An email finder turns a name and a company into a business email address. A RevOps team needs one when it owns the data that reps, marketers and automations all draw from, and the lookup count adds up across all of them.
RevOps hits four limits first: a credit meter that grows with every workflow, per-seat prices, API caps and a bill that jumps at volume. This page ranks seven finders on those four points, with list prices checked in September 2026. Several have their own page: Hunter, Anymail Finder, Apollo, Prospeo, FullEnrich and BetterContact. TL;DR
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Cost at 1M records a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeadOcean | RevOps teams that pull data by API or agent | Free (1,000 records, one-off). Solo $97 a month. Agency $497 a month | $497 a month flat on Agency. Fair-use pace applies |
| Hunter | Domain lookups with an app, extension and shared pool | Free 50 credits a month. Starter $49 a month ($34 billed yearly) | $6,900 once for 1,000,000 Search credits on Data Platform, valid 12 months |
| Anymail Finder | Verified emails with unlimited team members | $29 a month for 400 credits ($19 billed yearly) | $4,990 one-time for the 1M-credit pack, valid 12 months |
| Apollo | Reps who need a full sales workspace | Free 75 credits a month. Basic $65 per seat a month ($49 billed yearly) | $24,750 a month ($19,600 a month billed yearly), counted in seats |
| Prospeo | Small teams that want an extension and CRM sync | Free 100 credits a month. Starter $49 per user a month ($37 billed yearly) | No single tier reaches 1M. Cheapest public path is $14,456 a month ($11,223 once billed yearly) |
| FullEnrich | Waterfall emails and mobiles on lists you own | Pro $29 a month for 500 credits ($26 billed yearly) | No public 1M price. Top monthly tier: 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month |
| BetterContact | Waterfall enrichment with no-code integrations | Starter $15 a month for 200 credits. Pro from $49 for 1,000 credits | No public 1M price. Top public tier: 50,000 credits for $1,999 a month |
"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, at list price, one credit each where the vendor uses credits. Where a vendor sells no plan at 1M, the cell shows its top public tier or cheapest public path, not a price.
What we evaluated
- Volume across the team: how many lookups a month the plan covers, and the price at 1M.
- Price model: flat, credits or seats, and whether unused credits carry over.
- API and rate limit: which plan opens the API and how many requests a second or minute it allows.
- MCP: whether an agent can run lookups through the vendor's server, and how it signs in.
- Seats: how many people share one account, and whether each added seat adds a bill.
We read each vendor's pricing page and docs in September 2026. We ran no find-rate or accuracy test, so we quote none of our own. A number a vendor publishes is labeled a vendor claim.
1. LeadOcean: best for RevOps teams that pull data by API or agent
LeadOcean is a people and company database behind one REST API and one MCP server. It holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 67M companies. You search with 50 people filters, then take the email from the same record. Counts are free.
The Agency plan is built for RevOps teams. It costs $497 a month and covers 1M enrichments a day, with 25M search records a month, 5 API keys and 200 requests a second. There are no credits and no per-seat price: each paid plan has a fair-use pace, and reaching it slows the key until the window resets.
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/enrich" \
-H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"linkedin_url":"https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe","reveal_email":true}'Work emails are also at GET /v2/people/email/work. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 13 tools, from search_leads to export_leads (LeadOcean MCP docs, October 2026). Phones and bulk CSV export are included on Agency, at up to 50k rows a file. The app at app.leadocean.io has an Exports page with a filter builder.
Pros
- One flat $497 a month on Agency, with no credit meter and no per-seat price.
- Search by 50 people filters, then take emails and phones from the same database.
- 5 keys and 200 requests a second, so one key per workflow or per system.
- An
email_statuson each address, fromverifiedtospam_trap.
Cons
- No Chrome extension, sequencer, dialer or CRM. Reps who prospect in a browser need another tool.
- No lookup by name plus domain. Search by company domain first, then enrich by
person_id. - No refund for bounced emails. Read
email_statusbefore you send. - No native CRM connector. You load data through the API, MCP or a CSV export.
Best for: RevOps teams that run lookups in code or through an agent and want a fixed bill.
Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Solo is $97 a month for one person. Agency is $497 a month (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).
2. Hunter: best for domain lookups with an app, extension and shared pool
Hunter is an email finder built around a domain. One credit is one email found, and nothing is charged if nothing is found (Hunter help, September 2026). Unlimited team members share one credit pool on every all-in-one plan, so adding a rep adds no seat fee.
