a filter builder and CSV download.
Best for: engineers, RevOps and agents that need to size and pull Nordic contacts at volume.
Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Solo is $97 a month, Agency is $497 a month and Platform is $1,997 a month (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).
2. Dealfront (Leadfeeder): best for Nordic sales and marketing teams
Dealfront is the Nordic-native option. It merged Germany's Echobot and Finland's Leadfeeder, and the product now trades as Leadfeeder, with website visitor identification as its core. Weigh that if you want contact data more than visitor signals.
The homepage claims 60M companies and 400M verified contacts (Dealfront, October 2026). It gives no split for Sweden, Norway, Denmark or Finland. List prices are the same number in dollars and euros (Leadfeeder help, September 2026).
An email-only contact costs 0.2 credit, and a credit unlocks that record for 12 months (Leadfeeder credits help, September 2026). API access is on Discover, Activate and Scale, not Lite. The limit is 10 requests a second per key and 100,000 requests a month (Leadfeeder API docs, September 2026). The MCP server is in beta (Leadfeeder MCP page, September 2026).
Nordic coverage test. Lite is free with 20 credits a month (Leadfeeder pricing, September 2026). At 0.2 credit an email-only contact, 20 credits reach at most 100 contacts. Use your 100 named Nordic contacts, and note the found rate by country.
Pros
- Leadfeeder started in Finland.
- Free Lite plan to start.
- Visitor identification and company data in one platform.
Cons
- No Nordic count, only a global total.
- 1M email-only contacts is 200,000 credits against 5,500 a month on the top tier.
- 100,000 API requests a month per key.
Best for: Nordic sales and marketing teams that want company data and visitor identification in one app.
Pricing: Lite free. Discover $113 a month billed monthly or $79 billed yearly, Activate $527 or $369, Scale from $599 billed yearly (Leadfeeder pricing, September 2026).
3. Cognism: best for Nordic outbound teams that call mobiles

Cognism sells sales prospecting built around phone-verified mobiles and European data. Its own EMEA page says coverage is strongest in the UK, DACH, Benelux, Nordics, France and Spain, and claims more than 200M European contacts (Cognism EMEA data, October 2026). Those are vendor claims, with no single-country count.
It is a sales contract, not a self-serve finder. The pricing page lists Standard and Pro with five seats each and no dollar price. One credit is one revealed contact (Cognism pricing, September 2026). The API allows 500 requests a minute per account, per operation (Cognism rate limits, September 2026). The MCP server has 15 tools (Cognism MCP docs, September 2026).
Nordic coverage test. The EMEA page offers 25 tailored leads to test the data. Send your Nordic names and ask for Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland by name, one country at a time (Cognism EMEA data, October 2026).
Pros
- Names the Nordics in its own positioning.
- A 25-lead sample before purchase.
- MCP server with 15 tools that map onto the API.
Cons
- No public price, so you cannot budget without a sales call.
- No Nordic count on the pages we read.
- API and MCP need a package that includes them.
Best for: Nordic outbound teams that cold-call mobiles and can buy through sales.
Pricing: no public price. Standard and Pro are quote only (Cognism pricing, September 2026).
4. Kaspr: best for LinkedIn prospecting across Europe
Kaspr is a LinkedIn-first contact finder, born in France. Its data page promises "200 million + European B2B contacts" (Kaspr data page, October 2026). Its regions FAQ says only that it covers B2B decision makers across the globe, with no figure for Sweden, Norway, Denmark or Finland.
Free is $0 per user with 15 B2B email credits, 5 phone credits and 5 direct email credits a month. API access is on request on paid plans. Each API call spends a data credit plus one export credit, and Business allows 500 requests a day (Kaspr pricing, September 2026; Kaspr help center, September 2026). We found no MCP server on the pages we read.
Nordic coverage test. Use the Free plan with the extension. Open 15 Nordic LinkedIn profiles for email and 5 for phones, and count how many return a result. Export on Free is capped at 100.
Pros
- Europe is the home market.
- Unlimited B2B email credits on paid plans, under a fair use policy.
- Fast for one profile at a time inside LinkedIn.
Cons
- No Nordic count that we can verify.
- API is on request only and capped at 500 requests a day on Business.
- Priced per user, so cost grows with headcount.
Best for: reps who look up Nordic buyers one LinkedIn profile at a time.
Pricing: Free. Starter is EUR 59 or $65 per user a month billed monthly. Business is EUR 99 or $99 (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).
5. Apollo: best for small teams that want an app and a cheap seat

Apollo is a prospecting app with a database behind it. Its pricing page claims 240M contacts and 30M companies (Apollo pricing, September 2026). The page shows no split for the Nordics, so the global total says nothing about Sweden or Finland.
Plans bill per seat. Free is $0 with 75 credits a month. Basic is $65 a seat a month with 2,500 credits, Professional is $99 with 4,000 and Organization is $149 with 6,000. An email costs 1 credit and a phone 8 (Apollo API pricing, September 2026). Credits do not roll over.
Every plan includes API access. Paid plans allow 1,000 enrichment requests a minute (Apollo rate limits, September 2026). Apollo runs an official MCP server on any plan (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).
Nordic coverage test. The free plan has 75 credits, enough for 75 emails or 9 phones. Run 75 of your Nordic names for email and note the found rate, country by country.
Pros
- A full sales app with API and MCP on the free plan.
- Low per-seat price.
- High enrichment rate limit on paid plans.
Cons
- No Nordic count on the pages we read.
- Seats cap the credits. 1M work emails is 250 Professional seats, or $24,750 a month at list.
- A phone costs 8 credits.
Best for: small teams that want prospecting and sequencing in one app and will test the Nordics on the free plan first.
Pricing: Free, then $65, $99 and $149 per seat a month, or $49, $79 and $119 billed yearly (Apollo pricing, September 2026).
6. Lusha: best for single lookups in a browser extension

