An email finder returns a person's business email address from a name and company, a LinkedIn URL or an ID. Sales teams, recruiters and agent builders who sell into Spain need one that actually holds people there. Most vendors publish a global total and nothing for Spain.
This page ranks seven finders on one criterion: how well they cover people who work in Spain, and how you can check it before you pay. LeadOcean's figures come from free counts we ran on 21 October 2026. Every other number is the vendor's claim, with its source. Several tools have their own page: Cognism, Kaspr, Apollo, Hunter, FullEnrich and Lusha. New to the category? Read what an email finder is first.
TL;DR
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Cost at 1M records a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| LeadOcean | Spanish lists pulled by API, agent or volume | Free (1,000 records, one-off). Solo $97 a month | Agency $497 a month. Fair-use pace applies |
| Cognism | Outbound teams that call Spanish mobiles and buy through sales | No public price | No public 1M price |
| Kaspr | Reps who prospect from LinkedIn across Europe | Free. Starter $65 per user a month (EUR 59) | No public 1M price |
| Apollo | Small teams that want an app and a cheap seat | Free with 75 credits a month. Basic $65 per seat a month ($49 billed yearly) | $24,750 a month at list on monthly billing, $19,600 billed yearly |
| Hunter | Domain lookups with an app and extension | Free 50 credits a month. Starter $49 a month ($34 billed yearly) | $6,900 once for 1,000,000 Search credits on Data Platform, valid 12 months |
| FullEnrich | Waterfall emails and mobiles for known Spanish names | Pro $29 a month for 500 credits ($26 billed yearly) | No public 1M price. Top monthly tier: 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month |
| Lusha | A free plan, but only after you confirm it serves Spain | Free. Starter $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly) | No public 1M price. Top public tier is 10,000 credits for $977.40 a month |
"1M records" means 1M work-email lookups that return a result, at list price. Where a vendor sells no plan at 1M, the cell says so or shows its top public tier. We never multiply a small-plan rate out to 1M.
What we evaluated
- Published Spain figure: a count for Spain, a wider region, or nothing. Vendors count by different rules, so totals do not compare cleanly.
- A free test you can run: whether you can check Spanish coverage on a free plan, a trial or a sample before you pay.
- API and MCP: which plans open the API and an agent server, and the default rate limit.
- Price model at volume: flat, credits or seats, and the list price of 1M work-email lookups.
- Limits that bite: plan ceilings, seat rules, what a miss costs and any legal flag for Spanish data.
We ran no find-rate test. Treat every non-LeadOcean figure as a vendor claim until you run the test below.
The Spain coverage test
Take 100 contacts you sell to: 40 around Madrid, 30 around Barcelona and 30 elsewhere, such as Valencia, Seville and Bilbao. Use company domains ending in .es and mix Spanish titles (Director General, Gerente, Consejero Delegado) with English ones. Include owners and managers of firms under 200 people.
Run the same 100 through each tool on its free plan, trial or sample. Count three things: people found, work emails returned, and emails with a verified status. Do it on one day, because every vendor refreshes on its own schedule. Score the small-firm owners on their own. A blended hit rate hides the thin spot.
1. LeadOcean: best for Spanish lists pulled by API, agent or volume
LeadOcean holds 693M people, 366M with an email and 166M with a phone number, plus 67M companies. A free count on 21 October 2026 found 11,830,634 people located in Spain with any email status, including none. You can size a Spanish list before you spend a record, because counts are free.
The default count, which keeps verified, catch-all valid and catch-all addresses, is 1,031,056, about 9% of the total. Size a campaign on the mailable figure, not the headline.
These counts all use the country filter set to ES, run through the MCP count_leads tool on 21 October 2026. Rows marked mailable use the default email filter.
| What we filtered | People |
|---|---|
| Spain, verified, catch-all valid or catch-all email (mailable) | 1,031,056 |
| Madrid, same email filter (mailable) | 264,206 |
| Barcelona, same email filter (mailable) | 187,252 |
| Spain, companies of 1 to 200 employees, same email filter (mailable) | 296,567 |
| Spain, verified work email | 288,224 |
| Spain, with any email, any status | 3,358,289 |
| Spain, with an email and a phone number, any status (not a mailable count) | 192,120 |
| Spain, any email status, including none | 11,830,634 |
Madrid holds about 26% of the mailable total and Barcelona about 18%. The company-size row counts only people whose employer has a headcount on file. You can repeat the check. A search with count=true and limit 1 costs nothing, and the REST total stops at 100,000, so use the MCP count_leads tool for an exact Spain figure.
curl -X POST "https://api.leadocean.io/v1/people/search?count=true" \
-H "x-api-key: $LEADOCEAN_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"country":["ES"],"limit":1}'To find one email, search by company domain, then enrich by person_id with POST /v1/people/enrich and reveal_email set to true. A person we hold nothing for is a free 404. The MCP server at https://api.leadocean.io/mcp signs in with OAuth 2.1 and exposes 13 tools (LeadOcean MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- Free counts on every plan, so Spanish coverage is checkable before you spend.
