FullEnrich vs Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) (2026): Data, Pricing and API Compared

FullEnrich finds emails and mobiles through a waterfall of 25+ sources, priced in credits. Clearbit is now HubSpot enrichment, priced as part of a HubSpot plan. Here is how they compare at 1M records.

FullEnrich wins when you hold a list of people and need work emails and mobile numbers found. Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) wins when your records already live in HubSpot and you want them filled in. At 1M records a month, neither publishes a price you can order online.

Verdict

  • Pick FullEnrich if you have names, domains or LinkedIn URLs and need verified work emails and mobiles. You pay only for what it finds, and the API and MCP server are on every plan (FullEnrich pricing, October 2026).
  • Pick Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) if your contacts and companies already sit in HubSpot and you want them enriched in place, with no code (HubSpot docs, October 2026).
  • Pick neither if you pull people and company data by API at volume on a fixed bill. Credits and a CRM plan are both an awkward fit there. LeadOcean is one option, covered below.

Data and coverage

FullEnrich is a service you send a list to. Clearbit is a feature that fills in records you already hold. Neither is a database you search for a new audience of contacts with emails attached.

FullEnrich asks 25+ sources for each contact and lists 800M people and 50M companies for search (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Search results carry no emails or phones. The 1.6B figure on its homepage is a customer quote about coverage, not a database size (FullEnrich MCP page, September 2026).

Email is where FullEnrich earns its keep. It charges 1 credit for a work email and 3 for a personal one, and states about an 80% find rate on work emails (FullEnrich pricing, October 2026). That rate is the vendor's own claim. We did not test it.

Phones are the sharper gap. FullEnrich returns mobiles at 10 credits and charges nothing for a landline or a miss. Clearbit's default contact properties include no phone number, though company records can carry one (HubSpot docs, October 2026).

Clearbit's strength is firmographics. Its homepage lists 6-digit NAICS, GICS and SIC codes, parent and subsidiary mapping, and normalized role and seniority (Clearbit, October 2026). The default contact fields are job title, seniority, role, location and LinkedIn URL.

API and developer experience

FullEnrich has a public REST API with open docs, and you can read a request before you sign up. Clearbit has an API too, but its docs redirect to a sign-in page (Clearbit docs, October 2026). That is a real cost when you are choosing a tool.

FullEnrich, start a bulk enrichment for one contact. It takes up to 100. Placeholders stand in for a real person.

bash
curl --request POST \
  --url "https://app.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk" \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $FULLENRICH_API_KEY" \
  --header "Content-Type: application/json" \
  --data '{
    "name": "Jane Doe",
    "webhook_url": "https://example.com/webhook",
    "data": [{
      "first_name": "Jane",
      "last_name": "Doe",
      "domain": "acme.com",
      "enrich_fields": ["contact.work_emails", "contact.phones"]
    }]
  }'

The job is asynchronous. You get the result on your webhook, or you poll GET /bulk/{enrichment_id} (FullEnrich docs, October 2026). Passing a linkedin_url also returns a full contact and company profile. That suits batch pipelines better than a lookup inside a web request.

Clearbit, no public request. We show no sample, because the docs are behind a sign-in. Sign-ups since December 4, 2023 need a HubSpot account (Clearbit release notes, September 2026). Inside HubSpot, enrichment is a settings switch. A Super Admin turns on automatic enrichment, and it is off by default (HubSpot docs, October 2026).

Limits differ in kind. FullEnrich allows 60 calls a minute across Enrich, Reverse Email and Search, with 100 contacts per bulk request, which is up to 6,000 contacts a minute. Over the limit it returns HTTP 429 with the code error.rate.limit (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Clearbit publishes no rate limit.

On MCP, FullEnrich includes a server on every plan and lists search, enrichment and export (FullEnrich MCP page, September 2026). HubSpot's remote MCP server reads and writes CRM records such as contacts and deals. We found none for enrichment itself (HubSpot MCP, October 2026).

Pricing

FullEnrich bills credits on a slider, and unused credits roll over for 3 months on monthly plans and 12 on annual ones (FullEnrich pricing, September 2026). Clearbit bills nothing of its own, because enrichment sits inside a HubSpot plan. FullEnrich figures use the monthly list price first, with the billed-yearly price after it.