Lusha sells contact data on self-serve credit plans, with a browser extension and an API. Its homepage claims 515M+ contacts and 29M+ companies, worldwide (Lusha, October 2026). There is no Nordic split.
An email costs 1 credit and a phone 5. Every plan includes an API key, Free included (Lusha API guide, September 2026). Free and Starter allow 40 requests a minute and 100 a day. The MCP server has 50 tools and shares the REST credit pool (Lusha MCP docs, September 2026).
Nordic coverage test. Free gives 40 credits, enough for 40 emails or 8 phones. Reveal 40 Nordic contacts in the app and note which countries come back empty.
Pros
- Low entry price, with a free plan and no card.
- API key and a 50-tool MCP server on the same credits.
Cons
- A global total only, no Nordic count.
- The top public tier is 10,000 credits a month. 1M is 100 times that.
- Free and Starter cap API use at 100 requests a day.
Best for: reps who look up contacts one at a time and want a free plan to test with.
Pricing: Free, then $49.90, $69.90 and $399.90 a month, or $37.45, $52.45 and $299.95 billed yearly (Lusha pricing, September 2026).
7. FullEnrich: best for waterfall lookups on Nordic names you hold
FullEnrich runs a lookup across 25+ data sources and charges only for what it finds (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). It lists full access to 800M people and 50M companies for search, with no Nordic split.
A work email costs 1 credit, a mobile 10, and a miss costs 0 (FullEnrich credit docs, September 2026). The API allows 60 calls a minute, with up to 100 contacts per bulk request (FullEnrich volume docs, September 2026). API, MCP and bulk CSV are on every plan.
Nordic coverage test. The free trial gives 50 credits with no card. Run 25 Nordic contacts with their company domains and keep the found rate. Misses cost nothing.
Pros
- Pay only for what it finds.
- API, MCP and bulk CSV on every plan.
- Several sources checked per lookup, which helps on a thin market.
Cons
- No published Nordic figure.
- 60 calls a minute is slow for a large pull.
- The top monthly tier is 100,000 credits, so 1M has no public price.
Best for: teams that hold Nordic names and want several sources checked per lookup.
Pricing: Pro $29 a month for 500 credits ($26 billed yearly). Top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).

How to choose
- Nordic people by API, agent or at volume, with a count you can verify: LeadOcean.
- A Nordic team that lives in an app and wants visitor identification: Dealfront.
- Cold-calling mobiles in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland: Cognism. Run its 25-lead sample on your own list first.
- LinkedIn-first reps selling across Europe: Kaspr, after a free test on Nordic profiles.
- A cheap app seat to test the Nordics: Apollo or Lusha, on the free plans.
- Nordic names you already hold, checked across sources: FullEnrich.
Verdict
LeadOcean wins for anyone who pulls Nordic records by API, agent or export. It gives a free, exact Nordic count: 1,573,600 mailable people on 2026-10-21, with Iceland the thin spot and large employers over-represented. Dealfront wins for Nordic sales and marketing teams that want an app, because Leadfeeder started in Finland and pairs contacts with visitor signals. Cognism suits phone-led calling on a contract. Kaspr suits LinkedIn-first reps. Apollo and Lusha suit small teams on free plans, and FullEnrich suits lists you already own. We have not measured Nordic match rates for the rivals, so run the same 100 names through any two before you pay.
FAQ
What is the best email finder for the Nordics?
For API, agent and volume work, LeadOcean. It matched 1,573,600 mailable people in the Nordics on 2026-10-21, and the count was free. For a Nordic app with visitor signals, Dealfront. For phone-led calling, Cognism.
How many Nordic contacts does LeadOcean have?
On 2026-10-21, a free count_leads call for Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland matched 1,573,600 people with a verified, catch-all valid or catch-all email. With no email condition it matched 9,295,261. Both counts spent no records.
How do I test an email finder's Nordic coverage before paying?
Take 100 named contacts, 25 each in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, half with local titles such as VD or toimitusjohtaja. Run them through each tool's free allowance and score found, email returned and phone returned.
Does a global contact count say anything about the Nordics?
No. Lusha publishes 515M+ global contacts and Apollo 240M, with no Nordic split. Only a filtered count or your own test shows what you can pull. Kaspr's 200 million is a European headline, so test it on your own list.
Which email finder is cheapest for 1M Nordic lookups?
LeadOcean Agency is $497 a month with a fair-use pace, not a per-record price. Apollo is $24,750 a month at list on monthly billing. Most other vendors publish no price at 1M, so ask for a quote.
Does LeadOcean cover the UK as well?
Yes, country is a filter, so you can count the UK the same way. See best email finder tools for the UK for a UK-only ranking, or the main email finder ranking.