- REST and MCP on every plan, including Free, with 13 MCP tools.
- Agency is $497 a month with 1M enrichments a day, not a per-lookup meter.
- An
email_statuson every record, with 13 values, and a free 404 on a miss.
Cons
- About 9% of Spanish records carry a mailable email, and only 192,120 have both an email and a phone.
- No lookup by name plus domain. Search by company domain first, then enrich by
person_id. - No Chrome extension, sequencer or CRM. The app has an Exports page with a filter builder and CSV download.
Best for: engineers, RevOps teams and agents that pull Spanish lists at volume.
Pricing: Free is 1,000 records, one-off, no card. Solo is $97 a month, Agency $497 and Platform $1,997 (LeadOcean pricing, October 2026).
2. Cognism: best for outbound teams that call Spanish mobiles

Cognism sells sales prospecting built around phone-verified mobiles and European data. Its EMEA page names Spain among its strongest markets, with the UK, DACH, Benelux, the Nordics and France (Cognism EMEA data, October 2026). The same page claims more than 200M European contacts, with no Spanish count.
Cognism claims more than 10M phone-verified contacts and Do Not Call checks in 15 territories (Cognism Diamond Data, September 2026). It publishes no dollar price. Pricing is tailored to team setup and usage, with Standard and Pro plans at five seats each (Cognism pricing, September 2026).
Spain test: the EMEA page offers 25 tailored leads to test data before you buy. It does not say which countries the sample covers, so ask for it on 25 of your Spanish names and count emails and mobiles.
The API allows 500 requests a minute per account, per operation (Cognism rate limits, September 2026). The MCP server has 15 tools and OAuth 2.0 sign-in (Cognism MCP docs, September 2026). API and MCP need a package that includes them.
Pros
- Spain named among its strongest markets, in its own words.
- Phone-verified mobiles with Do Not Call checks.
- A 25-lead sample before purchase.
- MCP server with 15 tools.
Cons
- No Spanish count, only a European headline claim.
- No public price at any size, so 1M needs a sales call.
- API and MCP depend on the package you buy.
Best for: outbound teams that call mobiles in Europe, buy through sales and will run the sample on a Spanish list first.
Pricing: Quote only. Standard and Pro plans (Cognism pricing, September 2026).
3. Kaspr: best for reps prospecting from LinkedIn across Europe
Kaspr is a LinkedIn-first contact finder, born in France, with hubs in the UK and Spain. Its data page claims 200 million European B2B contacts from 120+ sources (Kaspr data page, October 2026). Its regions FAQ says only that it covers B2B decision makers across the globe, with no figure for Spain.
Free is $0 per user. It has 15 B2B email credits, 5 phone credits and 5 direct email credits a month. Starter is EUR 59 or $65 per user a month billed monthly, and Business is EUR 99 or $99 (Kaspr pricing, September 2026). Phone and direct email credits are limited.
Spain test: the free plan covers 15 emails and 5 phones. Run 15 Spanish names, then buy one Starter seat for a month if the hit rate is good. Free has no API.
API access is on request on paid plans. Starter allows 20 requests an hour and 250 a day, and Business allows 250 an hour and 500 a day (Kaspr pricing, September 2026). Each API call spends the data credit plus one export credit (Kaspr help center, September 2026). The API docs list no MCP server (Kaspr API docs, October 2026).
Pros
- Europe is the home market, with a Spanish hub.
- A free plan and a low per-user price.
- Unlimited B2B email credits on paid plans, subject to fair use.
Cons
- No Spanish count on the pages we read.
- API on request, 500 calls a day at the top public tier, and no MCP server listed.
- No public plan reaches 1M, and the free plan has 15 email credits.
Best for: reps who look up contacts one profile at a time in the browser and sell across Europe.
Pricing: Free, Starter EUR 59 or $65 and Business EUR 99 or $99 per user a month billed monthly (Kaspr pricing, September 2026).
4. Apollo: best for small teams that want an app and a cheap seat

Apollo is a prospecting app with a database behind it. Its pricing page claims 240M contacts and 30M companies (Apollo pricing, September 2026). The page shows no split for Spain, so the global total says nothing about Spanish owners or managing directors.
Plans bill per seat. Free is $0 with 75 credits a month. Basic is $65 a seat a month with 2,500 credits, Professional is $99 with 4,000 and Organization is $149 with 6,000. Billed yearly they are $49, $79 and $119 (Apollo pricing, September 2026). An email costs 1 credit and a phone 8 (Apollo API pricing, September 2026).
Spain test: the free plan has 75 credits, enough for 75 emails or 9 phones. Run 75 of your 100 names for email and note how many come back.
Paid plans allow 1,000 enrichment requests a minute (Apollo rate limits, September 2026). Apollo runs an official MCP server on any plan (Apollo MCP docs, September 2026).
Pros
- A full sales app with API and MCP on the free plan.
- Low per-seat price.