At 10,000 work emails a month

  • FullEnrich: 10,000 credits at 1 credit per email. The 10,000-credit tier is $499 a month. Billed yearly, 120,000 credits a year is $454 a month (FullEnrich pricing, October 2026). Credits are spent only on emails found, so a real bill can come in lower.
  • Clearbit: no per-record price. You pay the HubSpot plan, and data enrichment does not consume HubSpot Credits (HubSpot docs, October 2026). From an index page you enrich 100 records at a time, so 10,000 is 100 batches. Imports, segments and workflows take larger jobs.

At 10,000, FullEnrich has a clear price and Clearbit does not. If your HubSpot plan already includes enrichment, it adds nothing per record. If not, the CRM is the cost.

At 1M work emails a month

  • FullEnrich: no public 1M price. The top monthly tier is 100,000 credits for $3,500 a month. Above that, the page says contact sales. The yearly toggle stops at 1,200,000 credits a year for $37,800 billed yearly (FullEnrich pricing, October 2026).
  • Clearbit: no public 1M price. HubSpot publishes no per-record rate and no monthly volume ceiling to size against.

Both answers are a sales call. For FullEnrich, 1M lookups in one month is ten times the top monthly tier. For Clearbit, the plan fee is the only number you can see. HubSpot prices each hub by tier and seat, and shows the currency of your location (HubSpot pricing, October 2026).

Phones change the sums on the FullEnrich side. At 10 credits each, 10,000 mobiles are 100,000 credits, which is the $3,500 top tier on monthly billing. Clearbit has no comparable phone price to set against it.

Where FullEnrich wins

  • Found data. A waterfall over 25+ sources finds emails and mobiles one database misses.
  • Pay for hits only. A miss or a landline costs nothing, and unused credits roll over.
  • Open docs and a price list. You can read the API and the credit costs before you sign up.
  • API, MCP and bulk CSV from the free trial up, with unlimited users on every plan.

Where Clearbit (Breeze Intelligence) wins

  • Enrichment inside HubSpot. Automatic enrichment fills new records without anyone writing code.
  • Richer company data: 6-digit NAICS, GICS and SIC codes, plus parent and subsidiary mapping (Clearbit, October 2026).
  • Form shortening. A form shows only the fields it cannot enrich (Clearbit, October 2026).
  • No per-record price to track when you already own a HubSpot plan.

If you need volume through an API

LeadOcean is the data layer only: 693M people and 63M companies over REST and MCP. Pro is $499 a month flat, with no credits and no per-record price, and Free gives you 1,000 records, one-off, with no card. Both plans get the same API and 12-tool MCP server. POST /v1/exports returns up to 50,000 rows per request, at 100 requests per second per key (LeadOcean exports docs, September 2026). It does not run a waterfall or fill HubSpot properties, so it replaces neither tool for in-CRM work. See pricing.

FAQ

Is FullEnrich or Clearbit better for finding emails and phones?

FullEnrich. It is built to find work emails, personal emails and mobiles, and it charges only for what it finds. Clearbit enrichment starts from an email or domain you hold and does not list a contact phone field by default (HubSpot docs, October 2026).

Is Clearbit still a separate product?

Partly. Clearbit's site says it has joined HubSpot, and new sign-ups need a HubSpot account (Clearbit release notes, September 2026). HubSpot's docs call the feature data enrichment and list it inside its hubs.

Which is cheaper, FullEnrich or Clearbit?

At 10,000 work emails a month, FullEnrich lists at $499, or $454 billed yearly. Clearbit has no standalone price, only the HubSpot plan, and no public 1M price. If HubSpot is already paid for, Clearbit adds little. If not, FullEnrich is the clearer number.

Do both have an API and an MCP server?

FullEnrich includes both on every plan, including the free trial. Clearbit documents an API behind a sign-in, and we found no enrichment MCP server. HubSpot's MCP server covers CRM records.

How do their rate limits compare?

FullEnrich allows 60 calls a minute with up to 100 contacts per bulk request (FullEnrich docs, September 2026). Clearbit publishes no rate limit, so ask HubSpot before you build on it.

How does LeadOcean compare with these two?

LeadOcean is a data API and MCP server with one flat price, $499 a month on Pro, and no credits or CRM. It does not replace FullEnrich's waterfall or HubSpot's in-CRM enrichment.