The free plan gives 50 credits a month. Starter is $49 a month ($34 billed yearly) for 2,000 credits, Growth is $149 for 10,000 and Scale is $299 for 25,000 (Hunter pricing, September 2026). At volume the route is Data Platform, which sells 1,000,000 Search credits for $6,900, bought once and valid 12 months (Hunter Data Platform, September 2026).
Email Finder and Domain Search allow 15 requests a second (Hunter API docs, September 2026). Bulk Email Finder takes up to 50,000 rows per file (Hunter help, September 2026). The remote MCP server at https://mcp.hunter.io/mcp is included in every plan (Hunter MCP, September 2026).
Pros
- Unlimited team members on one credit pool.
- 15 requests a second on the core endpoints.
- MCP server included on every plan at no extra cost.
- Browser extension for reps who do not use the API.
Cons
- The top all-in-one plan stops at 25,000 credits a month, so volume means Data Platform or Enterprise.
- Domain-first. To build a list by title or seniority, you page through domains.
- Monthly credits do not carry over. The 1M price is a one-off purchase, not a monthly bill.
Best for: RevOps teams that find emails by domain and want an app and extension beside the API.
Pricing: Free. Starter $49, Growth $149, Scale $299 a month, or less billed yearly (Hunter pricing, September 2026).
3. Anymail Finder: best for verified emails with unlimited team members
Anymail Finder verifies an address live and charges 1 credit only when it finds a valid one. A decision-maker search costs 2 credits. A search that finds no verified email is free, as is a repeat within 30 days (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).
Monthly plans run from $29 for 400 credits to $799 for 100,000. Past that you buy one-time packs, and the 1,000,000-credit pack is $4,990, valid 12 months. Unlimited team members share one credit pool, so seats never drive the bill. Prices are the USD view, because the page shows Canadian dollars to visitors in Canada.
The API docs state no rate limits and no daily call caps (Anymail Finder API docs, September 2026). The MCP server has five actions: find a person, find a decision maker, find company emails, verify an email and check your account (Anymail Finder MCP, September 2026).
Pros
- Pay only for emails it verifies, with a credit back for bounces after review.
- Unlimited team members on one pool.
- The 1M pack is the cheapest 1M price on this page after LeadOcean's flat plan.
Cons
- No database search. You bring the people or companies to look up.
- The largest monthly plan is 100,000 credits for $799.
- The MCP server does not cover bulk files or webhooks.
Best for: RevOps teams with a known list of names and domains that want live-verified emails.
Pricing: $29 to $799 a month, or one-time packs up to $4,990 for 1,000,000 credits (Anymail Finder pricing, September 2026).
4. Apollo: best for reps who need a full sales workspace

Apollo is a sales workspace with an email finder inside it. It has a lead database, sequences, a dialer and CRM sync. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number costs 8 (Apollo API pricing, September 2026).
Pricing is per seat. Billed monthly, Free has 75 credits and Basic is $65 a seat for 2,500. Professional is $99 for 4,000 and Organization is $149 for 6,000, with a 3-seat minimum (Apollo pricing, September 2026). Credits are pooled across the team, expire each cycle and do not roll over.
Every plan includes API access. Enrichment endpoints allow 1,000 calls a minute on paid plans, and search allows 200 a minute and 50,000 a day (Apollo rate limits, September 2026). The official MCP server at https://mcp.apollo.io/mcp takes OAuth or an API key on any plan (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Sequences, dialer and CRM sync beside the finder, so one tool runs outreach too.
- API and MCP on every plan, including Free.
- Credits pool across the team, so one heavy user does not strand the rest.
Cons
- Credits scale with seats, so volume gets expensive. 1M lookups needs about 250 Professional seats.
- Credits do not roll over, including purchased add-ons.
- The price of an extra credit is not public.
Best for: RevOps teams that want one workspace for finding, sequencing and calling, and pay per rep.
Pricing: Free. Basic $65, Professional $99, Organization $149 per seat a month (Apollo pricing, September 2026).
5. Prospeo: best for small teams that want an extension and CRM sync
Prospeo sells an email and mobile finder per user, on credits. One verified email costs 1 credit and one mobile costs 10. A lookup that returns nothing costs nothing, and re-enriching the same record within 90 days is free (Prospeo help, September 2026).
Free has 100 credits a month. Paid plans are priced per user: Starter is $49 a month for 2,000 credits, Growth is $99 for 5,000 and Pro is $249 for 15,000 (Prospeo pricing, September 2026). Plan credits from every seat go into one shared team pool. Unused credits expire at the end of each cycle.