- 1,000 enrichment requests a minute on paid plans.
Cons
- No Spanish count on the pages we read.
- Seats cap the credits. 1M work emails is 250 Professional seats, or $24,750 a month at list.
- Credits do not roll over, and a phone costs 8 credits.
Best for: small teams that want prospecting and sequencing in one app and will test Spain on the free plan first.
Pricing: Free, then $65, $99 and $149 per seat a month, or $49, $79 and $119 billed yearly (Apollo pricing, September 2026).
5. Hunter: best for domain lookups with an app and extension
Hunter is built around a domain, which suits Spanish company websites ending in .es. One credit is one email found, and nothing is charged if nothing is found (Hunter help, September 2026). Hunter publishes no Spain count on the pages we read (Hunter Data Platform, October 2026).
The free plan gives 50 credits a month. Starter is $49 a month ($34 billed yearly) for 2,000 credits, and Scale is $299 for 25,000 (Hunter pricing, September 2026). At volume the route is Data Platform, which sells 1,000,000 Search credits for $6,900, bought once and valid 12 months.
Email Finder allows 15 requests a second (Hunter API docs, September 2026). The remote MCP server takes your API key and is included on every plan (Hunter MCP, September 2026).
Spain test: take 50 .es company domains and see how many return a named person with a verified email on the free 50 credits. Some firms use a generic mail domain, so note the misses.
Pros
- 15 requests a second on the core endpoints.
- MCP server included on every plan at no extra cost.
- Browser extension and Sheets add-on for reps who skip the API.
- Charges nothing when no email is found.
Cons
- No published Spain figure, and lookup starts from a domain.
- The top all-in-one plan stops at 25,000 credits a month.
- The 1M price is a one-off purchase, not a monthly bill.
Best for: teams that find emails by domain and want an app and extension beside the API.
Pricing: Free. Starter $49, Growth $149, Scale $299 a month, or less billed yearly (Hunter pricing, September 2026).
6. FullEnrich: best for waterfall emails and mobiles for known Spanish names
FullEnrich queries 25+ sources per contact and charges only for what it finds. A work email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a mobile 10. Not found costs 0 (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). It states about an 80% work-email find rate, a vendor claim we did not test, and no Spain count (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026).
Pro starts at $29 a month for 500 credits. The top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month, and above that you contact sales. API, MCP and bulk CSV are on every plan, including the free trial of 50 credits. The API allows 60 calls a minute (FullEnrich docs, September 2026).
Spain test: a waterfall suits a market with no strong local source in any one database, because it tries several. The 50 trial credits cover 50 work emails, so run 50 of your 100 names.
Pros
- Waterfall across 25+ sources, so one call covers several vendors.
- No charge for not found or landline results.
- API, MCP and unlimited users on every plan.
Cons
- Credits still cost $0.035 each on the top monthly tier.
- No public 1M price, and the API stops at 60 calls a minute.
- Mobiles cost 10 credits, so phone-heavy pulls get costly.
Best for: teams with a known list of Spanish names that want waterfall emails and mobiles.
Pricing: Pro from $29 a month for 500 credits ($26 billed yearly). Above 100,000 credits a month, contact sales (FullEnrich pricing, October 2026).
7. Lusha: best for a free plan and single Spanish lookups

Lusha sells contact data on self-serve credit plans, with a browser extension and an API. Its homepage claims 515M+ contacts, 29M+ companies and 165M+ emails (Lusha, October 2026). Those are global totals with no Spanish split. Free is $0 for 40 credits a month. An email costs 1 credit and a phone 5. Every plan, including Free, has an API key (Lusha API guide, September 2026). The MCP server has 50 tools and shares the REST credit pool (Lusha MCP docs, September 2026).
Spain test: Free gives 40 credits, enough for 40 emails or 8 phones. Run 40 of your names before you pay. If most come back empty, you have your answer.
Pros
- A free plan with an API key.
- A 50-tool MCP server on the same credit pool.
- Phone numbers in the same lookup.
Cons
- No Spanish count on the pages we read.
- Free and Starter allow 40 API requests a minute and 100 a day.
- The top public tier is 10,000 credits a month. 1M is 100 times that.
Best for: small phone-first teams that look up one Spanish contact at a time and test on the free plan first.
Pricing: Free, then Starter $49.90 a month ($37.45 billed yearly) and Premium $399.90 ($299.95 billed yearly) (Lusha pricing, September 2026).

Verdict
LeadOcean wins for API, agent and volume buyers in Spain. It gives a free, exact Spain count: 1,031,056 mailable on 21 October 2026, with phone coverage as the thin spot. Cognism wins for outbound teams that call mobiles, if its sample holds up on Spanish names. Kaspr suits LinkedIn-first reps, Apollo suits small teams on its free plan, Hunter suits domain lookups and FullEnrich suits waterfall mobiles. Lusha suits single lookups on its free plan. We measured no rival's Spanish match rate, so run the same 100 contacts through two tools before you buy.