The Enrich API allows 5 requests a second on Starter and Growth and 30 on Pro. Daily caps run from 2,000 on Starter to 500,000 on Pro (Prospeo rate limits, September 2026). The MCP server at https://mcp.prospeo.io exposes 8 tools and signs in with OAuth 2.0 or an API key (Prospeo MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Chrome extension, plus native HubSpot and Salesforce sync on Growth and Pro (Prospeo pricing, October 2026).
- A miss costs no credit, and repeat enrichment is free for 90 days.
- Seat credits pool across the team.
Cons
- Per-user pricing, so every added seat adds to the bill.
- No single tier reaches 1M. The cheapest public path is 44 Pro seats plus a $3,500 add-on.
- Daily caps of 2,000 on Starter and 5,000 on Growth.
- Credits expire each cycle.
Best for: small RevOps teams that want an extension, CRM sync and pay-as-you-go emails.
Pricing: Free. Starter $49, Growth $99, Pro $249 per user a month (Prospeo pricing, September 2026).
6. FullEnrich: best for waterfall emails and mobiles on lists you own
FullEnrich queries 25+ sources per contact and charges for what it finds. A work email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a mobile 10. Not found costs 0 (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). It states about an 80% work-email find rate, a vendor claim we did not test (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).
Pro starts at $29 a month for 500 credits. The page opens on $55 for 1,000 credits. The top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month ($0.035 a credit), and above that you contact sales. API, MCP, search and bulk CSV are on every plan, and users are unlimited on every plan.
The API allows 60 calls a minute, with up to 100 contacts per bulk request (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Unused credits roll over 3 months on monthly plans and 12 months on annual plans (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).
Pros
- Waterfall across 25+ sources, so one call covers several vendors.
- No charge for not found or landline results.
- Unlimited users, with API and MCP on every plan.
- Credits roll over for 3 or 12 months.
Cons
- Credits cost $0.035 or more on every monthly tier.
- No public 1M price.
- 60 API calls a minute is a low ceiling for a pipeline.
- Mobiles cost 10 credits, so phone-heavy lists get costly.
Best for: RevOps teams that want waterfall emails and mobiles on a list they already own, at modest volume.
Pricing: Pro from $29 a month for 500 credits. Enterprise is custom (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).
7. BetterContact: best for waterfall enrichment with no-code integrations
BetterContact is a waterfall service. It asks 20+ data providers for an email or a mobile and charges only for valid results. One email costs 1 credit and one mobile costs 10 (BetterContact credits, September 2026). It lists 28 native integrations, which suits teams that enrich inside a CRM or a table tool.
Starter is $15 a month for 200 credits. Pro runs in steps from 1,000 credits for $49 up to 50,000 for $1,999 a month. Enterprise starts at $799 a month on a custom quote (BetterContact pricing, September 2026). Unused credits roll over, capped at twice the plan, and 12 months on annual plans. The pricing page lists no per-seat price.
The API allows 100 requests a minute on Starter and 200 on Pro, per key (BetterContact rate limits, September 2026). We found no MCP server in its docs index (BetterContact API index, September 2026). Phone lookups through the API need a phone add-on, and BetterContact publishes no price for it.
Pros
- Credits are charged only on valid results, and misses are free.
- 28 native integrations for no-code enrichment flows.
- Credits roll over, so a quiet month is not lost.
Cons
- No public price above 50,000 credits a month.
- No MCP server that we could find, so an agent needs glue code.
- 100 to 200 requests a minute is a low ceiling for bulk pulls.
- Needs a name and a company or domain for each lead. It is enrichment, not a database you query.
Best for: RevOps teams that enrich lists inside no-code tools and want a waterfall.
Pricing: Starter $15 a month. Pro from $49 for 1,000 credits to $1,999 for 50,000. Enterprise from $799 a month, custom (BetterContact pricing, September 2026).

Sources are linked in each tool section, all checked in September 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm on the pricing page before you buy. The 1M column is list-price arithmetic on email lookups. Hunter's and Anymail Finder's figures are one-off purchases valid 12 months, not monthly bills. FullEnrich and BetterContact sell no plan at 1M a month. Prospeo's path is 44 Pro seats at $249 plus the 350,000-credit add-on at $3,500, or $11,223 once billed yearly. Apollo's figure is 250 Professional seats at $99, or 400 Basic seats at $49 billed yearly.
